(3 Unit Play Under) The Rockets and Spurs are very familiar with each other, and this should be a high intensity game. The Spurs are a top two or three defense in the NBA now with their shot blocking ability and athleticism on the perimeter. 

Houston will try to slow the pace down here, and San Antonio's offense has been inconsistent in recent weeks.

Late season games between good teams have been strong to the under in general, and when it is a divisional game it is even stronger.

Central Arkansas has really shown up defensively in the ASUN tournament with strong performances against Bellarmine and FGCU and the Bears did a great job against Queens during the 2nd meeting which took place last week. UCA held Queens to just 24 points in the first half and limited the open looks from deep as the Royals made just 10 of 34 from deep. 

Queens is not likely to be able to penetrate the lane against the UCA defense so they are going to have to rely on the outside shooting, where Queens ranks just 8th in the ASUN in 3-point percentage on offense. It is however on defense where I think Queens could struggle. 

This defense is not overly efficient and struggles with sending their opponents to the line. Avantae Parker and Maban Jabriel have struggled recently with fouls and have had to sit the bench more routinely than expected, and I dont think we can count on this defense to get stops. UCA averaged 1.22 points per possessions in the two meetings played this season, and I trust the strongest and hottest team in this league to win and get the Auto-Bid. 

3-unit play

Navy was in a much tighter battle than expected in the opener against Bucknell as the Middies were down 8 points in the 2nd half before making a big run and taking control to advance. This Navy team is the best team in the Patriot League with wide margin and should be focused and ready to go after the opening round scare. 

Navy swept Boston U this season and did a great job against the Terriers three point shooting limiting them to just 33% from deep in the two meetings. Boston had just 41 points at the under-10 minute mark of the 2nd half in the first meeting which saw Austin Benigni and Aidan Kehoe take over. Navy did a great job getting to the line and getting the Boston big men into foul trouble and I would guess Navy works the post in this one here. 

Strangely in the 2nd meeting Navy was down 14-0 in the first six minutes before holding the Terriers to just 36 points the rest of the way, as the defense equally effective in the second meeting. 

I trust the Navy defense to show up here and the emergence of Jinwoo Kim burying the three ball has been a critical lifeline for the Middies offense. After how the 2nd meeting went with Boston this year and how the 1st round game against Bucknell played out, I fully expect we see a fully locked in Navy team who has the talent to win this game by a dozen. Lay it.
