They’ve shown already they can compete and will lean heavily on their run game here to dictate a lot. Stevenson has been solid to start his season and his ability to shoot gaps and wear down the opposition has been a huge piece to the success for New England. The National League is a race to the finish for so many different reasons and two teams right in the thick of it battle on Thursday. Walker goes for the Phillies and he owns an ERA of over 6 this year. Philadelphia has used him more of like an opener now as he will typically last 2-3 innings as he just hasn’t been good. His struggles come from command and the Mets just saw him for 3.0 innings last week. They’re going to make the adjustments and should get to him here. Severino counters and he has been up and down all season himself. Phili just saw him last week as well and got him for 3 runs. They’re going to make him work much more here on Thursday and we should see plenty of run scoring chances for them. Grab the over.
