New England 23, Seattle 20 - Few expected these two to be here and New England is still slighted by general public. We hear of the Patriots soft schedule and that the teams they faced in the playoffs had major offensive flaws. I just don't see the Seahawks running away from the Patriots although Maye has to protect the ball better (fumbles) to win here. Take NEW ENGLAND!

LA Rams at Seattle 6:30 ET

Rams (+) over Seahawks - My knee jerk reaction upon hearing the opening line was that the Seahawks were in trouble. Well, I must say that the number opened at -3 in some houses but the first price I saw had Seattle favored by 1.5-points. Looking at the final four teams still alive Los Angeles has been the least impressive. Squeaking by Carolina and Chicago using a field goal the decided both games.. Meanwhile, Seattle has reeled off eight straight wins since their 21-19 loss to the Rams in mid-November. The Seahawks pounded the Niners 41-6 last week and have covered and dominated their last four games all against playoff squads. Looking at what each team has done entering this battle I feel the bookmakers believe more in Matt Stafford than Sam Darnold. Take LOS ANGELES RAMS!

LA Rams at Seattle 6:30 ET

Rams/Seahawks - UNDER- I expect both offenses to be conservative and make sure that they protect the ball and prevent turnovers. The Seahawks defense has an edge but the Rams defense has risen to the occasion in big games. There is only one game bigger and that is the next one…play UNDER!

New England at Denver 3:00 ET

Broncos (+) over Patriots - What a shame…Bo Nix is gone and in his place Garrett Stidham is running the show. Now, Stidham has a healthy contract as he was a much sout after back-up QB during the pre-season and he hit over 70% of his passes…preseason. He hasn’t throw a forward pass in live action for two years. Now, it isn’t his ability that I question, it is the game, the result of this outcome changes lives. Pressure is one thing and Drake Maye will be under it as well, playing on the road for a Super Bowl berth on a team that was 4-13 last season. The Broncos with the understanding that their offense may be limited (yet to be seen) with relay on their stellar defense at home where they ate 8-1 while the Patriots are 8-0 on the road. Still, emotions and a team that will rally together for the win. Take DENVER!

L.A. Rams at Chicago 3:30 ET

Rams/Bears- OVER I understand that the Bears have a defense that allows huge chunks of yardage but they always seem to create a turnover a save points. On offense the are most then okay and the Rams defense can be had. But, we have to consider the playing conditions in Chicago. Cold, windy and a hostile defensive attitude faces both offenses. It won’t matter…Play UNDER!

L.A. Rams at Chicago 3:30 ET

Rams (-) over Bears - Well, guys and gals this could be our Waterloo. We once against have a higher seed an underdog at home and against a club that seems to be a bit over-rated. The Rams are winning late and close that that is nothing compared to what Chicago has done all season.The Bears defense ranked at the bottom of the NFL but with 32 forced turnovers and they have capitalized and won six times after trailing in the fourth quarter. Time runs out for them today! Take LOS ANGELES RAMS!

Houston at New England 3:10 ET

Texans (+) over Patriots - This is truly a difficult call with Houston having won 10 straight and the home Patriots having won 14-or-15. The Texans defense has led the way with an inconsistent Stroud at quarterback the Patriots would seem to gain an advantage with Maye leading the way. Houston has won three of four meeting going 4-0 ATS. Texans were in the playoffs late year and it been a Brady-less wait until now. If it comes down to coaching I get the Pats a small edge. But, defense rules in this one. Take HOUSTON!

San Francisco at Seattle 8:00 ET

49ers/Seahawks OVER -  Okay, lets take a quick look at the scores of their two clashes this season. In week one the ‘totals’ price was 42.5 and it was never threatened in the 17-13 final. In the final week of the season the ‘total’ was 48.5 and the final was 13-3. In the first game Seahawks had 173 yards of offense and in the second game it was SF that had just 230 yards. Now, with a grand amount of 46 points scored combined by both teams in both games the total for this encounter opened 45.5. I am sure it will drop and it will go OVER!

San Francisco at Seattle 8:00 ET

Seahawks (-) over 49ers - These two split their season series and the games it could not have been a more contrasting. Opening the year in Seattle, the 49ers (-3.5) dominated in a 17-13 victory. In the season final the rolls were reversed as the Seahawks (-2.5) manhandled San Francisco in their home field to clinch the No. 1 seed. I understand that the Niners have been playing short-handed, but always seem to find a way to survive. grit and the will to win is a hard combination to play against. But, this line is so way out of whack to books aren’t giving the visitor much of a chance. Take SEATTLE!

Buffalo at Denver 4:30 ET

Broncos over Bills - Buffalo has won four of the five past meetings and 7-of-9 going 8-1 ATS. The Bills have won their past two games and six of their last eight. and actually opened the favorite over the No. 1 seed who is playing at home with extra (bye last week) rest. Last week, I posted Buffalo and they broke a five game road playoff losing streak taking down Jacksonville 27-24. The line has moved and correctly to Denver as the slight favorite. If it remains that way I will be surprised, as I believe the pubic will back Josh Allen. But, a one-man team does not work in the post season. Take DENVER!

Houston at Pittsburgh 8:15 ET

Steelers (+) over Texans - Houston like Jacksonville who had won eight straight entering the Wild Card weekend the Texans have won nine in-a-row. Pittsburgh despite having won two less games than Houston is at Home because of the Division Champion hosting at least one playoff game. It always seems that whenever the media or public in general start to diss the Steelers and Mike Tomlin they find a way. Tonight . they will fine a way and get it done. Take PITTSBURGH!

Los Angelels Chargers at New England 8:15 ET

Chargers (+) over Patriots -  Most difficult side to wager on this weekends board has to be the LA Chargers up against the upstart Patriots. New England has steamrolled 9-of-10 opponents with a lone defeat to Buffalo. LA comes limping into New England losers of their last two with all kinds of injury issues. Both clubs have excellent coaching and quarterbacks with Herbert and the most likely MVP Drake Maye. Experience could be the difference…take LA CHARGERS!

Philadelphia at San Francisco 5:00 ET

Eagles (-) over 49ers - This price has gotten to the point of no return as far I am concerned. The line has the Eagles soaring to six and who knows if it will stop or why the huge move without big money hitting the market. San Francisco has had a t least four starters not take part if practice this week and may just be trying to heal but it does not look goo. I kike Philadelphia with the belief that they were better than what they showed. but…Take PHILADELPHIA!

Buffalo at Jacksonville 1:00 ET

Bills over Jaguars - This line has moved as it should have! Buffalo opened as a the favorite of 1 or 1.5 and that just couldn’t last when you look at the match up. Here is the winner of eight straight, the Division winner hosting a team that last lost their past five road playoff games. Buffalo opened the favorite and will close the underdog a roll that they rarely see. The Jaguars Trevor Lawrence has turned thing around the last six games with 15 TD passes and only one interception. The Bills Josh Allen has a few less TD passes  but more than makes up for it with his running along with Cook who averages 5.2 YPA. Take BUFFALO!

Green Bay at Chicago 8:00 ET

Packers over Bears - Does it not seem a bit disconcerting that the Division Champions Chicago is an underdog at home after defeating these Packers in OT three weeks ago. In that contest the Bears were dominate in the four quarter scoring four the last five times they had the ball. The Bears enter this Wild Card round losers of their last two while Green Bay comes in limping after four straight losses. That is, FOUR straight losses, and they are favored on the road against the champs…this one smells to me. Take GREEN BAY!

Rams (-) over Panthers - Imagine what this line would be if the game was in Los Angeles…if you account 3-points for home field, that would make this price the Rams minus -16.5 or 17. Two weeks ago the No.1 seed Seattle was a favorite of minus-6.5 and now the fifth seed is laying double-digits and on the road. This presents to me how much easier the bookie is making it to take the underdog a dog that has backed  into the playoffs dropping their last two and 3-of-4. Rams will have the return of Adams to go with Stafford’s 46 TD passes. Lay-it…take the LOS ANGELES RAMS!

LA Rams at Carolina 4:30 ET

Rams/Panthers -UNDER- I just don’t see Panthers QB Young causing LA any real problems on defense and defense is Carolina’s thing. The running game won’t get over as the Rams force Young into mistakes. Play UNDER!

Detroit at Chicago 1:00 ET

Lions (+) over Bears - Chicago needs only to win once more to secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Detroit has dropped their last three games but have three straight wins and 6-of-7 over Chicago, including a 52-21 romp when the Lions has 511 yards and 496 the meetings before that. Bears have force 32 turnover the NFL high and they have taken advantage it at every opportunity. Lions roar here and bite the Bears. Take DETROIT!

Dallas at New York Giants 1:00 ET

Giants (+) over Cowboys -I believe despite of the kind of season that they have had New York is still forth a giant effort, but I wonder if Dallas has the same approach. The Cowboys have defeated the Jints nine straight times although they had to go OT 40-37 a game they surrendered 509 yards in a game NY should have won. This time they complete the task as a club that is still and always in turmoil.Take NEW YORK GIANTS!

New Orleans at Atlanta 1:00 ET

Saints (+) over Falcons - This is rivalry, not like Rex Sox/Yankees but meaningful to those involved. problem for Atlanta is the big Monday nigh win over the Rams. New Orleans has won four straight and has covered five in-a-row. These two have alternated wins the past seven meetings. It is the saints turn. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Seattle at San Francisco 8:00 ET

Seahawks over 49ers - I am still trying to figure out how Seattle is favored here. The 49er’s dominated the first meeting (17-13) and the home Seahawks looked helpless. Now, they are favored over a hot Niner’s squad that has won  and covered six straight games, the Hawks have also won six in-a-row. Add to the confusion is that SF is 7-1 SU in the past eight meetings. Go figure. Take SEATTLE

Carolina at Tampa Bay 4:30 ET

Buccaneers (-) over Panthers - Win and you’re in! The first meeting went to Carolina 23-20 in which neither team could move the ball with Buc’s advantage 296-275. How bad Mayfield is hurting may be key factor. Take TAMPA BAY!

LA Rams at Atlanta 8:15 ET

Falcons (+) over Rams - Atlanta (has had a very disappointing season as they were expected to contend for the division title. Since defeating Buffalo at Home on October 13 the Falcons have dropped five straight home games and failed to cover any one of those going 0-5 ATS. LA is off of that emotional 38-37 loss to Seattle and are still battling for the division title and a possible overall No. 1 seed for the playoffs. Atlanta has failed to make the playoffs eight straight years but have won two consecutive games for the second time this year defeating Tampa Bay and Arizona on the road. The pressure is on the Rams while the Falcons have no pressure and are free to play free style and fly over the Rams. Take ATLANTA!

Chicago at San Francisco 8:20 ET

Bears (+) over 49ers - The mighty Chicago Bears are a plus 21 in turnover having 31 takeaways this season. I hear every week that they just aren’t that good because their numbers on offense and even on defense other than the turnover are not stellar. San Francisco was blessed with on e of the easiest schedules in the league this season and they have crushed five straight opponents since their home loss to the Rams on November 9. The Niners took Chicago down last December as a 3-point home favorite winning 38-13 out gaining the Bears by 290 yards. Not this time…take CHICAGO!  

Philadelphia at Buffalo 4:25 ET

Eagles (+) over Bills - I have been saying all season that I thought Philadelphia was playing possum and just waiting to put it in gear for the playoffs. If this is what they are actually doing they have fooled a lot of people as even I believe they may have stayed buried to long. But, it appears they are gearing up and this game will actually tell the tale. Bad weather and the Eagles defense will be the difference. Take PHILADELPHIA!

New York Giants at Las Vegas 4:05 ET

Giants over Raiders - The battle for the NFL Drafts Number One pick is on the line as the worst match up in NFL history take place. Never before have two teams with nine or more consecutive losses have played each other. They are a combined 4-26 and if Las Vegas wins the Giants are assured the No. 1 overall pick in 2026. The goof is thagt they don’t need it…here’s why. New York picked up the key position players in last year’s draft. They got a quarterback, a running back and a defensive pressure guy, they will trade the pick and will not be thinking of taking a high skilled position player which means either way the raiders will get their man and to assure it they do their thing a get beat. Seahawks (-) over Panthers - Many believe that Seattle will have a letdown after their come back 2-point conversion win over the Rams but they are still fighting in the NFC West for the No.1 seed and a loss here drops them to fifth and with a home game. Carolina needs only to win against Tampa Bay next week as long as the Buc’s beat Miami. Win or lose it comes down to next weeks game against Tampa Bay…Take SEATTLE!

Pittsburgh at Cleveland 1:00 ET

Browns (+) over Steelers - Well, the problem here as far as I am concerned is if this game will have any meaning. If Pittsburgh has lost to Green Bay Saturday night the Steelers are in the playoffs. Either way win or lose the Pittsburgh will be distract during their prep for the game just wondering if it is going to mean anything. Browns defense and motivation in defeating their rival will be aid the team with the home advantage. Take CLEVELAND!

Jacksonville at Indianapolis 1:00 ET

Colts (+) over Jaguars - It has been quite a stretch for the Colts going from the No. 1 seed to out of the playoffs in five weeks. Entering Thanksgiving weekend Indianapolis was 8-2 and then it started when they blew a lead at Kansas City dropping a 23-20 decision. These two met three weeks ago in Jacksonville a contest the Jaguars had in full control winning 36-19. This time around with nothing to play for the Colts gallop past the Jaguars. Take INDIANAPOLIS!  

Baltimore at Green Bay 8:00 ET

Ravens (+) over Packers - Green Bay is in but, Love is out! Baltimore is still alive but just barely and they bare without Lamar Jackson. The Ravens have to win here and Pittsburgh has to lose at Cleveland and then these two will meet in Pittsburgh next week. Packers running back Josh Jacobs is questionable and the I just don’t see the Green Bay effort matching the Ravens. The BALTIMORE!

Denver at Kansas City 8:15 ET

Chiefs (+) over Broncos - There are numerous reasons that the Chiefs are considered dead in the water. Granted they are not going to the playoffs and

quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes is down and out and of course because they just haven’t played all that well this year. Denver is in foreign territory leading the AF West by one game over the LA Chargers. The Chiefs have lost four straight and six of seven but they have defeated Denver seven of the past 10 meetings. The pressure is on Broncos while the home club has been relieved…take KANSAS CITY!

San Francisco at Indianapolis 8:15 ET

Colts (+) over 49ers - These two clubs are like ships passing during the night heading in opposite directions. San Francisco is playoff bound and have won their last four games while Indianapolis is moving away from the playoffs have lost their last four games after starting 7-2. The quarterback issues have been a problem for the Colts for a number of seasons now. The Colts are currently on the outside looking in as the last team out. With a 44-yaer old QB the Colts will rely on rushing leader Jonathan Taylor (1,443 yards)  to handle the workload. Take INDIANAPOLIS!

New England at Baltimore 8:20 ET

Ravens (-) over Patriots - The question surrounding this match up as far I am concerned is if New England has lost their ‘mojo.’ I am not trying to be funny, They were up 21-0 nothing against the Bills and at some point had to be thinking , ahhhhh,  we clinched the division. But, reality set in as Buffalo stormed back and New England had no answer. We have seen this happen in sports where we think and most likely they think, ‘I got this…fortunes change and something happens to confidence and performance. It may have caught the Patriots. As far as Baltimore is concerned they know if they do not win here it is over for any post season chances. Take BALTIMORE!

Minnesota at New York Giants 1:00 ET

Giants (+) over Vikings - I must say, I love this spot. After having suffered four straight losses and six of seven Minnesota has responded with two wins over Washington and Dallas. New York has just about locked up the number one draft pick and will start Jaxson Dart at quarterback. Eight straight losses have sealed the Giants fate for the season but this is a spot they can shine with the Vikings post season dreams gone long ago. Take NEW YORK GIANTS!

LA Chargers at Dallas 1:00 ET

Cowboys (-) over Chargers - Okay, here we are with playoff bound LA Chargers with 10 wins including three straight and six of seven an underdog to the 6-7-1 Cowboys. Quarterback Justin Herbert was missing in their only loss in that span while the Cowboys have dropped their last two against Detroit and Minnesota. Pokes 5-2 SU at home and get it done here. Take DALLAS!

Philadelphia at Washington 5:00 ET

DC (+) over Eagles - After three straight losses Philadelphia got the fix that they needed by getting to play the pitiful Las Vegas Raiders and posted a 31-0 victory. Washington also ended a losing streak but it was of eight games with a win over the NY Giants 29-21. The Eagles have won 7-of-10 meetings but the former ‘Skins have covered five of their last seven meetings. These two will meet again in two weeks and this is always a game that the Capitol boys look forward to. Take WASHINGTON!  

LA Rams at Seattle 8:15 ET

Seahawks over Rams - Seattle has won four in-a-row and eight of their past nine games with their lone defeat coming in Los Angels a 21-19 loss to the Rams, but an ATS win on November 16. LA has won their last two and have won eight of their past nine games as  well. if this game comes down to the quarterbacks the Rams definitely have an edge as Sam Darnold has yet to show big game success, but this still is the regular season. Although the Rams have scored 45 and 41 points in heir last two outings, I believe the Seahawks ground game and defense will be the difference. Take SEATTLE

Miami at Pittsburgh 8:15 ET

Dolphins (+) over Steelers - I have seen enough of Pittsburgh this year to determine that an aging quarterback must be able to get out of a wheel chair without help. Hey, I am not talking about 44 year old Phillip Rovers who threw for a massive 125 yards in his senior re-debut I think Aaron Rogers can not keep up with Miami and Tua Tagovailoa. Miami has won their last four and have not quit of the season as of yet. The Steelers are the division leader and the odds are against them even making the playoffs. The injuries keep mounting and the Steelers dept chart is thinning out. Take MIAMI!

Minnesota at Dallas 8:20 ET

Vikings (+) over Cowboys - In the NFL, it’s like they say about rules…there are no rules! So, chaos and the thought that anything can happen fuels the game and sometimes the most illogical something might be the more likely you will succeed. Six weeks ago it appeared that the Cowboys were toast and the same feeling for the Viking prevail. Now, winning one game doesn’t remove the stain of a stinky season but it was the unlikely scenario. Dallas is riding a wave it will ebb out….starting here. Take MINNESOTA!  

Indianapolis at Seattle 4:25 ET

Colts (+) over Seahawks - Five weeks ago Indianapolis stood tall at 7-2 and were sitting on top of the AFC, well having dropped three straight and four of their past five, most believe that they will not even make the playoffs. Seattle along with the LA Rams grade out as he best teams in the NFC while the Colts are coming up lame. Turning to 44 year old grandfather Phillip Rivers who may be playing the second half from a wheelchair to quarterback. It is said that it is the same offense being used today take Rivers used as a player. That’s swell if he can remember that he is playing football. Still, a veteran presence help a struggling team. Take INDIANAPOLIS!  

Carolina at New Orleans 4:25 ET

Saints (+) over Panthers - With Tampa Bay going in the tank five of the past six weeks the Panthers are now in that position where they control your own fate. At 7-6 Carolina can win out and prevent the Buccaneers from winning their fifth straight NFC South title. Now, that would make things nice and clean and we all know the NFL wants, needs and creates drama. Panthers will find that coming off of a bye is not always the best thing for momentum. A pair of mediocre offenses against better than average defense should result in a close low scoring game that a home team can take advantage of intangibles. Take NEW ORLEANS!

LA Chargers at Kansas City 1:00 ET

Chiefs (+) over Chargers - Explain to me why a 6-7 team that trails their own division leader (Denver) by five-games  is favored by just under a touchdown against an 8-4 squad that is hot winning five of their last six and already having posted a win on opening day breaking a Kansas City seven game streak in the series. The Chefs have dropped four of five and are 0-5 ATS since back-to-back wins against Las Vegas and Washington two clubs that have lost a combined 16 games. Every week KC faces a ‘must’ game but as long as everyone else in the conference runs to the cellar they remain alive. This is a veteran team that is being handed extra opportunities and sooner of later they take advantage! Take KANSAS CITY!

Washington at New York Giants 1:00 ET

DC Boys (+) over Giants- What a match-up! A pair of clubs that have 15 straight combined losses will duke it out in New York with the Giants a small favorite of less than a field goal over Washington. Dart is back under center for the Giants and he has shown a flair but the G-man defense is allowing 5.8 yards per attempt and that is the highest for a full season in NFL history (if it holds). Jint’s can’t handle being in the favorites role. Take WASHINGTON!

Atlanta at Tampa Bay 8:15 ET

Falcons (+) over Buccaneers - It is difficult to remember that at one time Atlanta entering week six was 3-2, but losses in eight of their past nine games puts that memory into that distant past. Tampa Bay has won the division title four straight tears while the Falcons have had their eighth straight losing season. The Buc’s are 0-5 ATS in their last five after their bye but they did defeat the Falcons opening week 23-20 while the ‘Black Birds’ had won four of the previous five meetings. Take ATLANTA!

Philadelphia at LA Chargers 8:15 ET

Chargers (+) over Eagles - It appears the Eagles have been grounded. Totally dominated by Chicago on Friday, they will try and regroup but what is to regroup? Nothing close to last year’s champs on offense or defense. Hurts coming under media fire and not handling it well. Chargers No. 3 defense allowing just 275 YPG and will stifle wounded birds. Take LA CHARGERS!

Houston at Kansas City 8:20 ET

Chiefs (-) over Texans - Texans ride into KC with four straight wins and a defense as good as any. The Chiefs have dropped 3-of-4 (0-4 ATS) with all losses coming on the road and their lone win coming at home 23-20 against the Colts. Houston has lost the past five meetings including (-10) 23-14 last January in playoffs. The best goes on…take KANSAS CITY!  

Chicago at Green Bay 4:25 ET

Packers (-) over Bears- Another battle where the line seems a bit on the heavy side with the way the Bears looked against the Eagles. Okay, Green Bay has won three straight and had that win over the Lions was impressive, but Chicago is currently the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a loss here has many believing they won’t make the playoffs. Well, let’s find out! Take GREEN BAY!  

L.A. Rams at Arizona 4:25 ET

Cardinals (+) over Rams -  I am tired of hearing that Arizona is a good football team. Have you not seen them play? Sorry, just responding to media comments. Man, really, show me all these bogus stats with a QB throwing or producing yards but rarely wins. I love the Rams but the with Detroit next the Redbirds might cause division chaos. Take ARIZONA!  

Washington at Minnesota 1:00 ET

Vikings over DC - Okay. so Jaden Daniels will be back quarterbacking for Washington who has been as disappointing as any squad this season.

Both clubs are on season long streaks, the Vikings have lost four straight and 6-of-7 and the former Redskins have been scalped seven straight times. J.J. McCarthy is set to return at QB for the home guys, but is that good or bad news? I’m shocked to be on this side considering the teams overall QB rating, but somehow the Vikings will be without mercy and on the money. Take MINNESOTA!

Indianapolis at Jacksonville 1:00 ET

Colts over Jaguars - To start with play this on the moneyline…This is the ‘Don’t make sense’ game of the week! Jax returns home on a three-game win streak hosting a floundering Colts team that has dropped their last two and 3-of-4. Both clubs are 8-4 with the ‘books’ opening Indy a small road favorite, as my friend Scott would say ‘Are you kidding me! I am forced to not trust my lying eyes…Take INDIANAPOLIS!

Seattle at Atlanta 1:00 ET

Falcons (+) over Seahawks -Falcons have dropped 6-of-7 and both sides of the ball have shown nothing special. Seattle has emerged behind Sam Darnold who was jettisoned out of Minnesota for unproven J.J. McCarthy (how’s that workin’). Hawks just shut out the Vikings last week and this could be a bit of letdown for a QB that extracted his revenge last week. QB Cousins has enough experience to move the ball and keep this close against a tough defense. Action will be heavy on the Rams after last week's loss. Take ATLANTA!

Dallas at Detroit 8:15ET

Cowboys (+) over Lions - I will  start right off and say that I love my play on this contest but it is impossible for me to select as side. My first instinct was that Detroit would bounce back from their Thanksgiving day loss to the Packers and that Dallas would regress after their come back week the previous week against Philadelphia. The Cowboys have won three straight and covered all three while the Lions are 1-2 and 0-3 ATS in their last three. I have reason to think the Cats were laying in wait and the Lions would chew up the ‘Boys. But, these two met in Dallas last season and the Lions roared 47-8. This time, not so much and remember Campbell is now calling the plays. PLAY UNDER!

New York Giants at New England 8:15 ET

Giants (+) over Patriots - February, 05, 2012…It’s like ‘a Remember the Alamo’ thing to me! The Giants through the years have given New England fits and not just in Super Bowls but even in preseason which is not supposed to mean anything but still it pays the have the right side. The straight up records mirror themselves with the Pats 10-2 and the Giants 2-10 but they are equal under the point spread rules of betting at 7-5 ATS each. The Jints have taken 4-of-6 SU and are 6-1 ATS in the past seven meetings. Take the NEW YORK GIANTS!

Denver at Washington 8:20 ET

Redskins (+) over Broncos - We expected a regression by Washington but nothing like this going having lost six in-a-row and are 3-8 both SU and ATS. Denver has been the mirror image of the former Redskins winning games that they had no business winning. The Broncos are on an eight game win streak including three straight 3-point wins and victories by 1, 2 and 4 points. The DC’ers have have an extra week to prepare and it helps. Take WASHINGTON!

Buffalo at Pittsburgh 4:25 ET

Steelers (+) over Bills - A number a weeks ago when Pittsburgh was about to be counted out by most fans they broke out as a Megabucks winner defeating Indianapolis. Then a I had stated the gained the public’s respect only to fall flat once again. So, once again they are being pushed aside by the opinion that Buffalo is in need and so much better or are they. This once again is where the Steelers rise. Take PITTSBURGH!

LA Rams at Carolina 1:00 ET

Panthers (+) over Rams - The Los Angeles Rams have graded out with the NFL’s strongest power rated team and are the general public’s Superbowl favorite.  They should be as they have been consistent and have won six in a row going 5-1 ATS having man-handled the Seahawks and Buccaneers the past two weeks. Now, they travel cross country to play an early east cost game against a hungry Panthers team that is playoff live and are gear for the Rams after a poor showing at San Francisco. Cats come to play and claw Rams…take CAROLINA!

Chicago at Philadelphia 4:40 ET

Eagles (-) over Bears - One of my good friends and a great sports better has told me for weeks that Chicago is a fraud and this is the game that they will be exposed. Reviewing the Bears wins we have to admit they have been very fortunate and could and possibly should be at .500 or below. Philadelphia has been laying low and really not showing much trying to keep Barkley healthy for the playoffs. I am looking for the Eagles to fly over the Bears here and soar to a huge win (sorry about all that). Just take PHILADELPHIA!

Kansas City at Dallas 4:30 ET

Chiefs (-) over Cowboys - How ‘bout dem Cowboys’….yeah they are starting to look like a football team coming from behind from a 21-0 deficit to the Super Bowl Champion Eagles and that has them flying high. But, now they will host Kansas City who is aware of how important the game is for their playoff survival. To me it’s Mahomes heads up against Prescott…enough said. Take KANSAS CITY!

Green Bay at Detroit 1:00 ET

Packers (+) over Lions - This is not the same Detroit team that you are thinking of because that team is long gone. This club just does not have the same offensive intensity as the past two seasons. Green Bay has not allowed more than 20 points in any of their past four games and have posted tow wins in a row. They held the Lions to 246 yards in their opening week win. They do it again! Take GREEN BAY!

Carolina at San Francisco 8:15 ET

Panthers (+) over 49ers - Carolina at 6-5 have a different look and feel under coach Dave Canales who has his club playing with intensity every time out. The Panthers actually have a shot at moving ahead of the pack in the NFL South. San Francisco has alternated wins and losses the past nine weeks and are off of a routing of Arizona when the scored a season high 41 points. Brock Purdy returned to action last week while Bryce Young is off his finest day as a pro throwing for 448 passing yards. Take CAROLINA!

Tampa Bay at LA Rams 8:20 ET

Rams (-) over Buccaneers - This is a tough call as the Rams are grading in the top spot for NFL power ratings and at the same time there has been a down grading of Tampa Bay. For Los Angeles their high regard start st the quarterback position where Matthew Stafford is as good as ever. For the Buccaneers it does fall on Baker Mayfield as he is a gamer and just is leading a team that has been decimated by injuries and have lost their last two games and 3-of-4. Defense may be key as the Rams are a plus +10 in turnovers and the Buc’s are plus +9. The points may come into play. Take LA Rams!

Philadelphia at Dallas 4:25 ET

Cowboys (+) over Eagles - Philadelphia has been in prime time that past couple of weeks and were not very impressive according to those that evaluate performances. QB Jalen Hurts has been abused in the media and the rest of the squad is being widely criticized. But, there is one thing to note and that is that the Eagles won both times out when they were not at their best. Now, facing the Cowboys in Dallas they are comfortable in the NFC East leading the division by 3.5 games and with an 8-2 record their incentive isn’t as great as the improving Cowboys. The Eagles opened the season with a win over the Pokes so there is no  division revenge factor. Take DALLAS!    

Jacksonville at Arizona 4:05 ET

Cardinals (+) over Jaguars - If I hear one more tout say that Arizona is not that bad a football team I will lose it. Even when they have won it was because the opponent handed them the game, and when they play a real football they don’t stand a chance on the field. They get pushed around and become intimidated   Oh yeah, K. Murray is always showing signs of greatness but it is all hype and little production, and now I have to hear of Jacoby Brissett who sets records but loses games. So, why take Redbirds? Well, it’s not like this Jacksonville team is one of those elite teams like Seattle, Green Bay or San Francisco. Those teams man-handled these guys like  dead-birds. The Jaguars might bite, but don’t over-react to last weeks win over the impostor LA Chargers. Just to let you know that I do have some hope as the Cardinals are 4-0 and 4-0 ATS against the Jaguars in the past four meetings. Take ARIZONA!  

New England at Cincinnati 1:00 ET

Bengals (+) over Patriots - Oh, how I hate playing against these Patriots and playing on any Cincinnati team. New England has won eight in a row and other than last weeks 13-point win over the Jets the were 7-1 ATS and that is hard to beat. The Bengals Joe Burrow will not play and that might actually be a good thing. Let me explain, the Bengals will also be without Ja’Marr Chase who was suspended one game for spitting in a Steelers defensive back’s face. Now, without their two main studs, Cincinnati will have to rally together as they face what is becoming the AFC’s upstart club who have the leading MVP candidate in Drake Maye. No worries…Take CINCINNATI!

Pittsburgh at Chicago 1:00 ET

Steelers (+) over Bears - So, it’s the battle between the NFC North and the AFC South respective division leaders. The Chicago Bears are 7-3 with a half game lead over Green Bay and a one-game lead of Detroit in the NFC North and without a major breakdown disaster they should qualify for the post season. Pittsburgh (6-4) has a one-game lead the AFC South over Baltimore (5-5) and their postseason shot isn’t as clear. Most of the Las Vegas experts believe that the Ravens will overtake the Steelers because they are scheduled to meet twice yet this season. Bears have been very fortunate and the Steelers have a greater need. Take PITTSBURGH!

Buffalo at Houston 8:15 ET

Texans (+) over Bills - I am pretty sure that of this game was on Sunday along with the rest of the teams in action I might consider Houston one of my highest-rated releases. Buffalo at 7-3 is loping around and winning when people start to have doubts about how good they really are. Houston is not nearly as good overall as the Bills but they will be putting out the best 11 unit in the game when they are on defense. Offensively, let’s just hope that the defense gets ‘us’ the ball in good field position. Josh Allen the reigning MVP had the game of his life against Tampa Bay throwing for three touchdowns and running in three other scores. I am hoping for a some regression in his play, while looking for an improvement from David Mills at quarterback for the home team getting his third straight start. Take HOUSTON!

Dallas at Las Vegas 8:15 ET

Raiders (+) over Cowboys - There was a time when this meeting would not only have playoff implications but we would actually see good players on the field and good coaching on the sidelines. Las Vegas coach Pete Carroll has seen better days and it feels like the game has moved on without him. Dallas coach Jerry Jones, no wait, their GM dismantled an already porous defense and is stuck with a quarterback that puts up great numbers (stats) but no many wins. The Raiders have been laying in wait and playing on Monday is a major advantage. Perfect spot for America’s team to fall flat. Take LAS VEGAS RAIDERS!

Detroit at Philadelphia 8:20 ET

Eagles (-) over Lions - This is one of those games where the last impression that you had of each of them imprints your opinion and there is nothing that you can do about it. But, your mind is playing tricks as Philadelphia looked terrible Monday Night although they did win people were not impressed. Detroit romped over a hapless Washington club and they will not find the going so much fun Sunday night. I have to believe that the Super Champs will be a bit more focused here. Take PHILADELPHIA!

Baltimore at Cleveland 4:25 ET

Browns (+) over Ravens - When they were 1-5 the odds makers still have Baltimore as the favorite to win their Division. Actually, it made more sense than most people realized. To start with the competition stinks with Cincinnati, Cleveland and Pittsburgh which we all expected to fade as their schedule get tougher. Oh, yeah, that’s is another thing the toughest part of the Ravens schedule is done. The black birds have won three straight while the Browns have dropped their last two and five of the past six games with just a win over Miami. The Browns No. 2 defense will not give Henry much running room and this one comes done to the final gun. Take CLEVELAND!

San Francisco at Arizona 4:05 ET

Cardinals (+) over 49ers - Boy oh boy, the 49ers must really be hurting for them to be this small a favorite against an absolutely pathetic impostor of a professional football team (although they do get paid). QB Murray will not play for whatever reason and when he was in the lineup his play was less then stellar. The Niners have what is rated the easiest schedule in the NFL and are playing down to their competition. The Red Birds fly here under different leadership as 10-year vet Jacob Brisset makes his fifth start of the year. Take ARIZONA!

LA Chargers ar Jacksonville 4:05 ET

Jaguars (+) over Chargers - At this point of the season I must say that in my opinion is the most over-rated team by the public is the Los Angeles Changers. It just seems that when they are in a position to show dominance they fall short time and again. I believe this is a perfect spot for them to lose outright although I will always take the points. Los Angeles charges into Jacksonville off of three straight wins while the Jaguars return home after a road loss at Houston when they gave up four touchdowns in the final 12 minutes blowing a 19-point lead. They are 1-3 in the last four straight up and 0-4 ATS. The Jaguars will scratch, claw and bite their way to a win here. Take JACKSONVILLE!  

Houston at Tennessee 1:00 ET

Titans (+) over Texans - Please forgive me…I want to get that out of the way because just suggesting that anyone put up money on the Tennessee Titans makes me want to just bang my head against a wall. They are that bad and it happens that Houston is over-rated to the point that after their four touchdown fourth quarter comeback against the Jaguars last week people think that they are for real…they are not. Take TENNESSEE!   

Washington versus Miami 9:30 ET

Commanders (+) over Dolphins - A pair of 3-7 clubs are supposed to show Spain what American football is all about and what better than to have these two schleps on display. Washington has lost five in-a-row and again with be starting Marcus Mariota. Miami has won 2-of-3 and the biggest of them all last time out with a victory over division rival Buffalo 30-13. The Dolphins offense has been underwater all season ranking No. 26 and gaining less than 300 yard a game and their defense is in the bottom five. The former ‘Skins defense is ranked 30th but they move the ball better. Take WASHINGTON!

New York Jets at New England 8:15 ET

Patriots (-) over Jets - ‘Break-up the JETS’ the cry from the rest of the AFC after two straight wins following the season opening seven game losing streak. After all the Green-slime did defeat the 2-7 Browns and the 3-6 Bengals. New England has moved on from the days of having a defensive coordinator as your offensive coordinator and are in position to actually be the Number One AFC seed. The Patriots are giving us their best everytime out and their will not be a lull because it’s the 2-7 Jets…it is the Jets! There will be no let down here, this is one game the Pats get up for this rivalry every time they meet. Take NEW ENGLAND!

Philadelphia at Green Bay 8:15 ET
Packers over Eagles - The Eagles who are off of a bye week soar into Green Bay off of a pair of wins while the Packers are off an upset loss to Carolina. In that loss they were just 1-for-5 in the Red Zone and missed a chip shot field goal. The Packers have covered the number just once in their last six outings. Philadelphia has defeated the Pack four of the past five meetings and none stand out more than last year’s NFL Wild Card game 22-10 when Jordan Love was intercepted three times and they also defeated GB in the season’s opener in Brazil. Tonight it is…GREEN BAY!

Pittsburgh at LA Chargers 8:20 ET

Steelers (+) over Chargers - Having used Pittsburgh as lat weeks Megabucks winner was wonderful unless you just saw the stats and not the final score. The Steelers benefited from six Indianapolis turnovers and the Steelers still had to hang on to win. This price is short because of all the injuries to the Chargers. The truth of the matter is that Pittsburgh just isn’t all that good as they are ranked No. 30 on offense and number 28 on defense. Take LA CHARGERS.

Detroit at Washington 4:25 ET

Foreskins (+) over Lions - Golly, this game will let us know for sure about Washington who enters once again with Marcus Mariota at quarterback. Many, are looking at this as a revenge game for the playoff win the Commies laid on the Lions in Detroit last January especially after losing to Minnesota last week. The Lions who committed five turnovers in that playoff loss three of which were interceptions. The visitors will also be without five starters and that should be enough for the former ‘Skins to bring it down to the wire.  Take WASHINGTON!

Arizona at Seattle 4:05 ET

Cardinals (+) over Seahawks  - Seattle under Tom Darnold look alot like the Minnesota Vikings of 2024, just sayin’. The Seahawks have been impressive at 6-2 with their losses by 3-points to Tampa Bay when surrendering 10 points in the final 1:06 and a 17-143 loss to the 49ers opening day and since have won 6-of-7. The Cardinals ended a 5-game slide with a win over the Cowboys where Dallas did their best to see to it that the Red Birds win. Murray is out at QB and that can lift the Cardinals. Take ARIZONA!

Buffalo at Miami 1:00 ET

Dolphins (+) over Bills - Like Penn State yesterday it would take a miracle but I think that Miami has a chance to win this game. Not, that they can match talent with the Bills but they have looked so bad that their professionalism is on the line. They can not quit and they will not quit. They have been snake bitten and it is something that as professional they will be forced to overcome. Buffalo knows who they are and are not concerned about the Dolphins being competition in the playoff hunt. Take MIAMI!

New Orleans at Carolina 1:00 ET

Saints (+) over Panthers - The Saints are the only NFL team that has not had a first quarter lead at anytime this season and they have lost four straight without a cover with their only win was against the NY Giants who folded late and blew a lead. Carolina may have worked themselves out of the also ran category are are 5-4 winning and covering for of their last five. The Panthers are 3-1 at home and the Saints are 0-4 on the road and I wonder why such a short number. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Atlanta vs.Indianapolis 9:30 AM ET

Falcons (+) over Colts - Atlanta should enjoy crossing the Atlantic because stateside they have gone south having lost their last three. Indianapolis at 7-2 is the division and conference leader although they are off of a loss at Pittsburgh where they gave  the game away with six turnovers. ‘Danny Dimes’ is has reverted back to doing what he does way too often…he turns the ball over. Take ATLANTA

Las Vegas at Denver 8:15 ET

Raiders (+) over Broncos - If you have watched or seen the Las Vegas Raiders play what they call football this season it is understandable if you just have difficulty betting on them. Goodness, they are terrible and with Geno Smith hooked up the next three years the future looks as bleak as the past and they have Pete Carroll to thank. Denver has turned the corner with Sean Patton leading the way and his coaching advantage is pronounced here, especially if you pit Bo Nix against ‘I Never-was’ QB Smith. But, this is a division match-up which always adds to the underdog intensity something the Raiders have been lacking so far this season under Carroll, but the fear of humiliation will keep them motivated. Take LAS VEGAS!

Arizona at Dallas 8:15 ET

Cardinals (+) over Cowboys - Even though they have lost their last five games Arizona has covered the past two games and are 4-3 ATS on the season. While Dallas has the No. 2 ranked offense they also have the No. 31 ranked defense. The Cowboys have allowed 250 points which puts them on pace to surrender a record high in points set by Carolina (534) in 2024. The Cardinals have lost five games by a total of 13 points and they should keep this one close until the final gun and possibly pulling off the outright upset. Dallas is averaging 44.1 points at home but have allowed 30 touchdowns and five of their eight opponents have scored 30 points or more. Cardinals QB Kyler Murray throughout his career is a perfect 9-0 at AT&T Stadium going 5-0 in high school and winning with the Cardinals 2-0, Oklahoma (1-0) and Texas A&M (1-0). He does it again. Take ARIZONA!

Seattle at Washington 8:20 ET

Commanders (+) over Seahawks - It was said the the beginning of the season that we expected a regression by Washington as they received every good bounce and tipped pass they could last season and the law of averages has already caught up with them. One thing that the Commanders did have going for them was a health Jayden Daniels. Seattle has been solid all season and come to DC as favorites something that would not have happened last season. The former ‘Skins have four their last three with their last win at LA Chargers. Now, with Daniels back healthy the Commanders take command! Take WASHINGTON!   

Jacksonville at Las Vegas 4:25 ET

Raiders (+) over Jaguars - How bad are the Raiders? Last time out against Kansas City they managed just three first downs one of which came by penalty and two through the air which means neither their top draft pick Ashton Jeanty or any other running back gain the yardage needed. Las Vegas is ranked No. 30 on offense and Gino Smith has 10 interceptions and only five TD passes this changes here as Pete Carroll has had two weeks to prepare his troops and he needs it. Take LAS VEGAS!

Atlanta at New England 1:00 ET

Falcons (+) over Patriots - If there has been a team as inconsistent as Atlanta I’d like some one tell me who! Since defeating Buffalo 24-14 and looking like world beaters that have dropped two straight scoring just 10 points in each loss to the Niners and Dolphins. Injuries have been a Falcons issue with QB Michael Penix sitting out last week and they are better off with him than the aging Kirk Cousins. New England is on their best run since the Brady years have won five straight covering all five. They have also won the last five meetings dating back to 2006.Times they are a changing…take ATLANTA!   

Denver at Houston 4:05 ET

Texans over Broncos - Looking at this match-up the first thing that hit me was Houston is favored which some how didn’t seem quite right! Denver enters this fray on a roll as Bo Nix is maturing into the quarterback position with Sean Payton’s aid. The Texans Stroud may appear to have regressed a bit but, his play is predicted on how well his offensive line protects him. Denver’s defense is Ranked No. 5 allowing just 281.4 YPG while the Texans defense is a little bit better ranking No.1 allowing just 267 YPG. At home defense rules. Take HOUSTON!   

Indianapolis at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET

Steelers (+) over Colts - Pittsburgh is in that position once again where people are waiting for their play to slip and a loss here would have those people gloating. But, it always seems that when the public counts this team out Mike Tomlin comes out of it win a victory and the talk of the Steelers demise slows down for a week, Daniel ‘Indiana’ Jones has protected the ball well this season and his errors overall have been at a minimum and Aaron Rodgers although the big number haven’t been there has been sharp. Take INDIANAPOLIS!  

Baltimore at Miami 8:15 ET

Dolphins (+) over Ravens - Lamar Jackson will be back under center (mostly shotgun) and Baltimore believes that they can run the table the rest of the season. The Ravens went with Tyler Huntley at quarterback against the Bears and broke a four game losing streak as he went 17-of 22 with no interceptions. Miami, rallied the crew and routed Atlanta 34-10 last Sunday posting their second win after three straight losses. The Dolphins have had internal issues this season and it seems that Tua finally has them on the right page working together. Take MIAMI!

Washington at Kansas City 8:15 ET

Commanders (+) over Chiefs - No Jayden Daniels, no problem the Commanders have Marcus Mariota…Honest! He is very capable and has had enough experience to manage the game and not panic when the pressure increases. Kansas City was off to a slow 0-2 start and everyone was thinking that they were in a year of regression but four wins in their last five have people believing again. The former ‘Skins’ have dropped their last two and 3-of-4 and will be totally focused for MNF. Take WASHINGTON!

Green Bay at Pittsburgh 8:20 ET

Packers (-) over Steelers - QB storyline here has Aaron Rodgers who has 14 TD passes with five ints and Justin Love 10 TD passes and two ints -2 and their be no love loss from Rodgers who facing his former club. The do not believe that the Steelers win the division or and and possibility that they will not make the playoffs even with a huge lead in the division. Micah Parson already leads the Packers in sacks and he will get to the slower aging Rodgers. Pitt has won six of seven meetings and now with Rodgers whose SB win came over Pitt while with GB. Take GREEN BAY!

Dallas at Denver 4:25 ET

Broncos (-) over Cowboys - Think of the ways the Broncos have won, getting shut out and trailing the Giants 19-0 in the fourth, they score 33 points, the Jets had them beaten until missing a chip shot FG in the final minute and of course they beat the Eagles on a block and TD return on the games final play. Cowboys have Prescott has 16 TD passes but the Pokes are last No. 32 on defense. Denver is 3-0 at home and Dallas is 1-3 on road. Broncos have 4 wins in a row and this is a strong number. Take DENVER!

Tampa Bay at New Orleans 4:05 ET

Saints (+) over Buccaneers - He may be off of his worst game of year but Baker Mayfield is a gamer with the heart of a winner. Tampa Bay injuries are becoming worrisome as eight starters missed practice time this week. The Bucs winners 5 of 6 meetings and the Saints with little running game and Spencer Rattler at the helm games should struggle. Injuries downgrade Bucs. but, talk ‘about don’t make sense’…there has got to be something going on in the ‘Big Easy’ with the Buccaneers that we are not privy to what goes on. The Saints (1-6) are terrible and had only 44 yards rushing against Chicago last Sunday and they will need for Alvin Kamara to return to his previous form to have a shot. But, shit happens in funky places…take NEW ORLEANS!

Buffalo at Carolina 1:00 ET

Panthers (+) over Bills - Well, depending on how you read things I have good news and bad news surrounding this encounter no matter which side you look at. Buffalo has lost two in-a-row and with Josh Allen at QB they have never lost three straight. Carolina has won their last three and are above .500 for the first time in five years. Andy Dalton is ready to start for the Panthers as Bryce Young was knocked out of the game against the Jets last Sunday. Mike White who was a backup QB with the Bills last year is now filling in the same role with Carolina and has every insight as to the Bills that the cats can use. Take CAROLINA!  

San Francisco at Houston 1:00 ET

Texans over Forty-niners - This is one of two games that the line seems like such a gift with 2-4 Houston favored over the 49ers who are 5-2. The Texans are off of a beating in Seattle while San Francisco was grounding the Falcons. Remember when the Pats Drew Bledsoe went down and Tom Brady took over, (sort of like Wally Pip and Lou Gehrig) watch out Mac Jones doesn’t do the same to Brock Purdy. But, Texans defense will be the best unit on the field as 49ers haven’t had an interception in 11 games. Once again the Niners are really beat up! Take HOUSTON!

Miami at Atlanta 1:00 ET

Dolphins (+) over Falcons -  The best thing Miami has going for itself is the beach, sun and winter weather and it ends there. The Dolphins are playing like a fish out of water (mammal) and are in total disarray. QB Tua the Fins ‘leader’ is trying to rally his disheartened club and they should respond like professionals and pull off the most unexpected result. Falcons still way inconsistent and quarterback Mike Penix is questionable and Kirk Cousins will most likely get the start. Take MIAMI!   

Minnesota at LA Chargers 8:15 ET

Vikings (+) over Chargers - Injuries have taken the chargers down to where they could only muster 54 yards on the ground against Indianapolis last week while throwing 55 passes. Imbalance like that for any team will never pan out in the long run. LA won their first three  games ll against division opponents but have lost 3-of-4 while gong 0-4 ATS. The Vikings lost to Philadelphia while grounding the Eagles and holding them to 45 yards rushing on 23 carries 1.9 YPA. Justin Herbert has been hit on drop backs more times than any other MFL quarterback averaging seven knockdowns per game. It seems to me that the LA weakness plays into the Vikings strength. Take MINNESOTA!  

Tampa Bay at Detroit 7:00 ET

Lions (-) over Buccaneers - The votes are in and Baker Mayfield has won the MVP…nah, but if the choice was to be make after six games his name would be at the top of the list. Tampa Bay’s quarterback has thrown for 12 touchdown passes with just one interception and for the chances he takes that is pretty good. Last season The Buccaneers defeated the Lions 20-16 in Detroit last September although the Lions won the playoff meeting 31-23.
