Minnesota at Memphis 9:30 ET

Timberwolves (+) over Grizzlies - Although both of these squads have winning records the past few weeks it looks as though they are willing to fall to the Play-in tournament.  It wasn’t long ago that Memphis was riding high and second to Oklahoma City in the West while Minnesota managed to blow a 24-point lead with 9:44 to play and lost by seven at Milwaukee. the Grizzlies hold a 1-game lead over the T’wolves and can finish as high as 5th if they win their remaining three games. Minny can finish 3rd if they win out and they had a 5-game win streak working when entered Milwaukee. Take MINNESOTA!

Cleveland at Indiana 7:00 ET

Pacers (-) over Cavaliers - This is one of those season ending ‘give a-ways’ like we saw last night with the Magic and Clippers. Line that are so out of whack that you feel compelled to make the sucker bet. Indiana being this big a favorite tells me that Cleveland is locked into their playoff position and will be on cruise control. The Pacers have won their last four games and in the last meeting in Indiana the Cavaliers were 8-point favorites and won by 10 and now they are 9,5-point underdogs, a 17.5-point swing…it is not a mistake. Take INDIANA!

Houston at LA Clippers 10:30 ET

Clippers over Rockets - Houston has defeated the LA Clippers the last four times they have met including three wins this season. The Rockets have covered the past six meetings and the Clippers have not covered a meeting in Los Angeles since January 2023. Both clubs are on the upswing with Houston having won their last three and six of seven while the Clippers have won their last five games and seven of the past eight. The Clippers are 29-11 at home and will cover this inflated number. Take LA CLIPPERS!

LA Lakers at Dallas 7:30 ET

Mavericks (+) over Lakers - Los Angeles just split a pair of contests played in Oklahoma City with the Thunder gaining a measure of revenge by winning the second of the back-to-back games last night. At least the Lakers had a day off before the second match-up whereas tonight it is back-to-back games on consecutive nights. But, the real storyline here is the return for the first time of Luca Doncic returning the Dallas for the first time since being traded by the Mavericks to Los Angeles. Anthony Davis will also be playing for the first time against his former teammates as he sat out injured the last time these two clubs met back in February a 107-99 in LA. Davis has missed 23 games since being sent to Dallas but will be ready tonight. Take DALLAS!

Boston at Orlando 7:00 ET

Magic (-) over Celtics - This is either the biggest ‘sucker’ play in the NBA this season or there is something ‘really, really out of order’ here. Boston who is 40 games over .500 (actually 39) are a large underdog at Orlando to a Magic team that is one-game under .500. Think of this Boston has won their last three and 9-of-10 and eight straight road games while Orlando is fighting for a true playoff berth and not play-in status. The Celtics road record is 33-7 and the Magic are just 21-19 at home and this is their final home game of the season. This ‘price’ is way out of line. This is BOGUS! Take ORLANDO!

Florida vs Houston 8:50 ET

Cougars (+) over Gators - These two No. 1 seeds and the No. 3 and 4 final seeds here with Florida getting the NCAA’s edge. Each of these clubs has won 35 of 39 games with the Gators going an amazing 28-11 ATS while playing through the tough SEC. Houston has dominated opponents by enacting their pressure defense that led the nation in allowing only  58.1 points per game. Florida has won 11 in-a-row while the Cougars have won 18 straight games and 31 of their last 32 games overall. Kelvin Sampson is going out a winner after 31 years. Take HOUSTON!

Central Florida vs Nebraska 5:30 ET

Cornhuskers (+) over Knights - Unlike the big boys and big girls tournament where only number 1 seeds are permitted to advance the College Basketball Crown has a three seed and a twelve seed (which we hear so much about in the 5-12 match up). Nebraska enters T-Mobile in Las Vegas favored about the same price over the Panthers as was Villanova Saturday who the Knights disposed of in OT 104-98. In Nebraska’s early win Saturday over Boise State they had a fantastic shooting afternoon hitting 63% of three-pointers (12-19) and making 83% from the free throw line. The Knights are led by guard Darius Johnson who put up 42 points making 17 Free Throws and he has eight 3-pointers the last two contests at T-Mobile. The Cornhuskers will regress as their shooting percentage wanes here and the Knights win the challenge.Take CENTRAL FLORIDA!

Toronto at Brooklyn 3:30 ET

Nets (+) over Raptors - If you ever need proof that the points are the equalizer just take a look at the straight up and ATS records of these two also-rans. Brooklyn is 25-52 straight up and yet are a winner against the number going 42-35 ATS. It is much of the same when looking at Toronto who is 28-50 SU but have a winning ATS record of 46-31 (15 games above .500). The Nets are in great position and do not to lay down to improve their draft position because they already have a 9% chance of winning the NBA lottery but they also have three other No. 1 daft picks from trades with Milwaukee, Phoenix and the NY Knicks. The Raptors rapped the Nets two weeks ago and lead the season series 2-1 but it will even it self today. Take BROOKLYN!

Houston vs Duke 8:45 ET

Cougars (+) over Blue Devils - Duke may not be the No. 1 seed but they are the odds makers and people’s choice as the -120 favorite to take it all. Houston who brings the No. 1 defense in the nation to San Antonio allowing just 58.3 PPG and they are ranked No. 2 in 3-point FG percentage at 39.7. The Cougars under coach Kelvin Sampson (who announced his retirement when the season ends) have won 17 games in-a-row while Duke has won 15 straight games and 31 of heir last 32 with only a loss at Clemson on February 8th, they have one loss since November 26, 2024. Wow! Some choice…Number are great but this will come down to a mano-a-mano battle on defense and they both play it well and while the Blue Devils are deep the Cougars have heart and incentive looking to send their coach out with his first NCAA championship. Hey if it’s a ‘show’ like they often say then that’s the upset of the tournament and a great story line. Take HOUSTON!

Memphis at Detroit 7:00 ET

Pistons (+) over Grizzlies - The talk surrounding this battle is more about actions on he court other than the play. Ja Morant is at it again, his finger pointing gun actions have the league up in arms (not like the one Ja carries). Memphis is reeling having lost 7 of 9 and not only are they losing on the floor but they lost their coach as well as the Grizzlies slide from the No. 2 seed in the west behind Oklahoma City to their current seeding tied for the fifth spot with the Clippers and Minnesota. Detroit clinch a playoff berth last time out and they are not satisfied after setting franchise record for losses in 2023-24. Memphis has won the past eight meetings and are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 encounters. They have met once this season back in November but the teams have moved in different directions since. The Pistons have moved up to No. 3 in defense and are 29-16 since the New Year. Take DETROIT!

Florida vs Auburn 6:06 ET

Tigers (+) over Gators - The No. 1 overall seed for this NCAA tournament is Auburn and according to the Las Vegas odds makers they are the long shot at +850 to win in the Final Four. Florida who many believe to be the best of them all has had a couple of scares the last few time out and that can be looked at in two ways. You can be party to those who believe they were lucky and their luck will run out, or you believe that they gained from the experience and dodged a bullet twice. Well ,here’s more to ponder, the Gators as an 11-point underdog defeated Auburn 90-81 and have won 13 straight and 19 of 20. Right now aside from Johni Broome and Bruce Pearl the Tigers who closed the season losing 3-of-4 and have won four tourney games this far have not been impressive. Florida is too popular for this line to be as low as it is and it should rise,  but the Gators get bitten by the Tigers. Take AUBURN!

Central Florida vs Villanova 4:00 ET

Knights (+) over Wildcats - A pair of cats will be clawing each other in Las Vegas scratching into the finals of the first ever College Basketball Crown between Central Florida and Villanova. It should be obvious to all that have followed these squads this season who is  better team and who has faced stiffer competition during the year. the Big East sends its sixth seed to battle with the Big-12’s 14th seed Central Florida. The Wildcats won 11 of 20 conference games while the Knights won 7 of 20 Big-12 encounters. I expected the Big East rep considering who and where they come from that they would be at least what Cincinnati was against the Knights last time out about -6.5. The odds makers opened Villanova -2 and it will move higher from the -3.5 that I see now. THIS IS BOGUS!

Oklahoma City at Houston 8:00 ET

Rockets (+) over Thunder - I don’t know if you new this but, I just realized that Houston had not been to the playoffs in five seasons. Last year was sort of a coming out party for the Rockets but this season they broke through and are currently the No. 2 seed in the West. They have won 13 of the past 15 games but have dropped 3-of-4 to Oklahoma City. I love the Thunder and will have a heart in my throat watching this one as they have won 18 of 19 and I will not be surprised I they win it ALL (most experts believe they are too raw...yeah raw TALENT)! They ranked No. 3 on offense and No. 1 on defense, but you can’t win ‘em all. Take HOUSTON!

Detroit at Toronto 7:30 ET

Pistons (-) over Raptors - Believe it or not I think the Pistons are a threat in the NBA East in make it to the conference finals. Detroit who has dropped their last two games are in the Playoffs with a win tonight after having the worst season in franchise history. Toronto is having a horrible season straight up, but have been one of the most profitable clubs when playing with the points and are 46-30 ATS. The Raptors has lost the past five meetings including three wins this season and are 1-4 ATS in those five meetings. With incentive the Piston will run on all cylinders and rout the Raptors. Take DETROIT!

Golden State at L.A. Lakers 10:00 ET

Warriors (+) over Lakers - These two California rivals have played three times this season with Los Angeles winning all three match ups covering all three meetings. Golden State had previously won the prior three meetings and covered the number in all of those. Both Golden State and the Lakers made moves at the trade deadline that improved their odds on winning it all. Jimmy Butler was added to the Warriors lineup and Luca Doncic to the Lakers and both trades have proven to upgrade both clubs to championship level. Right now both of these clubs would meet in the NBA playoffs in the first round and the Warriors especially want to enter that series off of a positive win. Take GOLDEN STATE!

Central Florida and Cincinnati 7:00 ET

Knights (+) over Bearcats - These two unlikely conference foes (somehow they are both in the Big-12) meet in Las Vegas and I am looking forward going down to the MGM Grand and watch the Bearcats do their think. Cincinnati you see for ages has let their backers down when in big game situations. The Bearcats already own a victory over the Knights going into Orlando on Feb. 5 and coming away on the right side 93-83 as an underdog of 3.5-points. This sets up perfect as the Queen City boys have won and covered the last five meetings and are in a perfect spot to let everybody down…everybody but ‘us’. (I hope) Take a CENTRAL FLORIDA!

Atlanta at Dallas 8:30 ET

Mavericks (-) over Hawks - Dallas has won the last three meetings between these two combatants including a 129-119 win Thanksgiving weekend in Atlanta. Currently, the Hawks are two games ahead of Miami for a play-in spot and 2.5 games over Chicago. The Mavericks who started March 1-9 but have now won four of their last six and have Anthony Davis in uniform for the sixth time since being traded from the Lakers for Luca Doncic. The Mavs have not quit on the season despite being hit with a rash of injuries his year. The Hawks have dropped 3-of-4 and fall short once again tonight. Take DALLAS!

Tulane vs USC 11:00 ET

Trojans (-) over Green Wave - If the line on this game and a number of other games which to me seem out of whack we can always blame it on the transfer portal which has impacted every team bu some more than others. There is no way USC should be favored like this over Tulane, the Green Wave have won 19 games and 8 of their last 10 while Southern Cal who is under .500 is an 8.5-point favorite. The Trojans have dropped nne of the last 12…so, one team has won eight of 12 and the other the heavy favorite has lost nine of their last 12. This one smells real bad. Take SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!

Minnesota at Denver 10:00 ET

Timberwolves (+) over Nuggets - Upon review of the series between these two it was surprising to see that Minnesota has won the past five meetings outright and went 4-1 ATS in the process. Denver will be playing their fourth straight game at home having won the last two but are just 3-11 ATS in their past 14 games overall. The T’wolves are a half-game behind Golden State for the sixth seed looking to avoid the NBA play-in. Minny took out the Nuggets in last years playoffs and seem to have Denver’s number. Take MINNESOTA!

Colorado vs Villanova 8:30 ET

Buffaloes (+3) Wildcats - This is one of those ‘don’t make sense games!’ Villanova of Big East fame missed the NCAA’s and end up in Las Vegas in the semi-final of the newly created College basketball Crown. The Wildcats were 19-14 which out of the Big East this season isn’t all that bad but Colorado was and is a 20-game loser. How, can this line be where it is only a long shot favorite and that’s what Colorado is a long shot. But, the Buffaloes had won three straight before losing and covering the fifth straight to end the season.and are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 overall. Take COLORADO!

North Texas State vs Cal-Irvine 7:00 ET

Anteaters (+) over Mean Green - North Texas State is everything you hate if you are the opposition. They bring the game down to a crawl and are pesky on defense playing pressure ball and cut of passing lanes and force their foes to adapt to the Mean Green style and they usually will wear you down (as they did in the NIT Championship games in Las Vegas in 2023 beating UAB. Cal-Irvine can go both ways moving the ball quickly up-court or a more disciplined style. Mean Green has been more of an underdog in these type of match ups but not here and they are usually better in the underdog role. Oh hey, still yet their coach has left for greener pastures as he signed three days ago to coach West Virginia. Take CAL-IRVINE!

LA Clippers at Orlando 7:00 ET

Magic (+) over Clippers - Orlando who holds the eighth spot in the NBA playoff hunt after winning their fourth game in their last five tries after romping over Sacramento 121-91 on Saturday. The Clippers dropped their contest against Cleveland Sunday and are now in the eighth playoff spot in the Western Conference. LA despite that loss are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games overall. Both are in need and LA posted a win over the Magic back in November and Orlando will even the series here. Take ORLANDO!

Utah vs Butler 6:00 ET

Utes (+) over Bulldogs - Utah has gone through huge changes the later oar of the season including hiring a new coach and have had seven players leave in the transfer portal. Butler enters Las Vegas MGM Grand having lost five of their last six games but have had only one player in the transfer portal and have a 3-1 series edge that should not matter as they last time they played each other was in 1964. The Utes are familiar with playing in Las Vegas and should have plenty of fan support. Take UTAH!

Houston at Phoenix 9:00 ET

Suns (+) over Rockets - Phoenix has dropped their last two games and sit in 11th in the NBA playoff hunt that takes the top 10 to qualify. Houston has been hot and have won 11 of their past 12 and are 2nd in the Western Conference and trail OKC by double-digits but are a game and a half ahead of Denver. The pressure is on the Suns and they should shine bright tonight. Take PHOENIX!

Portland at New York 6:00 ET

Trailblazers (+) over Knicks - The Knicks continue to play winning basketball despite losing their leading scorer and assists man Jalen Brunson to a sprained ankle and has not played in over three weeks. Portland has dropped three straight but have been off since Thursday at Sacramento where they got wasted. The Trailblazers are 4-games behind Dallas for the 10th spot but losses to Cleveland and Boston have dimmed their chances. The loss to the Kings was one of most lopsided losses of the season for the Blazers and they look to rebound like true professionals would. Take PORTLAND!

Michigan State vs Auburn 5:05 ET

Spartans (+) over Tigers - This is the way it is supposed to be with a pair of veteran teams with big time coaches meet for a berth to the Final-4. Michigan State is never supposed to be here in any year it seems but Tom Izzo’s teams always get better as the season moves on and that a part of life for the Spartans as he has lead them eight Final-4’s. Auburn has been at the top of the polls all year and are coach by another legend in Bruce Pearl who is the only coach to take Tennessee to the Elite Eight and has take Auburn to their only Final-4 appearance. In a really tough call because of the way Michigan State has preformed as an underdog in the tourney and the Tigers are power based with Johni Broome leading the way.

Tennessee vs Houston 2:29 ET

Volunteers (+) over Cougars - Usually when I see a price this small my first thoughts are ‘isn’t an inviting line laying 3 or less looks like a steal’ and I would then think that it is too easy. Now, that is the first impression I had when I saw this price at -2.5. So my idea is to fade Houston…not so fast my friend (he still cracks me up Lee Corso). Tennessee is just a hair behind the Cougars keeping opponents shooting at a 38.5% and Houston the nation’s best at preventing shots and is just I/10th of a point better at 38.4%. The Cougars are No. 1 in fewest points allowed per game with 58.5 while the Volunteers are ranked 6th allowing 62.9.PPG. Cats too much for Vols…take HOUSTON!

Alabama vs Duke 8:50 ET

Blue Devils (-) over Crimson Tide - Say what? Alabama took 51 3-point shots on Thursday making 25 setting an NCAA record as three different player made five long distance shots. The Crimson Tide lead the nation in scoring averaging over 91 points a game and have won 5of 7 with both losses to Florida. Duke has keep opponents at 31% shooting from long range and they hold their foes to 62.5 points per game ranking 7th in the nation. The Tide will ebb up against the Blue Devil defense and find it difficult to catch a shooting rhythm. Take DUKE!

Dallas at Chicago 8:00 ET

Mavericks (+) over Bulls - Chicago is off of an improbably win on Thursday defeating the Lakers with half court buzzer beater after trailing by five points  with :12 second left in the game. The Bulls who have won nine of their last 11. Dallas is currently two games below .500 which is really not all that bad when considering the injuries that have plagued them. But, the Mavericks have not quit and are still in a battle with Phoenix and Sacramento. Anthony Davis has been a great addition (lost luca Doncic) and they are totally different when he plays. He is suppose to play tonight. Take DALLAS!

Texas Tech vs Florida 6:05 ET

Red Raiders (+) over Gators - Florida the No. 1 seed has won nine straight and are the ATS leader in the tourney with a 27-10 ATS record on the season. This shows not only were they great this year but the Gators have been under-rated by the book makers as well. Texas Tech received plenty of accolades during the season and have risen to this opportunity to get to the Final Four. The Red Raiders were 18-18 ATS and have covered only once in their last four outings. Tech feels that they are on borrowed time and have nothing to lose after trailing by 16 to Arkansas with 10 minutes remaining before winning in overtime. Raiders believe they have been blessed and believe it is their time. Take TEXAS TECH!

Michigan at Auburn 7:00 ET

Tigers (-) over Wolverines - Both of these clubs went through a bit of a lull before their respective conference tournaments started. Michigan was cruising along and then dropped three straight before closing with three Big Ten Tournament wins to capture the Big Ten title and the automatic NCAA berth with their streak now at five . Auburn lost the final two regular season games and were beaten in the second round of the SEC tourney to Tennessee. The Tiger covered for the first time in six games last time out defeating Creighton with a late push.  Of the other 15 teams aside from themselves Auburn has defeated nine of them this season and that is 60% of the field. Michigan has already had an incredible year considering where they were a year ago losing 24 games. But, Dusty May (I gotta love the name if he was only in rodeo) is the guy that bough Florida Atlanta to the Final Four two short years ago. Still, I just don’t believe the Wolverines have come far enough. The Big Ten has fared well but SEC is a monster. Take AUBURN!

New York at Milwaukee 8:00 ET

Knicks (+) over Bucks - The series between these two flipped the scenario two years ago when the Knicks broke a nine game losing streak to Milwaukee and have won the past four meetings including a pair of wins this season. The Bucks and Knicks are both facing injuries with Milwaukee having Damien Lillard on the shelf along with a questionable Antetoounmpo while New York is without their leading scorer and spark plug Jalen Brunson. Karl-Anthony Towns can and will control inside the paint. Take NEW YORK!

Mississippi vs Michigan State 9:30 ET

Rebels (+) over Spartans - This match up pits two great college coaches that have been in the limelight before. Of course, Michigan State has Tom Izzo who has been so good that he may be put into the Hall of Fame before he’s even finished coaching. Mississippi’s Chris Beard you may remember had success on the court at Texas but charges of strangling of his fiancee (who hasn’t wanted to do that!) and meth on Dec. 12th and fired January 5th having the felony strangulation charges which were dropped. The stealing meth was dismissed February 15th. The Rebels shooting 49% from long range in tourney so far and the Spartans pride themselves on their defense allow just 31% from beyond the arc. But when you are hot and you are hot. Take MISSISSIPPI!

Arkansas vs Texas Tech 10:05 ET

Red Raiders (-) over Razorbacks - Arkansas as coach John Calipari has drawn the attention of the media, has become the dark horse selection among those ‘in the know’…yeah right! The Razorbacks have closed the season on a rush as good coaching gets teams to improve as the year moves ends and they finished 7-2 and defeated Kansas and St. John’s in the tourney. Texas Tech also finished with a flair winning six of seven falling only to Arizona. The Red Raiders are one of the top teams in the tournament on both offense and defense and coach Chris Beard formerly from Texas is 50-19 since taking the job in Lubbock three seasons ago. The two time Big-12 Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2019 will have his club ready on both ends of the court. Take TEXAS TECH!

Atlanta at Miami 7:30 ET

Hawks (+) over Heat - Atlanta had won seven of nine games before the were routed by Houston although the Hawks did get the the money with a 4th quarter back door cover (trailed by 25 points) and have now covered their last four games. Miami, has won the last two outings after losing 10 straight with the last win a Megabucks victory over Golden State. The Heat have reached their limit winning twice and now get over taken by the Hawks. Take ATLANTA!

Maryland vs Florida 7:35 ET

Terrapins (+) over Gators - I am still hearing that Maryland’s Derik Queen ‘traveled’ before scoring the winning basket to defeat Colorado State 72-71and are a bit sour on the Terrapins. Florida’s win over Connecticut was another contest that came down to the final seconds after trailing most of the game. From what I understand and what the Las Vegas bookies are saying is that Florida has been the betting favorite to win it all. Duke is the odds on favorite but the Gators are the public’s choice. But, not for me tonight. Terps won 8-of-9 with the lone loss 81-80 to Michigan. Take the points…take MARYLAND!

BYU vs Alabama 7:05 ET

Cougars (+) over Crimson Tide - Alabama outclassed St. Mary’s from the opening tip until the final buzzer and were the better team on all fronts. BYU took a tough 91-89 win from Wisconsin and have won 11-of-12 with the lone loss to Houston. The Crimson Tide are the nation’s highest scoring team putting up 90.8 points while their defense allows 81.0 ranking No. 356. ‘Bama will try and outrun you while BYU makes each possession count. The Cougars offense in ranked 26th in the nation scoring 81.2 PPG along with a defense that is ranked 250 spots better than the Tide. Take BRIGHAM YOUNG!

Boston at Phoenix 10 :00 ET

Suns (+) over Celtics - When I saw Jason Tatum go down with an ankle injury Monday night, I thought that Boston should be happy if he is able to return 100% by the playoffs. He is questionable tonight and I guess the injury isn’t as bad as it looked to me and is not that bad after all. But, even with Porzingis back the Celtics who have won their last six might not be able to put it together against Phoenix who has won their last four games making a playoff push after a disappointing season. The Suns have dropped the last two meetings and 4-of-5 but the last time they played each other was over a year ago. Suns are hot and will burn Boston. Take PHOENIX RISING!

LA Lakers at Indiana 7:00 ET

Lakers over Pacers - So, how's that working out for you…the LA Lakers have dropped three straight and seven of 10 as a two-man team of James and Doncic isn’t enough. To be fair, LeBron has been out and Luca hasn’t hit his stride since coming off of injury after being traded to Los Angeles. Still, Indiana trails the Lakers by 1-game overall on the year, although they play in different conferences. The Lakers won as a plus 4.5-point home dog 124-117 in only meeting this season six weeks ago in LA. That was without James and Doncic, both will play tonight. Take LOS ANGELES LAKERS!

LA Clippers at New York 7:30 ET

Knicks (-) over Clippers - The LA Clippers had won 8-of-9 games before falling to Oklahoma City 103-101 Sunday and have won the last two meetings with the Knicks and 4-of-5 past meetings. New York has won their last two outings at home and go for the ‘Hat Trick’ tonight as a small underdog. Although New York is without leading sorer Jalen Brunson they have enough balance and depth to over come the Clipper at home. Take NEW YORK!

North Texas State at Oklahoma State 9:00 ET

Mean Green (+) over Cowboys - Before I start I want to say that as far as I am concerned about this game even with the understanding that it all come down to gambling. Maybe not quite like a roll of the dice but I absolutely love North Texas State. To start with the Cowboys really are not that good and had to win a pair of games here to be at .500. But, if you have not seen the Mean Green don’t bother watching because they will drive you nuts and their opposition crazy. NTS was here two years ago on their way to the NIT championship played in Las Vegas. Take NORTH TEXAS STATE!

Atlanta at Houston 8:00 ET

Rockets (-z) over Hawks- This battle will pit the best assets of each club against each other.  Atlanta has used it’s 5th ranked offensive that has shot 55.3% from the field in its last three games while Houston who just had a nine-game winning streak end Sunday have the league’s No. 5 ranked defense. Golden State at Miami 7:30 ET

Heat (+) over Warriors - It has been bad; no, not even as bad as my NBA selections the previous week, it has been even worse for Miami who broke a 10-game losing streak Sunday, finally winning a professional game over Charlotte (18) who is third from the bottom in wins just ahead of Washington (15) and Utah (16). Now, ‘Jimmy ‘Playoffs’ Butler once a Heat All-Star, forced a trade and ended up with the Warriors and they immediately went on a tear, winning 16 of 19 with Butler in the lineup. In their only meetings this season the first week of January in California, Miami defeated Golden State 114-98 getting 8.5-points and Butler was sidelined before the trade. After seven straight home games over 17 days the Warriors lost on the road at Atlanta 124-115 on Saturday. Take MIAMI!   

Orlando at Charlotte 7:00 ET

Hornets (+) over Magic - The pressure is off the Magic as they delivered as our Megabucks winning release on Monday and now there will be a natural letdown after defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 118-106 as 4-point underdog last night. Charlotte returns home after a two game losing trip and have dropped 4-of-5. Orlando has won the last three meetings all this season and eight of nine encounters overall. Take CHARLOTTE!

Boston at Sacramento 10:00 ET

Kings (+) over Celtics - It is always a tough call when looking to played against the NBA Champion Boston Celtics although they are just 32-38 ATS on the season.  This is just the second meeting of the season between these two with the Kings pulling off an outright upset as a 11-point underdog 114-97 in Boston in early January. The Celtics had won the five previous meetings and enter this fray on a five-game win streak and winner of nine of 10, while the Kings have dropped 7-of-10. The Kings have fallen out of the secured playoff position and need this game in the worst way. Take SACRAMENTO!

Chicago at Denver 9:00 ET

Bulls (+) over Nuggets - Denver posted an outright win at Houston Sunday 116-111 as a 7-point underdog ending a 4-game road trip raising their record to 9-8 since the All-star break. Nikola Jokic who missed the entire road grip and will again be missing tonight. The Bulls have won five of their last seven road games and defeated the Nuggets 129-121 as a 9-point dogs at home two months ago. They are ready to do it again. Take CHICAGO!

LA Lakers at Orlando 7:00 ET

Magic (+) over Lakers - Talk of highs and lows of a NBA season, they were no more on display then with the Lakers last two outings. Los Angeles scored a season low 89 points on Thursday against Milwaukee and allowed a season high in points (146) scored on Saturday by Chicago. The latter was the final of a five game home stand. This is the second meeting between these two since November in LA where the Magic posted a 119-118 upset win as a 5-point underdog. Lebron James has returned to action and the Lakers have dropped six of their last nine. Take ORLANDO!  

Oklahoma City at LA Clippers 9:00 ET

Clippers (+) over Thunder - They are getting down to crunch time as the regular NBA season winds down and teams are jockeying for playoff position. Oklahoma City who last year had the best regular season record in the West is doing it again and have won 12 of the past 13 games while the Clippers have won eight of their last nine. The LA Clippers who played three months without Kawhi Leonard have been given a shot in the arm with his return. The Thunder is 3-0 versus the Clippers this season and 8-2 SU the last 10 meetings going 7-2-1 ATS. The Clippers are 38-31 ATS on the season and are now better equipped to deal with OKC. Take LA CLIPPERS!

New Mexico vs Michigan State 8:40 ET

Lobos (+) over Spartans - Another Pitino is making an impact on the NCAA scene as Rich (Rick’s son) has New Mexico one step away from the Sweet-16. Michigan State coach Tom Izzo has had experience coaching against a Pitino but not this whippersnapper! The Spartans are the same almost every season. They are predicted to finish in the lower half of the Big Ten and always are in a fight for the title before seasons end as the Spartans get better game by game and once again here we are. But, although their free throw shooting can improve the Lobos are well coached and keep this one close. Take NEW MEXICO!  

Denver at Houston 7:00 ET

Rockets (-) over Nuggets - Houston is 2-hgames ahead of Denver in the standings and they have won five of the last six meetings including a win at Denver when the were favorites on the road in Denver. Now, the Rockets are the largest favorite in this series in years and that is a telling tale. The Nuggets are just 8-8 since the All-star break and has dropped three of four and have a one game lead over Memphis for the fourth seed in the West. The Nuggets will be without 30time MVP Nikola Jokic and that enough for me. Take HOUSTON!

San Antonio at Toronto 6:00 ET

Spurs (+) over Raptors - A pair of NBA bottom feeders meet in Toronto where the Raptors return from a four-game west coast trip dropping their last three. San Antonio has won their last two games and of course are without the big guy Victor Wembanayama for the first time since the New Year. The Spurs make it a three in-a-row for the first time since November when they had a full roster. Take SAN ANTONIOI!

St. Mary’s vs Alabama 6:10 ET

Gaels (+) over Crimson Tide - St. Mary’s has won their last seven and have only lost twice in their last 21 games since December 22 and of course that was a loss to conference champion Gonzaga who they had defeated twice during the regular season. But, the Gaels have failed to cover in any of their last five games. Despite have eight losses Alabama is a No. 2 seed because of their SEC schedule and some impressive wins. St. Mary’s plays the type of game that could cause the Crimson to get impatient and out of their game. Take ST. MARY’S!   

Baylor vs Duke 2:40 ET

Bears (+) over Blue Devils - Many thought that Duke should have been the No. 1 overall seed but questions about Cooper Flagg’s injury had them concerned and dropped them a notch. The Blue Devils had a walk over in their tourney opener as the blew out Mount Saint Mary’s 93-49 as they had a school record 21 assists and just two turnovers the best ratio in any game in school history. Baylor guard Jeremy Roach was a Duke key player in their 2022 Final four appearance. The Bears have had a disappointing season to date and a win here would make it all worthwhile. Take BAYLOR!

Connecticut vs Florida 12:10 ET

Huskies (+) over Gators - Connecticut has had a rough season trying to win their third straight national championship as injuries and inconsistency have hampered their efforts. The Huskies have picked up the pace of late winning six of their past seven with the lone loss against Creighton in the Big East tournament. Florida a No. 1 seed had by far the best ATS record of all squads in the tourney as they went 26-9 ATS and considering who they played and the points they had to give out makes that an amazing ATS record. The Huskies have won the past five meetings going 4-1 ATS and have the experience to keep this close. Take CONNECTICUT!  

UCLA vs Tennessee 9:40 ET

Bruins (+) over Volunteers - The style of these clubs is so similar they both might think that they are playing against a mirror. Tennessee the No. 2 seed allows just 63.0 points per game while UCLA surrenders 65.2 a 2-point difference but the Bruins have the slight offensive advantage of two spots in the rankings 147 to 149. Rick Barnes Volunteers coach has been here before and always seems to fall short and this team has shortcomings that will sooner or later spell their Waterloo. The points are a bargain here. Take UCLA!  

Bulldogs (+) over Cougars - This is a tough one for me to side with as I have said time and again that I thought Houston would make it to the Final Four. To further play on my mind is that I played against Gonzaga in their opening win over Georgia and now I am changing gears for this match-up with the Cougars. Houston is on a 14-game win streak and have won 27 of 28. The Bulldogs have NCAA experience having made it to the Elite Eight 10 times in their 26 consecutive NCAA appearances. Houston has been knocking on the door at the Elite Eight and final four two of the past four seasons. But, only by mess then margin…take GONZAGA!  

Golen State at Atlanta 7:00 ET

Hawks (+) over Warriors - These two met back in November before Thanksgiving and Golden State as a 7.5-point home favorite won 120-97. Atlanta had won six of the previous nine meetings and have won five of their past seven games. The Warriors are now 16-3 since the Jimmy Butler trade but will be without their great shooting guard Stephen Curry who turned an ankle. The Hawks have won the last five meetings at home and get it done agin today. Take ATLANTA!

Creighton vs Auburn 7:10 ET

Tigers (-) over Blue Jays - Tigers offense rankd No. 10 scoring 83.8 PPG ranking 10th in points scored while the Blue Jays are ranked 138. Auburn is the No. 1 overall seed while our ‘bankroll Builder was a winner over Louisville on Thursday and after falling to St. John’s in the Big East championship game. The Tigers couldn’t wait for the tournament to start and dropped 3-of-4 to end the regular season. The battle of big men Auburn’s Johni Boome and Creighton might tell the tale and I believe more in the Tiger. Tonight they regain their focus for 40 minutes. Take AUBURN!  

McNeese State vs Purdue 12:10 ET

Boilermakers (+) over Cowboys - When you’re hot you’re hot and the Cowboys are nearly on fire having won 12 straight games and 23 of 24 entering this match with last year’s Final 4 runner-up. Unlike McNeese State,  Purdue comes stumbling into the tourney dropping six of the last nine before defeating High Point on Thursday. The Boilermakers have been here 10 straight years and they have experienced players that are 8-3 in NCAA Tournament games. The Cowboys caught Clemson early and ran out to a huge lead and were lucky to survive. Their weak schedule and luck has run out. Take PURDUE!   

New Mexico vs Marquette 7:25 ET

Lobo’s (+) over Golden Eagles - Marquette enters this contest having lost 3-of-4 going 0-4 ATS including a Big East Semi-final loss to St, John’s. New Mexico had a 4-game win streak working before Boise State finished their season in the Mountain West Conference. This battle pits the biggest strengths of both clubs opposite each other. The choice for Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Stevie Mitchell opposing Donovan Dent the MWC Player of the Year. Richard Pitino has the stronger blood lie than does Shaka Smart. Take NEW MEXICO!

North Carolina vs Mississippi 4:05 ET

Rebels (+) over Tar Heels - What happened to North Carolina (being maligned for making the tournament) happened twice before and both of those clubs advanced winning at least one game proving the selection group was right. Mississippi has been a model of inconsistency beating No. 2 ranked teams Alabama and Tennessee while getting blown out four times by 30, 25, 20 and 19. Rebels coach Chris Beard has taken four teams to the NCAA Tournament something Hubert Davis can not say. Take MISSISSIPPI!  

Vanderbilt vs Saint Mary’s 3:15 ET

Commodores (+) over Gaels - Vanderbilt can definitely be considered and upstart getting into the NCAA’s this season their first since 2017. St. Mary’s who defeated Gonzaga twice during the regular season but couldn’t turn the hat-trick is a veteran team with a veteran coach Randy Bennett who is in his 25th season with the school.  Unlike the Commodores head coach first year coach Mark Byington who lead James Madison into the NCAA’S second round last season. Both clubs play sound defense with the Gaels leading the nation allowing only 60.7 PPG while the ‘Dores score 79.6 PPG. Take VANDERBILT!

Milwaukee at Los Angeles 10:30 ET

Bucks (+) over Lakers - Milwaukee has been terribly inconsistent this season and the ATS record proves it out as they are 33-34-2 ATS on the year. These two clubs met a week ago in Milwaukee and the Bucks route LA 126-106 and the Lakers are looking for a turn-about but it might not happen. After dropping four straight the Lakers have won their last three games including a revenge win over Denver last time out. LA has been without LeBron James for the past six game and the line shows it. Take MILWAUKEE!

Toronto at Golden State 10:00 ET

Warriors (-) over Raptors - Golden State started the season by winning 14 of their first 16 games and then hit a three month lull which ended with the acquision of Jimmy Butler. Now, 40-29 the Warriors had sunk to a game under .500 before his arrival. Toronto on the other hand has been bad all season and are just 8-25 on the road although they are a beefy 41-27-1 ATS on the year. But, the Raptors were beaten by 40-points last time out on the road to Phoenix and are playing their fourth straight road game. This ‘price’ is huge as no other line has been greater than -8 in their last 10 meetings going back to 2020. Toronto has had over 30 different starting lineups and it doesn’t matter which one they start tonight. Take GOLDEN STATE

UC San Diego vs Michigan 10:00 ET

Tritons (+) over Wolverines - San Diego enters this fray seeking their 16th straight win against Big Ten Champion Michigan who recovered and saved their season by seeping the conference tournament winning three straight games as underdogs. The book-makers believe that the Wolves are taking the Tritons lightly and who can blame them this is UCSD’s if appearance in the first year of eligibility for the tournament. Take SAN DIEGO!  

Arkansas vs Kansas 7:10 ET

Jayhawks (-) over Razorbacks - This match up is so ugly that I am absolutely sure that I won’t watch a single dribble, but that does mean that we won’t have the winner. Kansas like North Carolina has had ‘big school’ expectations and both have had alumni disappointments. Arkansas has been okay but were just 14-18 ATS and won some big games and lost others that the were expected to win, but the Jayhawks did nothing more than disappointing more than not when it countered most. So with this price where it is way is way too easy to take Arkansas. Two Hall of Fame coaches John Capilari and Bill Self ’match up. Give it to Self…Take KANSAS

Georgia vs Gonzaga 4:35 ET

Bulldogs (+) over Zags -At mid-season most were saying that Gonzaga was not at the level o years past but they closed the season with a flurry and won out in the Western Conference championship by defeating St Mary’s after having dropped a pair of regular season meetings . Georgia started 14-3 and then SEC play beat them up a bit but their non conference record tells the tale. Take GEORGIA!

Creighton vs Louisville 12:15 ET

Blue Jays (+) over Cardinals - Louisville a University with a long rich storied basketball record and  has had the greatest season turn around in school history. The cardinals went from 4-28 in 2023 and 8-24 2024 last season and posted 27 wins against seven looses this year falling to Duke in the ACC. The Cards have come a long way but this is a huge step for them a bit too far and too soon. Take CREIGHTON!

Cleveland at Sacramento 10:00 ET

Kings (+) over Cavaliers - Cleveland still has the best record in the NBA although they lost for the second time after having won 16 games in-a-row and have now dropped their last two outings. Most believe that the Cavaliers will not lose their season high third game in a row but they have sorta of let their ‘mojo’ slide nearing the end the the long NBA regular season. This is the first meeting of the year and the Kings have won 3 of the previous 4 encounters. The points are worth taking here! Take SACRAMENTO!  

Memphis at Portland 10:00 ET

Trailblazers (+) over Grizzlies - This will be the third meeting of the season between these combatants  although the first two meetings were played in early November with the Grizzlies winning and covering both games. Portland may have 13 less wins than Memphis but the are head of them when it come to point spread results as the Blazers are ten games to the plus on the season. Ja Morent will miss his third straight game for the Griz and the Trailblazers will take advantage. Take PORTLAND!

Xavier vs Texas 9:10 ET

Longhorns (+) over Musketeers - Texas like North Carolina had some questions about them receiving a bit (not as intense) to the Big Dance for the most part because like NC they were 6-12 in conference (SEC) play. Xavier finished 21-11 and had reeled off seven straight Big East wins in-a-row before falling to Marquette 89-87 in the 1st round. This game in being played in Dayton and the perceived advantage to the Musketeer as the location is just 50 from the their campus. The winner here plays the No. 6 seed Illinois. These two teams match up pretty evenly with the better record for the favorite and the tougher conference with the underdog. The points are a bonus!  TakeTEXAS!

Houston at Orlando 7:00 ET

Magic (+) over Rockets - The Magic are on a mission and this is to end opponents winning streaks. Orlando just knocked off Cleveland 108-103 on Sunday who was on their second 16 game winning streak of the season and look forward to taking down Houston tonight who is on their season long win streak of seven games. The Magic are 5-games under .500 and for the most play that is because of their play without Paolo Banchero who was injured for an extended period of time. He’s back and the No. 1 overall draft selection makes a difference. Take ORLANDO!

Cleveland at LA Clippers 10:30 ET

Clippers (+) over Cavaliers - Believe it or not this is the first meeting of the season between these two with the next one coming in Cleveland. The Cavaliers just had their second 16 game winning streak this season come to an end last time out falling to Orlando at home. Most ‘players’ will think first that they will rebound in this match up but, the Clippers are starting to play ball and have won six of seven. This is the first of a five game west coast road trip and will be facing a former coach in Tyronn Lue. Take LA CLIPPERS!

North Carolina vs San Diego State 9:10 ET

Aztecs (+) over Tar Heels - The shouting is way too loud about North Carolina being offered a play-in game as they are 1-12 this season against Quads 1 & 2. Meaning that they really haven’t beaten anybody except for one time defeated a team that was any good. But the Tar Heels won eight of nine after a 20-point blowout loss to Clemson and fell in the ACC final to Duke by three after trailing by 25. I was sorts of thinking that UNC would go out and prove the critics about their selection wrong as it seems to happen every year. Although the Aztecs have won 21 outright of their last 32 games they are only 12-20 ATS. Still, this contest should come done to the final buzzer. Take SAN DIEGO STATE!

Denver at Golden State 10;00 ET

Warriors(-) over Nuggets - My goodness have you seen what these two clubs do when playing each other. To my surprise (maybe you were aware of this) Denver has defeated the Warriors eight straight times including their lone clash this season with the Warriors getting the cash going 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. After their East coast trip the Warriors have won four straight at home and this makes five…take GOLDEN STATE!

Memphis at Sacraamento 10:00 ET

Kings (-) over Grizzlies - This match up seems a bit off to me as Sacramento has dropped four straight games three of which were on the road  while Memphis has won five of their past six with their lone loss coming at the hands of the Cavaliers. Although they are racking up wins the Grizzlies are just 2-8 ATS in the last 10 games. Theses two have split a pair of home wins and covers against each other but the Kings have won five of the past six meetings. Take SACRAMENTO!

Miami at New York 7:30 ET

Heat (+) over Knicks - Miami and New York are both off of losses but the difference is that the Heat have lost seven in a row while the Knicks only dropped their last time out to Golden State. The Heat are of course without Jimmy Butler and New York will be without their leading scorer in Jalen Brunson. The Knicks average 116.7 points per game with him in the line up but just 109 PPG without him I the lineup. Take MIAMI!

Toronto at Portland 6:00 ET

Blazers (-) over Raptors - Either Portland is back or Toronto is falling by the wayside. A couple of weeks back the Trailblazers were the hottest team in the NBA alone with Cleveland. But, Portland couldn’t keep up the pace and the Cavaliers have now won what 17-in-a-row. This price seem a bit strong to me and the Raptors seem too appealing. Portland has won seven of the past nine meetings and believe it or not this is the first time they are playing each other this season. Blazers are 16-16 at home while the Raptors are a dreadful 8-23 on the road. To press on about how strange this line is think of the fact that Toronto has won three straight and 6-of-7 going 6-1 ATS while the Blazers have lost their last five. So, what do ya think? This line as a good friend in the handicapping business says “It don’t make sense.”  Take PORTLAND!

Wisconsin vs Michigan 3:30 ET

Wolverines (+) over Badgers - Although Wisconsin won more and lost less overall this season Michigan was seeded third in the Big Ten playoffs and the Badgers were seeded fifth. But, on the national scale Wisconsin was No. 18 and Michigan was ranked 22nd. The Wolves have won the past three meetings including an early December 67-64 win as a 3-point underdog. Whisky enter with three straight wins while the Blue & Maze enter with three straight losses but have defeated Purdue and Maryland and today Wisconsin. Take MICHIGAN!

Tennessee vs Florida 1:00 ET

Volunteers (+) over Gators - These two SEC clubs ranked No. 8 Tennessee and No. 4 Florida have split their season series the past two years. These clubs routed each other home their home floor with Florida taking the first meeting in Gainesville 73-43 as 3-point favorites and the Volunteers returned the favor as a 3-point favorite winning 64-44 in Rocky Top. After a pair of routs like they each had it figures that this one comes down to the final buzzer. The Volunteers enter this fray on a three game win streak and seven of eight while the Gators have won their last five and 9-of-10. Florida is 9-1 ATS in their last 10 but fall short today. Take TENNESSEE!

New York at Golden State 8:30 ET

Knicks (+) over Warriors - Ten days ago these two met in Madison Square Garden where Stephen Curry at on one of his shooting displays that turned New York into her personal show. The Knicks who missed selection Curry out of Davidson by one draft spot they have been bemoaning that ever since. Golden State has won six straight games and are 13-2 since the Jimmy Butler trade while the Knicks are 2-2 on their west coast swing with this being their final stop. In the last meeting Karl-Anthony Towns was out and he has returned but it appears that Jalen Brunson who turned an ankle and is questionable. Still, it is NEW YORK!

New Orleans at San Antonio 8:30 ET

Pelicans (-) over Spurs - Does this make any sense at all where New Orleans who is 6-27 SU on the road is favored over a team with 11 less losses and is 16-16 SU at home. The Pelicans have won the last two meetings and covered 3-0 in their three meetings this season. part of the problem for San Antonio is that their two most productive players De’Aaron// Fox and Victor Wembanyama is out for the rest of the season. The Pelicans have dropped five of six while the Spurs have dropped four of five and still are alive in the ‘play-in’ race while the Pel’s have already been eliminated from any chance of postseason play. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Oklahoma City at Detroit 7:000 ET

Pistons (+) over Thunder - It has been over a year since these two met last January and Detroit managed a win in their worst season as a franchise and they have gone 8-2 ATS in the past 1- meets as well. OKC is off a huge win at Boston and have won eight of their last nine while the Pistons last time out fell to this year’s worst team in the league to the Wizards. The Thunder have a 12-game lead over Western Conference and surely be the No. 1 seed as they were last season.  Take DETROIT…& good luck!

Creighton vs St. John’s 6:30 ET

Blue Jays (+) over Red Storm - Creighton finished second in the Big East (15-5) three-games behind No. 1 seed St. John’s (18-2). Both of these clubs were great to their backers on the season with the Red Storm going 19-11-1 ATS and the Blue Jays were 18-11-2 ATS.  These two split a pair of home wins with the Jays and storm playing to a push as Creighton -1 wins 57-56 on New Year’s eve, the Johnnies (-6.5) returned the favor with a 79-73 non cover win four weeks ago. This one comes down to the final buzzer. Take CREIGHTON!

Michigan vs Maryland 3:30 ET

Wolverines (+) over Terrapins - Maryland (14-6) finished as the second seed in the expanded (16) Big Ten and and Michigan (14-6) was seeded third. Michigan gone off to a fast start (13-3) but ended the season just 13-18 ATS while the Terrapins were a respectable 18-14 ATS. Maryland has won the past three meetings including a 71-65 win in Ann Arbor as a one and a half point underdog. They were chasing the Wolves who had won the previous five meetings but enter this fray on a three game slide. They rebound here. Take MICHIGAN!

Badgers (+) over Spartans - No. 5 seed Wisconsin (13-7)  easily disposed of No. 4 seed UCLA and now face the Big Ten (16 teams) regular season champion Michigan State (17-3) who won the title by 3-games over second seed Maryland (14-6). Both of these clubs were big point-spread winners this season with the Badgers going 20-12-1 ATS and the Spartans were 22-9-1. In their one meeting in Lansing, State(-4.5) won and covered 71-62 as the held Whisky to 34% shooting from the floor. But the Badgers have won five of the last nine meetings and 16% from 3-point land. The Spartans play great defense but those number will not repeat. Take WISCONSIN!

Cleveland at Memphis 8:00 ET

Grizzlies (+) over Cavaliers - Cleveland is on their second 15-game win streak of the season after defeating the Celtics in Boston and have the NBA’s best record. Memphis after sleep walking through most of the season have now won four straight after a four-game slide. What I see in this match up is that the last time these two met in Memphis the Grizzlies were an 8.5 underdog and now with the Cavaliers on the 15 game win streak they come up a 2-point favorite. Something just doesn’t seem right. Take MEMPHIS!

North Carolina vs Duke 7:00 ET

Blue Devils (-) over Tar Heels - This side, I mean Duke is the more an unlikely choice here as they have defeated the Tar Heels twice already this season and covered both games easily this season are atoning after falling twice to the Heels last season. Most will gravitate to NC because they have won their last two and 8-of-9 and are looking to keep one game between the two close. I just think the Blue Devils are that much better and they have won their last nine themselves. I know it might be hard to take the Devils here but that will just make it sweeter…Take DUKE!

Marquette vs St. John’s 6:30 ET

Golden Eagles (+) over Red Storm - St. John’s swept the regular series winning 86-84 in overtime in Milwaukee six days ago and won 70-64 at MSG in New York the first week of February. Prior to that the Redmen (oops) Red guys had lost six straight to the Golden Eagles and former Warriors and Rainbows. Rick Pitino’s crew has won their last seven and nine of the past 10 entering this rematch while Marquette dropped the final two regular season games before taking down Xavier 89-87 with a 14-point second half comeback.This a prime spot for the Eagles…Take MARQUETTE!

Illinois vs Maryland 6:00 ET

Illini (+) over Terrapins -  This is a funky one as Illinois has been a major disappointment and pulled off the upset over Purdue to end the regular season and Iowa to start the Big Ten tourney and have won and ‘covered’ four straight entering this clash with the the Terrapins. Maryland finished tied for second with Michigan in the conference one game behind Michigan State. The Illini finished 12-8 and ranked as high as No 4 before getting bounced out of the Top-25. But, they have put it together when it counts the most. Take ILLINOIS!

Wisconsin vs UCLA 2:30 ET

Bruins (+) over Badgers - It is said that defense wins championships and for years Wisconsin has been a defensive team first but under their new coaching regime they have a different mind set. The Badgers have upped their offense geared up and score 80.8 PPG while allowing 70.9. UCLA under coach Mick Cronin has also been a defense first club and have remained that way allowing just 65.1 PPG. The Badgers have the big men to out rebound you and average four more per game then do the Bruins. But, the Bruins have two more assists, one more block and a whopping three more steals per game and they are just better. Take UCLA!

Oklahoma vs Kentucky 9:30 ET

Sooners (+) over Wildcats - Oklahoma who has won their last three loss at home to the Wildcats 83-82 three weeks ago, a game they believe that they should have won. The Sooners who were 6-12 in SEC regular season action and are on the NCAA bubble and must advance deep into the SEC tourney most likely to receive a bid to the Big Dance. The Wildcats have won more than two games in-a-row since starting 10-1. Take OKLAHOMA!

Villanova vs Connecticut 9:30 ET

Wildcats (+) over Huskies - Two time defending champion Connecticut has had a tough season as injuries have sort of derailed their attempt at a three-peat but the have come together of last winning their last four Big East encounters. Villanova has won four of their last five and split their two games against the Huskies going 2-0 ATS. Connecticut has won four of the past five meetings but the Wildcats have covered five of the past six meetings. Cats keep it close. Take VILLANOVA!

Kansas vs Arizona 9:00 ET

Jayhawks (+) over Wildcats - Both of these clubs have been disappointing this season and will try and regain their former high stature. Kansas is 3-1 against the Wildcats including an 83-76 victory as a 4-point home favorite five days ago. At one point this season Arizona won 13 of 14 but have dropped five of their past eight. Take KANSAS!

SMU vs Clemson 8:00 ET

Mustangs (+) over Tigers - These to met in late February in Dallas where Clemson won 79-69 as a 1-point underdog. That was the Tigers fourth straight win and they have won four more since then and enter this battle on an eight game run and they are 7-1 ATS. SMU has split there last five alternating wins (3) and losses (2) and are off of an easy outing against Syracuse. This will be Clemson’s 71st attempt at capturing the ACC title and they are the third seed entering 26-5. In the first meeting between these new rivals the Tigers shot14-29 from 3-point range but, the Mustangs had the advantage off the boards dominating 39-24.

Orlando at New Orleans 8:00 ET

Pelicans (+) over Magic - Orlando has won the last six meetings including a win back in November and are 8-2 in the past 10 meetings. But, the Magic have dropped six of seven and have one win in the past 21 days. New Orleans hasn’t  on the road and the Pelicans are 12-21 at home. been any better of late dropping five of the last six but are off of  win over the LA Clippers. With the return of Zion Williamson the Pelicans actually become a force. This game should be near a pick-em as Orlando is 12-20 on the road and New Orleans is 12-20 at home. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Indiana vs Oregon 12:00 ET

Hoosiers (+) over Ducks - Oregon is on a seven game win streak and yet are seeded eighth in the Big Ten while Indiana is seeded ninth has won four of their last five. The Ducks won their only meeting 10 days ago 73-64 as a 6.5-point home favorite. Hoosiers coach Mike Woodson is stepping down at season’s end and his players are looking to rally and send him out on a high note. Take INDIANA!

Minnesota at Denver 10:00 ET

Timberwolves (+) over Nuggets - There are trends that happen in sports that are difficult to understand and Minnesota has defeated Denver four straight times including twice this season once in opening week and again late January. Both games were at home for the winners but they have surprised me with their grit and of course Anthony Edwards who is honestly as good as anybody (well he could be he’s so young). T’wolves have won their last five going 4-1 ATS and the Nuggets have won 3-of-4 but are 1-4 ATS in their last five and just 3-7 in past 10 although they have won 14 of 18. Still, take…MINNESOTA!

Oklahoma vs. Georgia 9:30 ET

Sooners (+) over Bulldogs - New SEC rivals face each other in the opening round of the nation’s strongest conference. Georgia and Oklahoma met for the first time on the hardwood for the first time this season at Georgia and the Bulldogs prevailed 72-62 as a 7.5-point favorite. The Sooners need the win as they are on the bubble for sure and need a win and the Bulldogs aren’t guaranteed a spot either, although they have won their last four including an impressive win over Florida (Megabucks winner). The Sooners dropped a pair by one to Kentucky and by 3 to Ole MIss but closed with a wins at Texas and Missouri. Building confidence. In the first meting the ‘dogs had 20 free throws while OK had just nine.This time around the gap won’t be as big. Its OKLAHOMA!  

Phoenix at Houston 8:00 ET

Suns (+) over Rockets - Houston has won 40 games and have been a great money team all season and have won their last three on the heels of a three game win streak, with a pair of those wins over lowly New Orleans. Although Phoenix has covered their last four they have won just three of nine. This is the Suns four straight road game and the price is short…too short. Take PHOENIX!
