10-22-17 | Jaguars -3 v. Colts | Top | 27-0 | Win | 100 | 26 h 4 m | Show |
Jaguars With Andrew Luck sidelined, possibly for the rest of the season, Jacoby Brissett remains under center as the Indianapolis Colts host the Jacksonville Jaguars in an AFC South Division contest on Sunday. With 1,209 yards passing, Brissett has played fairly well in Luck's stead, but the former Patriot backup has thrown just three touchdown passes on the season. The Colts have also coughed up three second-half leads and have fallen into last place in the division. Jacksonville hopes to have rookie sensation Leonard Fournette in the backfield for Sunday's game. Fournette left last week's 27-17 loss to the Rams in the second half after suffering a leg injury and he has missed two practices during the week. He is expected to play. Fournette is second in the league in rushing yards with 596, behind only Kareem Hunt's 630, and his six rushing touchdowns lead the NFL. Jaguars are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up loss. Colts are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game. Jaguars are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. |

10-21-17 | USC v. Notre Dame -3.5 | Top | 14-49 | Win | 100 | 52 h 42 m | Show |
Notre Dame One of the highest-profile rivalries in college football will continue with its 91st edition Saturday when No. 16 Notre Dame hosts No. 10 USC. The Trojans won eight in a row in the series from 2002 to 2009, but haven't won two straight against the Fighting Irish since, something they can accomplish this year. USC has been tied or trailed at the start of the fourth quarter in four of six games this season. The Trojans overcame a seven-point deficit in the final quarter last week against then-No. 23 Utah before holding on for a 28-27 victory when a two-point try by the Utes failed in the final seconds. Notre Dame hasn't faced that challenge in its victories, winning those five games by an average of 28 points, but the Fighting Irish came up short in its only meeting against a ranked opponent this season, losing 20-19 to then-No. 15 Georgia on Sept. 9. Notre Dame quarterback Brandon Wimbush sat out his team's last game against North Carolina two weeks ago because of a right foot injury, but coach Brian Kelly said earlier this week that Wimbush is 100 percent. Notre Dame ranks ninth in the nation in turnover margin with 14 takeaways against eight turnovers. Trojans are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games on fieldturf. Fighting Irish are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a bye week. Favorite is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings. |

10-21-17 | Michigan v. Penn State -9.5 | Top | 13-42 | Win | 100 | 52 h 35 m | Show |
Penn state No. 2 Penn State begins the most difficult portion of its schedule Saturday night when it hosts a Michigan team looking to prove it belongs among the Big Ten elites. The 15th-ranked Wolverines are enduring a sluggish stretch that includes a home loss to Michigan State and an overtime win against East Division doormat Indiana, and they hope to hang around against a dominant Nittany Lions crew that's coming off a bye week. Penn State is coming off back-to-back routs of Indiana and Northwestern, but faces a daunting three-week run that also includes visits to No. 6 Ohio State and No. 19 Michigan State. The Nittany Lions have won 14 straight regular-season games since a 49-10 loss at Ann Arbor a year ago. The Wolverines rank 11th in the Big Ten in passing offense and senior John O'Korn has struggled since taking over the starting job from the injured Wilton Speight. Wolverines are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. Nittany Lions are 10-0-2 ATS in their last 12 games on grass. Favorite is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-21-17 | Wake Forest +5.5 v. Georgia Tech | Top | 24-38 | Loss | -110 | 52 h 34 m | Show |
Wake Forest Georgia Tech is two one-point losses away from being undefeated on the season, but the Yellow Jackets enter Saturday’s home contest with Wake Forest with no time to wonder what could have been. The Yellow Jackets face a Wake Forest team that threw a scare into Clemson before having its bye last week, and Georgia Tech’s remaining schedule features matchups with the No. 8-ranked Tigers, No. 14 Virginia Tech, Virginia and No. 3 Georgia. The Demon Deacons started the season 4-0 before suffering a pair of losses to Clemson and Florida State, and begin a pivotal stretch in which Wake Forest plays three of its next four games on the road. Wolford has completed 63.2 percent of his passes this season with eight touchdowns and only one interception, while rushing for four touchdowns and 6.3 yards per carry. Redshirt freshman receiver Greg Dortch ranks second in the ACC and 19th nationally with 136 all-purpose yards per game, finishing with 156 yards against the Tigers. Wake Forest’s defense is surrendering only 16.7 points per game, third the conference and 12th in the country. Demon Deacons are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 conference games. Yellow Jackets are 9-21-2 ATS in their last 32 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Demon Deacons are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-21-17 | LSU v. Ole Miss +7.5 | Top | 40-24 | Loss | -130 | 51 h 17 m | Show |
Mississippi No. 25 LSU could be accused of playing to the level of its competition, given its two straight wins over ranked opponents following a stunning home loss to Troy. What that translates to on Saturday might depend on which Ole Miss team shows up to host the Tigers. The Rebels had lost three straight before last week’s 57-35 home win over Vanderbilt, but the offense that has flourished versus weaker opponents has struggled against tougher competition. The Rebels lead the SEC in passing (357.2 yards per game) by a wide margin and rank ninth nationally with quarterback Shea Patterson spreading the ball around to a talented receiving corps. That group includes the SEC’s leading receiver A.J. Brown, who averages 113 yards per game and has topped 100 four times. The home team has won each of the last five meetings in the series. Tigers are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. Rebels are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Underdog is 13-4 ATS in their last 17 meetings.

10-21-17 | Indiana v. Michigan State -6.5 | Top | 9-17 | Win | 100 | 48 h 33 m | Show |
Michigan state No. 19 Michigan State returns home Saturday looking to build on a pair of big road wins when it faces an Indiana squad still looking for its first victory in Big Ten play. The Spartans have won three straight, including triumphs at Michigan and Minnesota the last two weeks, while the Hoosiers are coming off a tough overtime loss to the Wolverines and face their fourth straight nationally ranked conference foe. Michigan State's running game got a big boost last week with the re-emergence of junior LJ Scott, who recorded career highs in carries (25) and rushing yards (194) after sitting out the previous game with an undisclosed injury. The Spartans also are powered by one of the top defenses in the country, ranking in the nation’s top 10 in total defense (fifth, 263.8 yards per game) and rushing defense (eighth, 93.3). Even though Indiana has played very good pass defense the last two weeks, quarterback Brian Lewerke likely will be happy to see the Hoosiers because it will mean playing in Lewerke has a plethora of receivers from which to choose and is itching to throw the ball more, and the Spartans' coaches likely will try to open it up to keep Indiana from stacking the line against the run some better weather. Spartans coach Mark Dantonio is 7-1 against Indiana, including 4-0 at home, although the loss was suffered last year in overtime. Hoosiers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game. Spartans are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games. Hoosiers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 meetings in Michigan State. |

10-21-17 | Louisville v. Florida State -7 | Top | 31-28 | Loss | -100 | 44 h 0 m | Show |
Florida state Louisville announced its presence as a national championship contender in 2016 by annihilating then-No. 2 Florida State, but both teams find themselves struggling just to stay relevant in the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference just over 13 months later. A pair of recent powers hovering around the .500 mark hope to improve their recent fortunes Saturday when the Cardinals visit the Seminoles. Eventual Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson accounted for five touchdowns as Louisville throttled Florida State 63-20 last September - a victory that marked the third of four straight games in which the Cardinals scored at least 59 points. While the offense has more than held up its end of the bargain this season despite not maintaining the same pace as last season's team, the defense has not after giving up at least 520 total yards for the third time in 2017 in last weekend's 45-42 home loss to Boston College. The Seminoles avoided their first 1-4 start to a season since 1975 with a 17-10 triumph at Duke. The Seminoles rank 121st in the country in scoring offense (18.2 points) and 110th in total offense (346.6 yards), but a new offensive line tweak seemed to spark them against Duke as left tackle Derrick Kelly moved to left guard while freshman Josh Ball took over at Kelly's old spot. Florida State allowed a season-low two sacks while its 84th-ranked rushing attack (144.8) churned out a season-high 228 yards on the ground, including 115 from freshman Cam Akers. Cardinals are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games in October. Seminoles are 13-4-1 ATS in their last 18 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game. |

10-21-17 | Iowa v. Northwestern +2 | Top | 10-17 | Win | 100 | 44 h 57 m | Show |
Northwestern Northwestern looks to build on its first Big Ten win when it hosts Iowa on Saturday. The Wildcats kicked off conference play with losses to No. 5 Wisconsin (33-24) and second-ranked Penn State (31-7) before rebounding with a 37-21 road victory against Maryland, and they hope to notch back-to-back wins for the first time this season by knocking off the Hawkeyes for the second time in as many years. The Hawkeyes hope to have ironed out a few wrinkles on offense during their bye week after beginning Big Ten play 1-2 for the first time since 2013. Senior running back Justin Jackson racked up a season-high 171 yards and two touchdowns in the win against Maryland to break the Wildcats' all-time rushing record previously held by Damien Anderson (4,485). Jackson needs 38 more yards to move past Anthony Davis (4,676) into eighth place on the Big Ten's career rushing list. Charlie Kuhbander was named the Big Ten's Special Teams Player of the Week after becoming the first freshman in Northwestern history to kick three field goals in a single game. Hawkeyes are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games following a ATS win. Wildcats are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games in October. Home team is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-20-17 | Jazz v. Wolves -4 | Top | 97-100 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 15 m | Show |
Timberwolves The new-look Minnesota Timberwolves stumbled out of the gate with some meager contributions from a handful of newcomers. The Utah Jazz had no such issues with a retooled roster in their opener and look to stay perfect on the young season when they visit the Timberwolves on Friday night. Playing their first game since losing longtime star Gordon Hayward to free agency, the Jazz rallied around holdover Alec Burks (16 points in 15 minutes) in a 106-96 win over Denver on Wednesday. Andrew Wiggins scored 26 points to lead Minnesota in its 107-99 loss to San Antonio and Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 and 13 rebounds. Imports Jimmy Butler, Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson combined for 29 points on 11-of-29 shooting. They will have a much better night tonight. Minnesota won its home opener last season by 36 points over Memphis, the fourth-largest margin of victory in franchise history. The Jazz were just 4-15 vs. the number as a road dog last season, and they are an underdog in this game. Jazz are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. NBA Northwest. Timberwolves are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |

10-18-17 | Hornets v. Pistons -3 | Top | 90-102 | Win | 100 | 4 h 44 m | Show |
Pistons The Eastern Conference looks very top-loaded, with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards again expected to leave the rest of the teams in the dust. The Detroit Pistons and the Charlotte Hornets, who open their respective seasons against each other in the inaugural NBA regular season game at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit on Wednesday, are trying to join the party after both missing out on the postseason last spring. The Pistons looked like playoff contenders at times in 2016-17 but were hurt by injuries to point guard Reggie Jackson and some growing pains from star center Andre Drummond, who is taking on a bigger role in the offense. The Pistons brought in SG Avery Bradley in a trade from Boston over the summer and will start him in the backcourt. The Pistons took three of the four meetings last season, including both in Detroit. Hornets are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference. Favorite is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. |

10-15-17 | Steelers v. Chiefs -4 | Top | 19-13 | Loss | -105 | 28 h 20 m | Show |
Chiefs – 4 The Pittsburgh Steelers were the last team to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs, and they’ll try to do it again when the teams meet Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs, who were ousted from last year’s playoffs with an 18-16 home loss to the Steelers, are the lone unbeaten team remaining in the NFL. Kansas City’s offense has been far more effective through five games in 2017, ranking second in the NFL in total offense and leading the league in scoring. The Steelers have lost two of three, including an ugly 30-9 setback against Jacksonville last week in which Ben Roethlisberger threw five interceptions. Pittsburgh has struggled a bit on offense despite boasting a star running back in Le’Veon Bell and the league’s leading receiver in Antonio Brown, who has recorded three 100-yard performances already this season. Brown’s likely matchup with Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters will be a key, as will the Steelers’ ability to give Roethlisberger time against Kansas City's strong pass rush. The Steelers have had the best pass defense in the league, but they rank 28th against the run. Kansas City’s offense is running smoothly with Alex Smith at the helm and surrounded by a wealth of weapons. Rookie running back Kareem Hunt leads the league in rushing (609 yards) and scrimmage yards (775) and has scored six touchdowns, while receiver Tyreek Hill is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. Steelers are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. Chiefs are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. Steelers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Kansas City. |

10-15-17 | Chargers +4 v. Raiders | Top | 17-16 | Win | 100 | 28 h 19 m | Show |
Chargers +4 The Oakland Raiders are expected to have their star quarterback on the field Sunday as they attempt to halt a three-game slide when they host the AFC West-rival Los Angeles Chargers. Derek Carr is slated to return after missing just one game due to a transverse process fracture in his back as Oakland still plans to host the contest despite an unhealthy level of air quality caused by the devastating wildfires in the Bay Area. Carr was injured in the Raiders' 16-10 loss at Denver on Oct. 1 but had a miserable showing in a 27-10 setback at Washington the previous week, completing 19-of-31 passes for only 118 yards and a touchdown while throwing his first two interceptions of the season. Los Angeles is coming off a 27-22 road win over the New York Giants after beginning the campaign with four straight losses, although three of the defeats were by a combined seven points. Los Angeles is hoping for another strong performance from Melvin Gordon, who was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 105 yards on 20 carries and making six catches for 58 yards and a pair of touchdowns versus the Giants. The 24-year-old, who is tied for the league lead among running backs with three receiving TDs, gained a total of 114 yards on 36 rushes over his previous three games. Philip Rivers has excelled in Oakland of late, passing for 949 yards and eight touchdowns with only two interceptions in his last three visits. Los Angeles LB Melvin Ingram (7.5) and DE Joey Bosa have combined for 12 sacks, the most in the league among two teammates. Chargers are 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 road games. Raiders are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Underdog is 14-2 ATS in their last 16 meetings.

10-15-17 | Rams +2.5 v. Jaguars | Top | 27-17 | Win | 100 | 28 h 0 m | Show |
Rams + 2.5 The Jacksonville Jaguars are beginning to make believers with their swarming defense that recorded an eye-opening 10 sacks in the season opener and picked off Ben Roethlisberger five times in a 30-9 win at Pittsburgh last week. The Jaguars will look to slow down Jared Goff and the visiting Los Angeles Rams, who lead the NFC in scoring, when the two teams meet on Sunday. The Rams will look to run the ball with Todd Gurley against the Jaguars' suspect rushing defense, which ranks second to last in the NFL. Gurley leads the league with seven touchdowns, four of which have come on the ground. Goff has thrown for an average of 272 passing yards per game with seven touchdowns and just three interceptions. Rams are 11-5-1 ATS in their last 17 games in Week 6. Jaguars are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win of more than 14 points. Rams are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. |

10-15-17 | Browns v. Texans -9 | Top | 17-33 | Win | 100 | 25 h 56 m | Show |
Texans – 9 The Houston Texans couldn't be more thrilled with the way their rookie quarterback is performing while the Cleveland Browns have already benched their latest quarterback of the future. The Browns will turn to Kevin Hogan under center when they visit the Texans on Sunday. Winless Cleveland started rookie DeShone Kizer at quarterback in each of the first five games but benched him in favor of Hogan during a 17-14 loss to the New York Jets last week. The Browns will give the starting job to Hogan, a second-year player out of Stanford, for Week 6. Houston rookie DeShaun Watson, who was passed over in the draft by Cleveland, became the first rookie in NFL history with five total touchdowns in back-to-back games when he threw five TD passes against the Chiefs last week. Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins hauled in three TD receptions last week and has five on the season, one more than his 16-game total from 2016. Browns are 0-9 ATS in their last 9 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game and are 5-23 ATS in their last 28 games following a straight up loss. Texans are 19-6-2 ATS in their last 27 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game. Browns are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings. |

10-15-17 | Packers -3 v. Vikings | Top | 10-23 | Loss | -105 | 25 h 56 m | Show |
Packers – 3 Aaron Rodgers has done a masterful job masking what ails the Green Bay Packers, as the two-time NFL MVP continues to throw touchdowns passes despite several moving parts in the offensive line and backfield. Rodgers may see the return of several key cogs as the Packers vie for their fourth straight victory on Sunday when they visit the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium. Rodgers earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors after he capped a three-touchdown performance with a 12-yard scoring strike to Davante Adams in last week's 35-31 come-from-behind victory at Dallas. Under Rodgers' watch, Green Bay ranks fourth in the NFL in points scored (26.2), third in third-down conversions (48.4 percent) and first in red zone efficiency (78.9 percent). Minnesota has seen a revolving door at quarterback of late as Case Keenum likely will be under center with Sam Bradford sitting out practice this week after aggravating his knee injury in Monday's 20-17 win at Chicago. Keenum completed 17 of 21 passes for just 140 yards in relief last week and likely will make his fourth start of the season on Sunday. Packers WR Jordy Nelson collected 14 receptions for 227 yards and three touchdowns in two contests last season versus the Vikings. Packers are 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 games in October. Vikings are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. NFC North. |
|||||||
10-14-17 | Michigan State -4 v. Minnesota | Top | 30-27 | Loss | -110 | 53 h 19 m | Show |
Michigan State – 4 No. 22 Michigan State is ranked for the first time this season and will look to keep its momentum moving forward when it visits Minnesota for a Big Ten matchup on Saturday. The Spartans are coming off an upset at then-No. 7 Michigan, while the Golden Gophers return home after a second straight last-minute loss at Purdue. Coach Mark Dantonio has his team back in the title hunt in the Big Ten thanks to a defense that has allowed 14 or fewer points in four of its five contests while ranking second in the country in pass efficiency defense and fourth in total defense (258.6 yards per game). Offensively, sophomore quarterback Brian Lewerke has been outstanding, leading the team in passing (1,057 yards, nine touchdowns) and rushing (309, three) and ranking third in the conference in total offense (273.2 yards per game). Minnesota has been tied or in the lead in the last five minutes of its two conference losses, so coach P.J. Fleck isn’t panicking and will stay with Conor Rhoda (786 yards, five TDs) at quarterback. Injuries have hurt the Golden Gophers in recent weeks, and Fleck will have to replace four sidelined starters – three on defense – for this week’s game. Michigan State had a turnover margin of minus-6 through the first three games of the season but is plus-7 over its last two contests without a single turnover by the offense. Spartans are 18-6-2 ATS in their last 26 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Golden Gophers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games. Road team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. |

10-14-17 | Utah +13 v. USC | Top | 27-28 | Win | 100 | 53 h 53 m | Show |
Utah + 13 Five of the six teams in the Pac-12 South Division have one loss and two will meet up Saturday when No. 13 USC hosts No. 23 Utah at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Stanford moved to No. 25 in the coaches' poll after handing the Utes their first loss of the season last weekend, while the Trojans bounced back from their only defeat two weeks ago against No. 9 Washington State by defeating Oregon State on Saturday. Troy Williams led Utah to nine wins last season, including a 31-27 victory against visiting USC, but the Los Angeles-area native lost the starting quarterback job this season to sophomore Tyler Huntley, who hasn't played since suffering a shoulder injury against Arizona on Sept. 22. Williams was back in the starting lineup last weekend against Stanford, but was intercepted twice late in the game to spoil the comeback, and coach Kyle Whittingham wasn't ready to commit to a starter against the Trojans earlier this week. USC has also been dinged by injuries, particularly at wide receiver and the offensive line, but starters are beginning to filter back and the Trojans still have their best two offensive weapons in quarterback Sam Darnold and running back Ronald Jones II. Darnold, who made his first career start against the Utes last season, has been steady but not as spectacular as many envisioned heading into this season. The Utes have a difference maker on defense in linebacker Sunia Tauteoli, who recorded 11 tackles in last week's loss to Stanford, including 3 1/2 for losses. He's not only big, fast and athletic, but the 26-year-old is more mature physically and mentally than most of his opponents. Utes are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Trojans are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win. |

10-14-17 | Purdue +17 v. Wisconsin | Top | 9-17 | Win | 100 | 48 h 21 m | Show |
Purdue + 17 Wisconsin might already have passed the most difficult test on its Big Ten West schedule, but bigger goals remain. The sixth-ranked Badgers will try to stay undefeated and stay on course for a spot in the Big Ten championship game when they host Purdue on Saturday. The Boilermakers are on the uptick under first-year head coach Jeff Brohm and own a defense strong enough to overcome four turnovers from the offense in a 31-17 win over Minnesota last week. Purdue is no stranger to top-level competition and will be playing its third top-20 opponent this season against the Badgers after home losses to Louisville and Michigan. Wisconsin's defense and running game are top-notch but my feeling is Purdue can and will keep this one close. Take the points. Boilermakers are 9-1-2 ATS in their last 12 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 12-3-2 ATS in their last 17 road games. |

10-14-17 | Auburn -7 v. LSU | Top | 23-27 | Loss | -105 | 48 h 18 m | Show |
Auburn – 7 Auburn couldn't have asked for a better start to its conference schedule - but the real test begins this weekend, as the No. 11 Tigers kick off a three-game road trip with a visit to LSU. Auburn has racked up 144 points in three games to open SEC play, and will look for a similarly dominant offensive showing against an LSU team ranked inside the top 30 in points allowed per game. Auburn's latest triumph - a 44-23 rout of Ole Miss - saw the Tigers rack up 561 yards of total offense while breaking out to a 35-3 halftime lead and cruising from there. LSU’s Etling has thrown six touchdowns against just one interception in 2017, will need to be at his best against an Auburn pass defense limiting opponents to just 176.3 yards per game - 20th-fewest in Division I. Etling has exceeded 200 passing yards just once in six games this season. Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham leads the SEC in completion percentage (71.2) and yards per attempt (9.7). Auburn is 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games in October. LSU is 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games. |

10-14-17 | Northwestern -3 v. Maryland | Top | 37-21 | Win | 100 | 48 h 12 m | Show |
Northwestern – 3 A pair of Big Ten teams looking to rebound from blowout losses meet Saturday afternoon when Northwestern visits Maryland. The Terrapins won their conference opener at Minnesota before suffering a 62-14 loss at Ohio State last week while amassing only 66 yards - their lowest total since 1960. Max Bortenschlager, who was bumped into the starting role after injuries to the team's top two quarterbacks, had a grand total of 16 yards and was sacked more times (five) than he had completions (three). Bortenschlager was forced from the game after a hard hit in the third quarter and remains day-to-day, according to head coach DJ Durkin, which could give a start to preseason fourth-stringer Caleb Henderson. The Wildcats had three turnovers and junior quarterback Clayton Thorson continued to struggle in last week's 31-7 home loss to Penn State. Saturday will mark the first meeting between Northwestern and Maryland, which joined the Big Ten in 2014. Head coach Pat Fitzgerald cites issues along the offensive line as the primary culprit for the Big Ten's 11th-ranked scoring offense (25.6 points) but it is improving. Wildcats are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games. Terrapins are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game. |

10-14-17 | Michigan -7 v. Indiana | Top | 27-20 | Push | 0 | 45 h 42 m | Show |
Michigan – 7 No. 16 Michigan looks to bounce back from its first loss of the season when it hits the road to face Indiana on Saturday. The Wolverines turned the ball over five times and were held to 300 total yards in the disappointing 14-10 defeat to 22nd-ranked Michigan State, and they hope to kickstart a moribund offense that's been hobbled by a porous offensive line that ranks 118th nationally in sacks allowed (3.2) and 115th in tackles for loss allowed (7.6) per game. Michigan has dominated the series with the Hoosiers for the past three decades, winning the last 21 meetings, including nine straight in Bloomington, and the Wolverines aim to get back on track in their quest for their first Big Ten title since 2004. Indiana bounced back from a 45-14 loss to third-ranked Penn State by blanking FCS outfit Charleston Southern 27-0, which was the Hoosiers' first shutout in 24 years. Michigan leads the nation in total defense (213 yards per game). Look for Indiana to have problem on offense all day. Wolverines are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS loss. Hoosiers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. |

10-13-17 | Washington State -15 v. California | Top | 3-37 | Loss | -110 | 31 h 10 m | Show |
Washington State – 15 Off to its first 6-0 start since 2001, No. 9 Washington State looks to avoid a letdown Friday on the road against a California team that has lost three in a row. The Cougars are tied with Washington atop the Pac-12 North standings following back-to-back wins over USC and Oregon, while Cal is looking to regroup after being held to 93 yards of total offense in last Saturday’s 38-7 loss to the Huskies. Quarterback Luke Falk has thrown for 19 touchdowns with just two interceptions for Washington State, which played its first road game last Saturday and held Oregon almost 40 points under its season average in a 33-10 win over the Ducks. Known for their Air Raid offense, the Cougars have been just as impressive on defense, ranking sixth in the nation in passing defense (allowing 146.3 yards per game), tied for seventh in sacks (3.5 per game) and eighth in passing efficiency defense (99.97). The numbers don’t bode well for a Cal team that has been outscored by an average of 20.7 points in losses to USC, Oregon and Washington. Cal leads the all-time series 46-27-5, but Washington State posted a 56-21 victory in Pullman last season. Cougars are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games following a ATS win. Golden Bears are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Cougars are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings in California. |

10-08-17 | Chiefs v. Texans +1 | Top | 42-34 | Loss | -110 | 33 h 50 m | Show |
Texans + 1 The NFL's lone unbeaten team at the quarter pole, the Kansas City Chiefs put their perfect record on the line when they visit the Houston Texans and rookie sensation Deshaun Watson on Sunday night. It will mark a short turnaround for Kansas City, which needed a last-second field goal to edge the Washington Redskins on Monday night. The Texans have been a different team since handing the keys to the offense to Watson, who accounted for five touchdowns in last week's 57-14 demolition of visiting Tennessee, but star defensive lineman J.J. Watt cautioned against getting carried away by the performance. Quarterback Alex Smith has played superbly for the Chiefs, who have scored at least 21 second-half points in three of their four victories, but is wary of the challenge presented by Houston. Watson, who guided Clemson to the national championship in January, threw for 283 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for another score to earn AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. DeAndre Hopkins is Watson's favorite target with 31 receptions, but fellow wideout Will Fuller returned from injury to make a splashy debut against the Titans with a pair of touchdowns among his four catches. Running back Lamar Miller scored his first two touchdowns of the season last week, piling up 131 yards from scrimmage, while rookie D'Onta Foreman provides a solid complement. Texas ranks fifth overall in yards surrendered (291.5). Houston's 19-12-win last season ended a three-game losing streak in the series, including a playoff rout in January 2016. Chiefs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games when playing on Sunday following a Monday night game. Texans are 19-6-2 ATS in their last 27 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

10-08-17 | Packers +2.5 v. Cowboys | Top | 35-31 | Win | 100 | 29 h 47 m | Show |
Packers + 2.5 The Dallas Cowboys dominated Green Bay in mid-October a year ago, but the Packers avenged that loss with much higher stakes three months later in the playoffs. The Cowboys will be out to avenge that loss -- their second postseason defeat in three years to Green Bay -- when the clubs square off on Sunday afternoon in Arlington, Texas. The Cowboys have a more recent memory to purge after blowing an 11-point lead in 35-30 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams last weekend to fall to 2-2 on the season. That's the only history that concerns Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy, who is dealing with key injuries at running back and wide receiver. Green Bay has had 10 days to recover following a 35-14 blowout win over Chicago, a game in which it lost running backs Ty Montgomery (broken ribs) and Jamaal Williams (knee) along with wideout Davante Adams (concussion) to injuries. Montgomery practiced with chest protection while Adams is in the league's concussion protocol, but Aaron Rodgers overcame their absences by throwing for four touchdowns as the Packers improved to 3-0 at home. Despite a quadriceps injury that knocked him out of a Week 2 loss at Atlanta, wideout Jordy Nelson has five touchdowns and 17 receptions in his three other games. Green Bay ranks fifth in the league against the pass at 188.5 yards per game. Running back Ezekiel Elliott led the NFL with 1,631 yards rushing in 2016, helping Dallas rank No. 2 in the league (149.8), but the ground game's output has dipped to 114.3 despite Elliott receiving at least 20 carries in three of the four games. Prescott has thrown eight touchdown passes, including three in last week's loss, but his three interceptions are one shy of his total from his stellar rookie campaign. Star wideout Dez Bryant is off to a slow start with a pair of two-catch games, although he had five receptions for a season-high 98 yards against the Rams. Dallas ranks 20th against the pass (231.8 yards). Packers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games on fieldturf. Cowboys are 1-7 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. Packers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-08-17 | Ravens v. Raiders -2.5 | Top | 30-17 | Loss | -130 | 28 h 27 m | Show |
Raiders – 2.5 The Oakland Raiders and their sputtering offense aim to avoid a third consecutive loss when they host the equally inept Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Oakland scored a total of 71 points in winning its first two games but has produced 10 in each of the last two contests - both on the road. Baltimore has been just as futile offensively of late, scoring a total of 16 points in back-to-back losses to Jacksonville and Pittsburgh. The Ravens also have struggled on the other side of the ball, allowing 70 points in the setbacks after yielding a total of 10 in victories over AFC North rivals Cincinnati and Cleveland. Joe Flacco has not performed well of late, going 39-of-67 for 263 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions over his last two games. Manuel handled himself well in relief against Denver, completing 11-of-17 passes for 106 yards before throwing an interception on a late drive to seal the loss. Ravens are 4-16-1 ATS in their last 21 games in October and are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 5. Raiders are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. Home team is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-08-17 | Cardinals v. Eagles -6.5 | Top | 7-34 | Win | 100 | 25 h 14 m | Show |
Eagles – 6.5 The Philadelphia Eagles are no strangers to the lofty expectations that accompany a 3-1 mark at the season's quarter pole. After seeing their impressive start in 2016 marred by losses in eight of their next 10 games, the NFC East-leading Eagles look to keep their focus on the task at hand Sunday when they host the Arizona Cardinals. LeGarrette Blount collected himself after being held without a carry in Week 2 to rumble for 203 yards on 28 carries in his last two. The bruising back had 109 of his 136 yards rushing after contact in Sunday's 26-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and aims to feed off a Cardinals club that he has gouged for 190 yards and three touchdowns in two career meetings. While Philadelphia has unearthed a rushing game that ranks third in the league, Arizona has struggled mightily to untrack its ground attack as it ranks dead last in the league at 57 yards per game. The loss of superstar David Johnson (wrist) and a patchwork offensive line has upped the workload of Carson Palmer, who is second in the league in completions (108) and tops in dropbacks (201) and attempts (183) heading into a tilt versus the Eagles. Carson Wentz has thrown 75 consecutive passes without an interception and owns an impressive 107.2 passer rating on third down. Cardinals are 4-12 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up win. Eagles are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in Week 5. |

10-08-17 | Panthers v. Lions -2.5 | Top | 27-24 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 13 m | Show |
Lions – 2.5 Cam Newton made headlines for the wrong reasons this week, but the Carolina Panthers’ star quarterback hopes to turn the narrative back to his play on Sunday. Newton and the Panthers look to keep pace in the NFC South when they visit the Detroit Lions, who are off to a strong start of their own. Now Newton hopes to turn the spotlight back on his play after shaking off an early slump to pass for 316 yards and three touchdowns and rush for 44 yards and a score in a 33-30 win at New England last week. He will have to do it against a Lions defense that is thriving on creating turnovers, as it has forced an NFL-best 11 thus far. Detroit has been opportunistic on both sides of the ball, as it ranks 10th in scoring offense and fourth in scoring defense despite being 24th in total offense and 15th in total defense. Their plus-9 turnover margin has played a huge role in that, as veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford has shown a newfound maturity, throwing seven touchdown passes with only one interception. Running back Ameer Abdullah appears headed for a breakout campaign after rushing for a career-high 94 yards and a score in last week’s 14-7 triumph at Minnesota. Lions K Matt Prater has made an NFL-record four field goals of 55 yards or longer this season. Panthers are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win and are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game. Lions are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in October. Panthers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings. |

10-07-17 | Stanford v. Utah +4 | Top | 23-20 | Win | 100 | 31 h 24 m | Show |
Utah Utah is the unbeaten ranked team (18th in the coaches poll) playing in its homecoming game, but it’s visiting Stanford who is favored by nearly a touchdown in Saturday night’s Pac-12 matchup. Some of that is the respect national rushing leader Bryce Love quickly has earned, but much has to do with the Utes’ uncertainty at quarterback. Sophomore starter Tyler Huntley went down with a shoulder injury in the second quarter of Utah’s last game – a 30-24 win at Arizona on Sept. 22 – and was replaced by senior Troy Williams, who started all 13 of the team’s games a season ago. The Utes were fortunate to have a bye week in between, but availability of the dual-threat Huntley remains very much in question. The Utes find themselves in the early driver’s seat as the only unbeaten team in the Pac-12 South with USC and Arizona State suffering losses last weekend. After stepping in for Huntley against the Wildcats, Williams completed 9-of-18 throws for 131 yards and rushed four times for 15 yards and a TD, but whomever is under center will be looking to get the ball to wideout Darren Carrington, who has caught 30 passes and leads the conference with 121.3 receiving yards per contest. Utah will counter Love with the Pac-12’s stingiest rushing defense (87.0 yards) and will look to add more takeaways to its Pac-12-best total of 14, including nine interceptions. Cardinal are 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up win. Utes are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 conference games and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win. Utah leads the series 4-3 and has won both games against Stanford since joining the Pac-12 in 2011. |

10-07-17 | Washington State -2.5 v. Oregon | Top | 33-10 | Win | 100 | 29 h 10 m | Show |
Washington State – 2.5 Off to its first 5-0 start since 2001, No. 11 Washington State heads out on the road for the first time this season to face an injury-plagued Oregon squad on Saturday. The Ducks are averaging 49.6 points per game but could be hard-pressed to keep pace with the Cougars’ Air Raid offense without quarterback Justin Herbert, who will miss the next several weeks due to a fractured collarbone. With Herbert out, the Ducks will turn to either senior Taylor Alie or true freshman Braxton Burmeister against Washington State, which ranks 11th nationally and second in the Pac-12 in total defense (275 yards allowed per game). The Ducks bounced back from a loss to Arizona State with last Saturday’s 45-24 win over California but are dealing with injuries to key players such as Herbert and linebacker Kaulana Apelu, who fractured his ankle against the Bears and has been ruled out for the season. The Ducks are looking to snap a two-game skid against Washington State, which remained unbeaten as Erik Powell kicked a 32-yard field goal with 1:40 left for a 30-27 win over USC last week. I don’t think they can. Cougars are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS win and are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Ducks are 1-7-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up win and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. Cougars are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-07-17 | Michigan State +10.5 v. Michigan | Top | 14-10 | Win | 100 | 29 h 48 m | Show |
Michigan State Seventh-ranked Michigan looks to keep its perfect record intact when it hosts Michigan State in the battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy on Saturday. The Wolverines have won their first four games of the season, including a 28-10 victory against Purdue, but will be without starting quarterback Wilton Speight, who suffered a neck injury against the Boilermakers, and John O'Korn hopes to rise to the occasion by leading Michigan to back-to-back wins against the Spartans for the first time since 2006-07. The Spartans, who held the Hawkeyes to just 231 total yards, are hoping for a repeat performance against Michigan's struggling offensive line, as they strive for their fifth win in their last six visits to Ann Arbor. Michigan State’s Wide receiver Felton Davis was named the Big Ten's Co-Offensive Player of the Week after hauling in a career-high nine passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Iowa. Brian Lewerke threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns to go along with another 42 on the ground to take his season total to 248 rushing yards, which is second best among Big Ten quarterbacks. Senior running back Gerald Holmes, who has rushed for 1,120 yards and 13 touchdowns in his career, and safety Matt Morrissey were named the team captains for Saturday's clash. Spartans are 18-7-2 ATS in their last 27 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Wolverines are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a bye week and are 9-23-1 ATS in their last 33 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. Spartans are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 meetings. Michigan State has won seven of the last nine meetings with Michigan. |

10-07-17 | Kansas State +5 v. Texas | Top | 34-40 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 20 m | Show |
Kansas State First-year Texas coach Tom Herman came in with a reputation as one of college football's top offensive minds after winning the Broyles Award as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Ohio State's 2014 national championship team. But it's been a much-improved defense that is carrying the Longhorns into Saturday night's Big 12 contest with visiting Kansas State. Senior quarterback Jesse Ertz is off to a strong start for the Wildcats, rushing for a team-high 332 yards and three touchdowns while also passing for 706 yards and five more scores. He had 78 yards rushing and two touchdowns to go along with 171 passing yards and another TD to highlight Kansas State's 24-21 win over the Longhorns last season. The defense, led by linebacker Trent Tanking (26 tackles) and tackle Will Geary (three sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss), ranks 15th nationally in scoring (15.0 points allowed) and 21st in total defense (308.5 yards). Wildcats are 35-17-1 ATS in their last 53 games in October. Longhorns are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game. Wildcats are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 meetings. |

10-07-17 | Minnesota v. Purdue -4 | Top | 17-31 | Win | 100 | 25 h 43 m | Show |
Purdue A pair of Big Ten squads still looking for their first conference victories of the season will square off when Minnesota travels to face Purdue on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Gophers are coming off a tough home loss to Maryland, while the Boilermakers had a bye last weekend after dropping their league opener to Michigan. Boilermakers quarterback David Blough has been accurate with the football, completing 70 percent of his passes, but he also hasn't taken many chances, averaging just 11.2 yards per completion. Purdue's defense has improved this year in many areas, including turnover margin, where the Boilermakers are a plus-4 on the season after being minus-17 last year. Minnesota will likely be without its two starting safeties this week, as Antoine Winfield Jr. is slowed by a left hamstring injury and Duke McGhee remains suspended because of a violation of team rules. Boilermakers are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games after accumulating less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game and are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games in October. Favorite is 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 meetings. Golden Gophers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 meetings in Purdue. |

10-07-17 | Miami-FL -2.5 v. Florida State | Top | 24-20 | Win | 100 | 25 h 41 m | Show |
Miami Originally scheduled for Sept. 16 but postponed due to Hurricane Irma, Miami and Florida State are gearing up for their annual instate showdown Saturday afternoon. The 12th-ranked Hurricanes head to Tallahassee fresh off a solid 31-6 road victory over Duke, while the Seminoles come off their first win of the season, 26-19 over Wake Forest, but still fell out of the USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll. One of college football's fiercest rivalries, the Seminoles have earned bragging rights the last seven years under coach Jimbo Fisher, finding ways to pull out victories, with the last three decided by five points or less, including a 20-19 triumph a year ago thanks to a blocked extra point in the final minutes. Quarterback Malik Rosier is getting better and more confident with each game, completing 65.6 percent of his passes with eight touchdowns and just two interceptions, but he and his receiving corps, led by Braxton Berrios and Ahmmon Richards, who made his debut last week, haven't faced a secondary as talented as Florida State's. The Hurricanes need a healthy Mark Walton (9.2 yards per carry), who has been hampered by an ankle injury the last two games, to keep the defense off balance but the Seminoles have been stingy against the run, especially up the middle. The Miami secondary has had its ups and downs but the unit will be greatly helped by a physical front seven that has 11 sacks and ranks second in the nation in tackles for loss (nine per game). Hurricanes are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win. Seminoles are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games after accumulating less than 275 total yards in their previous game. Hurricanes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Florida State.

10-03-17 | Twins v. Yankees -1.5 | Top | 4-8 | Win | 100 | 9 h 37 m | Show |
Yankees The New York Yankees have traditionally dominated the Minnesota Twins in the postseason and hope to continue that trend when the teams meet Tuesday night in the American League Wild Card Game at Yankee Stadium. New York defeated Minnesota in the AL Division Series in 2003, 2004, 2009 and 2010, claiming 12 of 14 contests in that span. This encounter will be the first taste of October for the Yankees' "Baby Bombers," putting MVP candidate Aaron Judge - who led the AL in homers (52) and walks (127) - on a big stage in the Bronx that has played host to many legends. The Twins authored one of the great turnarounds in baseball history by going from 59 victories in 2016 to 85 this year, but must overcome the pressure of past postseason failures, having lost 12 straight playoff games and 19 of their last 21 dating to the 2002 ALCS. Ervin Santana, who is 0-5 with a 6.43 ERA in six career starts at Yankee Stadium, gets the start for Minnesota opposite New York ace Luis Severino. Severino finished his breakout regular season by going 3-0 with a 2.10 ERA in five September starts, during which he allowed 15 hits and struck out 38 in 30 dominant innings. The one outlier in that stretch was a three-inning, three-run outing against Minnesota on Sept. 20, when the 23-year-old was pulled following a 46-pitch third inning. That was the only career meeting with the Twins for Severino, who was 8-5 with a 3.71 ERA at home this year. The Yankees have also won 11 straight season series over the Twins, posting a 55-23 head-to-head record in that span. I hate to lay a big price so I’ll back the Yankees on the run-line. |

10-01-17 | Raiders v. Broncos -3 | Top | 10-16 | Win | 100 | 50 h 9 m | Show |
Broncos The Oakland Raiders likely will have revenge on their minds when they visit the Denver Broncos on Sunday for the latest installment in the bitter rivalry. Without star quarterback Derek Carr, the Raiders were demolished 24-6 at Denver in the 2016 season finale, denying them the AFC West title. Carr is healthy for this matchup but is coming off an abysmal performance against Washington last week in which he completed only 19-of-31 passes for just 118 yards and a touchdown while throwing his first two interceptions of the season. While Oakland dropped a 27-10 decision to the Redskins, Denver also suffered its first loss of the campaign, falling 26-16 at Buffalo in its first road game of 2017. Despite last week's effort, Anderson ranks fifth in the league with 235 rushing yards and is averaging 4.4 per carry. While he has recorded 310 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns in his last three games against Oakland. Raiders are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games in Week 4. Broncos are 8-3-2 ATS in their last 13 home games. Raiders are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings. |

10-01-17 | Panthers v. Patriots -9 | Top | 33-30 | Loss | -102 | 47 h 38 m | Show |
Patriots New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick built his reputation as a defensive guru so his team's inability to slow the opposition has been among the more stunning developments in the first month of the season. Despite ranking last in the NFL in defense, the reigning Super Bowl champions go for their third straight win over the visiting Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The Panthers also are 2-1 but are having issues that belie their record -- they have scored one touchdown in two weeks and are coming off a 34-13 beating at home to a New Orleans team that was shredded for 36 points and 555 yards by the Patriots one week earlier. Former NFL MVP Cam Newton, who underwent surgery on his rotator cuff in the offseason, has twice as many interceptions (four) as touchdowns this season. Brady has a passer rating of 146.5 after throwing for 825 yards with eight TDs and zero picks in the past two games. Which the Patriots have shown a very leaky defense I think they turn that around here at home vs. Carolina. Panthers are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game and are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games on fieldturf. Patriots are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up win. |

10-01-17 | Rams +6.5 v. Cowboys | Top | 35-30 | Win | 100 | 47 h 37 m | Show |
Rams Ezekiel Elliott is off to a slow start after his standout rookie season but looks to get untracked when the Dallas Cowboys host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Elliott, who has been dealing with the distraction of a court case involving his delayed six-game suspension for a domestic violence incident, is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry after posting a league-best 1,631 yards last season to go with a strong 5.1 average. Elliott's counterpart with the Rams, Todd Gurley, is on the other end of the spectrum as he has bounced back from a down season with a strong September as he was named NFC Offensive Player of the Month after rushing for 241 yards and scoring six total touchdowns (four rushing, two receiving). Los Angeles is averaging a league-best 35.7 points with second-year quarterback Jared Goff displaying signs as to why he was the No. 1 overall selection in the 2016 draft. Goff has completed 70.4 percent of his passes in first-year coach Sean McVay's system for 817 yards and five touchdowns against just one interception. Standout defensive tackle Aaron Donald appears ready to begin making an impact after his training-camp holdout caused him to miss the season opener and record just five tackles and one sack in the ensuing two games. Cowboys are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. |

10-01-17 | Titans v. Texans +3 | Top | 14-57 | Win | 100 | 47 h 36 m | Show |
Texans Rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans let one slip away last week when the New England Patriots drove the length of the field in the final minute to pull out a 36-33 decision. Houston will try to rebound when it hosts the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in a crucial early-season AFC South contest. The Texans have won back to division titles but it is the Titans who were the preseason AFC South favorites. Watson nearly led Houston to a shocking win at New England last week by throwing for 301 yards and a pair of touchdowns but he also had two costly picks. Tennessee will ride the arm and the legs of Marcus Mariota, who has thrown for 696 yards and three touchdowns on the season. Houston defeated Tennessee 27-20 at NRG Stadium last season and earned a playoff berth by capturing the tiebreaker as both teams finished with 9-7 records. Titans are 4-21-3 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. Texans are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games in Week 4 and are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 vs. AFC South. Titans are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 meetings. |

10-01-17 | Bengals -3 v. Browns | Top | 31-7 | Win | 100 | 47 h 35 m | Show |
Bengals The Cincinnati Bengals are still winless, but at least the offense is starting to put points on the board. The Bengals will try to turn their season around and get on the path to becoming the first team to make the postseason after an 0-3 start since 1998 when they visit the AFC North rival Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Cincinnati fired offensive coordinator Ken Zampese after failing to score a touchdown in the first two games and looked better under new coordinator Bill Lazor last week, but could not pull off the upset and ended up falling 27-24 in overtime at Green Bay. The Browns are winless as well but are not giving opponents an easy time and came within one play of pulling off a victory at Indianapolis last week. Cincinnati will get linebacker Vontaze Burfict back on Sunday after he served a three-game suspension for a hit during the preseason. Bengals are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games on grass and are 11-3-2 ATS in their last 16 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game. Browns are 5-21 ATS in their last 26 games following a straight up loss and are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 vs. AFC North. Bengals are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings. |

09-30-17 | Clemson v. Virginia Tech +8 | Top | 31-17 | Loss | -110 | 56 h 22 m | Show |
Virginia Tech + 8 Defending national champion Clemson has passed a few early tests already but will face their biggest one yet on Saturday. The second-ranked Tigers put their school-record 11-game road winning streak on the line when they visit No. 12 Virginia Tech in an ACC showdown between unbeaten teams. Clemson already has beaten two ranked opponents, holding off Auburn in a defensive struggle and routing Louisville on the road, and pulled away in the fourth quarter of a 34-7 win over Boston College last week. The Hokies survived a tough test in a 31-24 win over West Virginia to open the season but have coasted past inferior competition over the last three weeks. The Hokies have long been regarded for their stellar defense and special-teams work, but they’re putting up huge offensive numbers so far this season. Redshirt freshman quarterback Josh Jackson has been superb, completing 65.2 percent of his passes for 1,127 yards with 11 touchdowns and one interception, albeit against weak competition. Jackson has a tremendous weapon in receiver Cam Phillips, who has recorded 34 receptions for 523 yards and five touchdowns through four contests. Tigers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 conference games.Hokies are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.

09-30-17 | Florida State v. Wake Forest +8 | Top | 26-19 | Win | 100 | 52 h 47 m | Show |
Wake Forest + 8 Florida State went from National Championship contender to fringe Top-25 candidate in one month and is still looking for its first win. The 25th-ranked Seminoles will try to find their way into the win column when they visit undefeated Wake Forest on Saturday. The Demon Deacons are ready to step into Florida State's spot atop the ACC and outscored opponents by an average of 26.3 points in their first four contests. Blackmon isn't the only freshman in the Seminoles' backfield, and he could use more help from first-year running back Cam Akers. Akers leads the team with a total of 85 yards and Florida State is averaging just 2.7 yards on a combined 53 rushing attempts this season. The Seminoles, who had their season interrupted by Hurricane Irma and already had two games cancelled or postponed, are struggling to find a rhythm on offense and reached the end zone in just two of eight trips into the red zone. 09-30-17 | Georgia -7 v. Tennessee | Top | 41-0 | Win | 100 | 52 h 45 m | Show |
Georgia – 7 Tennessee coach Butch Jones did not mince words last week after the Volunteers escaped with a narrow victory over Massachusetts, and his team will have plenty to improve on with No. 8 Georgia coming to Knoxville on Saturday. The Volunteers face the unbeaten Bulldogs after a 17-13 victory last week that Jones called “flat-out unacceptable” postgame, coming on the heels of losing their SEC opener at Florida on a last-second touchdown pass. The Volunteers are 101th in the nation in red-zone defense and 107th in red-zone offense. Georgia comes in looking like the clear-cut favorite in the SEC East after dismantling Mississippi State 31-3 as freshman quarterback Jake Fromm passed for 201 yards and two touchdowns. With injured starter Jacob Eason nearing a return, Georgia coach Kirby Smart told reporters Tuesday he wants the quarterback who gives his team the best chance to win. Bulldogs are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Volunteers are 7-20-1 ATS in their last 28 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. |

09-30-17 | Maryland v. Minnesota -13 | Top | 31-24 | Loss | -110 | 48 h 18 m | Show |
Minnesota – 13 Maryland looks to overcome the loss of another quarterback when it visits Minnesota for the Big Ten opener for both teams on Saturday. Starter Tyrrell Pigrome tore his anterior cruciate ligament in the season-opening 51-41 win against Texas and highly touted freshman Kasim Hill suffered the same fate in a 38-10 setback against Central Florida, leaving the Terrapins' hopes of salvaging their campaign resting squarely on the shoulders of Max Bortenschlager. ABOUT MARYLAND (2-1): Bortenschlager came off the bench to complete 15-of-26 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown but threw two interceptions in the loss to UCF. Caleb Henderson, who transferred from North Carolina, missed a majority of training camp with a foot injury, but Durkin stated the junior quarterback likely will dress as the backup for Saturday's clash. Maryland has dropped seven of its last eight Big Ten road contests. ABOUT MINNESOTA (3-0): Kobe McCrary ran for 107 yards and three touchdowns in the win against Middle Tennessee State while Rodney Smith also gained 107 yards to become the 15th player in program history to surpass 2,000 career rushing yards. Minnesota has won five consecutive home games. Terrapins are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games. Golden Gophers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a bye week. |

09-30-17 | Northwestern +14.5 v. Wisconsin | Top | 24-33 | Win | 100 | 48 h 17 m | Show |
Northwestern + 14.5 No. 10 Wisconsin breezed through the nonconference portion of its schedule and looks ready to take on the Big Ten. The Badgers will play three of their first four conference games at home and start by hosting Northwestern on Saturday. Wisconsin comes in with a thriving offense led by sophomore quarterback Alex Hornibrook, who completed 18 of 19 passes -- a school-record 94.7 percent -- for 256 yards and four touchdowns in a 40-6 win at BYU on Sept. 16. The Wildcats are clicking on all cylinders offensively as well and finished off their nonconference slate by rolling up 678 yards of total offense in a 49-7 win over Bowling Green -- the second-highest total in program history. The Wildcats are 18-4 when Jackson rushes for 100 yards. Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. Badgers are 0-3-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. This should be a shoot-out and I’m taking the points. |
