4* CALGARY/OTTAWA UNDER the total CFL TOTAL OF THE WEEK...BDS This has been one hotly contested series as the 5 games have been decided in the last three minutes, two concluded with a tie. In week #1 Ottawa upset Calgary 32-28. That just might represent all the changes incurred on both sides of the ball by the units. Still Ottawa has lost three straight games, but they have never lost 4 in a row and will no doubt at home put together a strong defensive showing. We see issues, though, running the football (only 95 yards per game 2019). No doubt Calgary has more balanced club and should at least survive SU. So, we are changing venue tonight looking strongly at the UNDER in the game. Remember Calgary is 5-0 UNDER L5 on the road, while REDBLACKS show 5-1 UNDER L6 in July. Look for a very physical low scoring game tonight. GoodLuck.

4* Hamilton over Toronto Using the money line this afternoon up in Canada. Both clubs play with new defensive oriented head coaches, so the math history may not change. Although SU we do prefer Hamilton considering they have already (1-0) played a game this season. Obviously this is first battle in the CFL for Toronto who finished 4-14 last season, allowing 560 points overall. Hamilton completed an 8-10 record in 2018 holding the opponents to 456 points scoring large at 513 which was #1 in the east. QB Masoli (5,209) had a solid campaign for Hamilton with 28 touchdowns, rushing for 7.5 yards per game on average. He went over 300 yards throwing in three games all versus Toronto. QB Franklin (2,034) is back for Toronto as he threw 8 touchdowns, but cured 9 critical interceptions. He rushed for over 4 yards a carry with 14 touchdowns. Taking in the numerous injuries in the young season for both, we note history where Hamilton is 12-3 ATS in the series, 8-2 ATS at Toronto. The Argos have gone 0-4 ATS L4 Overall and 0-7 ATS against the East. However, we are staying with the money line move considering all issues. Good Luck.

4* HAMILTON/TORONTO UNDER the total Don't miss our money line winner in the same battle right here. Each unit enters with new head coaches bringing a more focused effort on defense. The total opened at 55 and has now slipped down to 52-1/2-53 nationally. The issues observed it's the first game for Toronto, and Hamilton only amassed 232 yards offense last time out. Considering the injury backlog for each, there is a lower scoring game expected than issued in Vegas. The UNDER has been RED HOT in June, as Hamilton shows 21-6 L27 UNDER and Toronto 22-6 L28 UNDER. With strong numbers, we're going UNDER. Good Luck.

3* Hamilton over Ottawa The line has moved around this week, especially considering Ottawa is at home. We know they have generated recent success against the visitor. Still, we see this being one-sided game despite the number indication. Hamilton has superior players on offense and should overcome the emotional home unit. The Tiger-Cats show 5-0 ATS against the East and 10-3-1 ATS in road sets. Ottawa brings a 1-5 ATS record at home, not a good situation. Good Luck.

4* (377) BC over Hamilton @ 7:30 After seeing Calgary fall apart in the 4th quarter last night, it's a little difficult making this call, i.e., RF laying a FG plus, so we're using the money line edition. Calgary (2-1) has the advantage of playing an extra game, but travels to Hamilton to play the 0-2 'Cats in their home opener. Already Hamilton takes a hit before the whistle with defender Hill suspended before the game. It's expected this season BC would be a little more balanced on offense remembering they did win a home playoff game over Calgary. The Lions started by winning B2B road games, then losing at home last week on the last play. Obviously, the 'Cats have yet to win a football game, simply because they are dead last in yards gained per game. And, they historically have had problems stopping the run at home. With that in mind, SU we look for the visitor to survive on the scoreboard. Good Luck.

4* CALGARY (373) over Montreal @ 7:00 Eastern CFL MONEY LINE WINNER...BDS The Alouettes (1-2) take on likely the most talented team in the CFB Calgary (2-0-1) up in Montreal this evening. In the series, the Alouettes won at home last year, the Stampeders returning the compliment on their field. Over the last five meetings, Montreal is 3-2 SU and 5-0 ATS. However, over the last 14 home games, the Alouettes show 3-11 ATS. No doubt, Montreal has the more effective running game and running defense, but potentially Calgary has the more dangerous QB in Mitchell (72/113). In addition, like the MOMENTUM, the Stamps have accrued after scoring 20 straight points to beat WPG 29-10. Good Luck.

5* Ottawa -5-1/2 over Toronto @ 7:00 Eastern Major BEST BET tonight in the CFL with under valued Red Blacks (5-5-1) who are at home laying a depreciated price @ 5-1/2. Realize some systems do point to Ottawa, but see reflective component inside the psychology of the game that projects a major turnaround by the home unit. Granted Ottawa is just 1-3-1 SU at home this season, but so are other Canadian units suffering with home cooking in 2016. In their last battle back with Ottawa in late July, Toronto escaped 23-20. No doubt the Red Blacks have suffered from the injury bug, and that stat is reflected in the current line. However, the home field, emotion and a 6-2 ATS mark versus the East for Ottawa dictates that no only win SU, but cover and erase their 0-5 ATS record at home this season. Good Luck!
