CINCY at JAX UNDER 43

No time for write up today. Bengals good D and Jax trouble scoring. Coached are seeing other teams lose key players may play a little closer to the vest and just try to get on to the season with starters in tact. I look for both teams to run a little kore.

Chiefs at Bears Under 41

The starters will be playing the first half and the KC defense has been good all preseason. It's the third and fourth stringers that have lost the game late. KC lost both games giving up a total of 38 and scoring 36. Bears have given up 22 in each of their first two games but the Chiefs won't score much after the starters are gone for sure. Both teams playing close to the vest trying to avoid injuries to starters.

Cleveland at Tampa Bay Total 41

The Browns travel to Tampa to take on the Bucs.  We have a total of 41.5 and the Browns have scored a total of 27 points this preseason.  Manziel is out and they will go with McCown for at least the first half.  The Browns defense has played well giving up a total of 31 points in two games.  They are last in total yards and go up against the Bucs D that has given up a total of 37 points in their two games.  The Bucs scored 25 last week vs Cincy but they had a defensive TD and the Bengals really weren’t playing many starters.  The Bucs will be playing starters all the first half as well.  Neither team has shown they can score much with their first tema let alone the reserves.  We will play the under strong here.  This shouldn’t even be close.

Falcons at Jets

The Falcons defense has been horrible and is a little banged up.  This should help the NYJ awful offense score some points tonight.  The Jets only managed 3 points in their first game vs the Lions.  The Falcons D should be kinder to them.  Fitzpatrick will be playing most of the first half tonight along with the rest of the Jets starters.  Atlanta has good reserve QB’s that are fighting for the back up role.  I look for them to do some damage against the Jets reserves as well.  This total should go over 39 easily.

49ers at Texans Total 35.5

Both teams are much better on defense than offense.  Gore has left the Niners and they will probably be looking to establish Hyde and their other backs in this game.  Gabbert is the Niners backup QB and we have seen him play before. Not always good!  The Niners have lost some big pieces on D but they have a deep defense that should impose it’s will on a Houston offense that has a QB competition between Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett.  Wow!  They have lost Foster so they also will be looking to check out their remaining backs and figure out who is going to get the bulk of the carries.  Likewise the Texans D is deep.  I look for this to be a low scoring game as both D’s last year were good and the offenses of each team were not that good.

Jets at Lions

Don’t look for the starters to play very long for either team here tonight.  Abdullah may get a little more playing time along with an OL that will probably be different come Week 1 as there are a couple of injuries.  Fitzpatrick may play a little longer because he needs reps with the first unit.  That may keep the NYJ first unit on the field a little longer.  Both teams have good defenses but it will come down to the fourth quarter and the Lions reserve QB’s are much more experienced than the Jets.  With injuries on both teams D the Lions defense is deeper than the Jets.  I don’t look for either team to open up the offenses much.  The backup for the Jet is Bryce Petty and another rookie Jake Heaps.  That may not work out well.  They will probably be playing against the Lions reserves but the Lions have a good D and the reserves are NFL players as are the Jets.
