02-22-20 | Oregon v. Arizona -4.5 | 73-72 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 23 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #792 Arizona -4.5 over Oregon (9p.m., Saturday, February 22 ESPN) Arizona does not lose often at home and I just do not believe Oregon is as good as their ranking is. The Wildcats have won 3 straight games all via blowout and the loser of this game will lose their chance to win the regular season PAC-12 Championship. The Ducks have lost 3 of their last 5 games and their success is dependent on Payton Pritchard. Arizona should have won the first meeting in Eugene and they will win this game by close to double digits. Oregon is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games. Arizona is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games. |

02-22-20 | Suns -2 v. Bulls | Top | 112-104 | Win | 100 | 8 h 30 m | Show |
We think the Bulls are a team to fade down the stretch. The Suns aren’t a very good team but they have nice potential for the future and we think they are the better team in this matchup. They are being punished too much by the oddsmakers for a back-to-back but these teams are rested after the break and the B2B shouldn’t be a big deal. The Bulls played some of the worst defense in the NBA leading into the All-Star Break, and we think the Suns will put up a massive point total tonight. We think this game has a great chance for a blowout, and we could see the Suns scoring 120+ tonight. |
02-22-20 | Suns v. Bulls OVER 221.5 | 112-104 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 30 m | Show

02-22-20 | Hurricanes v. Maple Leafs -148 | 6-3 | Loss | -148 | 7 h 29 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #038. Take Toronto -140 over Carolina (Saturday at 7:00 pm). Great 8-Unit Winner on Saturday and great 6* winner Thursday on Toronto. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Toronto, we are going back to the well with them on home ice as we loved their fight and response Thursday against Pittsburgh. The Leafs finally showed some heart and work ethic in that game, dominating the game for long stretches at a time. However, it's what they do next that matter. If they don't win this game, that game will be for nothing and they'll be right back to square one. They've already beaten Carolina this year and we see no reason why they can't do the double against a Hurricanes team that is floundering right now, winning just twice over their last five games. The Canes are not the best team on the road as they are just hovering above .500, so we like the Leafs to continue their home ice run and get another much-needed win. |
02-22-20 | Nets -4 v. Hornets | 115-86 | Win | 100 | 7 h 31 m | Show
Maybe no Kyrie could be a good thing for this team? Sometimes certain players don’t fit in, and Kyrie has had his problems in other locations. Now he is out for the season, and the Nets played pretty good in an OT loss to Philly right out of the break. Now they take a big step down in competition. The Nets have been good at bounce backs lately with a 4-0 ATS mark after a loss. They are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Charlotte. We think they are the much better squad here tonight. |
02-22-20 | Florida v. Kentucky -4.5 | Top | 59-65 | Win | 100 | 23 h 58 m | Show |
10 Unit Play. Take #730 Kentucky over Florida (6p.m., Saturday, February 22 ESPN) Florida has underachieved this season and does not have that many impressive wins in conference play. Kentucky is the best team in the SEC, and they will enter this game having won 5 straight games If Kentucky can make shots from behind the arc they could win a national championship this season. They did so in the second half against LSU and now sit atop the standing by 2 full games. The favorite is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 games between Kentucky and Florida. The Gators just do not have the right chemistry this season despite picking up Kerry Blackshear from Virginia Tech. Kentucky pulls away and wins this game by 9-10 points. |
02-22-20 | Florida State -1 v. NC State | 67-61 | Win | 100 | 4 h 24 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #681 Florida State -1 over NC State (4p.m., Saturday, February 22 ACCN) TOP NCAA PLAY OF THE DAY Just expect a letdown for NC State coming off their big win against Duke last time out. Florida State might be the best team in the ACC, and they must win this game in order to win the regular season title. NC State is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a win in their previous game. |
02-21-20 | Pelicans -5 v. Blazers | 128-115 | Win | 100 | 10 h 2 m | Show
The Blazers are a walking infirmary right now and we don’t see them having any success tonight against the surging Pelicans. New Orleans is really gelling as a team right now and they have been winning games and covering lines. We think we are getting a good line here since the Pels are on the road. But the injury issues for Portland will be too much tonight, and there’s a great chance the road team could win this one by double digits. |
02-21-20 | Grizzlies +11 v. Lakers | 105-117 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 2 m | Show
Just too many points here tonight. After a slowish start the Grizzlies have been one of the better bets in the NBA. This squad plays team basketball, and they found a real leader and start in Ja Morant. The Lakers are going to get a lot of love from the oddsmakers and betting public as they are the biggest public betting team in the NBA. But we had this game handicapped at 8, so we think there is some very nice value in this double digit line. |
02-21-20 | Spurs v. Jazz -7 | 113-104 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 32 m | Show
The Jazz have been hot and cold this season, but they entered the All-Star Break hot with four straight wins and we think they carry the momentum over tonight in their first game out of the break. The Spurs finished strong out of the break but before that lost five straight. This is just a down year for the Spurs, and we think this line is short. When playing their best, the Jazz can blow teams like this out by 10+, and coming out of the break we see no reason why they won’t put their best foot forward. |
02-21-20 | VCU -2 v. St. Louis | 62-80 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 28 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #874 Saint Louis over VCU (9p.m., Friday, February 21 ESPN2) The Rams are banged up and have lost three straight games. They played well against Dayton last game, but I do not believe that they will be able to muster that energy tonight on the road. The Billikens have been struggling as well but they are on their way to receiving an NIT bid if they can win games like this at home. VCU is 2-10 ATS (1 push) in their last 13 games played on Friday. Saint Louis is 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games against teams with a winning record. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
02-21-20 | Celtics -6.5 v. Wolves | Top | 127-117 | Win | 100 | 8 h 33 m | Show |
Boston has been one of the most reliable bets in the NBA the last few years. They are 32-20-2 ATS this season so they are getting it done at the window once again. This Minnesota team is a mess, and we think with the extra rest after the All-Star Break that Boston has an even bigger advantage in this one. Every team wants to get off to a strong start after the break, and we think Boston brings their A Game here against a very vulnerable opponent. We see them locking down defensively tonight in a blowout win. |
02-21-20 | Celtics v. Wolves UNDER 226.5 | 127-117 | Loss | -101 | 8 h 33 m | Show

02-21-20 | Pacers -6.5 v. Knicks | Top | 106-98 | Win | 100 | 7 h 3 m | Show |
The second part of the season is here for the Pacers after the All-Star Break and we think they will be a team to watch down the stretch. This team is healthy and dangerous in the east. This Indiana club plays team basketball and solid defense. That is the recipe for success. Teams always want to play well out of the break but New York had their little hot streak before the break, winning four straight, but then they lost their last two and we just see more motivation and a much better team coming from the visitors locker room tonight. |
02-20-20 | Rockets v. Warriors UNDER 234.5 | 135-105 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 45 m | Show
The Rockets have been trending to the under with their last four before the break all going under the posted number. We think these teams could start off rusty with the shooting, and there is a good chance the Warriors won’t get too hot for the entire game. Both teams are athletic and should be fresh for some strong defense. The under is 11-5-1 in the last 17 meetings and 4-1 in the last five meetings in the Bay Area. We think there’s a good chance this one goes decently under this posted total. |
02-20-20 | Stanford v. Washington -1.5 | 72-64 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 23 m | Show
5 Unit Play. Take #672 Washington over Stanford (10p.m., Thursday, February 20 PAC12N) It ends tonight! Sooner or later Washington is going to win a game and it will be tonight against a Stanford team that is in a tailspin of its own as well. Stanford has lost 4 straight games including back-to-back home games last weekend against the Arizona schools. The home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings between Stanford and Washington. The favorite is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings. Not much good cane be said against Washington but tonight I expect things to fall in line. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
02-20-20 | Nets v. 76ers UNDER 216 | 104-112 | Push | 0 | 7 h 11 m | Show
We think the under will trend in a lot of these first games after the all-star break. The players are rested and want to start off the second half of the season with a solid effort on the defensive end. The offenses will probably start off rusty and with these very high totals we are seeing in the NBA, even a couple minutes of a gametime cold spell for shooting by one or both teams can bode very well for the under. Five of six for the Nets went under before the break, and we have a feeling the Sixers defense could lock them down again tonight. |
02-20-20 | Penguins v. Maple Leafs -112 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 32 m | Show
6-Unit Play. #008. Take Toronto over Pittsburgh (Thursday at 7:00 pm) Great 8-Unit Winner on Saturday as Dallas got the job done over Montreal. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Toronto, this is basically put up or shut up time as the season and a postseason birth seemingly hang in the balance with every passing day. This Leafs team has played below expectations for much of the season but still has a chance at playoff spot, but they need to get better goaltending and better team defense and better overall play from their key guys. They need to find a work ethic that's unmatched and they need to do it in a hurry since the game is running out. They were flat out embarrassed once again by Pittsburgh on Tuesday and now get a shot at redemption, and from what I hear out of the team, they know it's time to play with a sense of urgency. This could go down as a waste and one of the more frustrating Leafs seasons in franchise history, but they are just too talented to not go down without a fight. This is a series where the home team has dominated, winning 8 of 11 and the Leafs have dominated the Penguins in Toronto going 4-1 over their last 5 games. Leafs win this one and calm the storm for one more day. |
02-20-20 | Bucks v. Pistons UNDER 226 | 126-106 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 11 m | Show
The Pistons are one of the worst offensive teams in the league. They have been particularly bad recently. They scored 92 or fewer points in five of their last eight games. In today’s NBA, that’s really bad. Both teams should be rusty to start off this game on offense. Detroit may never get hot. We think the Bucks can put up a big total and this one will still go under. Both teams should have a lot of energy on defense. The under is 5-1 in the Bucks last six road games. |
02-19-20 | Michigan v. Rutgers -1 | Top | 60-52 | Loss | -115 | 21 h 38 m | Show |
10 Unit Play. Take #784 Rutgers over Michigan (7p.m., Wednesday, February 18 BTN) Rutgers is not a lock to make the NCAA Tournament and they need more wins to ensure they get there. Rutgers is a much better team when playing at home and expect them to win this game by 6-8 points. Michigan has been playing better of late but most of their damage has come at home. Rutgers does not lose at home and they are coming off a 15-point victory against Illinois last time out. Michigan will need to shoot it well to win this game and I believe Rutgers will match them or beat them from the 3-point line. |
02-18-20 | Sabres -110 v. Senators | 4-7 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 19 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #057. Take Buffalo over Ottawa (Tuesday @ 7:30 pm) Great 8-Unit Winner on Saturday as Dallas got the job done over Montreal. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Buffalo, we like them to do well in this spot against a Senators team that has been brutal of late, losing 7 of their last 10 games. The Sens will be playing their third game in four nights while the Sabres will be playing just their second in just 5 days meaning they should be the fresher of the two teams, while also not playing again until Saturday. Buffalo has strung together three straight wins and we expect them to make it four as they seem to have found their scoring ways, meeting 12 goals during the win streak. That should be good enough to take advantage of the Sens' 28th ranked goals-against average. Look for Buffalo to come out hot and get another win. |
02-18-20 | Purdue v. Wisconsin -4 | 65-69 | Push | 0 | 7 h 29 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #620 Wisconsin over Purdue (7p.m., Tuesday, February 18 ESPN) Purdue is not the same team on the road and their chances of making the NCAA Tournament have crumbled of late. They have lost two straight games by double-digits and I do not see things getting any better tonight in Madison. The Badgers have won two straight games by double-digits and they have a chance for a double bye as their schedule lightens up some down the stretch. The favorite is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings between Purdue and Wisconsin. Wisconsin is 3-1 ATS (1 push) in their last 5 games. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
02-17-20 | Lightning -114 v. Avalanche | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 35 m | Show
3-Unit Play. #049. Take Tampa Bay over Colorado (Monday at 9:00 pm) Great 8-Unit Winner on Saturday as Dallas got the job done over Montreal. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Tampa Bay, how could you go against a team that has won 10-straight games, all of which in dominating fashion! The Lightning are vying for that top seed in the East and the Presidents trophy, and they look every bit the part of it as they've scored 34 goals over the 10 game winning streak while giving up just 16. Now they get to take on an Avs squad that is coming off a big loss to LA in the outdoor game, and it's hard to flip a switch to go from such a production and monumental game to a regular home game, despite the opponent. The Lightning are 5-0 in their last 5 vs the West and 12-1 in their last 13 vs teams with a winning record. They've also won the last 4 games in Colorado and are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings. |
02-17-20 | Xavier -1.5 v. St. John's | 77-74 | Win | 100 | 8 h 55 m | Show
5 Unit Play. Take #861 Xavier over St Johns (6:30p.m., Monday, February 17 FS1) The Musketeers need to complete the season sweep of the Red Storm to stay on the NCAA Tournament bubble. They already beat them once this season by 8 points and now St. Johns is without Mustapha Heron. The favorite is 3-1 ATS (1 push) in the last 5 meetings between Xavier and St Johns. Xavier is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games. |
02-16-20 | Maple Leafs -135 v. Sabres | 2-5 | Loss | -135 | 8 h 5 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #037. Take Toronto over Buffalo (Sunday at 7:00 pm) Great 8-Unit Winner last night as Dallas got the job done over Montreal. Let's keep the momentum rolling tonight. Remember to sign up for our No.1 soccer service and our No.1 WNBA service in the coming months. As per your selection on Toronto, we have no issues going with them on the second half of B2B's. The Leafs had a great win last night vs the Sense and not they get to take on another dumpster fire organization in Buffalo. The Leafs are in the thick of a playoff race while the Sabres are just playing out the string. We also like the fact that the Leafs are starting their No.1 tonight after resting him last night. The Leafs have owned this series vs Buffalo winning 8 of the last 10 meetings vs the Sabres and we expect that trend to continue. The Sabres give up plenty of goals and high quality scoring chances, something the Leafs will be able to take advantage of. |
02-16-20 | Arizona State -5 v. California | 80-75 | Push | 0 | 7 h 60 m | Show
2 Unit Play. Take #852 Arizona State over California (6p.m., Sunday, February 16 ESPNU) Arizona State has been creeping up the standing of late winning 4 straight games. All 4 of those wins came against teams that are better than Cal. Mark Fox is doing wondering with this team to get it some wins this year in a rebuilding phase. ASU has too much to lose to take this game lightly and the road team is 23-11 ATS in the last 34 meetings between ASU and Cal. The Golden Bears are 6-21 in their last 27 games following an ATS loss in their previous game. |
02-15-20 | Seton Hall -1 v. Providence | 71-74 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 10 m | Show
7 Unit Play. Take #765 Seton Hall over Providence (8p.m., Saturday, February 15 CBSSN) Seton Hall is coming off a surprising home loss to Creighton last time out. They are still the best team in the Big East and whenever you can get them with a short number you have to take notice. The Friars have talent but they have not played like it as times this season. They are coming off an embarrassing loss to St. Johns this week, as the Red Storm where without one of their key players and still beat them my double-digits. A win tonight will about guarantee the Pirates a share of the Big East regular season title and I feel they will come out ready to make a statement tonight in Rhode Island. Seton Hall has not lost a conference road game this season. Seton Hall is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. Providence is 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games as a home underdog. |
02-15-20 | Stars -122 v. Canadiens | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show
8-Unit Play. #011. Take Dallas -130 over Montreal (Saturday at 7:00 pm). As per your selection on Dallas, this is the ideal spot for the Stars to pick up another win and extend their winning streak to four games. The Stars have beaten three good teams in a row in St.L, Car and Tor and now get to take on a mediocre Habs team who is slumping once again this season. Since beating the Leafs, the Habs have lost three straight and scored just four goals during that streak. Dallas is third overall in goals against and we just don't see a way for Montreal to solve their goal-scoring issues tonight. The Stars are right in the thick of the Central division race and will want to win this game to inch closer to first place. It helps matters that the Habs played last night while the Stars have been resting and waiting in Montreal since Thursday night. Once again, the Stars are the better team and have gone 8-2 in their last 10 Saturday games, 4-1 in their last 5 vs the East, 4-1 in their last 5 road games and are 10-3 in their last 13 after giving up 2 goals or less. The HAbs are a brutal 1-5 in their last 6 vs the Central, 4-11 on the second half of B2B'S and just 3-7 in their last 10 as underdogs. |
02-15-20 | West Virginia v. Baylor -5.5 | Top | 59-70 | Win | 100 | 3 h 57 m | Show |
7 Unit Play. Take #694 Baylor -5.5 over West Virginia (4p.m., Saturday, February 15 ESPN+) TOP NCAA PLAY OF THE DAY Just not a fan of West Virginia this year. They struggle to score points when playing away from home and just need to muck up the game to be successful. They will likely not be able to play as aggressive away from Morgantown. Baylor just wins game and has the best defense in the country. Their game against Texas was not as close as the final score would indicate. West Virginia is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games. Baylor is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games. This will be a grind for 40 minutes but in the end expect Baylor to pull away late and win it by double digits |
02-15-20 | Wake Forest v. Miami-FL -2.5 | Top | 54-71 | Win | 100 | 18 h 15 m | Show |
10 Unit Play. Take #636 Miami (FL) over Wake Forest (2p.m., Saturday, February 15 RSN) Miami has played better than what their 4-10 record would indicate. They are coming off their best performance of the season last time out and expect them to take care of business today against a bad Wake Forest teams. The Demon Deacons have done nothing with Danny Manning as their head coach and this will be there third road game in their last 4 games. The home team is 8-1 ATS (2 pushes) in the last 11 meetings between Wake Forest and Miami. The Hurricanes are the better coached team playing at home and expect them to win this game by 7-9 points giving us the cash. |
02-14-20 | Davidson v. St Bonaventure OVER 129.5 | 93-64 | Win | 100 | 8 h 32 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #866 Over in Davidson @ St Bonaventure (7p.m., Friday, February 14 ESPN2) This total has been bet way down in the morning hours and now we feel the value lies with the over. The Bonnies have scored at least 72 points in 4 straight games and if they hit that mark tonight, we should be in good shape to collect with the over. St Bonaventure has gone over the posted total in 4 of their last 5 games against teams with a winning record. Davidson has gone over the posted total in 5 of their last 7 games against teams with a winning record. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
02-13-20 | BYU v. Loyola Marymount OVER 139 | 77-54 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 45 m | Show
5 Unit Play. Take #690 Over in BYU @ LMU (11p.m., Thursday, February 13 ESPNU) BYU is well on their way to receiving an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament if they can finish out the season strong. The Cougars have gone over the posted total in 8 of their last 10 games. BYU has also gone over the posted total in 9 straight games following an ATS win in their previous game. LMU has gone over the posted total in 6 of their last 7 games following an ATS win in their previous game. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
02-13-20 | Capitals +127 v. Avalanche | 3-2 | Win | 127 | 10 h 16 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #067. Take Washington over Colorado (Thursday at 9:30 pm). As per your selection on Washington, we like this spot for them as an underdog as the majority of you will be on Colorado because they've won five straight games. Washington is a good team and has done tremendously well on the road this season, posting a 20-6-1 record away from home. They've had two tough games against the Flyers and Islanders, but they are rested now having had two days off before tonight's game. They have owned this series over the last 10 games winning 8 of them, with the exception of the first meeting this season which was a 6-3 Colorado win- a game in which the Ads scored four first period goals. That simply won't happen again tonight. The Avs may be on a 5 game winning streak but they beat the Sens twice and the Sabres once during that span. Now they step up in class and with this being their fourth game in six-nights, we don't see them having enough in the tank to contain the high-flying Capitals. Great price with a great team and we'll be all over it. |
02-13-20 | Washington v. USC -3.5 | 56-62 | Win | 103 | 10 h 48 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #670 USC over Washington (9p.m., Thursday, February 13 ESPN2) This play is mostly going against Washington, as they have fallen apart having lost 6 straight games. They have thrown in the towel on the 2019-2020 season. USC is also shaky but they do have talent and should be able to get back on track after playing a brutal schedule of late. USC also have revenge on their minds losing to Washington by 32 points earlier this season in Seattle. Washington is 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog. USC is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss in their previous games. |
02-13-20 | Thunder v. Pelicans -2 | 123-118 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 42 m | Show
We will go with recent form in this one as the Thunder have lost two straight, while the Pelicans have won three straight entering tonight’s game. New Orleans has covered in all of their last five games when favored, and we think this spread is too small tonight. With the All-Star Break looming, you have to like the home teams to finish the first half of the season with some extra momentum while the road teams just want to enter the break, especially if they haven’t been playing well coming into this last game before the break. |
02-13-20 | Clippers v. Celtics -1.5 | Top | 133-141 | Win | 100 | 8 h 37 m | Show |
This Clippers team looks like they are ready for the All-Star Break. Maybe no team in the NBA cares less about the regular season than these Clippers. This is the fourth game on their current road trip and they are probably over it and ready for the break. They have not been playing too well lately and were blown out in Minnesota and also lost by 7 at Philly. This team is still figuring things out and Paul George hasn’t been playing up to the level we expect. And Pat Bev is out tonight also. This looks like a good spot for a comfortable Boston win. |
02-12-20 | Raptors v. Nets UNDER 223.5 | 91-101 | Win | 100 | 7 h 32 m | Show
Toronto has been trending to the over, but the bookies have posted a too high number here for this Wednesday game. Toronto is a Top 5 defensive team, and there’s a great chance that they hold the Nets to a low total here tonight. The Nets have actually been playing some decent defense lately and as a result, four of their last five games have played under the total. We had this game handicapper at 219 so we think there is some good value here as we leaned to the under even at our handicapped number. |

02-12-20 | Hawks -1.5 v. Cavs | Top | 105-127 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 2 m | Show |
The Hawks have covered in five of the last seven meetings here in Cleveland. We think this is a great chance for Atlanta to get a rare road win tonight. Cleveland has lost six straight games and things are not good right now with this team. We just don’t see them playing well here and this team looks like it is ready for the all-star break. Atlanta is one of those bad NBA teams that is playing for momentum for next season while the Cavs are a no hope team right now that is trying to figure out what to do. The Hawks are better poised for success here, and we expect them to win this one comfortably. |
02-12-20 | South Carolina v. Georgia -2.5 | 75-59 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 55 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #786 Georgia over South Carolina (6:30p.m., Wednesday, February 12 SECN) The Bulldogs have been a massive disappointment this season but it is not for a lack of talent. Georgia has blown big leads the last two games and they will likely have a big lead in this game as well. Carolina got blown out on the road last time out and I see them losing this game by double digits as well. Georgia is 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games after allowing 90 points in their previous game. Anthony Edwards is the best player on the floor and he will be the difference tonight as Tom Crean and company get a much needed win at home. |
02-11-20 | Rangers v. Jets -120 | 4-1 | Loss | -120 | 10 h 41 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #034. Take Winnipeg over New York (Tuesday at 8:00 pm) As per your selection on Winnipeg, we have no problem going back to the well with them on home ice after they cashed our ticket on Sunday vs Chicago. Winnipeg has now won three straight over good opposition and gets to take on a Rangers team who are just hovering around .500 on the road. The Rangers will be playing their first road game since Feb 1, so it could take a little time to adjust to playing a more simple game. We don't believe the Rangers have what it takes to go into a tough barn to play in and come away with the two points. Winnipeg is in the middle of a heated playoff race and needs to make good on this current six-game home stand, of which this is game 3 (2-0 so far). The Jets have averaged nearly 3 goals per game against the Rangers over the last 10 and with the way they are putting the puck in the back of the net recently, we expect them to get a bunch here tonight. |
02-11-20 | Bulls v. Wizards -3 | Top | 114-126 | Win | 100 | 7 h 37 m | Show |
The Bulls weren’t a good team to begin with, but they are super banged up right now and have an injury report as long as your grocery list. Washington is very healthy in comparison. The Wizards have won three of their last five and this team has been playing well recently. They are on a 6-4 ATS run and the oddsmakers are a bit behind on this team right now. They are coming off a loss but are 4-1 ATS in bounce-back situations and they are also 4-1 ATS in their last five against teams with a record below .400, meaning they are getting the job done against lousy teams. Because of the Bulls injury situation we had this game handicapped at 7, so there is nice value there tonight. |
02-11-20 | Arkansas v. Tennessee -2.5 | 61-82 | Win | 100 | 9 h 31 m | Show
6 Unit Play. Take #620 Tennessee over Arkansas (7p.m., Tuesday, February 11 SECN) Arkansas has been exhausted of late coming off back-to-back overtime losses in their last two games. They are clearly on the bubble when it comes to the NCAA Tournament and they struggle to score points at times in each game especially without Isaiah Joe. Tennessee is not having good year but they have been competitive in most of their recent losses and this is a game they are the better team in. Arkansas is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games. Tennessee is 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games following a double-digit loss at home in their previous game. |
02-10-20 | Predators -115 v. Canucks | 2-6 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 51 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #019. Take Nashville over Vancouver (Monday @ 10:00 pm) We are traveling once again today so no time for a lengthy write-up. As per your selection on Nashville, we believe this is a great spot for them to do well against a Vancouver team who has lost the plot a bit of the last four games - all losses. Vancouver has been outscored 18-7 in four straight losses and now they take on a Nashville team that has been playing well prior to a 3-2 setback vs Edmonton on Saturday. Nashville has revenge on their minds for this one as they've lost the first two games of the three-game series and will need two get these two points to maintain their pace in the playoff standings. Vancouver is coming off an emotional and physical loss vs a Canadian rival and will now be without one of their key guys up front in Boeser for two games. This is a letdown spot for the Canucks and the Press will take advantage of it. |
02-10-20 | Jazz -1 v. Mavs | Top | 123-119 | Win | 100 | 8 h 16 m | Show |
Utah seems to be over their funk and they have scored two very impressive wins, vs. a very hot Portland team and also at the Rockets last night. Yes, they come in on a back-to-back tonight, but Dallas had a back-to-back Saturday so they are playing their third game in four nights as well. Utah is really healthy right now also, which is a plus for this bet. When both teams are at full strength the Jazz are the much better squad, but they have better health here with Doncic out for the Mavs. Utah is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Dallas has been very inconsistent lately and we think that Utah keeps their positive momentum going with a big win tonight. When this team has issues it seems to be in their heads and when they win it builds a lot of team confidence and that confidence normally keeps them playing to their ability. |
02-09-20 | Blackhawks v. Jets -109 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 9 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #008. Take Winnipeg over Chicago (Sunday at 7:00 pm) We are traveling today so no time for a lengthy write-up. As per your selection on the Winnipeg, they are simply the better team in this matchup and we like them to take advantage of a Chicago team that has played over their heads for the last handful of games. The Jets have won two straight and have a good home ice record and will need this win to keep the momentum going on their homestand and keep themselves in that second wildcard slot. Take Winnipeg. |
02-09-20 | Celtics v. Thunder UNDER 219 | Top | 112-111 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 14 m | Show |
OKC is trending to the under and it is 5-1 in their last six. We think these teams will play some good defense in the Sunday matinee. These are two Top 10 defenses. Both teams have been playing particularly well in defending the rim lately, and we just don’t see either team breaking out for a big points total today. We handicapped this total before we saw the number and came out with 213, so we think there is nice value on the under here. |
02-09-20 | Ohio State v. Wisconsin -1 | Top | 57-70 | Win | 100 | 2 h 3 m | Show |
10 Unit Play. Take #840 Wisconsin over Ohio State (1p.m., Sunday, February 9 CBS) Wisconsin is a different team when playing at home and have only lost one time this season at the Kohl Center. Coach Gard has a knack for getting the big win when it needs it just like he did last Saturday against Michigan State. Ohio State has won 3 in a row but those wins came against fringe tournament teams and thus will be their third road game in their last 4 overall. Wisconsin beat Ohio State in Columbus earlier this season for one of their few road wins on the year. The favorite is 12-5 ATS in the last 17 meetings between Ohio State and Wisconsin. Ohio State is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games played on Sunday. Wisconsin is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games played on Sunday. |
02-08-20 | Boise State v. Utah State -9.5 | 61-70 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 24 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #814 Utah State -9.5 over Boise State (10p.m., Saturday, February 8 CBSSN) The Aggies have been playing much better basketball of late and when they win games it comes by double digits. Their last 6 wins have all been by double digits. Boise State has been on a roll as well winning 5 straight games but those have come against some bad teams and undermanned squads. They are not playing as well as their record would indicate. Boise State is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. Utah State has covered the spread in 4 straight road games. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports. |
02-08-20 | Nets v. Raptors UNDER 218.5 | 118-119 | Loss | -102 | 7 h 45 m | Show
Toronto has been trending to the over, but the oddsmakers have inflated this total too much as a result. We see this one going well under the posted number tonight. Toronto has a Top 3 defense, and we don’t see the Nets doing anything crazy in this one offensively. The Raptors are coming in on a back-to-back, and we think we could see a flat game from them offensively and this might be a bad spot for them overall after a hard-fought win over Indiana on Friday. |
02-08-20 | Maple Leafs -101 v. Canadiens | 1-2 | Loss | -101 | 8 h 31 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #073. Take Toronto over Montreal (Saturday @ 7:00 pm). As per your selection on the Toronto, you have to believe the Leafs are feeling good about themselves having won last night and getting reinforcements in terms of back up goalie and some grit. Now they take on the Canadiens whom they've beat in 7 of the last 10 games. The Leafs know they can't afford any slip-ups against Eastern Conference teams especially the Habs who are hot on their tails in the playoff race. The Leafs own a good away record and we like their ability to score goals on the road as they've scored at least 3 in nine straight road games. The Habs have played well of late but have beaten two terrible teams in NJ and Anaheim. This is a real jump up in class against the Leafs and we think the Leafs simply have too much firepower for the Habs to keep up with. |
02-08-20 | Knicks -1 v. Pistons | Top | 95-92 | Win | 100 | 6 h 15 m | Show |
The Knicks have won three straight and are flat out playing harder than the Pistons right now. They have the same wins at 8 on the road as they do at home, so this New York team doesn’t have a real home court advantage. They can get the job done here tonight. The Knicks are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games, and the oddsmakers are behind on this team right now. The Pistons come in on a back-to-back and this is not a good spot for them tonight. |
02-08-20 | Mavs -3.5 v. Hornets | 116-100 | Win | 100 | 6 h 15 m | Show
The Hornets are 0-4 ATS in their last four despite some very generous lines from the oddsmakers. They have one win in their last seven games and all of their losses were by double-digits. The Mavs enter on a back-to-back but they have a winning record both SU and ATS in these situations this year. The Mavs aren’t playing their best recently and are dealing with some injury issues, but this should be an easy win for them and they can’t afford a letdown here after losing two straight to much better teams than this Hornets club. |
02-08-20 | Arkansas v. Missouri +2.5 | Top | 79-83 | Win | 100 | 19 h 46 m | Show |
10 Unit Play. Take #666 Missouri over Arkansas (3:30p.m., Saturday, February 8 SECN) I thought Arkansas would play well against Auburn on Tuesday, but game 2 without Isaiah Joe will prove to be much more difficult. Missouri is nothing to brag about but they have talent and getting points at home is too good to pass up. 5 of their last 7 games have come on the road and they are ready for some home cooking this afternoon in Columbia. Arkansas is 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games as a favorite. Missouri is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a home underdog. The underdog has covered the spread in 11 of the last 16 games between Arkansas and Missouri. Arkansas losing in overtime to Auburn last time out affects this today. |
02-08-20 | Seton Hall v. Villanova -3.5 | 70-64 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 56 m | Show
6 Unit Play. Take #654 Villanova -3.5 over Seton Hall (2:30p.m., Saturday, February 8 FOX) TOP NCAA PLAY OF THE DAY The Pirates are in great shape in the Big East and thus I feel the Wildcats need this game more. Villanova has lost two straight games but playing this game in Philadelphia will get them back on track. The Wildcats are 17-7 ATS in their last 24 home games against teams with a winning road record. The home team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings between these two teams. Seton Hall struggled to put away Georgetown on Wednesday and will lose this game by 7-9 points. |
02-08-20 | Kentucky -2 v. Tennessee | 77-64 | Win | 100 | 16 h 14 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #621 Kentucky over Tennessee (1p.m., Saturday, February 8 CBS) Just think Kentucky is the best team in the SEC this season and they should be able to take down a bad team in Tennessee, even though the game is in Knoxville. Tennessee is 5-4 this season in the SEC but none of those 5 wins have come against teams that will reach the Big Dance. Kentucky has wins at Arkansas and at Texas Tech in the last month and they are starting to put it together as they usually do in February under Coach Cal. The Volunteers have not handled prosperity well this season going 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following a victory in their previous game. |
02-07-20 | Blazers +9 v. Jazz | Top | 114-117 | Win | 100 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
Utah has reverted back to their early-season ways and they are playing very poor basketball right now. They faced the same spread pretty much last time out vs. Denver and got spanked on their home court. Portland has won and covered in five of their last six games and they are in great form right now and playing some of their best basketball of the season. We just think this spread is way overinflated. Could Utah play their game and blow the Blazers out? Of course. But we have to go with recent form here and this line just looks way off to us. |
02-07-20 | Heat +1 v. Kings | 97-105 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 2 m | Show
We like to take a good team after an embarrassing loss and that is the case tonight as the Heat ran into a buzzsaw last time out at Staples against the Clippers. But they are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 after a blowout loss, and we expect them to get back to their winning ways tonight. Miami was playing well before that Clippers have and have covered in three of their last five. They are the much better team in this matchup and we think they bounce back well tonight. |
02-07-20 | Pistons v. Thunder UNDER 215 | 101-108 | Win | 100 | 7 h 2 m | Show
OKC has really ramped up the defense lately, and we don’t see the Pistons having much offensive success tonight. The Pistons have scored 100 or less in three of their last six games. With Drummond being shipped out of town, that will hurt this team not only on the court but also in the morale department. We expect a real flat performance tonight from the road team. The oddsmakers tab this one as a blowout, and we agree, and we think the Pistons will struggle to score their share of points to get this one over the posted number. |
02-07-20 | Maryland v. Illinois -154 | 75-66 | Loss | -154 | 9 h 47 m | Show
2 Unit Play. Take #872 Illinois (-155 Money Line) over Maryland (8p.m., Friday, February 7 FS1) Home teams in the Big 10 are still the way to go. Illinois has not lost a conference game at home this season and they lost by just 1 point to Maryland earlier this season in College Park. Illinois is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following an ATS loss in their previous games. |
02-07-20 | Grizzlies +5.5 v. 76ers | 107-119 | Loss | -107 | 6 h 7 m | Show
Memphis is one of the better ATS teams this season, and Philly is one of the worst. We think this line is out of whack once again on Friday. The Grizzlies are playing much better right now. They have won six of seven games and are playing their best basketball of the season. They have covered in all the wins. They seem to be playing with a chip on their collective shoulders, and that is the kind of team you want to back with your betting dollars. Philly has lost four straight and have covered only one in their last seven. The Sixers are good at home, but they are vulnerable tonight. |
02-06-20 | Loyola Marymount v. Gonzaga OVER 138.5 | 67-85 | Win | 100 | 12 h 32 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #694 Over in LMU @ Gonzaga (11p.m., Thursday, February 6 CBSSN) The Bulldogs are averaging over 88 points per game and I expect them to reach the nineties in scoring tonight. LMU has gone over the posted total in 5 of their last 6 games following an ATS win in their previous game. Gonzaga has gone over the posted total in 8 of their last 9 home games. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
02-06-20 | Rockets +8 v. Lakers | 121-111 | Win | 100 | 10 h 50 m | Show
Westbrook is questionable in this one but we think the Rockets will play it close whether he plays or not tonight. Houston is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 games in Los Angeles against the Lakers, and we think they will cover this inflated line tonight. Houston has won three straight and they are playing well right now. We think the Rockets could challenge for the win but we like the points here in what we think will be a close game. |
02-06-20 | Hurricanes v. Coyotes +105 | 5-3 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 34 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #050. Take Arizona over Carolina (Thursday @ 9:00 pm) As per your selection on the Arizona Coyotes, we believe this is a spot where they will do well as they come off a much-needed confidence-boosting win vs Edmonton in their last game. Prior to that, they had lost two games that went beyond regulation, so those games turn out to be a crapshoot and they could very easily be on a three-game winning streak and favored in this one. The Hurricanes have been poor out of the All-Star break having lost two of their last three games and are coming off a 6-3 drubbing by the defending Cup champs, St. Louis. Carolina has not fared particularly well on the road as they are just 12-11-2 whereas at home they are 9 games above .500. The Yotes are in the middle of a heated playoff race for the Pacific division and we feel that this is a great game for them to bring their best effort and get another two points. |
02-06-20 | CS Sacramento v. Weber State +1 | 66-70 | Win | 100 | 9 h 29 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #668 Weber State over Sacramento State (9p.m., Thursday, February 6) The Wildcats are a traditionally strong team in the Big Sky and they should be able to take care of business at home against Sacramento State tonight. 76% of the money is coming in on the home team and they favorite has covered the spread 4 of the last 5 games in this series. Sacramento State is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games. |
02-06-20 | Towson v. Delaware -2.5 | 78-84 | Win | 100 | 7 h 27 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #621 Delaware over Towson (7p.m., Thursday, February 6 CBSSN) The Blue Hens have been playing well of late having won 4 straight games including a victory at Hofstra. Towson is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog. Delaware is 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games played on Thursday. |
02-05-20 | Wisconsin +3.5 v. Minnesota | 52-70 | Loss | -106 | 10 h 3 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #833 Wisconsin over Minnesota (9p.m., Wednesday, February 5 BTN) The Badgers are coming off their best performance of the year dominating Michigan State on Saturday. Now they get Brad Davison back and should be able to take this game down to the wire. Minnesota has lost 2 straight games and they are one of the few Big 10 teams not expected to make the NCAA Tournament. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
02-05-20 | Seton Hall -3 v. Georgetown | Top | 78-71 | Win | 100 | 10 h 43 m | Show |
10 Unit Play. Take #829 Seton Hall over Georgetown (8:30p.m., Wednesday, February 5 FS1) TOP NCAA PLAY OF THE DAY Both teams likely have a key player out, but Seton Hall has better team from 1-15 and that will be the difference tonight. Georgetown has no business beating St Johns on Sunday and expect them to be down big in this game as well. Seton Hall is coming off a shocking home loss to Xavier by double digits last Saturday, but they are still 8-1 in Big East play. The Hoyas are 3-6 with 2 of the wins coming against St Johns. The favorite is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings. Georgetown is 5-13 ATS in their last 19 games as a home underdog. Seton Hall is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games. Without Matt McClung, Georgetown lacks any depth and that will be the difference tonight in the district. |
02-05-20 | Grizzlies v. Mavs UNDER 226.5 | Top | 121-107 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 20 m | Show |
We were on the Grizzlies last time out against Detroit in what was one of the easiest wins of the year with only 178 points scored in that game. This one won’t be that low scoring. But Memphis has struggled on offense recently against good defensive teams. And Dallas has been playing very solid defense lately. They held their last two opponents to 103 or fewer points. We don’t see the pace here in this game being super fast, and we had this game total handicapped at 218, so we think there is some really nice value here. Several trends involving Memphis here point to the under as well. The under is 5-1 in the last six for Memphis following a 10+-point win. The under is 8-3 in their last 11 games, and the oddsmakers haven’t adjusted properly yet. Because of some massive scores in the NBA this season, bookies are scared to post too low totals, but there is value created as a result on the under leaguewide right now, and we think this game definitely falls into that category tonight. |
02-04-20 | Blazers +4.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 99-127 | Loss | -107 | 9 h 46 m | Show |
The Blazers suddenly are playing their best basketball of the season right now. They have won four straight and covered in all those games. And it wasn’t any easy schedule, either. We think they come to play again tonight and we will ride the hot hand here on Tuesday. Portland has better rest coming into this game and we think they are primed for another solid performance. We expect a close game here, and the visitor definitely has a chance to score the upset. |
02-04-20 | Penn State v. Michigan State -8.5 | 75-70 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 17 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #628 Michigan State over Penn State (8p.m., Tuesday, February 4 BTN) Michigan State laid an egg last Saturday against Wisconsin but playing at home will get them back on track. Penn State has won 4 straight games and will reach the NCAA Tournament this season, but they will not be able to shoot it well enough in this game. Michigan State is 48-23 ATS (1 push) in their last 72 home games. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
02-04-20 | Stars v. Islanders -121 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 28 m | Show
5-Unit Play. #006. Take New York Islanders over Dallas (Tuesday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on the New York Islanders, we like them to get back in the win column tonight on home ice where they own a solid 15-7-4 record. Their opponent, the Stars, is coming off a hard-fought win just last night against the Rangers and will be playing in their third road game in just four nights before returning home to face the Wild. We know goals are going to be at a premium in this contest as both teams rank inside the Top-6 in goals allowed per game, but when the third period rolls around we believe the Islanders' fresher legs will be the difference in this one. The Isles haven't played since Saturday and they showed a lot of resilience in that game only to fall short a half a minute into OT. The Isles also have a bit of revenge on their mind as they lost to the Stars 3-1 back in December. Take the fresher Isle team tonight and enjoy a nice NHL winner. |
02-04-20 | Auburn v. Arkansas +1 | 79-76 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 18 m | Show
6 Unit Play. Take #610 Arkansas over Auburn (7p.m., Tuesday, February 4 SECN) Unranked team that is favored over a ranked team is usually a receipe for success when it comes to college basketball betting. This is a tough spot for Auburn coming off a big win over Kentucky on Saturday with the college gameday crew in town for that occasion. Arkansas is coming off a bad home loss to South Carolina and needs some more quality wins to ensure they reach the NCAA Tournament in Coach Musselman’s first season. The favorite is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings. Arkansas is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games played on Tuesday. |
02-03-20 | Pistons v. Grizzlies UNDER 226 | Top | 82-96 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show |
The Pistons are not only coming in on a back-to-back, but this is a super back-to-back for them after a rare win in OT yesterday against the Nuggets. We don’t think they have anything left in the tank here, and we just don’t see how they will put many points on the board tonight. Detroit has performed real poorly in back-to-backs this season at 1-7, 2-6 ATS and they have averaged only 104 PPG in these situations this season. We don’t see them having any offensive success today. The under is 6-0 in the Grizzlies last six home games, and that is the way we see this one going down on Monday night. |
02-03-20 | Panthers v. Maple Leafs -169 | 5-3 | Loss | -169 | 8 h 56 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #059. Take Toronto over Florida (Monday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on the Toronto Maple Leafs, we feel as if this is a spot for them to do well and get a huge win with playoff implications. The Leafs are just two points up of the Panthers for third in the Atlantic but the Panthers have two games in hand. The Leafs are rolling right now out of the all-star break having won three straight while playing some good defense in the process. Now they get to face a Florida team who was just blanked by the Canadians in a game they never really looked interested in. The Leafs also have the revenge factor in this one after getting trounced 8-4 back on January 12th, a game that the Leafs coach was not very pleased with. Expect the Leafs to continue to play well and put up goals and add a little distance between themselves and the Panthers in the standings. |
02-02-20 | 49ers v. Chiefs -1 | Top | 20-31 | Win | 100 | 125 h 46 m | Show |
10 Unit Play. Take #102 Kansas City Chiefs over San Francisco 49ers (6:30p.m., Sunday, February 2 FOX) The line on this game is low and you can make a case for both sides. In the end I just feel it is the Chiefs time especially for their Coach Andy Reid, a sentimental favorite of most people to finally win a Super Bowl. Coach Reid is outstanding coming off a bye and he also has the better quarterback behind center in this game. Two straight weeks the Chiefs have gotten behind early only to have the lead by halftime and control the game in the second half. The 49ers have not faced any adversity in the playoffs this season and I am not sure how they will react if the Chiefs can force them to throw the football in obvious passing situations. Kansas City is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against San Francisco. The 49ers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a win of more than 14 points in their previous game. Kansas City is 7-0 ATS (1 push) in their last 8 games. |
02-02-20 | Pelicans v. Rockets UNDER 247.5 | Top | 109-117 | Win | 100 | 2 h 43 m | Show |
Both offenses have been really good lately, but we have to take a shot at the under here in what is one of the highest posted totals in the NBA this season. With a total this high, if there is a cold shooting streak by either team than this one will likely go under. If a crucial player goes cold, that’s good news for us. With a total this high there has to be fluid scoring and fast pace all throughout the game. The players could be distracted because of the Super Bowl. Also, the under is 31-15-1 in the last 47 meetings. |

02-02-20 | CS-Northridge v. Hawaii -6.5 | 75-80 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 44 m | Show
3 Unit Play. Take #824 Hawaii -6.5 over CS Northridge (1a.m., Sunday, February 2) This game takes place during the overnight hours early Sunday morning. This is a tough trip for the Matadors who played Thursday in California and now must travel to the islands to play this game against one of the top teams in the Big West. Northridge is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS win in their previous game. Hawaii is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win in their previous game. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |

02-01-20 | Lightning -160 v. Sharks | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #059. Take Tampa Bay over San Jose (Saturday at 10:30 pm). As per your selection on the Tampa Bay Lightning, we have no problem backing them on the second half of a B2B as they are the first two games out of the All-Star break and the guys should still be fresh. Not to mention, the Lightning are rolling right now having won 7 of their last 10 games, including last night vs Anaheim 4-3. Now they get to take on an SJ team who just lost one of their best players in Hertl and are just not a very good team altogether. They've won just four of their last 10 games including just one of their last five. The Sharks also don't have a great home-ice advantage to speak of like in prior years, so we don't see how they neutralize the high flying Lightning. Take Tampa and let's cash another ticket. |
02-01-20 | Jazz -6 v. Blazers | Top | 107-124 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 13 m | Show |
Utah has lost three straight, but it’s not time to panic. They had an off game against Houston at home where they didn’t play good. And then they lost at San Antonio, a very tough place for a visitor to get a win. Then on a back-to-back they had a strong game at Denver but faded in the second half on the backend of a back-to-back. They really have to choice but to play with a sense of purpose here. And now Portland is the team on a back-to-back. And they just played in an unprecedented emotional game in LA. They played with the Mamba Mentality and left everything on the floor. They won as 13-point underdogs last night. We were on Portland in this game. But we just think they will be spent and have nothing more to give tonight. Portland isn’t a deep team and they are 2-4-1 ATS on the second end of a back to back. And they spent so much effort last night. Against a very good team tonight, and a legit title contender desperate to end a losing streak. Also, Utah is 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games on Saturday. This just looks like a great spot for a dominating win tonight. |
02-01-20 | Arizona State v. Washington -5 | 87-83 | Loss | -109 | 23 h 11 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #822 Washington over Arizona State (10:30p.m., Saturday, February 1 PAC12N) Washington played pretty well last time out against Arizona and should use that to win this game by double digits. Arizona State does not have the top end talent that Arizona does, and I believe they will not make enough shots in this game against the zone. Washington shot 50% from the 3-point line and made 14 of 28. If they come anywhere near those number tonight, they will win big. Arizona State lost to Washington State last time out and has had to stay in the Pacific Northwest for two days stewing on that performance. The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 games between Arizona State and Washington. The Huskies finally get a get-well game and we collect big in the process as well. |
02-01-20 | Boston College v. North Carolina -11.5 | 71-70 | Loss | -113 | 4 h 45 m | Show
3 Unit Play. Take #728 North Carolina -12 over Boston College (6p.m., Saturday, February 1 ACCN) The Tar Heels have played much better of late winning two straight games by double digits and now should have Cole Anthony back for this game. Boston College just beats the bottom feeder teams and will not be very competitive in Chapel Hill today. |
02-01-20 | Rutgers +1.5 v. Michigan | Top | 63-69 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 13 m | Show |
10 Unit Play. Take #711 Rutgers over Michigan (4:30p.m., Saturday, February 1 BTN) When Michigan agreed to play this game in New York City instead of Ann Arbor they could never imagine that Rutgers could be this good. The Wolverines will likely have Zavier Simpson back for this game, but it will not matter, as Rutgers is the better and more talented team. Michigan got back on track last game against Nebraska, but they still have lost 4 of their last 5 games and that included two home games to Penn State and Illinois. The magic during the nonconference season has worn off and there is a lack of talent and once can see why John Beilein left. Rutgers has won 4 of their last 5 games and playing this game in New York City should give them a big edge in the stands. Rutgers is 19-7 ATS (2 pushes) in their last 29 games. Michigan is 1-5 ATS (1 push) in their last 7 games. |
01-31-20 | Blazers +13 v. Lakers | Top | 127-119 | Win | 100 | 10 h 1 m | Show |
Since the game against the Lakers and Clippers was cancelled, bettors have been looking to this game as the first game after the Kobe Bryant tragedy where the Lakers will win one for Kobe. But as a result we knew this line would be inflated and it has come out even a couple more points than we expected. And it's not like Kobe didn’t have friends on the Blazers that will want to play hard in his honor. The Blazers aren’t going to roll over and let the Lakers win. We think they give everything they have tonight against a Lakers team that is still grieving. The Blazers have a strong history in this series (10-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings in LA and 45-22 ATS as a long-term trend). If the Lakers just play their game they will probably have success but we feel like they might try to hard or do something different than normal. We think there’s a great chance for a close game here. |
01-31-20 | Bulls v. Nets OVER 222.5 | 118-133 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show
When a couple lousy teams hook up in a Friday game like this, and they are teams that play inconsistent defense, you can have a good idea the game will be a barnburner. And we think that’s the case here. The Bulls have the better defense, but they have been pourous in that area lately, and that has led to the over hitting in four of their last five. The Nets have gone over in four of five as well. We just see the pace here as being fluid and we expect both teams to get their points in a likely close game. |
01-31-20 | Flyers v. Penguins -165 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 59 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #020. Take Pittsburgh over Philadelphia (Friday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on the Pittsburgh Penguins, we feel as if this is a great spot to back them as they have a bit of revenge on their mind as they lost to this very Philadelphia team 3-0 in their last game before the All-Star Break. Prior to that loss, the Pens had won six of seven and had rocketed up the Metro standings. Tonight, they get back in the win column against a Philly team who a completely different team on the road (10-13-2) compared to at home (17-4-4). The Penguins also own one of the best home records and with essentially a healthy lineup to throw at the Flyers, we don't see the Penguins losing back to back games to the Flyers. |
01-31-20 | Raptors -4.5 v. Pistons | 105-92 | Win | 100 | 6 h 14 m | Show
Toronto is coming in on a back-to-back, but they barely broke a sweat last night against the Cavs. That was their ninth straight win. We don’t see them letting up here. Detroit has lost four straight and this team just has not been playing with any enthusiasm lately. Injuries have staked up and everyone is on the trade block, so it’s no wonder why this team hasn’t played with a sense of purpose lately. We think this could be a double-digit win for the road team. |
01-31-20 | VCU v. Rhode Island | 75-87 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 52 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #873 VCU over Rhode Island (7p.m., Friday, January 31 ESPN2) This line has swung in the morning and we will follow the line movement. VCU was terrible ATS early in the season but they have come on of late, winning 4 straight games and all of them by double digits. Rhode Island already beat them once this season in Richmond, but I do not believe they will be able to beat them twice in one season. VSU is 25-10 ATS in their last 35 games as a road favorite. Rhode Island is 2-6 ATS (1 push) in their last 9 games as a home underdog. The favorite is 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings between these two Ram teams. |
01-30-20 | Jazz +1.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 100-106 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
Despite identical records, we think the Jazz are the much better team in this matchup. Remember, they got off to a super slow start this season and since have turned it on and are playing as well as anyone in the league right now. And this is a very important game and should have a playoff-like atmosphere, and we just think the cream will rise to the top tonight. We like to back a good team after a bad loss, and the Jazz certainly fit the bill here as they had the floor wiped with them against the Rockets last time out and Houston was without Westbrook and Harden. Utah was a double-digit favorite and lost by 9. But they have had two nights off since then (Denver has had only one), and this game is more important, so win here and that loss is officially in the rearview mirror. After playing horrible defense last time out we are sure the focus for Utah has been strong defense, and we think the Jazz will lock down on that end tonight. The Jazz are 16-7 ATS in the last 23 meetings, and we feel this is their game to take tonight. |
01-30-20 | Jazz v. Nuggets UNDER 215.5 | 100-106 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show

01-30-20 | 76ers v. Hawks +7 | 117-127 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show
The Sixers road woes are well documented as they are 9-15 on the road this season. They are 7-15-2 ATS on the road and on a 1-7-1 ATS plunge in their last nine games. The Hawks have been playing hard despite a lack of talent, and they have covered in five of their last eight games. The Sixers haven’t covered in the last four meetings in Atlanta. We think the Hawks will put up a fight and play to win here tonight. |
01-30-20 | Minnesota v. Illinois -5 | 51-59 | Win | 100 | 8 h 2 m | Show
6 Unit Play. Take #628 Illinois over Minnesota (7:30p.m., Thursday, January 30 FS1) Illinois is a top team in the Big 10 this season and Minnesota has won just one road game in the league this season. The Fighting Illini have won 6 straight games and the favorite is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 games. Minnesota got blown out by Michigan State last time out and this will be a double-digit loss as well. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
01-30-20 | Canadiens v. Sabres +106 | 3-1 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 39 m | Show
7-Unit Play. #014. Take Buffalo over Montreal (Thursday at 7:00 pm) As per your selection on the Buffalo Sabres, we feel that this is an ideal spot to back them against a Montreal team that is just ravaged with injuries and continues to give up boatloads of goals. The Sabres came out of the break flat against the Suns, losing 5-2 despite being tied at 2-2 at one point. The Canadians were simply outplayed by the Capitals in their first game out of the break and we expect that trend to continue on the road against a Sabres team who has an excellent home record and who is better on the defensive side of the ice. The Sabres have already beaten the Habs once this season and there's no reason to believe they can't do it again on home ice. Look for Buffalo to come out strong and get a much needed two points two stop the losing streak. |
01-29-20 | Thunder -3 v. Kings | Top | 120-100 | Win | 100 | 9 h 3 m | Show |
The Thunder are 32-16 ATS on the season and this team continues to hold value while some of the other teams in the NBA are grabbing all the headlines and respect from the oddsmakers. But Oklahoma City is quietly having one of the most surprising seasons in the NBA this season. They had a five-game winning streaked snapped last time with a double-digit loss to the Mavs, and we think they will come out in this one focused and hungry against a Sacramento team that has lost six of eight, with only wins over Minnesota and Chicago to their credit. |
01-29-20 | Texas v. TCU -4 | 62-61 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 16 m | Show
4 Unit Play. Take #836 TCU over Texas (8p.m., Wednesday, January 29 ESPN+) Texas is not any good this season despite having some talented players. They enter this game having lost three straight games including a 38-point loss to West Virginia the last time they were on the road. TCU is well coached, and they will not beat themselves. That should be good enough to win this game against a team in freefall with a coach squarely on the hot seat. The home team is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings between Texas and TCU. Texas is 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games. TCU is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss in their previous game. |
01-29-20 | Maple Leafs +104 v. Stars | 5-3 | Win | 104 | 9 h 56 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #001. Take Toronto over Dallas (Wednesday at 7:30 pm) As per your selection on the Toronto Maple Leafs, we like the way they came out of the break and played a dominating 60 minutes vs Nashville. They must have really had time to think about their coach's ?immature? comment over the break as they were ready to play and fired on all cylinders. Now, it only matters what they do next and they cannot afford to drop many more games down the stretch if they want to get into the playoffs. The Stars are coming off a hard-fought win over Tampa in their last game and we saw them expend a tremendous amount of energy just to win that game, this could be a spot they come out flat in and we'll back the Leafs tonight to get the win. The Leafs have beaten the Stars eight out of the last 10 matches while scoring nearly 4 goals per game. They are averaging 4 goals per game over their last 8 road games, so there's no reason to believe that trend won't continue. |
01-28-20 | Blues v. Flames -114 | 5-4 | Loss | -114 | 9 h 45 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #085. Take Calgary over St. Louis (Tuesday at 9:00 pm) As per your selection on the Calgary Flames, this is normally a spot we'd back them anyways as they play well on home ice and are playing well having won four of their last six games. As for the Blues, you couldn't ask for a tougher start post-All-Star break than on the road in Vancouver and Calgary on B2B nights. The Blues have now lost three straight and six of their last 10 games, which tells us they are going through some internal issues which won't be corrected overnight, especially on the back half of a B2B. The Games are in a four-way tie for the second spot in the Pacific and know that an opportunity like this to catch a tired team doesn't happen all that often and should be taken advantage of. Give us the Flames at home to get another win. |
01-28-20 | Purdue v. Rutgers -2.5 | 63-70 | Win | 100 | 8 h 39 m | Show
7 Unit Play. Take #628 Rutgers over Purdue (8p.m., Tuesday, January 29 BTN) TOP COLLEGE BASKETBALL PLAY OF THE NIGHT Purdue is just a different team on the road compared to at home. Rutgers is ranked and on their way to the NCAA Tournament if they take care of business at home. The Boilermakers have not won a road game this season in Big 10 play. Rutgers has won 3 of their last 4 games and they have better talent at the guard position than does Purdue. The Boilermakers are 1-6 ATS (1 push) in their last 8 games as an underdog. The Scarlet Knights are 8-1 ATS (1 push) in their last 10 home games. The home team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games between Purdue and Rutgers. Best of Luck – Doc’s Sports |
01-28-20 | Hawks +12.5 v. Raptors | Top | 114-130 | Loss | -101 | 7 h 43 m | Show |
We think this is too many points. We think the Hawks match up well with Toronto. And the Raptors lines are starting to grow too big. These teams played a little more than a week ago in Atlanta, and the Hawks hung tough with the Raps all game long. It was a one-point game entering the fourth quarter and Toronto won by 5. Atlanta has been a good bet lately, covering in five of their last seven games. They are also 6-2 ATS when catching double digit points. We expect them to keep this one within double digits tonight. |
01-28-20 | Villanova v. St. John's +4 | 79-59 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 10 m | Show
4 Unit Play. #602 St Johns over Villanova (6:30p.m., Tuesday, January 29 FS1) This line is begging you to take Villanova, but I feel playing their second straight road game will doom them in tonight at MSG. The Wildcats were not very impressive last time out against Providence and would have lost if Providence did not play to lose that game. St Johns has won 2 of the last 3 games against Villanova. The underdog has covered the spread in 4 straight games between the Wildcats and the Red Storm. Villanova is 3-9 ATS (1 push) in their last 13 road games. St Johns is 8-2 ATS (2 pushes) in their last 12 games. |
01-27-20 | Blues v. Canucks +113 | 1-3 | Win | 113 | 11 h 17 m | Show
4-Unit Play. #080. Take Vancouver over St.Louis (Monday @ 10:00 pm) As per your selection on the Vancouver Canucks, we feel as if this is a great spot to back them at home after the All-Star Break. The Canucks had won two straight prior to the break and have won four of the last five games. Now they get to take on a St. Louis team who's coming off the All-Star break having lost two straight games. Not to mention, four of their top players had to participate/host All-Star weekend, so while everyone else was resting, these guys were in go-mode all weekend long. This is a good price to back the Canucks on and we'll take a shot with the more rested of the two teams. |
