ASA WNBA play on Las Vegas Aces -2 vs Minnesota Lynx, 8pm ET - It’s rare that you get an opportunity to bet on the Aces at home with such a low spread, so we’ll take advantage today with a play on Las Vegas. The reason the line is as low as it is because the red-hot Lynx are in town. Minnesota is 10-2 on the season and has the best Net rating in the league at +15.1 and have done it without MVP candidate Napheesa Collier. Las Vegas finds themselves looking up at the Lynx in the standings and will be highly motivated for this home game. The Aces have won the league 3 of the last four seasons and sometimes need extra incentive to play at a peak level. Today’s the day to flex and show the rest of the WNBA they are the defending champs and the team to beat. LV is 41-16 SU at home since 2024 with an average margin of victory of +5.1PPG. Minnesota is coming off a home win over Dallas as a -4.5-point favorite. Interestingly enough, the Aces recently played in Dallas and were favored by -5.5-points. The line on today’s game suggests Minnesota is favored on a neutral court and we’re not buying it. Take the home team.

ASA WNBA free play on: Los Angeles Sparks -120 at Phoenix Mercury, 10pm ET - Phoenix has underachieved this season after playing in the Championship a year ago against the Aces and we’ll fade them in this home match up with the Sparks. The Mercury are 4-10 SU on the season and own the 11th worst Net rating in the league at -4.9. They struggle to score with the 12th rated offensive efficiency, shoot just 41.5% on the season overall and hit just 31.4% of their 3-pointers – both of which rank 12th worst in the league. Phoenix has a slight edge in this game defensively with the 11th rated defensive efficiency versus the Sparks 15th, but L.A. has the far superior offense, especially with Kelsey Plum back in the lineup. The Sparks are the 3rd best shooting team in the W at 46.4% overall and sit 8th in 3PT% at 32.7%. The Sparks offense will be the difference here and they’ll find a way to simply outscore the Mercury. Back the road team.

#961 ASA PLAY ON New York Yankees -120 over Toronto Blue Jays, Saturday at 3:07 PM ET - The Blue Jays got the better of the Yankees yesterday but this is a great spot for New York to bounce right back. Yes, even with Judge out for a long period of time, this Yankees team is still going to be in 'play on' situations from time to time and this is certainly one of them. The Yankees have gone 4-1 the last 5 times when entering a game off a loss. Cam Schlittler slated to get the start here and he has made 1 start against the Blue Jays and 13 against other major league teams this season. In 10 of those 13 starts he allowed either 0 or 1 earned run! In the start against Toronto he delivered a quality outing and allowed only 2 earned runs. He is having a strong season. On the road he is 6-1 with a 1.09 ERA this season. Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman is also having a solid season but he is coming off B2B tougher starts in which he has allowed 4 earned runs in each start plus allowed a combined 17 hits in 9 and 1/3 innings. The Yankees roll to the road win here.

#971/972 ASA PLAY ON Over 9 Runs (-100) – St Louis Cardinals at Minnesota Twins, Saturday at 2:10 PM ET - Minnesota won yesterday's game 9-8 and that was their 5th straight game reaching double digits in runs.  We do not see that suddenly changing here.  The high-scoring trend continues.  The Cardinals last 9 games have featured 6 reaching a total of at least 9 runs and that is the total we are working with on this one today as it is posted at 9 runs.  Look for a back and forth high-scoring game as the Cardinals Liberatore has just one strong start in his last 5.  In the other 4 starts he allowed 14 earned runs in 19 innings!  The Twins Prielipp is off of a better start but he has been on a bit of a fade as his 3 starts leading into that one saw the rookie allow 15 earned runs in 14 and 1/3 innings.  Both pitchers get rocked here and the high-scoring trend continues for these teams. 

2026 FIFA World Cup, Group Stage: #225249 ASA PLAY ON Scotland Money Line -172 over Haiti, Saturday at 9 pm et – This one taking place in Foxboro, MA.  We are laying a price here but that is also why we are keeping the rating lower on this one.  The value is still there.  The trouble with the goal line is that it is currently set at 1 goal and we don't want to bet Scotland -1 goal and then have to settle for a push with our bet if they win this match by exactly a 1 goal margin.  That is why we are laying the price here with the money line but keeping our rating lower on this one.  Haiti does not regularly play against the higher level of competition like Scotland does on a regular basis and that definitely carries some weight here.  Haiti ranks as one of the weakest teams in this competition and outside of Wilson Isidor, this club just does not have the same level of talent and competitive experience that this Scotland side has.  Also, leading the way for Scotland is Scott McTominay and he is a difference maker that will cause Haiti a lot of trouble here. McTominay was back in training Friday after missing Thursday with a stomach bug so he appears good to go here.  Scotland scored 8 goals in their two friendlies leading up to this competition while Haiti, in their most recent friendly, lost 2-1 to Peru and shots on goal were 5 to 1 in favor of Peru in that match.  The Scots realize the importance of this match with tough battles up ahead in this group with Morocco and Brazil.  That means a focused effort on securing the victory here and we look for the big favorite to roll in this one. Lay the money line with Scotland Saturday evening. 

ASA NBA play on San Antonio Spurs -5 vs. NY Knicks, 8:30 pm ET - The Knicks lead this series 3-1 but have been outplayed by the Spurs for the majority of the series and we expect the young Spurs to rebound off that heartbreaking Game 3 loss in New York. San Antonio jumped out to an early lead in the last game and never looked back…until late the 4th Q after blowing a 29-point margin. The one thing you should notice about the Spurs is that they don’t seem shaken after losses. When they needed big wins in the series against OKC they found ways to win. San Antonio was the best team in the league when coming off a loss this season with a 21-6 SU record and an average margin of victory of +11.1PPG. SAS is 11-2 in their last 13 when playing at home and coming off a loss and all of those wins but one came by 9 or more points. If you expect the Spurs to win this game as we do then the following applies. In the last 72 NBA Finals games the team that wins outright has gone 66-3-2 ATS. New York will have a tough time duplicating a 15/32 shooting night from beyond the arc on the road against a Spurs that allowed 34.9% on the season – 8th lowest number in the league. This series is going back to New York and we predict a 12+ point win by the home team.
