08-05-23 | Montreal v. Hamilton +3 | 27-14 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 12 m | Show
Montreal at Hamilton 7:00 ET Tiger-Cats (+) over Alouetttes- These two met in the second week of the CFL season and Montreal prevailed 38-12 and they have moved to the road favorite here. Hamilton is off a 16-12 road win where their defense stepped up after allowing 29 points in every game but one against Ottawa. The Tiger-cats are 3-1 SU and ATS after an 0-3 start. Take HAMILTON! |
08-04-23 | Toronto v. Calgary +9 | 7-20 | Win | 100 | 20 h 39 m | Show
Toronto at Calgary 9:00 ET Stampeders (+) over Argonauts- When looking at the overall stats of these two clubs we can see that there isn’t much of a difference and then when you see their records and wonder why. Toronto is 6-0 and for good reason although their defense is ranked 7th in overall yards surrendered they are No. 1 in turnover with a +14 while their offense ranked No. 4 has yet to commit a turnover. That’s it in a nutshell! Calgary has dropped their last two games at Montreal and an OT home loss to Ottawa. The Argos are the defending Grey Cub Champions and are 6-0 ATS with five wins coming by 12 points or more and we understand how dominate they have been but I don’t expect them to go undefeated...Take CALGARY! |
08-03-23 | BC v. Winnipeg -5.5 | Top | 14-50 | Win | 100 | 20 h 59 m | Show |
British Columbia at Winnipeg Blue Bombers (-) over Lions- These two are without a doubt the top two best teams in the CFL and their team stats bear that out. BC who posted an impressive 3006 win at Winnipeg in the first meeting on June 22 the second week of the season, their only blemish this season came the following week at Toronto falling 45-24. Winnipeg has the No. 1 offense averaging 390 YPG and their defense is ranked No. 3 allowing 341 YPG. not, to be out done the Lions have CFL No. 1 defense allowing just 281 YPG and thr no. 2 offense averaging 389 YPG. The problem for BC is that will be against a team bent on revenge and they will be using their back-up quarterback while th Blue Bombers have two-time MVP Zack Collaros who was held to 191 yards in the first meeting has thrown for over 300 yards in his last two. Revenge and a better QB... Take WINNIPEG! |
07-20-23 | Edmonton Elks v. Winnipeg -14.5 | 14-28 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 26 m | Show
Edmonton at Winnipeg 8:30 ET Blue Bombers (-) over Elks- This contest should be so lopsided that the only was Winnipeg doesn’t crush Edmonton is if they just don’t even come to play and lay down. After getting upset in overtime on Saturday by Ottawa the Bombers will be back on the field just five days later against the CFL’s worst. The Elks are ranked dead last on offense and second to last on defense and they are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Bombers are not only 25-10 ATS in their last 35 home games but 4-0 ATS their last four as hosts against the Elks. Take WINNIPEG! |
07-14-23 | Toronto v. Montreal +6 | Top | 35-27 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 22 m | Show |
Toronto and Montreal 7:05 ET Alouettes (+) over Argonauts- Toronto is a perfect 3-0 both SU and ATS and leads the CFL in rushing averaging 137.5 YPG. But, they are fortunate to be undefeated as their defense is ranked 7th overall among the nine teams and their passing defense is ranked last. Montreal opened with a pair of wins over Ottawa and Hamilton and then dropped the next two falling to Winnipeg and British Columbia. Argonauts are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven visits to Montreal. Take ALOUETTES! |
07-13-23 | Hamilton -115 v. Edmonton Elks | 37-29 | Win | 100 | 25 h 59 m | Show
Hamilton at Edmonton 7:00 ET Tiger-Cats (-) over Elks- Last week I mentioned how the low end of the CFL are real dregs and this week you can see what I mean when the two worst and I mean the absolute worst in this league will meet. A close friend once said when speaking of an ugly match-up ‘there’s got to be a winner.’ So, here we are with the worse of two bad clubs so to speak or between a rock and a hard place...Okay enough of that, But, the Elks are truly terrible and average a league low 285 YPG on offense and their defense is also last allowing nearly 400 YPG. Now, Hamilton is not that much better but did post their first win last time out while the Elks gave away a game allowing three scores in the final 1:04. Win-less at home and an underdog looks tempting but I can’t do it. I expect a lot of company with the side an I usually don’t want it but...but...take HAMILTON! |
07-06-23 | Edmonton Elks v. Saskatchewan -7.5 | Top | 11-12 | Loss | -100 | 24 h 12 m | Show |
Edmonton at Saskatchewan 9:00 ET Roughriders (-) over Elks- You know with the CFL being a nine-team league and comprised for the most part of players that have reached their ‘Peter Principle’ level and it is mediocre at best and at worst you have Edmonton 0-4 SU, 0-4 ATS. When CFL teams are bad thy are very bad and teams have gone win-less and have had one-win seasons. The Elks were 4-14 last season off a three-win season the year before. Last year they surrendered 599 points and the year before they scored just 246 going 3-11. Edmonton is at the bottom of the CFL on offense averaging just 265 YPG and are eighth of nine teams on defense allowing 402 YPG. The Roughriders are No. 2 on offense gaining 403 PPG and that should be enough. Lay-it take SASKATCHEWAN! |
07-03-23 | BC -3 v. Toronto | Top | 24-45 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 23 m | Show |
British Columbia at Toronto 7:10 ET Lions (-) over Argonauts- The defending and undefeated Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts are at home and are a field goal underdog at home. This might seem a bit odd and it is other than the Lions are 3-0 and have had three impressive dominating wins. Toronto has a five-yard average offensive advantage but, the BC defense hold a 115-yard per game advantage and that is significant. The Argo’s will rely on a strong run and and stout defense against the run but fall short on both sides of the ball when it is put in the air. Take BRITISH COLUMBIA! |
07-01-23 | Winnipeg -6 v. Montreal | Top | 17-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 20 m | Show |
Winnipeg at Montreal 7:00 ET Blue Bombers (-) over Alouettes- Winnipeg’s offense which has been dominating the CFL in recent seasons took the weak off last time out and was thumped by British Columbia 30-6. Montreal has played well but they will be up against an angry bunch. Look for Blue Bombers offense to romp. Take WINNIPEG! |
06-25-23 | Toronto v. Edmonton Elks +6.5 | Top | 43-31 | Loss | -107 | 9 h 35 m | Show |
Toronto at Edmonton 7:00 ET Elks (+) over Argonauts- This appears to be a mismatch as 0-2 Edmonton can’t seem to get out of their own way on offense averaging just 219 yards in two games. They gain a poultry 63.5 yards rushing and barley 150 yards passing ranking dead last in both in this nine team league. This will be just the second game for Toronto after a bye last week. The Argonauts are slow starters for the most part and are 1-6 ATS the last three seasons in June and 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings. Take EDMONTON! |
06-24-23 | Saskatchewan +3 v. Calgary | 29-26 | Win | 100 | 9 h 44 m | Show
Saskatchewan and Calgary 7:00 ET Roughriders (+) over Stampeders- I know that past performances have had Calgary getting the best of it but this season if number don’t lie it should be different. Saskatchewan is ranked No. 3 overall on defense and No. 3 on defense in a nine-tam league while the Stampeders are dead center I both categories ranked No. 5 with both. Calgary 7-20 ATS in their last 27 home games. Take SASKATCHEWAN! |
06-23-23 | Montreal +3 v. Hamilton | 38-12 | Win | 100 | 10 h 57 m | Show
Montreal and Hamilton 7:30 ET Alouettes (+) over Tiger-Cats- Okay, straight-up no foolin! I do not see either of these team making it to the Grey Cup, but it does set nicely for Montreal. To start with they already have a win under their belt as they won their opener at home over Ottawa 19-12 two weeks ago. So, entering with two weeks to prepare off their bye the Alouettes should handle the 0-2 and offensively challenged Tiger-Cats who will be facing a defense that surrendered just 231 yards i their victory. Alouettes are 24-11 ATS in their last 35 games on the road while Hamilton is 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games after a loss. Take MONTREAL! |
06-22-23 | BC +6 v. Winnipeg | Top | 30-6 | Win | 100 | 11 h 11 m | Show |
British Columbia at Winnipeg 8:30 ET Lions (-) over Blue Bombers- This should be a good one as both of these clubs dominated their first two opponents. The powerful Winnipeg offense put up 499 yards in Week 1 against Hamilton and then 409 last week against Saskatchewan but were out-gained by over 50 yards. British Columbia shut bout Edmonton 22-0 last week and took out Calgary 25-15 as a 12.5-point underdog in week one. The Lions gained 431 yards last week and 423 the week before and they held both opponents to a combined 264 yards rushing and just 145 yards passing ranking their defense No. 1 by far. Take the points with BC LIONS |
06-18-23 | Hamilton -2 v. Toronto | Top | 14-32 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 17 m | Show |
Hamilton at Toronto 7:00 ET Tiger-Cats (-) over Argonauts- There is some thing really, really wrong here as the defending CFL Grey Cup Champions are underdogs in their season opener at home. Toronto was the last man standing in the CFL defeating Winnipeg 24-23 holding the powerful Blue Bombers offense to just 286 offensive yards in the championship game. Tigers-Cats have a game under their belt and was trashed by the same Blue Bombers last week. Take HAMILTON! |
06-17-23 | Edmonton Elks v. BC -7 | Top | 0-22 | Win | 100 | 17 h 5 m | Show |
Edmonton at British Columbia 7:00 ET Lions (-) over Elks- What we have come to see so far in CFL play is that with offenses having only three downs to make a first down, teams with the better offenses have an even better chance for victory by bigger margins. Edmonton does not move the ball while l gaining just 275 total yards and with only 73 rushing. BC put up 25 points and 423 yards as an underdog (+2.5) against Calgary in their opener. Elks are 2-8 ATS vs. the West and 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings. Take BRITISH COLUMBIA! |
06-16-23 | Winnipeg -6.5 v. Saskatchewan | 45-27 | Win | 100 | 8 h 60 m | Show
Winnipeg at Saskatchewan 9:00 ET Blue Bombers (-) over Roughriders- The top offense in the CFL showed no signs of weakness in their 499 yard outing against Hamilton on June 9 and I expect more of the same here. The Bombers had a 233 yards gained advantage over the tigers-cats while the Roughriders were squeaking by Edmonton gaining only 314 total yards. Take WINNIPEG! |
06-11-23 | Saskatchewan v. Edmonton Elks -2.5 | 17-13 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 40 m | Show
Saskatchewan at Edmonton 7:00 ET Elks (-) over Roughriders- These were without question the worst teams in the West and the visiting Roughriders opened a 2.5 favorite and the line has swung 5-points to where the home Edmonton is now the 2.5-point favorite. A swing that in this time of the year is something to respect as information flows. A team that ha gone 0-16 SU and 3-13 ATS in their last 16 home games has been moved to the favorite. Elks 6.5 foot QB Taylor Cornelius is impossible to contain near the goal line. Take EDMONTON! |
06-10-23 | Ottawa +2.5 v. Montreal | Top | 12-19 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 1 m | Show |
Ottawa at Montreal 7:00 ET RedBlacks (+) over Alouettes- Well, we are going to find out tonight if the CFL plays to the same tune as the NFL and most other football. Here we have Montreal at Home having gone to the playoffs three straight years hosting an Ottawa football team that hasn’t made the playoffs in any of those three years. So, what is the deal...my issue even in a league where you can score a one-point play that with those two resumes why is the home team favored by less the a field goal. Obviously the odds-maker believe that the RedBlacks have a shot at winning this contest outright. I will be happy with an ATS win. Take OTTAWA |
06-09-23 | Hamilton v. Winnipeg -5 | 31-42 | Win | 100 | 22 h 31 m | Show
Hamilton at Winnipeg 8:30 ET Blue Bombers (-) over Tiger-Cats- Winnipeg fell short of completing the Gray Cup Hat-trick and will have two-time Most Outstanding Player Zach Collaros quarterbacking and he threw for 4,183 yards last season while sitting out two games. Hamilton had the number one rushing defense in the CFL last season and added QB Bo Levi Mitchell to perk up the offense...it won’t be enough. Take BLUE BOMBERS! |
06-08-23 | BC v. Calgary -3 | 25-15 | Loss | -107 | 18 h 1 m | Show
BC Lions at Calgary 9:00 ET Stampeders (-) over Lions- In so many ways this is so the CFL, the opener pits two teams who played their final of two preseason games against each other. These two clubs are rated so closely that they both have win totals of 9.5. BC led the CFL in total offense last season and defeated Calgary last week 25-22 as an underdog at home as Lions QB Vernon Adams Jr. went 12-for 12 against a defense of future cuts. Although BC led the CFL in total offense and passing yards last season and had a better defense statistically they are not in a good spot here. It is not to be in the opener...This seems like a home and home series. Take CALGARY! |
08-19-22 | BC v. Saskatchewan +5 | 28-10 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 5 m | Show
British Columbia at Saskatchewan 10:00 ET Roughriders (+) over Lions- There is no question who the best team is in the nine-team CFL and it is the B.C. Lions who are 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS including a 32-17 pounding of tonight's opponent. Although the Lions are ranked No. 1 in both offense and defense they are not perfect. The Roughriders have dominated this series winning seven of nine ATS. Take SASKATCHEWAN! |
08-13-22 | BC v. Calgary +3.5 | Top | 41-40 | Win | 100 | 18 h 32 m | Show |
British Columbia at Calgary 7:00 ET Stampeders (+) over Lions- B.C. Is without a doubt the best team in the CFL as they lead in every vital offense and defensive categories. They are No. 1 in Total Offense and Total Defense, gaining 458 yards per contest while allowing just 299.9 yards per game. They are also No. 1 in rushing and passing yardage and pretty much dominate all aspect of CFL play. The Stampers have shown that they can play with the Lions in the pasted defeating them twice last season. Look for more of the same. Take CALGARY! |
08-06-22 | Edmonton Elks v. BC -10 | 14-46 | Win | 100 | 20 h 29 m | Show
Edmonton at British Columbia 10:00 ET Lions over Elks- In a nine team league Edmonton is dead last on offense averaging just 315.9 YPG while BC's defense in ranked No. 1 allowing just 313 YPG and I see the difference is too great to over come. I understand that the points are supposed to be the equalizer but there are enough points to give here, Take BRITISH COLUMBIA! |
07-30-22 | Winnipeg v. Calgary +1.5 | Top | 35-28 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 57 m | Show |
Winnipeg at Calgary 7:00 ET Stampeders (+) over Blue Bombers- Winnipeg has been the best team in the CFL even before this 7-0 start to the season but they have been very consistent. Calgary at 4-0 is 2-0 both SU and ATS at home and is No.2 in offense averaging 388 YPG I bring this up because the undefeated Blue Bombers are ranked No. 8 in this nine team league on offense gaining just 337 YPG. Winnies 10 turnover forced on defense is the difference. Stampeders are 6-0 ATS after a SU loss and win here. Take CALGARY! |
07-29-22 | BC v. Saskatchewan +1 | Top | 32-17 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 37 m | Show |
British Columbia at Saskatchewan 9:00 ET |
07-28-22 | Montreal v. Hamilton -3 | Top | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 39 h 54 m | Show |
Montreal at Hamilton 7:30 ET Tiger-Cats (+) over Alouettes- We cashed in with Montreal last time out and have no difficulty playing against them in this one. Don't let their records mislead you as Hamilton (1-5) has out-gained three of their last four opponents and 4-of-last-5. The Alouettes are off a 40-33 win over Ottawa and are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games after a straight up win. Tiger-Cats are 9-4-2 ATS in their last 16 games against the East and 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Take HAMILTON! |
07-21-22 | Montreal v. Ottawa +3 | Top | 40-33 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 26 m | Show |
Montreal at Ottawa 7:00 ET RedBlacks (+) over Alouettes- In a nine team league Ottawa is the lone winless club as they host what is probably the second worse team in the CFL. The RedBlacks have lost all five games with season with their last win coming over this Montreal squad in the final game of last season. The Alouettes are 0-3 on the road and if there is anyone Ottawa can beat it is this group who rank eighth on offense. Take OTTAWA! |
07-16-22 | Ottawa v. Hamilton -8 | Top | 23-25 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
Ottawa at Hamilton 5:00 ET Tiger-Cats (-) over RedBlacks- With these two 0-4 clubs (1-7 ATS) going at it Saturday the thing I want to say is God Bless America and the NFL. Looks like it should be a pretty even game when comparing offenses and defenses but the 'number' is kind of drastic for a team ranked 8-of-9 on offense. But, injuries are a part of the game and the RedBlacks are hurting as well as 4-10 ATS on the road and 0-4 ATS in their last four stops at Tiger-Cats. Take HAMILTON! |
07-16-22 | Saskatchewan v. Toronto +3 | 24-30 | Win | 100 | 3 h 8 m | Show
Saskatchewan at Toronto 2:00 ET Argonauts (+) over Roughriders- Toronto is coming off a 22-23 loss but cover against Winnipeg after having gotten blown out the previous week against B.VC. 44-3. Saskatchewan posted a pair of impressive wins the last two weeks pounding Montreal 41-20 and Ottawa 28-13 in home wins. The roughriders have had their way in the series between these two as they are 4-1 in the last five meetings and an even more impressive 11-5 ATS in Toronto. But, the Argonauts are 5-2-1 ATS after a straight up loss. Number don't show it but it's...TORONTO! |
07-14-22 | Edmonton Elks v. Montreal -9 | 32-31 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 48 m | Show
Edmonton at Montreal 7:30 ET Alouettes (-) over Elks- When looking at the Elks (former Eskimos) we clearly see the worst that the CFL has to offer. They are dead last in both offense and defense surrendering the most yards per game and gaining the least on offense. Now, this might not as big a mis-match as it looks as Montreal in dead center in the nine-team league ranking No. 4 of defense and No. 5 on offense (you can't get anymore centered than that!). The Alouettes have scored 103 points and given up 104 points thus far and the 'price' is probably right. But, coming off a 41-20 loss to Saskatchewan is easier than Edmonton's 49-6 home loss to Calgary. Hold your breath and lay it. Take MONTREAL!f |

07-07-22 | Calgary -3.5 v. Edmonton Elks | Top | 49-6 | Win | 100 | 22 h 41 m | Show |
Calgary at Edmonton 9:00 ET Stampeders (-) over Elks- I'm a numbers guy and the tale of the tape here reads one way and it's all Calgary. Maybe not so much on defense where they rank No. 7 allowing 393 YPG but Edmonton is the worst in the league allowing 420 TPG. On offense is where the difference is pronounced as The Stampeders gain 391.3 ranking No. 2 while once again the Elks are dead last gaining just 318 YPG. Stampers are 5-0 ATS in their last five after aATS loss and 5-1 ATS in their last six on the road. Take CALGARY! |
07-04-22 | Winnipeg v. Toronto +5.5 | Top | 23-22 | Win | 100 | 20 h 51 m | Show |
Winnipeg at Toronto 7:30 ET Argonauts (+) over Blue Bombers- With only nine teams in the CFL it's hard to understand how Winnipeg is 3-0 when they have the seventh ranked offense and their defense is squarely in the middle of the pack racked No. 5. Toronto has yet to 'cover' in a pair of starts and were totally wasted by BC last week 44-3 managing just 11 First Downs while surrendering 35 FDs. The Blue Bombers have dominated this series winning eight of 10 ATS and the Agros may be the worst in this league but after getting crushed last week on the road they return home and where they posted a 20-19 win over Montreal. They feel better at home and lick their wounds here. Take TORONTO! |
07-02-22 | Montreal +5 v. Saskatchewan | Top | 20-41 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 54 m | Show |
Montreal at Saskatchewan 7:00 ET Alouettes (+) over Roughriders- Montreal may be only 1-2 in the standings but where it counts against the spread they are 3-0. After opening with a pair of road losses the Als defeated this Saskatchewan team 37-13 handing them their first loss after starting 2-0. Many will think that last weeks loser will extract revenue against the same opponent the following week. The Alouettes are 7-2 ATS in their last nine trips to Saskatchewan. Take MONTREAL! |
07-01-22 | Edmonton Elks +7.5 v. Hamilton | 29-25 | Win | 100 | 9 h 51 m | Show
Edmonton at Hamilton 7:30 ET Elks (+) over Tiger-cats- Friday night is Canada Day and what better way to celebrate than with some CFL football? The Hamilton Tiger-Cats play host to the Edmonton Elks on Friday night as both teams have yet to tally a win this season. Something has to give for one of them under the lights at Tim Hortons Field. Through a series of unfortunate circumstances the Elks and Tiger-cats meet this week with matching and disappointing 0-3 records. The obvious good news here is that someone is walking out of this Canada Day encounter at 1-3, barring a tie, of course. The Tiger-cats have shown in bright bursts what they’re capable of this year, but haven’t been able to string it together for a full game yet. After the Elks’ Week 1 blowout loss to the Lions, they’ve shown steady improvement since, holding a fourth-quarter lead over Saskatchewan in Week 2 and were in control against Calgary in Week 3 until the third quarter. With the Tiger-cats at home, the pressure is more on them to get the win this week. Take EDMONTON! |
06-30-22 | BC v. Ottawa +2.5 | Top | 34-31 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 29 m | Show |
British Columbia at Ottawa 7:30 ET RedBlacks (+) over Lions- B.C opened this season with a pair of impressive home wins defeating Toronto and Edmonton by a combined 103-18 margin. Ottawaon the other hand, are fresh off a bye and with an 0-2 record, they’ll be hungry to get their first win of the campaign. They lost twice both home and away against Winnipeg to start the year. At home...take OTTAWA! |
06-24-22 | Hamilton +6 v. Winnipeg | Top | 12-26 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 11 m | Show |
Hamilton and Winnipeg 8:30 ET Tigercats (+) over Blue Bombers- Stat wise Hamilton (0-2) is one of the better clubs in this nine team league ranking third on offense averaging 398 yards per game. Winnipeg has with second worst defense allowing 382 YPG while ranking dead last on offense averaging just 316 YPG. The Blue Bombers have won the last three meetings but fall short here. Take HAMILTO |
06-23-22 | Saskatchewan v. Montreal +2.5 | 13-37 | Win | 100 | 2 h 58 m | Show
Saskatchewan at Montreal 7:30 ET Alouettes (+) over Roughriders –The Montreal Alouettes will play their first home game of the 2022 season as they’re set host the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Thursday night. It will also be the third consecutive Thursday night game for Montreal to start the year. Despite their 0-2 record, the Alouettes have been in both games they’ve played in this season. They lost their season opener 30-27 to Calgary, before suffering a hearting breaking 20-19 loss to the Toronto Argonauts. Montreal’s defence will need to maintain defensive pressure for 60 minutes against Riders quarterback Cody Fajardo. Fajardo has thrown for 558 yards and a pair of touchdowns through two games. It’s still early, but his average 9.6 yards per completion so far this year is the highest of his career. Take MONTREAL! |
09-14-19 | Hamilton v. Calgary -6.5 | 18-19 | Loss | -107 | 5 h 4 m | Show
Hamilton at Calgary 6:00 ET Stampeders (-) over Tiger-Cats- Hamilton is off of a bye week and comes to Calgary winning their last four going 1-3 ATS. Calgary is 4-1 ATS in their last five games and is 5-0 SU in their last five home games against the Tiger-Cats. Bo Levi Mitchell has returned to QB the Stampeders and he will be the difference. Take CALGARY! |
09-13-19 | Ottawa v. BC -5 | Top | 5-29 | Win | 100 | 33 h 10 m | Show |
Ottawa at British Columbia 10:00 ET Lions (-) over RedBlacks- The CFL bottom feeders meet in week 14 of action with Ottawa (3-8) entering having lost eight of nine while BC (1-10) has dropped seven straight. The Lions have won 13 of the past 18 meetings between the two and is 4-2 ATS in the last six meetings. There is one oddity among the trends and that is the RedBlacks are 28-12 ATS in their last 40 road games but 2-8 ATS against teams with losing records and no one has lost more than the Lions. Take BRITISH COLUMBIA! |

09-07-19 | Saskatchewan +2.5 v. Winnipeg | Top | 10-35 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 47 m | Show |
New York Yankees at Boston 4:04 ET Red Sox over Yankees- If Boston is going to do anything down the stretch they will have to get bye their nemesis the New York Yankees who have the best record in the AL and an 8.5-game lead. The Red Sox who are just 36-36 at home and below the breakwater mark against winning teams. They will start rookie Travis Lakins (0-1, 4.70 ERA) who had a shaky outing in his first appearance against the Angels and is making his first MLB start. New York will start J.A. Happ (11-8, 5.34) who is 2-0 with a 4.24 ERA against the Sox this season. It's a matter need and Boston's is greater. Take the RED SOX! |

Winnipeg at Edmonton 9:00 ET Eskimos (-) over Blue Bombers- After comparing the stats and 'numbers' surrounding this matchup it appears to me that the Eskimos are an inflated favorite against what appears to be a slightly superior team and that draws me to the favorites side. The Blue Bombers are 19-8 ATS against teams with winning record and 12-5 ATS in their last 17 games overall. Yet, they are a heavy underdog here. I don't trust it...take EDMONTON! |
08-08-19 | Calgary v. Winnipeg -7 | Top | 24-26 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 50 m | Show |
Calgary and Winnipeg 8:30 ET Blue Bombers (-) over Stampeders- A first place matchup in the West Division with clubs moving in opposite directions. Calgary has won their last three outright while Winnipeg has dropped their last two. The Blue Bombers (Power Play) blew a 20-0 lead to Toronto when they started looking ahead to this encounter and got caught losing outright 28-27. They will be motivated tonight and the odds maker thinks so too. The Bombers haven't been anything close to high a number. Lay-it! Take WINNIPEG! |
08-03-19 | Edmonton v. Calgary | 18-24 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 55 m | Show
Edmonton at Calgary 7:00 ET Eskimos over Stampeders- Calgary's once formidable defense has taken a step back this season as they are surrendering 431 yards a game and their once proud running game has taken a step back averaging just 71 yards per contest and just 52 yards on the ground at home. The Stampeders are 18-5 straight up in the last 23 meetings but 0-5 ATS in the last five encounters. Take EDMONTON! |
08-02-19 | Ottawa v. Montreal -6.5 | 30-27 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 9 m | Show
Ottawa at Montreal 7:00 ET Alouettes over RedBlacks- Montreal who two short years ago ent 18 straight hames without a victory have shown that they are more competitive the last season and a half. Previous stats will fade the Alouettes as Ottawa has won the last five meetings both SU and ATS in Montreal but things change. This time around it is Montreal that has the hammer as they are 4-1 ATS this season and post another win tonight. Take the ALOUETTES! |
08-01-19 | Winnipeg -14 v. Toronto | Top | 27-28 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 8 m | Show |
Winnipeg at Toronto 7:00 ET Blue Bombers (-) over Argonauts- The Blue Bombers are off of their first loss of the season while Toronto is looking for their first win of the year. The level of talent between these two clubs is vast and there is little chance of it closing anytime soon. Winnipeg is averaging 30-7 Points per contest while allowing just 17.2, while the Argonauts scores just 12.5 points per game and have surrendered 214 points overall. The Bombers have won and covered six of the last seven meetings and do it again here. Take WINNIPEG! |
07-20-19 | Edmonton v. Montreal +6 | Top | 10-20 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show |
Edmonton at Montreal 4:00 ET Alouettes (+) over Eskimos- “Break-up the Alouettes” that cry has yet to be heard in the Great North as Montreal has posted a pair of heavy underdog upsets over Hamilton and Ottawa and is now 2-2. Edmonton opened the season with a 32-25 win over the Alouettes continuing their mastery of Montreal inning the last five meetings straight-up and going 5-0 ATS in the last five road meetings. The Alou's have a much improved offense and will score enough to get the money here. Take MONTREAL! |
07-19-19 | Ottawa +11 v. Winnipeg | 1-31 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 11 m | Show
Ottawa at Winnipeg 8:30 ET RedBlacks (+) over Blue Bombers- Winnipeg who is 38-17-1 ATS in their last 56 games overall is hosting the CFL's winningest ATS club in Ottawa who is 26-10 ATS in their last 36 road games. The Blue Bombers (4-0, 4-0 ATS) have already defeated the RedBlacks 29-14 a couple of weeks ago as they average 34.5 points per game and allow just 19.8 points. Ottawa had a bye last week and they needed it after losing to lowly Montreal 36-19 and look to atone with a strong effort here. Take OTTAWA! |
07-18-19 | Toronto v. Calgary -12 | 16-26 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 2 m | Show
Toronto at Calgary 9:00 ET Stampeders (-) over Argonauts- I am sure that there will be tons of money bet on Calgary here and usually that sends up a 'red' flag to me as I prefer not be on the side of 'heavy' money. But, in this spot it can't be avoided. To start with this Toronto team in the past three season's since their winning the Grey Cup after posting a 10-8 record and ran through the CFL playoffs has been the worst team in professional sports. Calgary has taken advantage of the Agro's winning 10 of their last 11 meetings and is 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. The Stampeders are off of a rare upset loss to Hamilton and will be loaded here against a teams that has scored just 59 points in four games while surrendering 49.5 point per game. This shouldn't be close. Lay it with CALGARY! |
07-13-19 | Calgary v. Hamilton -4 | 23-30 | Win | 100 | 20 h 5 m | Show
Calgary and Hamilton 7:00 ET Tiger-Cats (-) over Stampeders- Things in the CFL can change quickly and the Tiger-cats have turned the corner and have what most believe is the best offense in the league. Hamilton's Jeremiah Masoli has thrown for 1325 yards for an offense that averages 402 yards including 5.4 yards per rushing attempt. Calgary has used three different quarterbacks and none of them has shown any promise. After getting upset by Montreal the Tiger-cats will be ready to go here. Take HAMILTON! |
07-12-19 | Toronto v. Winnipeg -14 | 21-48 | Win | 100 | 22 h 27 m | Show
Toronto at Winnipeg 8:30 ET Blue Bombers (-) over Argonauts- How bad is Toronto, well to start with they won just 4 of 18 games last season and are 0-3 (1-2 ATS) this season and are 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games. The Argonauts ran for just 41 yards in 11 attempts last time out and are 1-4 ATS in their last five trips to Winnipeg. The Blue Bombers are 3-0 not only straight-up but ATS as well and are 5-1 both SU and ATS in the last six meetings overall. The points are heavy but the talent difference is too great for Toronto to overcome even with the generous points. Take the BLUE BOMBERS! |
07-06-19 | BC -7.5 v. Toronto | 18-17 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 38 m | Show
British Columbia at Toronto 7:00 ET Lions (-) over Argonauts- This one causes some concern as a pair of winless clubs go at it in Toronto (0-2) where the hapless Argonauts host British Columbia (0-3) where the visitor is a heavy favorite. How can an 0-3 team be favored on the road might raise some eyebrows as the Lions look for their first win. Toronto has been absolutely atrocious since pulling off their major upset in the Grey Cup two years ago and are just 17-35 in their last 52 games overall and don't have enough to keep this one close. Take LIONS! |
07-05-19 | Winnipeg v. Ottawa -3.5 | 29-14 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 27 m | Show
Winnipeg at Ottawa 7:30 ET Redblacks over Blue Bombers- Both Clubs enter this battle 2-0 with the Blue Bombers going 2-0 ATS while the Redblacks are 1-1 ATS. Winnipeg has some great stats entering this contest going 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall and are 21-8 ATS in their last 29 road games and are 4-0 ATS in their last four trips to Ottawa. But, the Redblacks have had an extra week to get ready coming off of a bye week and have shown and offense that can get it done scoring 32 and 44 points in their two outings. Take REDBLACKS! |
07-04-19 | Hamilton v. Montreal +12.5 | Top | 29-36 | Win | 100 | 10 h 45 m | Show |
Hamilton at Montreal 7:30 ET Alouettes (+) over Tigers-Cats- Hamilton enters this contest 3-0 both straight-up and ATS while the Alouettes have yet to win (0-2) and lost to the Tiger-Cats 41-10 last week at Hamilton. Montreal has had their issues but in the second of back-to-back games after getting destroyed last week will adjust and the Tiger-Cats will be a bit cocky and my get caught here. Take MONTREAL |
06-27-19 | Edmonton v. Winnipeg -5 | Top | 21-28 | Win | 100 | 8 h 18 m | Show |
Edmonton and Winnipeg 8:30 ET Blue Bombers over Eskimos- Both these clubs are undefeated in the early going as Edmonton has won their first two contests both at home and now travel to Winnipeg to play the 1-0 Blue Bombers. Winnipeg opened with a 10-point win at Vancouver and have had an extra week to prepare coming off of a bye week. The Bombers take advantage of the added time and will be ready to win their home opener. Take WINNIPEG! |
06-15-19 | Winnipeg v. BC | 33-23 | Loss | -104 | 12 h 4 m | Show
Winnipeg at British Columbia 10:00 ET Lions over Blue Bombers- Winnipeg made it to the CFL Western Division championship game last season falling to eventual Grey Cup Champion Calgary 22-14. BC, meanwhile is one of five new coaches in a nine team league as DeVone Claybrooks takes the helm. The Lions have won seven of its last 10 home games against the Bombers but Winnipeg has a 8-2 ATS edge in those meetings. Mike Reilly who returns to the Lions and he lead the league in passing yards 5,562 and had 30 touchdown passes. Take BRITISH COLUMBIA! |
11-11-18 | BC +1 v. Hamilton | Top | 8-48 | Loss | -107 | 66 h 16 m | Show |
British Columbia at Hamilton 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Tiger-Cats- These two finished their regular season action on back-to-back weekends at the end of September each holding serve and winning at home (we had the Power Play winner). But, the season has different effects on one club to another as it is a long season (18 games/20 weeks) when these two last met at Hamilton the Tiger-Cats were -6.5 and finished the season 8-10 and now are just a one-point home favorite. British Columbia finished the season 9-9 closing with a pair of losses but that isn't that bad as Hamilton has dropped their last three and five of their last seven. The Tiger-Cats have little home field advantage as they are 2-6 ATS in their last eight at home. Take BRITISH COLUMBIA! |
10-26-18 | Calgary v. Winnipeg -3.5 | Top | 21-29 | Win | 100 | 7 h 56 m | Show |
Calgary at Winnipeg 8:30 ET Blue Bombers (-) over Stampeders- This is the first time that Calgary have been an underdog this entire season. They have already clinch their playoff spot and may not be motivated here. After a 4-game losing streak they responded and are currently on a 4-games SU and ATS win streak. The Blue Bombers seem to pay their best at home against teams with winning records as they are 15-5 ATS in their last 20. Take WINNIPEG! |
10-19-18 | Hamilton v. Ottawa +1.5 | 31-35 | Win | 100 | 28 h 14 m | Show
Hamilton at Ottawa 7:30 ET Tigers-Cats (+) over RedBlacks- This is the first of back-to-back meetings between a pair of 8-7 clubs tied for the East Division lead. I understand that number never lie but that they can be very misleading. Hamilton enters this fray with more points scored and less points allowed but are 2-7 straight-up in the last nine meetings. Although the RedBlacks have the stats against them going 2-4 ATS in their last six home games while the Tigers-Cats are 5-2 straight-up in their last seven they win here. Take OTTAWA! |
10-13-18 | Saskatchewan v. Winnipeg -3.5 | Top | 0-31 | Win | 100 | 18 h 19 m | Show |
Saskatchewan at Winnipeg 2:00 ET Blue Bombers (-) over Roughriders- Saskatchewan has won seven of their last eight straight-up and now they show up as an underdog to the Blue Bombers who have won and 'covered' their last three. The Roughriders are 2-0 this season against the Bomber and winning in Winnipeg 32-27 as a 4-point dog. This time Bombers will avoid the 'Hat-Trick.' Take WINNIPEG! |
09-29-18 | BC v. Hamilton -7 | Top | 10-40 | Win | 100 | 6 h 55 m | Show |
British Columbia at Hamilton 4:00 ET Tiger-Cats (-) over Lions- This line looks a little over inflated as Hamilton is just 6-7 and 5-6-1 ATS while BC is 6-6 and 7-4 ATS. The Tigers-Cats have dropped their last two and lost the first game of the series last week with the Lions winning 35-32 in OT at home. I see Hamilton getting a bit of revenge here as such a strong favorite in their own backyard. Lay the points and take HAMILTON! |
09-28-18 | Toronto v. Calgary -13 | Top | 16-38 | Win | 100 | 76 h 40 m | Show |
Toronto at Calgary Stampeders (-) over Argonauts- Bad spot for Toronto as the Stampeders are off a bye and ready to make their late season push. The Argonauts who are 0-5 on the road are off a disappointing 30-29 loss to Saskatchewan while Calgary 6-0 at home are rested and have already pasted the Argos in June 41-7. Add that Toronto is 2-12 ATS in their last 14 Friday games. Take CALGARY! |
