03-05-20 | Clippers v. Rockets +1 | Top | 120-105 | Loss | -101 | 6 h 14 m | Show |
Rockets The Los Angeles Clippers aim to post their sixth consecutive victory when they visit the Houston Rockets on Thursday. The Clippers recorded four double-digit triumphs during the streak, including Tuesday's 109-94 road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Houston had a six-game winning streak halted when it sustained a disappointing 125-123 road loss to the New York Knicks on Monday. Keeping forward Paul George healthy for the stretch run is a key desire for the Clippers as he is averaging 21.3 points over the past three games after having 16 versus the Thunder. Houston resides in fourth place in the Western Conference and stands 2 1/2 games behind the second-place Clippers, so this contest rates as a big one. A bounce-back effort is certainly needed after the showing against the Knicks in which the club let the game get away despite 35 points and eight assists from All-Star guard James Harden. The Rockets are 2-1 against the Clippers this season, including a 102-93 home win on Nov. 13. Clippers are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings. Back the Rockets at home. |

03-02-20 | Jazz v. Cavs +9.5 | Top | 126-113 | Loss | -104 | 4 h 7 m | Show |
Cavs The Utah Jazz picked themselves up and snapped a four-game slide on Friday, just in time to switch the momentum in front of a four-game road trip. The Jazz will try to get that trip started with a victory when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. Utah, which faces three teams fighting for lottery position on the trip, went a disappointing 2-4 on the just completed homestand but leaned on star guard Donovan Mitchell and came away with a 129-119 victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday. The Jazz have just not been playing good ball. Cleveland turned heads with home wins over Miami and Philadelphia early last week but dropped both ends of a back-to-back at New Orleans and against Indiana on Friday and Saturday to fall to 3-3 since J.B. Bickerstaff took over as head coach during the All-Star break. Make no mistake they are playing hard for him. Jazz are just 1-10-2 ATS in their last 13 games as a favorite and are 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Cavaliers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 1 days rest and are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. |

02-29-20 | Rockets +1.5 v. Celtics | Top | 111-110 | Win | 100 | 7 h 31 m | Show |
Rockets The Boston Celtics are developing a new superstar in forward Jayson Tatum, and he has his team on a hot streak. Tatum and the Celtics will face another team surging up the standings when they host James Harden, Russell Westbrook and the red-hot Houston Rockets on Saturday. The Rockets are winners of five straight and began that streak with a 116-105 home triumph over the Celtics on Feb. 11 that featured a combined 78 points from Harden and Westbrook. Those two former MVPs went for a combined 63 points on 24-of-40 shooting, 16 rebounds, 11 assists and five steals in a 140-112 drubbing of the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. Houston's switch to full-time small ball has had the most impact on Westbrook, who is averaging 33.2 points on 53.6 percent shooting since Jan. 9 and is up to 47 percent shooting on the season - the best mark of his career. Houston owns a four-game winning streak in the series and earned a 115-104 victory in its trip to Boston last season. Take the Rockets on the road. |

02-28-20 | Thunder +12 v. Bucks | Top | 86-133 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 59 m | Show |
Thunder The Milwaukee Bucks look to post their fifth consecutive victory when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. The NBA-best Bucks became the first team in the NBA to reach the 50-win mark when they recorded a 108-97 road win over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday. Oklahoma City recovered from a 19-point, third-quarter deficit to post a 112-108 home win over the Sacramento Kings on Thursday. The Thunder have won five straight games and 14 of the past 17 to move a season-best 15 games over .500. Coach Billy Donovan said his squad was outplayed by the Kings over the first 30 minutes of the contest while playing "back on our heels." Oklahoma City turned the game around while on a 22-4 surge to close the third quarter and fought off Sacramento down the stretch. The Thunder Gallinari scored 24 points for the second straight game Thursday and has exceeded 20 in four of the past seven contests. Thunder are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 0 days rest. Take the points with OKC on the road. |

02-26-20 | Mavs -4.5 v. Spurs | Top | 109-103 | Win | 100 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
Mavs The San Antonio Spurs play at home for the first time since Feb. 1 when they face the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. The Spurs went 2-6 on their annual Rodeo Road Trip. San Antonio was steamrolled 131-103 by the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday in the final contest of the trip as the team collapsed after holding a nine-point, second-quarter lead. San Antonio star SG DeMar DeRozan (11 points) and PF LaMarcus Aldridge (eight) both struggled against Oklahoma City. The Mavericks are coming off a 139-123 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves and now begin a four-game road trip knowing they have an impressive 19-9 record in unfriendly venues. The Mavericks are 2-0 against the Spurs this season after San Antonio won the previous five matchups. Mavericks are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games as a road favorite. Spurs are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games following a road trip of 7 or more days. Lay the points with the Mavs on the road. |

02-22-20 | 76ers v. Bucks -8.5 | Top | 98-119 | Win | 100 | 7 h 24 m | Show |
Bucks The Philadelphia 76ers came out of the All-Star break and battled for an overtime home win on Thursday, pushing their streak to four in a row, but things are about to get tougher. The road-challenged 76ers will play six of their next eight away from home, beginning with a visit to the NBA-best Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Philadelphia is an NBA-best 26-2 at home after locking down on the defensive end in overtime against Brooklyn on Thursday and pulling out a 124-112 victory, but it is just 9-19 on the road. The 76ers' last road game was a 112-101 loss at Milwaukee on Feb. 6 that marked their fifth consecutive road setback and included a 6-of-26 shooting effort from All-Star center Joel Embiid, who just can’t play well on the road in big games. The Bucks dropped their final game prior to the All-Star break with superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo sitting out following the birth of his first child but looked like championship contenders again on Thursday, when All-Stars Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton combined for 61 points and 24 rebounds in a 126-106 win at Detroit. 76ers are 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a road underdog. Bucks are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite and are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 Saturday games. The Bucks will be up for this game and the 76ers will not. Lay the big number with Milwaukee at home. |

02-21-20 | Pelicans -5 v. Blazers | Top | 128-115 | Win | 100 | 9 h 5 m | Show |
Pelicans The New Orleans Pelicans attempt to complete a four-game season sweep of Portland when they visit the Trail Blazers on Friday. The Pelicans won the first three meetings by an average of 13.3 points, including a 138-117 home romp on Feb. 11, and Portland will be missing star guard Damian Lillard this time. New Orleans won six of its last nine games prior to the All-Star break and resides in 11th place in the West, 5 1/2 games behind the Grizzlies for the final postseason berth. All-Star small forward Brandon Ingram (ankle) is referring to himself as "a full-go" for Friday's game after missing three contests and being limited to nine minutes in the All-Star Game. Ingram averages a team-high 24.9 points and also collects 6.4 rebounds per game and he is looking forward for the stretch run, particularly with rookie forward Zion Williamson thriving with a 22.5 scoring average through 10 career games. Pelicans are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. Trail Blazers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 3 or more days rest. Pelicans are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings and they will get the win and cover the number on Friday. |

02-21-20 | Mavs -4 v. Magic | Top | 122-106 | Win | 100 | 6 h 33 m | Show |
Mavs Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is back after representing the World team in the Rising Stars Challenge and starting for Team LeBron in Sunday's All-Star Game but will get back to the business of leading his team to the playoffs on Friday. Doncic and the Mavericks will visit the Orlando Magic on Friday to begin a stretch with six of seven on the road. The Magic are working on their playoff positioning as well and come out of the break in eighth place in the Eastern Conference after winning their last two games. Orlando dropped 10 of 12 before the brief hot streak going into the break and has not beaten a team with a winning record since Jan. 15. Doncic's absence gave forward Kristaps Porzingis the space to shine and he responded by averaging 28.8 points in the five games he played while Doncic was out. The two thrived together upon Doncic's return last week, with Porzingis springing for 27 points on 11-of-16 shooting, 13 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in the 130-111 victory over Sacramento. Mavericks are 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games as a road favorite. Magic are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog. Mavericks are 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Orlando. I’m willing to lay the short number on the road with Dallas. |
|||||||
02-12-20 | Bucks -1 v. Pacers | Top | 111-118 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 32 m | Show |
Bucks The Indiana Pacers are slumping their way toward the All-Star break, and the last thing they need to see is the NBA-best Milwaukee Bucks. The Pacers will try to catch the Bucks napping and snap a six-game slide when they host Milwaukee on Wednesday. All six losses during Indiana's slide came by single digits and five came at home, with Monday's 106-105 setback to the Brooklyn Nets particularly crushing after the team squandered a late lead. The Bucks are cruising toward the break and ran their latest winning streak to five in a row on Monday with a 123-111 win over the Sacramento Kings despite the absence of superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who sat out after welcoming his first child. Middleton delivered 28 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists in Monday's win while point guard Eric Bledsoe stepped up with 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting, eight rebounds and eight assists. Milwaukee dominated the first two meetings, winning by an average of 23.5 points. Bucks get the win and cover. |
|||||||
02-10-20 | Nets v. Pacers -7 | Top | 106-105 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 4 m | Show |
Pacers The Indiana Pacers are struggling through their longest losing streak of the season and have the NBA-best Milwaukee Bucks looming in the finale of a four-game homestand later this week. The Pacers will try to snap their five-game slide before the matchup with the Bucks when they first host the Brooklyn Nets on Monday. The Nets saw their bid for a third straight win go by the board in a 119-118 loss at Toronto on Saturday. Star guard Kyrie Irving (knee) missed his third straight game and already has been ruled out for this one. Pacers SG Victor Oladipo sat out Saturday's contest for rest as he continues his recovery from knee surgery. He should be good to go tonight. Indiana won the first two meetings - both in Brooklyn. Nets are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 2-10 ATS in the last 12 meetings. Pacers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following an ATS loss. Lay the points with Indiana at home. |
|||||||
02-06-20 | 76ers v. Bucks -9 | Top | 101-112 | Win | 100 | 5 h 37 m | Show |
Bucks The Philadelphia 76ers are struggling with losses in three straight games and are coming off back-to-back setbacks by 20-plus points to fellow playoff contenders in the Eastern Conference. The road trip doesn't get any easier as the 76ers try to figure things out and avoid heading home winless on the four-game excursion when they visit the NBA-best Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. Philadelphia dropped a 127-117 decision at lowly Atlanta to begin the trip and was run off the floor in losses at Boston and Miami to fall to 9-18 on the road - the worst road record of any team in the top eight of its respective conference. The Bucks have no trouble playing a physical game and knocked around rookie Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans in a 120-108 triumph on Tuesday - their 16th win in the last 18 games. Milwaukee held New Orleans to 38.4 percent shooting after limiting the Phoenix Suns to 39.4 percent in a 129-108 triumph Sunday. 76ers are 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Bucks are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. Lay the inflated number with the Bucks at home. |
|||||||
01-30-20 | Raptors -10 v. Cavs | Top | 115-109 | Loss | -109 | 5 h 4 m | Show |
Raptors The Toronto Raptors pushed their season-best winning streak to eight straight with an easy win over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday and are showing off the offensive balance the team hopes will help it avoid any prolonged slumps. The Raptors will try to make it nine in a row when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers in the opener of a two-game trip on Thursday. The Cavaliers dropped eight of their last nine contests and are losers of eight in a row at home after opening a four-game homestand with a 125-111 loss to New Orleans on Tuesday. Lowry had some success on Monday passing to the frontcourt duo of Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka, who each scored 24 points and combined for 20 rebounds in the victory. Toronto took the first two meetings - both at home - by an average of 20 points. Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. Cavaliers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games. Take Toronto in a rout. |
|||||||
01-24-20 | Kings v. Bulls -2 | Top | 98-81 | Loss | -104 | 5 h 53 m | Show |
Bulls The Sacramento Kings are sliding with losses in six straight games and will try to avoid falling to 0-4 on a five-game road trip when they visit the Chicago Bulls on Friday. The Kings put up a good fight in a 118-113 overtime setback at Miami on Monday but could not muster the same effort in a 127-106 loss at Detroit on Wednesday. Sacramento allowed the Pistons to shoot 53.4 percent from the floor and committed 28 personal fouls, which led to a 37-of-44 night at the line for the Pistons. The Bulls continued their recent trend of trading wins and losses by following a loss at Milwaukee with a victory at home over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Chicago, which is 4-4 over its last eight games. Chicago earned a 113-106 win at Sacramento on Dec. 2 as LaVine and Markkanen combined for 48 points. Kings are 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. Bulls are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. Back the Bulls at home. |
|||||||
01-24-20 | Celtics +2 v. Magic | Top | 109-98 | Win | 100 | 4 h 52 m | Show |
Celtics The Boston Celtics have barely been tested in back-to-back wins, but they have some injury concerns heading into Friday night's visit to the Orlando Magic. Forward Jayson Tatum suffered a groin injury and did not return during Wednesday's 119-95 win over Memphis. The Magic returned home from a 3-3 road trip to drop a 120-114 decision to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday. Orlando prides itself on its defense while holding opponents to an NBA-low 104.3 points, but Oklahoma City had few issues scoring Wednesday night while shooting 60.5 percent - a high for a Magic opponent this season. Boston had 31 assists in Monday's 139-107 rout of the Los Angeles Lakers and it tied a season high with 32 versus Memphis, with 11 players recording at least one. Celtics are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a road underdog. I look for the Celtics to keep their momentum going in Orlando. |
|||||||
12-26-19 | Spurs +7 v. Mavs | Top | 98-102 | Win | 100 | 8 h 30 m | Show |
Spurs Star point guard Luka Doncic will likely return from a four-game absence when the Dallas Mavericks host the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. Doncic, who suffered an ankle injury against the Miami Heat on Dec. 14, went through a full practice on Tuesday and displayed he is nearly ready to rejoin the Mavericks. San Antonio has won five of its past eight games, including a stunning 145-115 road win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday. The Spurs registered a season high for points and also shot 67.4 percent from the field, which is the highest mark in the NBA this season. San Antonio made 19-of-22 shots to start the game while dismantling the Grizzlies and power forward LaMarcus Aldridge was superb with a season-best 40 points on 17-of-25 shooting to go with nine rebounds and five assists. Dallas is looking to move on from an embarrassing 110-107 road loss to the Toronto Raptors as it became the first team to lose a game it led by 30 points since 2009. Spurs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Mavericks are 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Back the Spurs plus the points! |
|||||||
12-25-19 | Clippers +2 v. Lakers | Top | 111-106 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show |
Clippers LeBron James and Anthony Davis are expected to try and play when the Los Angeles Lakers clash with the visiting Los Angeles Clippers on Christmas Day at the Staples Center. James is dealing with a thoracic muscle strain in his back while Davis has an injured right knee as the Lakers attempt to halt a season-worst three-game slide. James missed his first game of the season on Sunday due to the injury and he and Davis are listed as questionable for the second version of the Los Angeles showdown. The Clippers prevailed 112-102 on Oct. 22, the opening night of the season, despite forward Paul George being sidelined. George is thrilled to be playing in front of his family on Christmas Day and understands all the hype surrounding the contest. Leonard (knee) sat out Sunday's game against Oklahoma City and should be well-rested for the Lakers. Leonard scored 30 points in his Clippers' debut in the season-opening win over the Lakers. He’ll have another big game tonight. Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss. Lakers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. Clippers are 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings. Take the Clippers to grab the win. |
|||||||
12-19-19 | Rockets v. Clippers -5 | Top | 122-117 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 27 m | Show |
Clippers The Houston Rockets pulled off an epic comeback earlier this week and they hope the momentum carries over into Thursday's road contest against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Rockets set a franchise record by overcoming a 25-point deficit on Monday to post a 109-107 home win over the San Antonio Spurs. Houston's defense was nowhere to be found while allowing 72 first-half points to the Spurs but it clamped down in the second half to give up just 35 and set the stage for the stunning comeback win. Los Angeles won five of its past six games and rolled to a 120-99 win over the visiting Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. Paul George scored 24 points while fellow forward Kawhi Leonard and stellar sixth man Lou Williams each added 20. Star guard James Harden scored 28 points against San Antonio but was just 10-of-29 shooting, including a porous 4-of-17 in the opening half. Williams (calf) and point guard Patrick Beverley (concussion) both returned from two-game absences to play versus Phoenix and the latter scored nine points while playing his typical pesky defense. Rockets are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a home favorite and are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest. Take the Clippers to get the win and cover at home. |
|||||||
12-19-19 | Lakers v. Bucks -4 | Top | 104-111 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show |
Bucks The two teams that share the best record in the NBA will possess the same floor when the Milwaukee Bucks host the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. Both clubs lost their most recent game with Milwaukee seeing an 18-game winning streak reach an end and Los Angeles having its seven-game victory streak halted. The Bucks fell two games shy of matching the franchise mark for consecutive victories set during the 1970-71 season when they lost 120-116 to a Dallas Mavericks' squad missing star guard Luka Doncic on Monday, but their attention quickly turned to the Lakers. Los Angeles had its 14-game road winning streak halted Tuesday when it succumbed 105-102 to the Indiana Pacers with star power forward Anthony Davis (ankle) sidelined. He is questionable tonight. Los Angeles F Kyle Kuzma (ankle) could miss his fifth straight game. The Bucks have defeated the Lakers a franchise-record five straight times. Lay the small number at home with a big effort by the Bucks. |
|||||||
12-12-19 | 76ers v. Celtics +2 | Top | 115-109 | Loss | -113 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
Celtics The Philadelphia 76ers look to bring their home success with them on the road when they visit the Boston Celtics on Thursday Night on TNT. The 76ers are a superb 13-0 at home but are a shaky 5-7 in away games as they meet a Boston team that’s red-hot with its own 10-0 home mark. Philadelphia has won 11 of its past 13 games overall during a home-heavy stretch (nine at Wells Fargo Arena) and forward Tobias Harris likes the fight displayed in back-to-back wins over strong teams such as the Toronto Raptors and Denver Nuggets. Boston had a four-game winning streak halted with Wednesday's 122-117 road loss to the Indiana Pacers despite star guard Kemba Walker pouring in a season-best 44 points. I look for Walker to keep the hot hand tonight. 76ers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games and are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a road favorite. Celtics are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games as a home underdog. 76ers are 0-5 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Boston and I look for the Celtics to get the money. |
|||||||
12-04-19 | Wolves v. Mavs -4 | Top | 114-121 | Win | 100 | 8 h 54 m | Show |
Mavs Luka Doncic is playing like a MVP for the Dallas Mavericks as he is leading his in to wins. He will look to carry the load again when his club hosts the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Doncic had 33 points and a career-high 18 rebounds in Tuesday's 118-97 road win over the New Orleans Pelicans as Dallas won for the eighth time in nine games. Minnesota is opening a four-game road trip and is coming off a dreadful 115-107 home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. "Very disappointing," Timberwolves coach Ryan Saunders told reporters. Rookie guard Jarrett Culver is averaging 9.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists but he is shooting a frigid 40.5 percent from the free-throw line. Doncic won Western Conference player of the month honors for October/November after averaging 30.8 points, 9.9 rebounds and 9.6 assists over an 18-game span. Timberwolves are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games playing on 2 days rest. Mavericks are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite. The Timberwolves have won seven of the past 10 meetings I like the Mavs in a big win.

12-04-19 | Suns v. Magic +2.5 | Top | 114-128 | Win | 100 | 6 h 24 m | Show |
Magic The Phoenix Suns started off the season as overrated in my opinion. The Suns bounced back from a very bad homestand to start a four-game road trip on the right foot Monday in Charlotte, where the Suns rode a 23-point performance by Kelly Oubre Jr. to a 109-104 win over the Hornets to improve to 4-3 on the road.. They'll try to make it two in a row away from home when they visit the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. The Magic are coming off a 127-120 win at Washington on Tuesday, their second straight road victory after opening 0-7 away from home. Evan Fournier led the way with 31 points in Orlando's highest-scoring output of the season. Suns are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up win. Magic are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 0 days rest and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games. The Suns are inconsistent on the road. I’ll back the Magic as a small home dog. |
|||||||
11-06-19 | 76ers v. Jazz -2 | Top | 104-106 | Push | 0 | 8 h 17 m | Show |
Utah The Philadelphia 76ers will have star center Joel Embiid back in the lineup when they visit the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. Embiid served a two-game suspension for his recent tussle with Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns and Philadelphia fell from the ranks of the unbeaten in the second contest, losing 114-109 to the host Phoenix Suns on Monday. ABOUT THE JAZZ (4-3): Star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell scored a season-high 36 points against the Clippers and is averaging a robust 25.7 points per game. But Mitchell (3.3 assists) and new point guard Mike Conley (3.9) aren't getting the ball inside enough for Rudy Gobert's liking as the 7-foot-2 center is averaging just 10.9 points. That will improve tonight. This is Philly's third road game in five days, while Utah hasn't played since Sunday in LA. The Jazz are led by Mitchell (25.7-4.7-3.3) and the league's top-defense in terms of points allowed (95.6 per). Utah is back home where the team is 3-0, outscoring opponents on average, 107.7-to-90.7 PPG. Embiid's back but Philly falls for a second straight time. Tough spot for Philly, so I’ll back the Jazz at home. |
|||||||
11-06-19 | Bulls v. Hawks -2 | Top | 113-93 | Loss | -108 | 7 h 46 m | Show |
Hawks Trae Young is back in the lineup for the Atlanta Hawks and the second-year point guard continues to put on a show. Young returned from a sprained ankle to help the Hawks snap a three-game losing streak Tuesday and he looks for another solid outing on Wednesday against the visiting Chicago Bulls. Young missed one game due to his ailment and missed all eight of his first-half shots before erupting to score 28 of his 29 points in the second half as well as finishing with 13 assists during a 108-100 home win over the San Antonio Spurs. The Bulls have lost five of their past six games and suffered a fourth-quarter collapse on Tuesday when they were outscored 38-19 over the final 12 minutes en route to a 118-112 home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Atlanta F Jabari Parker moved into the starting lineup due to Collins' suspension and had 19 points and eight rebounds against the Spurs. Lay the small number with the Hawks. |
|||||||
06-13-19 | Raptors v. Warriors -135 | Top | 114-110 | Loss | -135 | 10 h 5 m | Show |
Warriors The Golden State Warriors look to even the NBA Finals at three games apiece when they host the Toronto Raptors on Thursday in Game 6 of the seven-game series. Toronto had the opportunity to close it out on Monday but suffered a 106-105 home loss during a contest in which Warriors star forward Kevin Durant ruptured his Achilles tendon in his first appearance of the series. The Raptors will make a second attempt at clinching their first NBA crown after letting a six-point lead with three minutes remaining slip away in Game 5. Star forward Kawhi Leonard was just 9-of-24 from the field in Game 5 but still managed 26 points as his average in the NBA Finals dropped to 29.8. Center DeMarcus Cousins was going to receive diminished minutes in Game 5 but Durant's injury led to more court time and the nine-year-veteran was a key contributor with 14 points in 20 minutes. Look for the Warriors to play a complete game as they close out the Oracle Arena. |
|||||||
06-13-19 | Raptors v. Warriors OVER 211 | Top | 114-110 | Win | 100 | 10 h 4 m | Show |
Raptors/Warriors over The Warriors will have a solid night shooting the ball and the Raptors should want to continue to run on the offensive end. Over is 9-3 in Raptors last 12 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Over is 4-1 in Warriors last 5 games following a straight up win and is 9-4 in Warriors last 13 NBA Championship games. Over is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings in Golden State. Back over the total in game six. |

06-10-19 | Warriors +2 v. Raptors | Top | 106-105 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
Warriors The Golden State Warriors are not quite as invincible as they have seemed in the past and are on the verge of falling in the NBA Finals for the second time in four years. The Toronto Raptors can close out the best-of-seven series and earn the first title in franchise history when they host the Warriors in Game 5 on Monday. Golden State, which once lost an NBA Finals while holding a 3-1 lead, dropped Games 3 and 4 at home while dealing with a variety of injuries and is still not committing to putting former MVP Kevin Durant (calf) back on the court for Game 5 although he is listed as questionable after practicing Sunday. Star point guard Steph Curry is one of the few healthy players left on the Golden State roster and did everything he could with 47 points in Game 3's 123-109 loss before finishing with 27 points on 9-of-22 shooting while facing a variety of traps and double teams in the 105-92 Game 4 setback. All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry was held to 10 points on 3-of-12 shooting in Game 4 but handed out seven assists and contributed to the defensive effort against Curry with three steals. With or without Kevin Durant the Warriors step it up and get game 5. |

06-07-19 | Raptors v. Warriors -4.5 | Top | 105-92 | Loss | -107 | 9 h 58 m | Show |
Warriors Klay Thompson will return to the lineup while Kevin Durant will again be sidelined when the Golden State Warriors host the Toronto Raptors on Friday in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Thompson (hamstring) is back from a one-game absence and Durant (calf) has yet to play in a series in which Toronto holds a 2-1 lead. Star forward Kawhi Leonard scored 30 points in the Game 3 win - his 13th 30-point outing of the postseason - as he continues to carry a franchise that now stands two wins away from its first NBA title. Guard Stephen Curry was a one-man show in Game 3 as he poured in 47 points for his sixth career playoff 40-point outing as well as contributing eight rebounds and seven assists. I look for Thompson and the Warriors role player to step up here and also play much better defense in game 4. Lay the small number with the Dubs. |

06-05-19 | Raptors v. Warriors -4.5 | Top | 123-109 | Loss | -103 | 10 h 55 m | Show |
Warriors Shooting guard Klay Thompson hopes to be on the floor when the Golden State Warriors host the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Thompson injured his left hamstring in Sunday's Game 2 victory and considers himself a game-time decision despite coach Steve Kerr listing him as questionable. I see him playing tonight. Warriors forward Kevin Durant (calf) has been ruled out for the third straight time in the series tied 1-1 and Thompson has no interest in joining him on the sidelines. Raptors star forward Kawhi Leonard had 34 points and 14 rebounds in the Game 2 loss and is averaging 28.5 points and 11 rebounds while continuing to carry the team in the postseason. Toronto let an opportunity get away in Game 2 when it shot just 37.2 percent from the field as Leonard (8-of-20), power forward Pascal Siakam (5-of-18) and point guard Kyle Lowry (4-of-11) were all missing their shooting touch. Kerr indicated that Thompson will be monitored closely leading up to Game 3 as he expects the sharpshooter will want to play no matter how he is feeling. Raptors are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 2 days rest. Warriors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 NBA Championship games. The Warriors get the win and cover in Game 3 at home! |
|||||||
06-02-19 | Warriors +2 v. Raptors | Top | 109-104 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show |
Warriors The Toronto Raptors own homecourt advantage in the NBA Finals, but it still came as a bit of a shock when they took Game 1 from the two-time defending champions. The Raptors were not among those surprised by their success and still think they can improve when they host the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 on Sunday. The Warriors are still missing superstar Kevin Durant (calf) and swingman Andre Iguodala (calf) is banged up, but the team is not in panic mode following the early loss. Stephen Curry led the way with 34 points in Game 1, Klay Thompson added 21 points and Draymond Green recorded a triple-double, but no other Warriors player reached double figures. Look for that to change here in game two. Warriors are 12-5 ATS in their last 17 games following a ATS loss. Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 2 days rest. Take the Warriors to bounce back here in Toronto! |

05-30-19 | Warriors v. Raptors UNDER 213.5 | Top | 109-118 | Loss | -103 | 8 h 58 m | Show |
Warriors/Raptors under I’ll make a case for the under in game one with both teams being a little tight. Under is 12-5-1 in Warriors last 18 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and is 25-10 in Warriors last 35 vs. NBA Atlantic. Under is 13-6 in Raptors last 19 overall and is 10-4 in Raptors last 14 games playing on 3 or more days rest. |

05-30-19 | Warriors v. Raptors -115 | Top | 109-118 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show |
Raptors The Toronto Raptors play a game in the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history on Thursday when they host the two-time defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors. The Raptors have ridden star forward Kawhi Leonard to the Finals, while the powerful Warriors will open the series without star forward Kevin Durant. Toronto has homecourt advantage for the Finals due to a better regular-season record than Golden State and winning the opening two games would improve the club's chances of winning the series. Point guard Stephen Curry is picking up the scoring slack with Durant sidelined and has scored 30 or more points in five straight playoff games and six of the past seven, while shooting guard Klay Thompson has just one 30-point outing in 16 playoff contests. Leonard is averaging 31.2 points and 8.8 rebounds in the postseason and is again being discussed as perhaps the best player in the NBA while carrying Toronto to the Finals. The different here will be the Toronto defense and their bench. Back the Raptors in game one. I am also taking the Raptors in the series at a nice price of plus 240. This is a even series to me so I’ll take the nice number the odds makers are giving! |

05-25-19 | Bucks v. Raptors OVER 212.5 | Top | 94-100 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 49 m | Show |
Bucks/Raptors over Just too big of a adjustment here by the line makers on the total. Look for both teams to shoot much better here than in game 5. Over is 9-1 in Bucks last 10 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and is 14-3 in Bucks last 17 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Over is 5-1 in Raptors last 6 games playing on 1 days rest and is 4-1 in Raptors last 5 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. Take over the total. |

05-25-19 | Bucks v. Raptors -2 | Top | 94-100 | Win | 100 | 9 h 48 m | Show |
Raptors The Toronto Raptors look to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history when they host the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals on Saturday. The Raptors have won the past three contests, including a 105-99 road win on Thursday that enabled them to take a 3-2 series lead. Backup point guard Fred VanVleet scored 21 points on seven 3-pointers in the Game 5 victory and is 10-for-12 from long range over the last two games after being 2-for-11 over the first three games. The Raptors keep the momentum going and close out the series. |

05-23-19 | Raptors v. Bucks OVER 215.5 | Top | 105-99 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 15 m | Show |
Raptors/Bucks over The ‘over’ is on a 3-1 run in this series and Thursday’s total opened as high as 219 but is now sitting at 216.5 as of Thursday morning. Milwaukee has averaged 114.7 PPG at the Fiserv Forum in seven games. Over is 5-0 in Raptors last 5 games playing on 1 days rest. Over is 7-1 in Bucks last 8 games playing on 1 days rest. Over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings. Take over the total in game five.

05-23-19 | Raptors v. Bucks -7 | Top | 105-99 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 15 m | Show |
Bucks The Toronto Raptors have rallied back to knot the Eastern Conference finals at 2-2 entering Thursday's Game 5 against the host Milwaukee Bucks. Toronto averaged 119 points in back-to-back triumphs on its homecourt, including an impressive 120-102 victory in Tuesday's Game 4. Star small forward Kawhi Leonard topped 30 points in each of the first three games of the series but had just 19 in Game 4 while often appearing to be hindered by a left leg injury. Milwaukee star PF Giannis Antetokounmpo had 25 points and 10 rebounds in Game 4 for his fourth straight double-double. Milwaukee led the league in point differential this season and have managed to cover all 10 times it has walked off the floor a winner in these playoffs. Raptors are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Bucks are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. Bucks get the cover here at home. |
|||||||
05-21-19 | Bucks -3 v. Raptors | Top | 102-120 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 10 m | Show |
Bucks The Toronto Raptors look to tie the Eastern Conference finals at 2-2 when they host the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4 on Tuesday. The Raptors ensured this would be a competitive series by recording a 118-112 double-overtime victory in Sunday's Game 3. Leonard was assigned to defend Bucks star power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had just 12 points on 5-of-16 shooting and committed eight turnovers before fouling out. I look for him to have a much better game tonight. Bucks SF Khris Middleton (10.7 average in the series) and PG Eric Bledsoe (9.3) each were just 3-of-16 shooting in Game 3. They will both shoot better here in game four. Back the Bucks on the road. |
|||||||
05-19-19 | Bucks +118 v. Raptors | Top | 112-118 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 8 m | Show |
Bucks The Milwaukee Bucks had their way with the Toronto Raptors in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals, grabbing a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series behind superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and a standout bench. The Toronto Raptors will try to get back into the series at home when they host Game 3 on Sunday. Antetokounmpo sandwiched a block between a pair of dunks to start Game 2 and finished with 30 points and 17 rebounds as Milwaukee jumped out to a big lead and cruised to a 125-103 victory. The Raptors fell behind by 25 at the half and never got back into the game but coach Nick Nurse isn't looking to make any huge changes heading into Game 3. All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry scored 30 points on 10-of-15 shooting in Game 1 but slumped to 15 on 4-of-13 in Game 2. Milwaukee is 4-0 on the road in the postseason and like them to get the outright win here in game three. |
|||||||
05-18-19 | Warriors v. Blazers OVER 221 | Top | 110-99 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 13 m | Show |
Warriors/Blazers over Look for a similar game here as game two with both teams shooting the ball well. Portland has watched the ‘over’ go 4-2 at home in the playoffs and it’s averaging 117.8 points per game. Golden State’s offense is averaging 120.1 PPG in six away games this postseason, helping the ‘over’ go 5-1. Over is 20-8 in the last 28 meetings and is 13-3 in the last 16 meetings in Portland. Take over the total. |
|||||||
05-18-19 | Warriors +2.5 v. Blazers | Top | 110-99 | Win | 100 | 9 h 13 m | Show |
Warriors The Golden State Warriors protected homecourt advantage despite one of their stars sitting out the first two games of the Western Conference finals and don't expect to get Kevin Durant (calf) back when the series shifts. The Portland Trail Blazers will try to get back into the series and avoid a 3-0 hole when they host the Warriors in Game 3 on Saturday. Golden State breezed to a 116-94 win in Game 1 but needed 37 points from Stephen Curry to help pull out of a 17-point hole in Game 2 and escape with a 114-111 victory. Curry and Klay Thompson are being asked to step up with Durant out of the lineup for at least two more games and combined to average 61.5 points in the first two games. Curry and Thompson outplayed Portland's star backcourt of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, who combined to go 15-of-39 from the floor in Game 2. Warriors are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS loss. Trail Blazers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win. Take the points with Golden State. |
|||||||
05-17-19 | Raptors v. Bucks -6.5 | Top | 103-125 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show |
Bucks The top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks rallied to win the series opener and shoot to make it two straight wins over the visiting Toronto Raptors in Friday's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals. The second-seeded Raptors led by seven after three quarters in Game 1 before being outscored 32-17 over the final 12 minutes as the Bucks recovered for a 108-100 home spread victory. Milwaukee scored the final 10 points of Wednesday's contest and ramped up its defense down the stretch by preventing Toronto from making any of its last eight field-goal attempts. Center Brook Lopez was superb with 29 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots in Game 1 after averaging just 5.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in the five-game conference semifinals against the Boston Celtics. Lopez scored 13 of his career playoff-high output in the fourth quarter and he got back to playing a key role for Milwaukee. Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Bucks are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Raptors are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings. Lay the points again with the Bucks at home. |

05-16-19 | Blazers v. Warriors -7 | Top | 111-114 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 41 m | Show |
Warriors Stephen Curry was a dominating force in the series opener and the star point guard looks to follow up his strong outing when the Golden State Warriors host the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals on Thursday. Curry matched his postseason career high of nine 3-pointers and scored 36 points as the Warriors rolled to a 116-94 home win on Tuesday. In addition to shoring up their defense, Portland also needs to work on trimming down its turnovers (21 in Game 1) and improve its 3-point shooting (7-for-28). Shooting guard Klay Thompson added 26 points in the opener as Golden State played loose despite not having a cog like Durant on the floor. The Warriors were 17-of-33 from 3-point range in Game 1. Lay the points with the Warriors in game two. |
|||||||
05-15-19 | Raptors v. Bucks -6 | Top | 100-108 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show |
Bucks Two of the best players in the league begin pursuit of an NBA Finals berth when the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks host the second-seeded Toronto Raptors in Wednesday's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. Leading MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo has dominated while helping Milwaukee get to the East finals, while Toronto's Kawhi Leonard is again a playoff star and made the decisive basket as time expired in the conference semifinals against the Philadelphia 76ers. Milwaukee's four second-round victories over the Boston Celtics were by an average of 16.3 points and seven of its eight postseason wins have been by 10 or more points. The Bucks are 8-1 ATS in the playoffs. Their average scoring margin of victory in the postseason has been over 15 points per game and an incredible plus-20.5 ppg in their eight wins. Lay the points with the Bucks in game one. |
|||||||
05-14-19 | Blazers +7.5 v. Warriors | Top | 94-116 | Loss | -106 | 9 h 26 m | Show |
Blazers The Portland Trail Blazers outlasted the Denver Nuggets in seven games in the Western Conference finals to reach the conference finals for the first time since 2000. The Trail Blazers' reward is a date with the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors, who got a few extra days to rest after knocking off the Houston Rockets in six games. All-Star point guard Damian Lillard, who clinched the first-round series win over Oklahoma City with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, went 3-of-17 from the floor on Sunday but contributed 10 rebounds and eight assists while shifting the focus of the offense to McCollum. McCollum, who averaged 32 points in the four wins over the Nuggets, went 17-of-29 from the floor in the decisive win. Golden State can point to a similar relationship between the stars in its backcourt after watching Thompson carry the team in the first half of Game 6 before Curry took over down the stretch. Warriors are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win. Trail Blazers are 27-12 ATS in their last 39 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game. Game One plays out as a close one. Take Portland plus the points. |
|||||||
05-10-19 | Warriors v. Rockets -7 | Top | 118-113 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 17 m | Show |
Rockets The Golden State Warriors own the lead in the Western Conference semifinals over the Houston Rockets, but they are about to take the court as the biggest underdog they have been during their championship run. The Warriors will try to overcome the odds and take the series without superstar Kevin Durant when they visit the Houston Rockets for Game 6 on Friday. Durant left Game 5 in the third quarter on Wednesday and was diagnosed on Thursday with a mild calf strain following an MRI, and he will not make the trip to Houston. The Rockets failed to take advantage of Durant being out of the lineup down the stretch on Wednesday and suffered a 104-99 setback, leaving them one loss away from another disappointing playoff exit. Warriors are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Conference Semifinals games. Rockets are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 home games. Lay the inflated number with the Rockets. |
|||||||
05-09-19 | Raptors -2 v. 76ers | Top | 101-112 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 15 m | Show |
Raptors The Toronto Raptors attempt to advance to the Eastern Conference finals for the second time in four seasons when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers for Thursday's Game 6 of the conference semifinals. Toronto annihilated the 76ers 125-89 in Game 5 to take a 3-2 series lead and the 36-point margin was the largest in the Raptors' postseason history. Toronto star small forward Kawhi Leonard averaged 38 points over the first four games but only needed to contribute 21 points and 13 rebounds with Game 5 totally under control. Philadelphia center Joel Embiid (knee, illness) continues to labor and had just 13 points in Game 5, but among the team's problems were 19 turnovers that led to 31 Toronto points. Embiid is averaging just 17 points and 7.6 rebounds in the series. Power forward Pascal Siakam posted his fourth 20-point outing of the series when he tallied 25 points in the Game 5 win. Siakam was passive in Game 4 as he dealt with a calf injury and was limited to nine points on 2-of-10 shooting but was back to his high level of energy during Tuesday's victory. Raptors are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 1 days rest and are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games. 76ers are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Conference Semifinals games. Raptors are 28-13-2 ATS in the last 43 meetings in Philadelphia and I look for them to close out the series tonight.

Rockets/Warriors over If the Rockets have a punchers chance in this game they will have to lay the 3 ball with some consistence, which I believe they will. Over is 5-1-1 in Rockets last 7 vs. NBA Pacific and is 3-1-1 in Rockets last 5 Conference Semifinals games. Over is 4-0-1 in Warriors last 5 games following a ATS loss and is 7-1 in Warriors last 8 Wednesday games. Look for both teams to be on their shooting game tonight. Take over the total.

05-08-19 | Rockets +6 v. Warriors | Top | 99-104 | Win | 100 | 9 h 29 m | Show |
Rockets The Houston Rockets have the momentum but they still have to figure out a way to win a game in the Golden State Warriors' venue. Visiting Houston won the past two games to knot the Western Conference semifinals at 2-2 entering the pivotal Game 5 matchup but the Warriors are the home club for two of the final three games. The Warriors won the first two games on their home floor but the outlook has changed after the two setbacks in Houston. Houston has knocked down 66 3-pointers in the series -- 26 more than the Warriors -- and that differential is a key reason why the Rockets feel like they can win the series. Star guard James Harden has drained 18 3-pointers while averaging 35.8 points but the play of shooting guard Eric Gordon has also been key as the veteran has made 16 3-pointers while averaging 23 points. Splash Brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are hearing more clanks than usual as they struggle throughout the series -- Curry is 12-of-46 from 3-point range in the series and Thompson is just 8-of-26. Warriors are 11-23-1 ATS in their last 35 home games. Take the Rockets plus the points. |
|||||||
05-08-19 | Celtics v. Bucks -8.5 | Top | 91-116 | Win | 100 | 7 h 55 m | Show |
Bucks The Milwaukee Bucks looks to claim a berth in the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since 2001 when they host the Boston Celtics on Wednesday in Game 5 of the conference semifinals. The Bucks haven't lost three straight games all season, which only makes Boston's comeback task tougher. Bucks MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo is clearly the best player on the floor and he had 39 points and 16 rebounds in Game 4 and is averaging 30.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in the series. Another loss could be the final game in a Boston uniform for Irving, who is set to become a free agent after the season and isn't displaying any sign that he would welcome a return. Celtics are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Bucks are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win. I see Boston folding in the 2nd half as the Bucks get the win and cover. |
|||||||
05-07-19 | 76ers v. Raptors -6 | Top | 89-125 | Win | 100 | 9 h 36 m | Show |
Raptors The Philadelphia 76ers finally broke through in Toronto earlier in the Eastern Conference semifinals and will have to beat the Raptors in Canada at least one more time to win the series. Toronto tied it up at 2-2 with a solid 101-96 victory in Game 4 and hosts two of the final three games, including Tuesday's Game 5. Raptors star small forward Kawhi Leonard made five 3-point baskets while pouring in 39 points in Sunday's triumph and he has been unstoppable by averaging 38 points in the series with four straight 30-point efforts. Philadelphia's win in Toronto in Game 2 ended a 14-game road losing streak in the series but the biggest factor in terms of doing it again may be the health of center Joel Embiid (illness in addition to a sore left knee). 76ers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Conference Semifinals games. Raptors are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 1 days rest. 76ers are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Toronto. Lay the number with the Raptors. |
|||||||
05-06-19 | Warriors v. Rockets -112 | Top | 108-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 12 m | Show |
Rockets The Houston Rockets outplayed the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 and barely escaped with the win, giving themselves a chance to tie the Western Conference semifinal series at two wins apiece when they host Game 4 on Monday. James Harden stepped up down the stretch to lead the Rockets to a 126-121 overtime victory in Game 3 on Saturday. Harden finished with 41 points and led the charge as Houston scored 52 points in the paint and dominated the interior. Kevin Durant scored 46 points to keep the Warriors in the game, but Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson struggled from the floor. Curry suffered a dislocated finger in Game 2 and is shooting 35.3 percent from the floor in the series and is 8-of-32 from beyond the arc. Houston SG Eric Gordon scored a postseason career-high 30 points in Game 3. Warriors are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Conference Semifinals games and are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings. Rockets are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 home games. The Rockets tie up the series with a win in Houston. |

05-06-19 | Bucks v. Celtics -1.5 | Top | 113-101 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 39 m | Show |
Celtics The Milwaukee Bucks insisted after a lopsided loss in Game 1 that they didn't need to make any drastic changes and just needed to increase the aggressiveness and execution, and it turned out they were right. The Bucks will try to take a 3-1 lead in the series when they visit the Boston Celtics for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Monday. The Celtics were not so fond of the way the game was being called and voiced their displease after the 123-116 setback, which dropped Boston to 12-2 at home in the last two postseasons. Irving scored 26 points on 12-of-21 shooting in a 112-90 win in Game 1 but went a combined 12-of-40 from the floor in Games 2 and 3, including 3-of-13 from 3-point range. I’m looking for him to have a big game here tonight. Celtics are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 Conference Semifinals games. Bucks are 5-11 ATS in the last 16 meetings. Take Boston to tie up the series tonight |

05-05-19 | Raptors +3 v. 76ers | Top | 101-96 | Win | 100 | 3 h 23 m | Show |
Raptors The Philadelphia 76ers dropped the first game of the Eastern Conference semifinals but have since taken control and have an opportunity to open a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series when they host the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. The 76ers rolled to a 116-95 victory in their first home game of the series on Thursday after stealing homecourt advantage with a 94-89 triumph at Toronto in Game 2. The Raptors held opponents under 100 points in six straight playoff games - winning the first five - before letting up on that end Thursday. All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry is shooting 36.1 percent from the floor in the series and slumped to seven points on 2-of-10 from the floor in Thursday's loss. I’m looking for him to step up today in Philadelphia. Raptors are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. 76ers are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points. Raptors are 27-13-2 ATS in the last 42 meetings in Philadelphia and I’ll back them here in Game Four. |

05-03-19 | Bucks v. Celtics -124 | Top | 123-116 | Loss | -124 | 8 h 50 m | Show |
Celtics The Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics have traded blowout victories in the Eastern Conference semifinals as the scene switches to Boston for Friday's Game 3. The Celtics posted a resounding 112-90 road victory in Game 1 before the Bucks recovered to deliver a 123-102 thumping in Game 2. Milwaukee drained a franchise playoff-record 20 3-pointers in Game 2 with All-Star small forward Khris Middleton making seven while scoring 28 points. They will not shoot that weel on 3’s here in Boston. The Celtics would like to receive a better contribution from small forward Jayson Tatum, who is averaging just 4.5 points on 4-of-17 shooting in the series. Celtics are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Conference Semifinals games and I’ll back them here in game three. Bucks are 1-6 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Boston. |

05-01-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets -4 | Top | 97-90 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 9 m | Show |
Nuggets Nikola Jokic's star continues to shine this postseason and the Denver Nuggets' big man will try to help his team take a 2-0 lead when they host the Portland Trail Blazers in Wednesday's Western Conference semifinals. The All-Star center was splendid all around with 37 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocked shots to lead Denver to 121-113 victory in Game 1. Jokic has topped 20 points in six of eight playoff games, including a 43-point effort during the first-round series against the San Antonio Spurs. Despite the victory, Denver allowed 29 or more points in three of the four quarters and that didn't sit well with coach Michael Malone. He will have his defense playing better tonight. Denver Point guard Jamal Murray committed just one turnover while registering 23 points and eight assists and he has scored at least 23 in four of the past five postseason games. Trail Blazers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Nuggets are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 Conference Semifinals games. Trail Blazers are 1-6-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings. I’m backing Denver again here in game two. |

04-30-19 | Rockets +5.5 v. Warriors | Top | 109-115 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 23 m | Show |
Rockets The Golden State Warriors struck first in the Western Conference semifinals against Houston, but the Rockets came away feeling like they didn't get a fair chance. The Rockets will try to take the game out of the hands of the referees and even the series at one win apiece when they visit the Warriors for Game 2 on Tuesday. Golden State, which escaped Houston in seven games in the Western Conference finals last season, leaned on forward Kevin Durant, who scored 35 points and made several key baskets down the stretch to help hold off the Rockets. Harden ended up 13-of-14 from the free-throw lineup and scored 35 points but was 9-of-28 from the floor and 4-of-16 from beyond the arc with several of those misses coming before or after contact with a defender. Look for him to improve on that shooting tonight. Curry battled foul trouble in the second half and joined fellow All-Star guard Klay Thompson with an ankle injury that left both questionable before the game, but Durant was ready to pick up the slack. The Warriors committed 20 turnovers in Game 1, leading to 20 points. Feeling here is the Rockets come out fighting and this game two goes down to the wire. Take the points. Rockets are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. Warriors are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games following a straight up win. |

04-30-19 | Celtics v. Bucks UNDER 219.5 | Top | 102-123 | Loss | -107 | 7 h 50 m | Show |
Celtics/Bucks under Bucks shot just 34.8 percent from the field in game one while that should improve here I still don’t see the Buck going off on the Boston defense. I also look for the Buck to step it up a bit on defense. Under is 8-1 in Celtics last 9 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Under is 7-3 in Bucks last 10 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Go under the posted total here in game two. |
|||||||
04-30-19 | Celtics +7.5 v. Bucks | Top | 102-123 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 50 m | Show |
Celtics The Boston Celtics delivered a stunning performance in the opener of the Eastern Conference semifinals and look to make it two straight wins over the host Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. Fourth-seeded Boston frustrated Milwaukee MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo and received a stellar performance from Al Horford while posting a commanding 112-90 victory in Game 1. The top-seeded Bucks shot just 34.8 percent from the field and looked nothing like the offensive juggernauts that averaged 121.8 points during the four-game, first-round sweep of the Detroit Pistons. Star forward Khris Middeton contributed 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists but the other three starters combined for just 12 points on 3-of-17 shooting. Celtics are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 Conference Semifinals games. Bucks are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Conference Semifinals games. I look for a tight game with the Bucks pulling it out but take Boston plus the large number. |

04-29-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets -4 | Top | 113-121 | Win | 100 | 10 h 1 m | Show |
Nuggets The Portland Trail Blazers should be well-rested when they visit the second-seeded Denver Nuggets for Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals on Monday, and are hoping some momentum carried over the long break. The Trail Blazers last played on Tuesday after dispatching the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games while the Nuggets needed all seven to escape the San Antonio Spurs in the first round. The Nuggets proved just how important home-court advantage can be when the home crowd was so loud in the final seconds on Saturday that San Antonio players could not hear their coach calling for a foul. Lillard and backcourt mate CJ McCollum carried the scoring load in the first round, but the team was able to overcome the loss of starting center Jusuf Nurkic thanks to the play of Enes Kanter, who is now dealing with his own injury. Kanter reportedly played through a separated shoulder in the Game 5 win on Tuesday and received treatment all week while practicing on a limited basis. He’ll have a tough time vs. this Denver defense in the series. Even a fully-healthy Kanter would have a difficult time dealing with Jokic, who recorded a triple-double with 21 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists in Game 7 and averaged 23.1 points, 12.1 boards and 9.1 assists in the series. The Trail Blazers are 1-3-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Denver. The Nuggets have won six of the last eight meetings in this series. Nuggets are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. The Nuggets are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 Conference Semifinals games. The Nuggets are 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 vs. the Northwest. Denver gets the win and cover in game one. |

04-28-19 | Rockets +5.5 v. Warriors | Top | 100-104 | Win | 100 | 4 h 54 m | Show |
Rockets The Golden State Warriors barely escaped the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference finals last season and limp into the rematch a round earlier and with plenty of questions to answer. The top-seeded Warriors will try to steal Game 1 and maintain homecourt advantage when they host the Rockets in the semifinals on Sunday. The Rockets have been off since Wednesday after dispatching the Utah Jazz in five games in the first round and are itching for another shot at Golden State after watching Chris Paul go down in Game 5 with a hamstring injury in the 2018 matchup and missing 27 3-pointers in a row during the decisive Game 7. Houston took three of four meetings in the regular season. Rockets are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. Warriors are 10-22-1 ATS in their last 33 home games. Road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings and I like the Rockets to cover game one. |

04-28-19 | Celtics v. Bucks UNDER 223.5 | Top | 112-90 | Win | 100 | 1 h 24 m | Show |
Celtics/Bucks under It took the Boston Celtics seven games to dispatch Milwaukee in the first round of the playoffs last spring, but the 2019 Bucks are a much different team. Top-seeded Milwaukee will have the homecourt advantage and enters as the favorite when it hosts the fourth-seeded Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Sunday. Boston's inconsistent regular season didn't carry over into the first round, when it breezed past the Indiana Pacers in a four-game sweep with their defense being the key. Under is 7-1 in Celtics last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and is 6-2 in Celtics last 8 games playing on 3 or more days rest. Under is 7-3 in Bucks last 10 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Look for game one to be a little slow pace with both teams feeling each other out. Take the under. |
|||||||
04-27-19 | Spurs +6 v. Nuggets | Top | 86-90 | Win | 100 | 10 h 31 m | Show |
Spurs The San Antonio Spurs forced a Game 7 but the Denver Nuggets figure they have the edge because Saturday's decisive game is in their home facility. Denver was an NBA-best 34-7 at home in the regular season and hopes to cash in on earning homecourt advantage for the Western Conference first-round series. The second-seeded Nuggets were unable to clinch on Thursday in San Antonio as they lost 120-103. The seventh-seeded Spurs came through with their backs against the wall and shooting guard DeMar DeRozan said it was due to a more forceful approach. San Antonio is looking to avoid its second straight first-round exit and it staved off elimination in impressive fashion in Game 6 when it shot 57.1 percent from the field and committed just eight turnovers. The Spurs won Game 1 in Denver, 101-96 and they get the cover and could win outright. |
|||||||
04-27-19 | 76ers +6.5 v. Raptors | Top | 95-108 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 57 m | Show |
76ers The Toronto Raptors are willing to ride Kawhi Leonard as far as he can take them as they enter the Eastern Conference second-round series against the visiting Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. The All-Star small forward, who is scheduled to become a free agent after the season, averaged 27.8 points and 6.6 rebounds in the first round against the Orlando Magic. The second-seeded Raptors went 3-1 against the 76ers this season as Leonard averaged 30.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and four steals in three games and now Philadelphia is likely to assign Ben Simmons to be the primary defender while mixing in others. Third-seeded Philadelphia dispatched the Brooklyn Nets in its first-round series and is looking to win multiple playoff series for the first time since losing in the 2001 NBA Finals. Toronto has lost in the second round in each of the past two seasons after reaching the Eastern Conference finals in 2016. The Raptors are just 2-14 in Game 1s and dropped the opener in the Orlando series. Take Philadelphia to cover game one. |
|||||||
04-26-19 | Warriors -9.5 v. Clippers | Top | 129-110 | Win | 100 | 10 h 36 m | Show |
Warriors The Golden State Warriors got caught looking ahead to the Western Conference semifinals, and the Los Angeles Clippers made them pay. The Warriors will try to keep their focus on the present and close out the eighth-seeded Clippers when they visit Los Angeles for Game 6 on Friday. The Clippers never lost confidence after going down 3-1 and were led by sixth man Lou Williams, who collected 33 points in the victory. Durant scored a playoff career-high 45 points on Wednesday and Stephen Curry added 24 but Golden State allowed the Clippers to shoot 54.1 percent from the floor and score 104 points through the first three quarters. Look for their defensive effort to be at a high level tonight. Warriors are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up loss. Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. Lay it with the Warriors. |
|||||||
04-24-19 | Jazz v. Rockets -8 | Top | 93-100 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 25 m | Show |
Rockets Donovan Mitchell kept the Utah Jazz alive and now the star shooting guard looks to lead his club to a second straight win when they face the host Houston Rockets on Wednesday in Game 5 of the Western Conference first-round series. Mitchell scored 19 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter of Game 4 as Utah avoided being swept in four games. The fourth-seeded Rockets had a chance to conclude the series but they went 4-of-20 shooting and committed six turnovers in the fourth quarter of Game 4. Center Clint Capela is struggling with two respiratory illnesses, one causing his eyes to be severely bloodshot. The health issues badly affected his play in Game 4 as he had just four points on 1-of-6 shooting and collected seven rebounds after averaging 11.3 points and 12 rebounds over the first three games. Jazz are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Conference Quarterfinals games. Rockets are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. Jazz are 1-4-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings. Lay it with the Rockets to close out the series. |
|||||||
04-23-19 | Thunder v. Blazers -4 | Top | 115-118 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 18 m | Show |
Blazers The Portland Trail Blazers are on the verge of reaching the Western Conference semifinals after taking a 3-1 series lead over the sixth-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder and can clinch the series when they host Game 5 on Tuesday. The Trail Blazers dropped Game 3 in Oklahoma City but rebounded with a 111-98 triumph in Game 4 as CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard continued to control the game from the backcourt. Oklahoma City shot 37.5 percent from the floor on Sunday and is looking for more out of the complimentary players. Westbrook was 5-of-21 from the floor in Game 4, including 0-of-10 in the second half, while George struggled to 8-of-21. Thunder are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 vs. Western Conference. Trail Blazers are 43-21-1 ATS in their last 65 home games. Thunder are 2-6 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Portland. Look for Portland to close out the series. |

Over is 27-11-1 in Spurs last 39 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. 04-23-19 | Spurs +5.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 90-108 | Loss | -102 | 10 h 7 m | Show |
Spurs The Denver Nuggets look to follow up a strong performance when they host the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the Western Conference first-round series on Tuesday. The second-seeded Nuggets forged a 2-2 tie in the matchup when they made 15 3-pointers in Saturday's 117-103 road win over the Spurs. All-Star center Nikola Jokic had 29 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in Game 4 and point guard Jamal Murray was in solid form with 24 points and six assists. Point guard Derrick White had his first subpar outing of the series in Game 4 as he scored just eight points on 3-of-8 shooting after averaging 23 points on 29-of-42 over the first three contests. He will have a better game tonight. Spurs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a double-digit loss at home. Nuggets are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 Conference Quarterfinals games. Take the points with the Spurs |
|||||||
04-22-19 | Rockets -2.5 v. Jazz | Top | 91-107 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 14 m | Show |
Rockets The Utah Jazz did about as well as any team can possibly do defensively against James Harden in Game 3 and still couldn't come away with a victory. The Jazz will try to avoid a four-game sweep of the Western Conference series when they host Harden and the fourth-seeded Houston Rockets in Game 4 on Monday. Utah only held a slim advantage for most of the first three quarters despite Harden's off night and realize it missed an opportunity. Chris Paul scored 18 points, Clint Capela recorded a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds and P.J. Tucker scored the last of his 12 points at the free-throw line to seal the win on Saturday. Look for the Rockets to get the sweep. Rockets are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 vs. Western Conference. Jazz are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 Conference Quarterfinals games. |
|||||||
04-21-19 | Celtics -3 v. Pacers | Top | 110-106 | Win | 100 | 1 h 25 m | Show |
Celtics The Boston Celtics are controlling matters on both ends of the floor against the Indiana Pacers and can become the first NBA team to advance to the second round of the playoffs when the teams play Game 4 of their best-of-seven series Sunday in Indianapolis. The fourth-seeded Celtics have held the Pacers to an average of 87 points while racing to a 3-0 series lead, gaining a stranglehold on fifth-seeded Indiana with a 104-96 road win Friday night. Jaylen Brown, who is starting at shooting guard with Marcus Smart (oblique) sidelined, scored 23 points while making 8-of-9 shots -- 4-of-5 from 3-point range -- on Friday. Tyreke Evans led seven players in double figures with 19 points for the Pacers, who fell victim to another bad quarter by losing the third by a 21-12 margin. No team in NBA history has ever won a series after falling behind 3-0, and Indiana is just about reduced to playing for pride at this point. I don’t see a good effort now by the Pacers. Take Boston on the road. |
|||||||
04-18-19 | Nuggets v. Spurs -4 | Top | 108-118 | Win | 100 | 9 h 52 m | Show |
Spurs The San Antonio Spurs have won 13 straight home games against Denver so they are in a good position heading into Thursday's Game 3 of the Western Conference first-round series against the visiting Nuggets. The Spurs split two games in Denver and now will look to continue their longstanding home dominance against the Nuggets. The collapse rates as a big missed opportunity for the Spurs, considering how they haven't lost to the Nuggets in San Antonio since March 4, 2012. Coach Pops will have the Spurs ready to bounce back tonight. DeRozan poured in 31 points, power forward LaMarcus Aldridge added 24 and point guard Derrick White had 17 points in Game 2 but nobody else on the squad reached double digits. Nuggets are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 Conference Quarterfinals games. Spurs are 15-6-1 ATS in their last 22 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Favorite is 11-5 ATS in the last 16 meetings. Take the Spurs.

04-18-19 | 76ers -3 v. Nets | Top | 131-115 | Win | 100 | 8 h 50 m | Show |
76ers After a sluggish series opener, the Philadelphia 76ers looked unbeatable during many stretches in Game 2 against the Brooklyn Nets. The Sixers will try to build some momentum off that impressive win while stealing back homecourt advantage when they visit the Nets for Game 3 of their Eastern Conference best-of-seven series Thursday night. Embiid is averaging 22.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in just 22.5 minutes in the series as he continues to play through a sore knee, and Philadelphia is getting a nice boost from backup center Boban Marjanovic, who produced 16 points and eight rebounds in 18 minutes Monday. Nets Center Jarrett Allen also struggled to nine points in 23 minutes while having his issues defending Embiid, an issue made more glaring when fellow big man Ed Davis hampered by a sprained ankle and foul trouble. Philadelphia has outrebounded Brooklyn 99-77 in the series. 76ers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Conference Quarterfinals games and I’ll back them here in game three. |
|||||||
04-16-19 | Thunder +1.5 v. Blazers | Top | 94-114 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 5 m | Show |
Thunder The Portland Trail Blazers snapped a 10-game playoff losing streak in taking Game 1 from the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, but they're not getting overly excited about one victory. The third-seeded Trail Blazers will try to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven Western Conference first-round series when they host the sixth-seeded Thunder on Tuesday. Oklahoma City fell behind by as many as 19 points before battling back on Sunday and is not getting down about dropping Game 1. "It's a series, the first to four. They won the first game," Thunder All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook told reporters. "That's a part of the series, make adjustments, come back, play harder the next game and try to take care of business." ABOUT THE THUNDER: Westbrook recorded his customary triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists on Sunday and Paul George added 26 points and 10 boards but Oklahoma City went 5-of-33 from beyond the arc. I’ll look for that to improve in game two. ABOUT THE TRAIL BLAZERS: Portland was counted out as a threat in the West when center Jusuf Nurkic went down with a season-ending broken leg late last month but Enes Kanter is stepping up in his absence, even on the defensive end. Known as a sub-par defender in the middle, Kanter, who finished with 20 points and 18 rebounds on Sunday, drew raves for his work on that end Sunday. Thunder are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss. Trail Blazers are 8-24-2 ATS in their last 34 Conference Quarterfinals games. Thunder are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. Back OKC with the points. |

04-16-19 | Spurs +7 v. Nuggets | Top | 105-114 | Loss | -103 | 8 h 30 m | Show |
Spurs The San Antonio Spurs have stolen homecourt advantage away from Denver and look to take a 2-0 lead when they visit the Nuggets on Tuesday. Second-seeded Denver struggled down the stretch of Game 1 and the seventh-seeded Spurs were happy to take advantage and notch the victory. ABOUT THE SPURS: White grew up in the Denver area and completed his college career at Colorado and he definitely had a stellar homecoming with 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting and five assists in his first playoff start. All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge was just 6-of-19 shooting while contributing 15 points and eight rebounds in Game 1. He will have a much better game tonight. ABOUT THE NUGGETS: Murray, who had 17 points and six steals, insisted that he will bounce back in Game 2 after being just 8-of-24 shooting, including that dreadful wide-open miss that might have been the difference between winning and losing. The Nuggets are 6-21 all-time in the playoffs against the Spurs after the Game 1 loss. Spurs are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 road games. Nuggets are 0-8 ATS in their last 8 Conference Quarterfinals games. Spurs are 22-8 ATS in the last 30 meetings in Denver. Take the points again with the Spurs. |

04-16-19 | Magic +10.5 v. Raptors | Top | 82-111 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 34 m | Show |
Magic The Orlando Magic posted a stunning upset in the series opener behind an unlikely hero and now look to take a 2-0 lead when they visit the second-seeded Toronto Raptors on Tuesday. Veteran point guard D.J. Augustin drained the winning 3-pointer with 3.4 seconds left in Game 1 as seventh-seeded Orlando recorded a 104-101 win in the Eastern Conference first-round matchup. ABOUT THE MAGIC: The 31-year-old Augustin was 9-of-13 shooting - including 4-of-5 from 3-point range - while pouring in 25 points in the opener. Augustin topped that output just twice in the regular season - both times in the last week of December - but nonetheless he was ready, willing and able to take the crucial shot and could see it was on target. ABOUT THE RAPTORS: Toronto is used to facing pivotal games as it dropped to 2-14 in Game 1s in its playoff history and will play hard to get the win, but back the points with Orlando. Magic are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and are 16-4-1 ATS in their last 21 vs. NBA Atlantic. Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Magic are 5-1-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings. |

04-15-19 | Nets +8 v. 76ers | Top | 123-145 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 14 m | Show |
Nets The Brooklyn Nets' guard play proved to be too much in Game 1 of their first-round matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers, who hope to avoid falling into a 2-0 series hole when the teams meet Monday night. Guards D'Angelo Russell, Caris LeVert and Spencer Dinwiddie combined for 67 points to lead the sixth-seeded Nets to a 111-102 victory in the best-of-seven series opener Saturday, seizing homecourt advantage away from the No. 3 seed. The 76ers saw Jimmy Butler score 36 points and Joel Embiid add 22 and 15 rebounds in his return from a knee issue but they were 3-of-25 from beyond the arc and heard plenty of boos in a game they trailed by as many as 16. LeVert paced a 59-point attack for the Brooklyn bench in Game 1 by hitting all three of his 3-pointers in 23 very productive minutes, putting forth a memorable playoff debut roughly two months into his return from a dislocated foot. Brooklyn made 24-of-26 free throws in Game 1. Philadelphia was 29-of-42. Nets are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Nets are also 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Conference Quarterfinals games. 76ers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game. Nets are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Philadelphia and I’ll back them plus the points here in game two. |
|||||||
04-14-19 | Thunder +3.5 v. Blazers | Top | 99-104 | Loss | -106 | 4 h 4 m | Show |
Thunder Star point guards Russell Westbrook and Damian Lillard will wage a heavy battle as the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the host Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday in Game 1 of the Western Conference first-round series. Lillard's Trail Blazers made a late surge to grab the No. 3 seed in the West while Westbrook and the Thunder are the No. 6 seed after winning their final five regular-season contests. Thunder All-Star forward Paul George is struggling with right shoulder soreness but insists that he will play in the opener. Portland will rely on center Enes Kanter to combat Oklahoma City's Steven Adams - his former Thunder teammate - as it attempts to minimize not having bulky big man Jusuf Nurkic (broken leg). George was superb against Portland in the regular season with averages of 38 points and 10.5 rebounds and said the postseason is no time to sit with an injury. The health of Portland shooting guard CJ McCollum will be observed closely after he missed 10 games late in the season with a knee injury and didn't fare well upon his return. McCollum averaged 10 points and made just 8-of-26 field-goal attempts -- 2-of-11 from 3-point range -- in two games before being rested in the season finale. The Thunder went 4-0 against the Trail Blazers this season with an average winning margin of seven points. Thunder are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game. Trail Blazers are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Grab the Thunder plus the small number. |

04-13-19 | Spurs +6 v. Nuggets | Top | 101-96 | Win | 100 | 10 h 23 m | Show |
Spurs The San Antonio Spurs are playoff regulars but the postseason represents new ground for this group of Denver Nuggets. The second-seeded Nuggets are ending a five-season playoff drought when they host the Spurs in Saturday's opener of the Western Conference first-round series. Seventh-seeded San Antonio is part of the postseason for the 22nd consecutive season - the longest streak among the four major North American sports - and enters with momentum after winning its last three games and six of its past nine. The Spurs will certainly rely heavily on All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who averaged 22.3 points and shot 55.7 percent from the field in four games against Denver this season. Spurs are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Nuggets are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 Conference Quarterfinals games. The Spurs with the points are the play. |
|||||||
04-05-19 | Heat -3 v. Wolves | Top | 109-111 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 29 m | Show |
Heat The Miami Heat cannot afford to lose as they attempt to jump back into the top eight in the Eastern Conference and lock up a spot in the postseason. The Heat will try to bounce back from consecutive losses when they open a two-game trip by visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. Wade could be down to the final four games of his Hall of Fame career if Miami misses the postseason, and he is coming to the end strong while averaging 17.2 points over the last six contests. Heat SG Dion Waiters is averaging 20.8 points over his last six games. The road team took the last three in the series. Heat are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss. Timberwolves are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 vs. Eastern Conference. Heat are 12-4-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings. Miami gets the much needed victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. |

04-05-19 | Hawks v. Magic -9 | Top | 113-149 | Win | 100 | 6 h 28 m | Show |
Magic The Orlando Magic sit on the verge of their first playoff berth in seven seasons, but the margin for error is thin entering the final three games, starting with Friday’s home contest against the Atlanta Hawks. In Steve Clifford’s first season as head coach, the Magic have won eight in a row at home after Wednesday’s 114-100 win over New York, jumping into a tie with Brooklyn for seventh in the Eastern Conference and one-half game ahead of ninth-place Miami. Orlando has turned around its season since Jan. 31, going 19-9 since with winning streaks of five games and six games in that stretch. The Magic have won 12 of their past 13 home games, and their 24 homecourt victories is the franchise’s most since 2010-11. Magic are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games. Lay it with the Magic at home. |
|||||||
04-03-19 | Spurs v. Nuggets -5 | Top | 85-113 | Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show |
Nuggets The Denver Nuggets surely saw their chances at earning the No. 1 seed evaporate and will now concentrate on protecting the No. 2 spot when they host the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. Denver suffered a disappointing 116-102 setback at Golden State on Tuesday when a win would have moved it into a first-place tie. San Antonio fell to 0-4 ATS the last four games, although the last three ATS defeats came when laying 10 points or more. This series has been owned by the home team since January 2017 as the Nuggets have won the last three matchups at Pepsi Center. The Spurs are 2-1 against the Nuggets this season but have lost three straight in Denver. Take the Nuggets at home. |

Now, Boston travels to Miami to face the Heat, as the Celtics were crushed in their last visit to Miami in early January, 115-99. Miami has covered all three meetings with Boston this season and is 7-1 ATS in the past eight matchups since December 2016. The Heat have won six straight games after a loss with the streak starting in late February. The Heat are currently on a 7-3 run at the AAA, but two of those losses have come to upper-tier Eastern Conference foes Milwaukee and Toronto. The home team has won each of the first three meetings. Toronto is tuning up for the postseason with wins in its last four games and is managing to still find the win column without extending any of its players. The home team took each of the first three meetings, with Brooklyn edging Toronto 106-105 in overtime at home on Dec. 7. Look for Toronto to not have much interest in this game. Back the Nets. |

The Rockets have won 16 of their last 19 games as they battle the Portland Trail Blazers for the third seed in the Western Conference while Sacramento will miss the playoffs for the 13th straight season. 03-29-19 | Pacers v. Celtics -6.5 | Top | 112-114 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 15 m | Show |
Celtics The Boston Celtics' best hope of remaining in the running for homecourt advantage in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs is by earning a win over the visiting Indiana Pacers on Friday. The Pacers currently occupy the No. 4 spot in the East and would host the fifth-place Celtics in a first-round series if the season ended Friday. The Pacers looked like they were on their way to a second consecutive win on Wednesday before allowing the Oklahoma City Thunder to go on a 24-0 run in the third quarter of a 107-99 loss. Indiana had a chance to put the No. 4 seed out of reach while Boston was struggling but instead dropped five of its last six games. The teams split the first two meetings with Boston crushing Indiana 135-108 at home on Jan. 9. Pacers are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 road games. Celtics are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 Friday games. Boston gets the much needed win and cover. |

The loss to Milwaukee was just the third in the past 17 games for Houston, which never got untracked offensively and shot 36.4 percent from the field. Look for that to improve tonight. The Rockets won the past five home encounters with the Nuggets. Nuggets are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 1 days rest and are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Rockets are 4-1-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss. Nuggets are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings. Rockets get back on track with a win and cover. |

The Clippers will go for their sixth straight win and 12th in 13 games when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. os Angeles guard Lou Williams is closing in on another Sixth Man of the Year Award and showed off his clutch abilities while scoring the bulk of his 29 points in the fourth quarter to help put away the Knicks on Sunday. The Clippers' bench is a big reason for the team's success, and power forward Montrezl Harrell joined Williams with 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting in New York. The Hornets dropped 13 of their last 19 but are coming off a 113-106 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. The Pacers already lost their grip on the No. 3 seed in the East and are trying to hold off the Boston Celtics for the No. 4 spot but dropped the first three of the four-game trip at Denver, Portland and the Los Angeles Clippers. Indiana, which returns home to face host the Nuggets on Sunday before road dates at Oklahoma City and Boston next week, will not play a team that is out of contention until visiting Atlanta for the regular-season finale on April 10. Golden State breezed to a 132-100 victory at Indiana on Jan. 28. Lay the big number with the Warriors at home! |

Golden State won the last two games without the services of All-Star forward Kevin Durant, who is day-to-day with an ankle injury. Warriors are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up win and are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 1 days rest. Spurs are 17-4 ATS in their last 21 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Spurs get the big win at home. |

Aldridge and the Spurs are thriving with seven straight victories after he posted 18 points and 11 rebounds in Friday's 109-83 home triumph over New York. Bucks The Milwaukee Bucks remain the class of the Eastern Conference and own the best record in the NBA as they ease their way toward clinching the No. 1 seed and homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs. The Bucks could be getting a look at their first-round opponent when they finish out a three-game road trip by visiting the Miami Heat on Friday. Milwaukee snapped a three-game road slide by breaking out for 45 points in the third quarter and cruising to a 130-113 win at New Orleans on Tuesday. 03-13-19 | Warriors v. Rockets -3.5 | Top | 106-104 | Loss | -103 | 5 h 21 m | Show |
Rockets The Golden State Warriors remain the two-time defending champions and the No. 1 team in the Western Conference, but the monotony of the regular season seems to be getting to the team. The Houston Rockets, who host the Warriors on Wednesday, are the hottest team in the league with wins in nine straight games - a streak that began with a 118-112 victory at Golden State. The Warriors dropped six of their last 10 games and suffered a 115-111 home loss to the West-worst Suns on Sunday, snapping an 18-game winning streak against Phoenix. Golden State can shake off a loss to Phoenix as one bad night in a long regular season, but an injury to All-Star forward Kevin Durant would be tougher to brush aside. Durant, who is averaging 27.4 points on 51.3 percent shooting, went down with an ankle contusion on Monday and is not likely to play. Houston took each of the first three meetings, including a 107-86 home win on Nov. 15. Back the Rockets at home in another big win vs. the Warriors. |
|||||||

Spurs The San Antonio Spurs are trying to stay out of the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference and avoid a potential first-round date with the Golden State Warriors and are surging with wins in five straight games. The Spurs will try to make it six in a row when they visit the in-state rival Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. San Antonio ripped through four playoff contenders over its last five games, including a 121-114 home victory over the NBA-best Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. The Spurs, Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz are all locked in a battle for the final three playoff spots in the West while pulling away from the ninth-place Sacramento Kings, and the three are just 2 1/2 games behind fourth-place Oklahoma City entering play on Monday. The Mavericks aren't concerning themselves with the postseason race but are looking for effort from the young team despite its record, and they nearly pulled off a win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday before falling 94-93. Spurs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win. Mavericks are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. Western Conference. Lay it with the Spurs on the highway. |

The Bulls are on their own upswing and edged the playoff-bound Philadelphia 76ers 108-107 on Wednesday for their sixth victory in nine games vs. mostly weak teams. Detroit took the last five in the series, including two in Chicago. Pistons are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points and are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record.
