11-06-21 | LSU v. Alabama -28.5 | Top | 14-20 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 43 m | Show |
Alabama has rebounded nicely from its loss to Texas A&M back on October 9th, 38-41. They have rebounded with wins at Mississippi State, 49-9 and then last week at home over Tennessee, 52-24. That is four covers in their last five games. LSU will have its hands full here today after losing last week at Ole Miss, 17-31. That makes three losses both S/U and ATS in their last four games for the Tigers. Not sure how LSU will stop or stay with this Alabama team here on Saturday. I look for a big Alabama blowout win. Play the Tide. |

11-06-21 | Mississippi State +5 v. Arkansas | 28-31 | Win | 100 | 15 h 43 m | Show
The Bulldogs of Mississippi State has strung together two very good games, beating Vandy 45-6 and then last week beating Kentucky, 31-17. That makes the dogs 5-3 S/U and 4-3-1 ATS on the season. The offense is 46th overall on the season while the defense is 16th. They face an Arkansas team here today that is 5-3 S/U and ATS. The Hogs started the season in great form, winning and covering their first four games. That was before they ran into a Georgia team that beat them 0-37. Have to take last week with a grain of salt since they beat FBC team, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 45-3. Miss State getting points here today is too much for me to pass on. We get four points points but I don't think will need any. Play Mississippi State. |
11-06-21 | Michigan State -3 v. Purdue | 29-40 | Loss | -100 | 14 h 24 m | Show
Michigan State showed they are the other team in Michigan and they are just as good. The Spartans came from behind last week at Michigan to win 37-33. That kept the Spartans unbeaten in the nation at 8-0. They now eye one of the four playoff spots, but first they have to get through Purdue, Maryland, Ohio State and Penn State on the schedule. Purdue would like to do nothing more than put a dent in MSU's playoff picture. The Boilermakers rebounded from their loss to Wisconsin two weeks ago with a win last week at Nebraska, 28-23 as a 7.5-point dog. They improved to 5-3 S/U and 4-4 ATS on the season. MSU just a 3-point road favorite here today. I will take them and see if they can stay perfect on the season. Play Michigan State. |
11-06-21 | Baylor -7 v. TCU | 28-30 | Loss | -108 | 14 h 15 m | Show
Baylor Bears look to extend their win streak to four games here today. The Bears are 7-1 S/U and 6-2 ATS on the season. They are coming off a win at home over Texas, 31-24 as a 3-point favorite. The Bears defense has been outstanding, holding ever team they have played under 30-points. They rank 35th overall on defense and 17th on offense. TCU has not been good to bettors this year, covering just one time in their eight games. They are also 3-5 S/U and have lost three straight games. The defense ranks 112th and the offense is 39th. Baylor is laying around 6.5-points here on Saturday on the road. That should be no problem for the Bear. Play Baylor. |
11-06-21 | Navy v. Notre Dame OVER 47.5 | 6-34 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 15 m | Show
Navy has had a bad season, going 2-6 this season. They have looked better of late, losing to highly ranked Cincinnati, 20-27 and then last week beating Tulsa on the road, 20-17 as a 11.5-point dog. The Navy offense ranks a poor 126th in the nation and they average just 59 yards passing. The defense is better, ranking 44th overall. They face a Notre Dame coming off a big win last week over North Carolina, 44-34 as a 3.5-point home favorite. They have won three straight since losing to Virginia Tech, 32-29. The defense is ranked 77th and the offense is ranked 74th. I see the Irish scoring plenty of points here today and that means that Navy will have to up their game too. Play the OVER. |
11-06-21 | California -9 v. Arizona | 3-10 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 46 m | Show
Cal Bears look to extend their win streak to three games here on Saturday at Arizona. The Bears are coming off a home win over Oregon State, 39-25 as a 2-point dog. They are now 3-5 after starting the season 1-5. The good news is they face a Arizona team that has now lost eight straight this year and 20-games overall. They are coming off a road cover at USC last week, 34-41. They also covered two weeks ago against Washington, 16-21. Today they get 12-points at home against Cal. Problem is this team has scored more than 19 points just one time this year and that was last week's 34 points at USC. I just don't see them scoring enough points here to cover this line. Play Cal. |
11-06-21 | Temple v. East Carolina -15 | 3-45 | Win | 100 | 14 h 45 m | Show
Temple travels South today to take on the East Carolina Pirates. Temple is coming off a blowout loss last week at home to Central Florida, 7-49. That was the team's third loss both S/U and ATS the last three games. They have been outscored their last three games, 24-135. They have been bad on the road. losing at Rutgers, 14-61, at Cincinnati, 3-52, at South Florida, 14-34. Their only win coming at Akron back in September, 45-24. East Carolina coming off their fifth straight cover last week. They beat South Florida last week at home, 29-14. They are also 4-4 S/U. The Pirates playing at home should score a lot of points vs this Temple team. I'll lay the 15-points. Play E.Carolina |
11-05-21 | Utah -9.5 v. Stanford | 52-7 | Win | 100 | 10 h 18 m | Show
The Utah Utes are 5-3 S/U and 3-5 ATS on the season. The Utes have four more games to close out the regular season and with Stanford, Arizona and Colorado on the schedule they look poised for another Bowl Berth. The Utes are coming off a home win over UCLA, 44-24 after losing at Oregon State, 34-42. The defense is good, ranked at 58th overall. The offense is also decent, ranking at 54th. These teams haven't met since 2018 when Utah won at Stanford, 40-21. Stanford has struggled to a 3-5 record this season. They don't look to be bowl headed with Notre Dame, Cal, Oregon State and Utah on the schedule. They are coming off a loss at home to Washington, 13-20 as a 2.5-point favorite. They have now lost three straight games. Don't expect a win either here tonight against a much better Utah team. Play the Utes. |
11-05-21 | Utah v. Stanford UNDER 53 | 52-7 | Loss | -116 | 10 h 1 m | Show
The Utah Utes are 5-3 S/U and 3-5 ATS on the season. The Cardinal have struggled in scoring of late and I don't see that changing tonight against a good defensive Utah team. Take the UNDER. |
11-05-21 | Pelicans v. Warriors -9.5 | Top | 85-126 | Win | 100 | 10 h 59 m | Show |
The New Orleans Pelicans have struggled greatly thus far, going 1-8 out of the shoot. The Pelicans have lost five straight and are 2-3 vs the number. They are coming off a 99-112 loss at Sacramento on Wednesday. They have been outscored 103.2-111.2 on the season. Their one win came on the road at Minnesota back on Oct 25th, 107-98. They will face a Golden State team that is 6-1 S/U to start the season. They are also 4-3 ATS. The Warriors are coming off a win over Charlotte, 114-92. The Warriors have been very good and New Orleans has struggled. The Pelicans will also be without F Zion Williamson and F Brandon Ingram is questionable. I'll lay the points with the Warriors. |
11-05-21 | Aston Villa v. Southampton +104 | 0-1 | Win | 104 | 4 h 47 m | Show
Premier league action here today as Southamtpton hosts Aston Villa at Saint Mary's Stadium. Both teams have struggled of late. Southampton has eight points over their last six matches while Aston Villa has lost four consecutive games. Southampton has recent wins over Leeds and Watford and a draw with Burnley over their last four matches. Villa has struggled, but more so on the road where they have lost to Tottenham, Aresenal and West Ham. Moreover, they have a -7 goal differential during that span. This almost looks like a gift today with this Southampton club. Take Southampton |
11-04-21 | Jets v. Colts OVER 46 | 30-45 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
The New York Jets coming off a 34-31 upset win last week over the 11.5-point favorite Cincinnati Bengals. The Jets are now 2-5 on the season. The Jets are still not one of the better offenses, ranked 19th in passing and 32nd in rushing and 30th in scoring offense. The Colts started the season 0-3 and then won three of their next four games before losing in OT to Tennessee last week, 31-34. That snapped a four game spread win streak for the Colts. The offense has been improving each week as they now rank 16th overall with the defense coming in at 12th. The Colts defense is 2nd in the league in forcing turnovers. Even though Jets QB White threw for over 400 yards last week. The Colts offense has been good of late, scoring 30 or more points in each of their last three games and 25 or more in each of the last five games. The Jets haven't give up fewer than 24 points since week one. They have gone over in four straight games. These teams have also gone over in seven of their last 10 meetings. I look for points to be scored in bunches tonight. Play the OVER. |
11-04-21 | Celtics v. Heat -6.5 | Top | 95-78 | Loss | -103 | 10 h 59 m | Show |
The Boston Celtics play their third game in four nights as they travel to Miami tonight to play the Heat. The Celtics won last night at Orlando, 92-79. That win snapped a three game S/U and ATS losing streak. The Celts haven't done well with no rest between games, evidenced by their 4-9 ATS record that last 13 in that situation. They are also 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 2-5 ATS their last seven road games. The Heat are off to a great start, 6-1 S/U and ATS on the season. They have won five straight games and are coming off a blowout of Dallas on Tuesday, 125-110. They have outscored their last three opponents by 15, 26 and 15 points. They are also 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games when installed as the favorite. The Heat have also covered seven of the last 10 in this series with the Celtics. Everything points to one side in this game, the Heat. |
11-04-21 | Georgia State +13.5 v. UL-Lafayette | 17-21 | Win | 100 | 8 h 40 m | Show
Georgia State looks to extend its 3-game win streak here tonight as they take on the Rajun Cajuns of UL Lafayette. They are coming off a win over Georgia Southern, 21-14 as a 6.5 point favorite. They have now covered three straight and five of their last six games. Their best game of the year was a trip to Auburn where they lost 24-34, but covered the 27-point line. The defense is ranked 80th and the offense is defense is 101st. Louisiana Lafayette is coming off a 45-0 win at home over Texas State as a 21-point favorite. They have won seven straight game since their opening week loss to Texas, 18-38. However, they haven't fared as well against the spread, going 3-5 overall. The offense is ranked 47th and the defense is ranked 53rd. The teams met last year at Georgia State with ULL winning 34-31 but failing to cover the 16.5-point line. I believe State is a team that can keep this game close here tonight. I'll take the 2+ TD's. Take Georgia State. |
11-03-21 | Hawks +5 v. Nets | 108-117 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 15 m | Show
The Atlanta Hawks are 4-3 S/U and 3-4 ATS so far this season. They are coming off a win at home over Washington on Monday, 118-111 as a 5.5-point favorite. The Hawks are narrowly outscoring opponents this year, 107.9-106.6 overall. The will face the Brooklyn Nets tonight who are still without star Kyrie Irving. The Nets are coming off a win on Sunday over Detroit, 117-91 as a 12-point favorite. It was the teams second win in row, as they sit at 4-3 S/U and 3-4 ATS on the season. The Nets are about even in scoring as they average 104.6 ppg on offense and in defense. Nets haven't been scoring like they did last year and now they have to cover a 5-point spread against a good Hawks team. I'll take the points in this one. Play Atlanta. |
11-03-21 | Northern Illinois +3.5 v. Kent State | Top | 47-52 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
Northern Illinois is coming off a close win at Central Michigan, 39-38 as a 6-point dog. The Huskies have won five games in a row since their loss to Michigan back on Sept 18th. They are now 6-2 and 4-0 in the MAC. The Huskies are ranked 66th in offense and 96th in defense. They will take on Kent State tonight. Kent is coming off a win at Ohio, 34-27 as a 5-point favorite. Kent is 4-4 overall on the season and 3-1 in the MAC. Kent is ranked 28th in offense, but 123rd in defense. The Huskies are coming off a week off where they have done well, going 7-0 ATS the last seven times after a bye week. They are also 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 games as a road dog and 40-18-2 their last 60 on the road overall. The Golden Flashes are just 1-4 ATS their last five games vs a team with a winning record and 2-5-1 ATS at home their last eight vs a winning team. I'm going to take the visitor here plus the points. Take Northern Illinois. |
11-02-21 | Devils -125 v. Ducks | 0-4 | Loss | -125 | 10 h 2 m | Show
New Jersey Devils look to rebound from a loss last game at home to Columbus, 3-4. The Devils are 4-3 overall on the season and have scored at least three goals in each of their last three games. They will face a Anaheim team that has struggled to a 3-7 record thus far. The Ducks did snap a six game losing streak with a win at Montreal on Sunday night, 4-2. The Ducks have been playing a lot of games thus far, three games in four nights before having last night off. The defense has allowed 3.5 goals per game this year. Fatigue might be an issue here early in the season for Anaheim. I'll take the visitor in this one. Play New Jersey. |
11-02-21 | Kings v. Jazz OVER 221.5 | 113-119 | Win | 100 | 9 h 4 m | Show
The Sacramento Kings are 3-3 S/U and ATS on the young season after losing at Dallas last time out, 99-105. The Kings had a 2-game win streak snapped by the Mavs. The King are averaging 109 ppg on the season and allowing 111.8 ppg. They are averaging a bit more on the road at 111.5 ppg while allowing 110.5. Utah looks to be on track for another good season as they have started 5-1 S/U and ATS. Their only setback thus far was on October 30th at Chicago, 99-107 as a 3.5-point dog. The Jazz are averaging 111.2 ppg while allowing 98.3 ppg. Those numbers are bit better at home where they average 114.5 and allow 98 points. I like the over tonight. I expect Utah to get close to or over 115 points, which means we only need around 107 out of the Kings. Lets take the OVER. |
11-02-21 | Braves v. Astros -120 | 7-0 | Loss | -120 | 30 h 53 m | Show
Didn't look like we would have a games six on Sunday as the Braves jumped out to a 4-0 lead in game five. But, the Astros came back and won the game 9-5 to force the series back to Houston and a game six here on Tuesday. Max Fried will toe the rubber today for the Braves. Fried has one start in the World Series and that was five innings and he gave up seven hits and six runs in a 2-7 loss. That's two poor starts in a row in the postseason, as he's allowed 11 runs over his last 9 2/3 innings of postseason work. Luis Garcia will make his second WS start. Garcia went 3 2/3 innings in game three vs the Braves. He allowed one run and three hits. I believe the Braves lose here tonight as they should have won game five and finished this. Now they have to play games they don't want to. Look for a Houston win here in game six. |
11-02-21 | Eastern Michigan +9 v. Toledo | 52-49 | Win | 100 | 7 h 24 m | Show
Both these MAC teams are just 2-2 in a bunched-up conference. Toledo Rockets have won two straight games in this series. Eastern Michigan has not been a good team historically, however they are close to being Bowl eligible this year. They are coming off a big win over Bowling Green last week, 55-24. They played Northern Illinois, the best team in the MAC, to just a 7-point loss. Eastern is also healthy tonight and this for a team that has moved up in the offensive rankings. The defense is about mid-range, which is good news on both sides of the ball. I'm taking the points here tonight with Eastern as both teams look closer to each other than the oddsmaker seems to have been given credit for. Take Eastern Michigan. |
11-02-21 | Ball State v. Akron +20.5 | 31-25 | Win | 100 | 7 h 55 m | Show
Early college football action tonight in the MAC has Ball State taking on Akron. Ball State is 4-4 overall on the season and 2-2 in conference after last week's loss to Miami Ohio, 17-24 as a 3.5-point home favorite. Akron is also coming off a loss, that being at Buffalo 10-45 as a 13.5-point dog. They Zips are now 2-6 overall and 1-3 in the MAC. Ball State is the defending MAC Champion looked to got back on track with three straight wins before their loss last time out to Miami. The Cardinals are now just 3-5 vs the number on the year. The offense has had troubles scoring points, evidenced by their 24.5 ppg while the defense is not good with a 27.9 ppg allowed. The Zips still in a rebuild mode have shown some good signs, but they are still 3-5 vs the spread. The offense averages just 19.9 ppt and the defense is near the bottom of the FBS. Hard for me to lay 20-points with a team that barely scores more than that. I'll take the home dog here and the generous points. Play Akron. |
11-01-21 | Giants v. Chiefs OVER 52 | Top | 17-20 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 33 m | Show |
The New York Giants hit the road today for this inter-conference clash at Kansas City. New York coming off it's best overall performance of the year in a 25-3 win over Carolina last week. Kansas City is coming off its worst performance yet in the Patrick Mahomes era, losing to Tennessee, 3-27. The Giants hope their 11-3 record vs the Chiefs will come into play again tonight as they are a double-digit dog in this one. The Giants started the season 1-5 S/U and 2-4 ATS. They have the 18th ranked offense and 20th ranked defense. The Chiefs have the 28th ranked defense and the third ranked offense. Patrick Mahomes was forced from last week's game with a head injury but will be starting tonight. The will be without RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire who is on IR with a knee injury. The Chiefs are 3-4 S/U and 2-5 ATS on the season. Yet, here they are laying 10.5 or even 11.5 points tonight. Yes, they have the ability to blow out the Giants. I'll just take the easy way out tonight and play the OVER. |
11-01-21 | Wizards v. Hawks -5.5 | 111-118 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show
The Washington Wizards hit the road tonight to face the Atlanta Hawks. The Wizards are 5-1 S/U and ATS on the season. The Wizards have won and covered three straight games including their last game at home over Boston, 115-112 as a 2-point chalk. They have outscored opponents 112.7 - 108.5 this season. They also beat Atlanta on the 28th of October, 122-111 at home as a 3-point dog. The Hawks are off to a 3-3 S/U and ATS on the season. They have lost two straight games, including last time out at Philly, 94-122 as a 3.5-point dog. The Hawks are just outscoring opponents, 106.2 - 105.8 overall. Atlanta has been much better at home though where they are 23-8 ATS in their last 31 games. They are also outscoring opponents at home, 117.5 - 95.5 this year. I look for the Hawks to get some payback tonight against the Wizards. Play Atlanta. |
11-01-21 | Spurs +3 v. Pacers | 118-131 | Loss | -104 | 7 h 29 m | Show
The San Antonio Spurs have started the season with a 2-4 S/U and 4-2 ATS record thus far. They are coming off a win at Milwaukee, 102-93 as a 7-point dog that snapped a four game losing streak. The Spurs are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 20-8-1 ATS in their last 29 games as a road dog. They are also 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 games playing on 1 day rest. The Pacers one of the disappointing teams this year at just 1-6 S/U and 2-5 ATS on the season. They are coming off a loss at home to Toronto, 94-97 as a 2.5-point favorite. It's been a rough start for the Pacers. They could be without shooting guard Malcom Brogdon tonight who is questionable with a hamstring injury. Brogdon has averaged 23.4 ppg through five games. With or without Brogdon, they shouldn't be laying points until they can win games outright. Play San Antonio. |
10-31-21 | Astros -112 v. Braves | 9-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 5 m | Show
The final game of the World Series in Atlanta goes here tonight and the Braves can wrap things up after winning last night 3-2 and taking a 3-1 lead in this best of seven series. The Braves trailed a good part of last night's game, but chipped away and finally took a 3-2 lead late for the win. Tonight, the Braves are once again undecided on who they will start. With the loss of Charlie Morton they have been forced to go the route of openers here late but we could see Max Fried again here tonight. The Astros are going with game one starter, Framber Valdez. Valdez only went two innings in that start and gave up eight hits and five runs. For me, I really don't care what the Braves do for a starter here tonight. This is the game I am looking at Houston to win and force a game six back in Texas next week. Play Houston |
10-31-21 | Bucs v. Saints +4.5 | 27-36 | Win | 100 | 15 h 2 m | Show
Tampa Bay has won four straight since losing in week three to the Rams, 24-34. Since then they are 4-0 S/U and 2-2 ATS. They are coming off a win last week at home against Chicago, 38-3 as a 12-point favorite. QB Tom Brady has the offense ranked 2nd overall, 1st in passing and 21st in rushing. They will face a good Saints defense here today that is ranked 9th overall, 3rd vs the rush and 20th vs the pass. The Saints are now 3-3 S/U and ATS on the season. They are coming off a win last week at Seattle, 113-10, though they failed to cover the spread. The Bucs covered the last meeting, a 30-20 win last year in New Orleans. Before that though the Saints have covered the last five games in the series. I'll take the points here at home with a good defensive team. Play New Orleans. |
10-31-21 | Patriots v. Chargers OVER 49.5 | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 15 h 42 m | Show
The Patriots head out West for their game with the LA Chargers here on Sunday. The Patriots coming of their best offensive game of the season, although it was against the Jets, in a 54-13 final. They improved to 3-4 S/U and and ATS on the season. The offense improved a few spots to 15th overall and the defense is 12th. The Chargers had last week off after their worst offensive performance the week before in a rod loss to the Ravens, 6-34. They could muster just 208 total yards of offense in that loss. The setback dropped them to 4-2 S/U and ATS on the season. The defense is ranked 19th overall while the offense dropped to 8th after that performance two weeks ago. The Patriots have won and covered the last three meetings in this series, including last year's 45-0 win at LA. The Chargers running game has not been good as they have to rely on QB Justin Herbert most of the time. The Chargers should get back to their higher scoring ways today and with that I'll take the OVER. |
10-31-21 | Patriots +4.5 v. Chargers | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 15 h 41 m | Show
The Patriots head out West for their game with the LA Chargers here on Sunday. I'll take the points on the road here today with the Patriots. |
10-31-21 | 49ers v. Bears UNDER 40 | 33-22 | Loss | -106 | 12 h 39 m | Show
These are two teams that have had their share of offensive problems this year. The 49ers have scored more than 21 points just twice in their six games. They are 1-5 S/U and ATS. They do have the 6th ranked defense in the league this year. The Bears have the 11th ranked defense. Chicago is coming off a loss at Tampa Bay last week, 3-38. The Bears have scored just 17 points over their last two games. Chicago now has the NFL's worst offense, 7th rushing and 32nd passing. Two poor offenses and winds that can be up to 20 mph here on Sunday will look to a lower scoring game. Play UNDER. |
10-31-21 | Steelers v. Browns UNDER 43 | 15-10 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
The Cleveland Browns had to resort to backup QB Case Keenum last week as they just did get by Denver, 17-14. The Cleveland offense has just 31 points the last two weeks. It does look like Baker Mayfield will return this week, but how effective he will be is yet to be seen. Another issue will be weather with showers and winds that could gust over 20mph. I'm looking at this game under on Sunday. |

10-31-21 | Dolphins v. Bills UNDER 48.5 | 11-26 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
Not the best football weather here on Sunday in Buffalo. They are expecting winds between 13 and 20 mph and some rain during the games. Buffalo already possesses the best defense in the NFL, 1st against the pass and 6th vs the rush. They should have little problems keeping this Miami offense down today. Take the UNDER. |
10-31-21 | Titans v. Colts -2.5 | Top | 34-31 | Loss | -120 | 12 h 36 m | Show |
The Indianapolis Colts are coming off a win last week at San Francisco, 30-18. They held the 49ers to just 280 total yards and had a +2 in the turnover ratio. The Colts are 3-4 S/U and 5-2 ATS on the season. The Titans come into today's contest off two huge wins at home over Buffalo (34-31) and last week over Kansas City, 27-3. They held the Chiefs to just 334 total yards and sacked Patrick Mahomes four times, once putting him out of the game. The Titans are now 5-2 S/U and ATS on the season. They have the 11th ranked offense, 3rd rushing, 24th passing and the league's top rusher in Derrick Henry. What concerns me here with the Titans is that they might be in for a letdown this week after beating two of the top AFC teams in a row. I'll take the Colts at home here on Sunday. |
10-30-21 | Nuggets v. Wolves UNDER 220.5 | 93-91 | Win | 100 | 10 h 24 m | Show
Denver Nuggets are 3-2 S/U and 2-3 ATS to start their season. The Nuggets not scoring many points, with just 110 their high and the other three games at 106 or fewer points. They average just 103 ppg this season and allow even fewer at 98 ppg. They are coming off a game last night at home with a lopsided win over Dallas, 106-75. They have held four of their five opponents to under 100 points. The Minnesota Timberwolves are off to a 3-1 S/U and 2-2 ATS start. They have seen all four of their games go UNDER as they have allowed just 102.5 ppg this season. Denver playing the 2nd of a back-to-back spot here tonight will have them slowing the tempo even more then they have this year. I'll take the UNDER tonight. |
10-30-21 | Astros v. Braves OVER 8.5 | 2-3 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 9 m | Show
World Series game 3 was the first game to go under. Game one was a push, game two was the over and game three under. Tonight, Zack Greinke goes for the Astros. Greinke made his first start in a month when he started vs the Red Sox in the ALCS. However, he went only 1 1/3 innings and allowed one hit and that was a two-run home run. With Charlie Morton out for the rest of the World Series, the Braves look like they are turning to Jess Chavez here tonight. Chavez has only been in four games since September and those were just openers when he did start. He started in LA in the NLCS and went one inning and gave up no runs. If he goes tonight it will be another 1 to 2 inning outing. I'll take the OVER tonight as the one looks to go to the pens early. Play OVER. |
10-30-21 | Duke v. Wake Forest -16 | 7-45 | Win | 100 | 15 h 4 m | Show
No 13 Wake Forest tied the 1944 team for their longest win streak ever in school history with their win last week over Army, 70-56. The Demon Deacons are now 7-0 S/U and 3-3-1 ATS on the season. They have scored at least 35 points in every game this year and have the nation's 16th ranked offense. Meanwhile, Duke is coming off a loss two weeks ago at Virginia, 0-48. They have had last week off to stew about that pummeling. The Duke defense has allowed 31 or more points in four straight games and five of their seven games this year. They are ranked 111th in defense overall. Wake has won and covered three of the last four meetings with Duke, including 2019 in a home win, 39-27. Wake could score a huge amount again here today. I'll just the lay the points with them. |
10-30-21 | Texas Tech v. Oklahoma -19 | Top | 21-52 | Win | 100 | 15 h 41 m | Show |
Big 12 Battle here on Sunday has Texas Tech taking on No 4 Oklahoma in Norman. Texas Tech is coming off a loss at home to Kansas State, 24-25. The Red Raiders are now 5-3 S/U and 4-4 ATS on the year. OU is 7-0 S/U and 3-4 ATS on the season. They are coming off a win at Kansas last week, 35-23, but failed to cover the 38-point line. The Sooners are ranked 17th in offense, while Texas Tech is ranked 37th. On defense, Tech is 70th overall while the Sooners are 69th. Feeling here is that Oklahoma will be able to name their score in this one against a poor Tech defense. Take the host here. Play Oklahoma. |
10-30-21 | Michigan v. Michigan State +4.5 | 33-37 | Win | 100 | 11 h 6 m | Show
Great rivalry matchup here as Michigan heads to Lansing to take on Michigan State. Both these teams are 7-0 S/U this season and both coming off horrible 2020 campaigns. Michigan was 2-4 last year, but HC Jim Harbaugh made over his staff and the results have been clear this season. The Spartans were also 2-4 last season and it has been transfers that have lifted the program this year. Michigan has the 11th ranked defense this year while Michigan State is 87th. Michigan State has the 26th ranked offense with Michigan coming in at 35th. Both teams looking at this game to improve to 8-0. I'm taking the host here in what should be a great game. Play Michigan State. |
10-30-21 | Bowling Green v. Buffalo -13.5 | 56-44 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 4 m | Show
Bowling Green may be just 2-6 S/U on the season, however, they have covered six of their eight games. They are coming off a loss both S/U and ATS last week at home to Eastern Michigan, 24-55. BG gave up 455 yards of offense to E.Michigan and 325 yards through the air. The offense isn't very good either, ranked 118th overall in the FBS. Buffalo is 4-4 S/U and 3-5 ATS on the season. They are coming off a win at Akron, 45-10 as a 13-point road favorite. Buffalo is 4-1 S/U and ATS in their last five games vs Bowling Green. I'll take the host here today. Play Buffalo. |
10-30-21 | Iowa +3 v. Wisconsin | 7-27 | Loss | -101 | 1 h 23 m | Show
Iowa looks to rebound after losing two weeks ago at home to Purdue, 7-24. The Hawkeyes had last week off to prepare for this game today at Wisconsin. This will be a battle of top defenses as Wisconsin ranks 2nd overall in FBS and Iowa comes in at 13th. Where we see some changes is on offense as Iowa ranks 120th overall and Wisconsin is 90th. Iowa has covered the last two in this series, including last year's win at home, 28-7. Looks to be a low scoring battle here so I'll take the points with the visitor. Play Iowa. |
10-29-21 | Clippers v. Blazers -2.5 | 92-111 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
The LA Clippers are just 1-3 S/U and 2-2 ATS to start the season. They are coming off a loss at home to Cleveland, 79-92 as a 8-point favorite. It was also their season low in scoring, just 79 points. They had season lows in shot percentage, 35.6% and 22% from 3-point. Portland is 2-2 S/U and ATS after winning at home against Memphis on Friday, 116-96. The Blazers have a +4 point differential thus far, but that number goes up to +15 in their home games. The Clippers are +2 in point differential and -2 on the road. Short line here tonight with the Blazers at home. I'll lay the points with the host in this one. Play Portland. |
10-29-21 | Kings -2 v. Pelicans | 113-109 | Win | 100 | 10 h 38 m | Show
The Sacramento Kings are 2-2 after winning on Wednesday at Phoenix, 110-107 as a 8-point dog. The Kings opened the season with a win at Portland, 124-121 and then lost their next two home games between last night's win. The New Orleans Pelican are just 1-4 S/U and 3-2 ATS to start the season. The Pelican lost their first three games before they won at Minnesota, 107-98. They are coming off at loss at home to the Hawks, 99-102, but covered the 5-point dog spread. The Kings are now 10-1 ATS in their last 11 road games. The Kings seem to be playing better on the road right now. I'll take the Kings tonight. |
10-29-21 | Astros v. Braves -109 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 36 m | Show
The Atlanta Braves left Houston with what they wanted, a split in the first two games. However, they left with something they didn't want, the loss of Pitcher Charlie Morton to a broken leg. Morton could have started three games and now they will have to replace him. Luis Garcia starts here on Friday in game three for Houston. Garcia had a excellent outing vs Boston in his second ALCS start, going 5 2/3 innings with just one hit allowed and no runs. That came after a pair of postseason starts where he allowed 10 runs over just 3 2/3 innings. Ian Anderson starts tonight for the Braves. Anderson has been very good, allowing just three earned runs in his three postseason starts (12 innings). I still believe the Braves have the better pitching, even without Morton. I'll take Atlanta here in game three. |
10-28-21 | Flyers v. Canucks -130 | 2-1 | Loss | -130 | 10 h 5 m | Show
Philadelphia travels North of the border here today to face the Vancouver Canucks. The Flyers are 3-2 on the season and have been scoring at a very good rate, 4.6 goals per game thus far. They face a 3-4 Canucks squad that isn't as prolific at scoring, just 2.9 goals per game. The Flyers are coming off a win at Edmonton last time out, 5-3. This will be the Flyers second matchup vs the Canucks. They opened the season with a 4-5 loss at home to Vancouver. The Canucks had their two-game win streak snapped at home to Minnesota last game, 2-3. They had just come off a 8-3 goal differential against Seattle and Chicago. I'm going to take Vancouver again here tonight. Play the Canucks. |
10-28-21 | Packers +6.5 v. Cardinals | Top | 24-21 | Win | 100 | 8 h 17 m | Show |
The two hottest teams in the NFL meet here tonight as the Arizona Cardinals host the Green Bay Packers. Green opened with that loss to the New Orleans Saints, 3-38. Since then they are 6-0 both S/U and ATS. They are coming off a home win over Washington, 24-10. The Packers defense has gotten better and better as the season has progressed, now ranked 7th overall and 22nd vs the rush and 6th vs the rush. Arizona is a perfect 7-0 on the season and 6-1 ATS. So something has to give tonight with these two hot teams. The Cardinals are coming off a 31-5 win at home against Houston. They have scored at least 30 points in six of their seven games this year. The defense is also excellent, ranked 5th overall on the season. Despite the high scoring average, they are ranked just 7th overall on offense, 5th rushing and 11th passing. The defense will be without JJ Watt tonight who is nursing a shoulder injury. The Packers could be without WR Davante Adams who is going through a Covid protocol. Still, for me, the 6.5-points looks to much to pass on with Aaron Rodgers and company. I'll take the dog here tonight. |
10-28-21 | Knicks +1.5 v. Bulls | 104-103 | Win | 100 | 8 h 8 m | Show
The NY Knicks look to improve on their 3-1 record here tonight as they travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls. The Knicks are coming off a win at home over Philadelphia, 112-99. The Knicks have a +9.0 point differential thus far on the young season. The Bulls are a perfect 4-0 S/U and ATS on the season as they enter play tonight. However, two of those wins came against Detroit and one against Toronto, both those teams having terrible seasons last year. Tonight will be their first true test of the young season. Some may read more into this 4-0 Bulls start then I think it's worth. Sure they are holding teams to just over 95 ppg, but again, look at the quality of those teams. I think the Knicks are the better team and they prove it here tonight. Play New York. |
10-28-21 | Troy +17 v. Coastal Carolina | 28-35 | Win | 100 | 7 h 27 m | Show
Sun Belt conference action tonight has the Troy Trojans taking on Coastal Carolina Chaticleers tonight. Troy is 4-3 S/U overall and 2-5 ATS on the season. They had a off week last week so they have had a few weeks to prepare for this contest. Coastal is 6-1 S/U and 5-2 ATS on the season and coming off its first loss of the year last week at Appalachian State, 27-30 as a 4.5-point favorite. Coastal has a offense that is ranked 6th overall in FBS as they average 524 yards per game. Troy is ranked 99th in the nation on offense. Troy will have the edge here on defense, as they are ranked 7th in the nation while Coastal is 19th. Troy has covered the last four meetings between these teams, including last year's shootout at Troy, 38-42 as a 12-point dog. Coastal the better team overall, but 17-points look like a lot against a good defensive team. I'll take the points here tonight. Play Troy. |
10-28-21 | Hawks -2.5 v. Wizards | 111-122 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 8 m | Show
The Atlanta Hawks off to a nice start to the season at 3-1 S/U and 2-2 ATS. The defense has played well, allowing just 97.8 ppg thus far. They are coming off a win at New Orleans, 102-99, though they failed to cover the 5-point favorite line. The Washington Wizards also 3-1 S/U and ATS on the season. The Wizards lone loss coming at Brooklyn, 90-104. They bounced back last game with a win at Boston last night, 116-107. They now have to play their second of a back-to-back spot here tonight. That's always tough in the NBA. Not happy about laying 2 or 3 points on the road with the Hawks, but they are good enough to cover that, especially with the Wizards playing a tough road game last night. Play Atlanta. |
10-28-21 | Pistons v. 76ers UNDER 213 | 102-110 | Win | 100 | 7 h 8 m | Show
The Detroit Pistons take on the Philadelphia 76ers in a Eastern Conference matchup here tonight. Both teams nursing injuries with the Pistons' F Jermai Grant questionable tonight with a elbow. He's averaging 16.5 ppg in two games thus far. The Sixers could be without F Joel Embiid, who has a knee injury. These two players absence will put a damper on scoring. The Pistons have seen 11 of their last 15 games go under when they have been a dog. The Sixers are 1-7 O/U in their last eight games overall and 0-4 O/U in their last four home games. I'll look to take the UNDER here tonight. |
10-27-21 | Braves v. Astros OVER 8.5 | Top | 2-7 | Win | 100 | 6 h 13 m | Show |
The Braves took game one of the World Series here on Tuesday night, 6-2. The total was a push for the over/under players. Tonight, the Astros looks to salvage one of the two home games. For me, I'm returning to the total here tonight. The Astros held to their lowest total so far in the playoffs last night. They have been a big scoring team in these playoffs, so this was unusual. Tonight, Max Fried takes the hill for the Braves. He's been very good, but had one of his worst outings last time out in the NLCS vs the Dodgers, going just 4 2/3 innings and allowing eight hits and five runs. Jose Urquidy will counter for the Astros, He also is coming off a poor start vs the Red Sox in the ALCS, going just 1 2/3 innings and allowing five earned runs and five hits. I don't expect the Astros to be held in check every game here and tonight I look for a higher scoring contest. Play the OVER. |
10-27-21 | Heat v. Nets UNDER 218 | 106-93 | Win | 100 | 6 h 45 m | Show
The Brooklyn Nets sure not playing up to the Nets standard of late year. The Nets are 2-2 both S/U and ATS. But what concerns me most is their scoring. They went from one of the highest scoring teams in the NBA last year to going under in all four of their games so far this year. This could be in part to the absence of guard Kyrie Irving who has yet to play because of Covid vaccine issues with the state. Their points for is a very low 104.3 ppg while they are allowing 109.3 ppg. In their two home games they have averaged just 99.5 ppg. They take on a Miami Heat team tonight that is 2-1 S/U and ATS on the season. The Heat have gone under in two of their three games including last game vs Orlando, 107-90. The Heat have held their three opponents to just 95.7 ppg. As long as the Nets continue to show this low scoring average and the Heat are a decent defensive team, I'll stick with the UNDER. |
10-25-21 | Saints v. Seahawks UNDER 42 | Top | 13-10 | Win | 100 | 20 h 2 m | Show |
There will be some key injuries on both sides of the ball here tonight, likely effecting the total as much as the side. The Saints will be without QB Taysom Hill, who will miss this game with a concussion. The Seahawks are once again without QB Russell Wilson who has that broken finger and has been put on IR. The are also without RB Chris Carson (neck), though RB Rashaad Penny looks to return tonight from the IR. The Saints had last week off to prepare for tonight's contest. They are coming off a win at Washington, 33-22. The Saints are now 3-2 S/U and ATS on the season. The Seattle offense is now ranked 22nd overall, 16th rushing and 21st passing. The Saints have the 28th ranked offense, 9th in rushing but 31st in passing. Both teams possess poor offenses and with Wilson out and Hill out, I expect less scoring opportunities. Play the UNDER. |
10-24-21 | Magic v. Knicks -11.5 | 110-104 | Loss | -107 | 8 h 53 m | Show
Orlando off to another bad start to a season after just two games. The Magic are 0-2 both S/U and ATS. They lost their opener to the Spurs, 97-123 and then played the Knicks on Friday and lost 96-121. Now they turn right around and face the Knicks again, this time in New York. The Knicks are off to a 2-0 start both S/U and ATS. In addition to their win over Orlando, they started the season with a 138-134 road win at Boston and covered the two-point chalk line. The Magic are just 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 overall games. The Knicks are 22-8 ATS in their last 30 games as a home favorite. I look for a New York blowout here tonight. |
10-24-21 | Eagles v. Raiders OVER 48.5 | 22-33 | Win | 100 | 15 h 43 m | Show
The post Jon Gruden era began on a positive note last week for the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders went to Denver and beat the Broncos, 34-24. They also did something they hadn't done all season under Gruden, scored a first quarter touchdown and a TD on their first drive of the game. The Raiders were also a +4 in the turnover game and sacked Teddy Bridgewater five times. Overall it was a very good day for Vegas. They will host the Philadelphia Eagles here today. The Eagles are coming off home loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs, 22-28, covering the 7-point dog line. They are now 2-4 S/U and 3-3 ATS on the season. The Las Vegas offense was ranked first in the NFL after three weeks, now has dropped to 10th overall, 30th in rushing and third in passing. Philadelphia is 20th in offense, 15th rushing and 22nd passing. Both teams possess excellent QB's and potent passing games. The defenses are mid-pack, nothing to brag much about. I like the way the Raiders have come out aggressive and finally scoring early. Look for both teams to get plenty of points here on Sunday. Play OVER. |
10-24-21 | Eagles +3 v. Raiders | Top | 22-33 | Loss | -120 | 15 h 42 m | Show |
The post Jon Gruden era began on a positive note last week for the Las Vegas Raiders. For me, I'll take the points here today with the Eagles. |
10-24-21 | Panthers v. Giants UNDER 42.5 | 3-25 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
Carolina hits the road this week after playing the last two weeks at home. The Panthers are coming off a pair of home losses, 18-21 to Philadelphia and then last week to the Vikings, 28-34. The Panthers continue to struggle on offense without the services of RB Christian McCaffrey who is out again this week with hamstring issue. Carolina ranks 17th in offense, 18th in rushing and 15th in passing. The Giants are now 1-5 S/U and 2-4 ATS on the season. They have lost four straight games including last week at home to the Rams, 11-38. The Giants have been missing key elements of the offense. RB Saquon Barkely will miss his second straight game with a ankle injurey. They are also hurting at WR with Kenny Golladay out and John Ross and Darius Slayton both questionable. The Giants offense ranks 16th overall, 25th in rushing and 10th in passing. Carolina does boast a very good defense, ranked 2nd in the NFL, 16th vs rush and 2nd vs pass. With the Giants poor rushing offense they will have issues passing against this very good Panthers defense. Play the UNDER. |
10-24-21 | Jets v. Patriots -7 | 13-54 | Win | 100 | 2 h 42 m | Show
The NY Jets looking to rebound from last week's loss at Atlanta, 20-27. The Jets are now 1-4 S/U and ATS on the Season. The Jets have not been a good road team, just 7-19 their last 26 away. They are also 5-15 ATS in their last 20 vs the AFC and 1-6 ATS their last seven overall games. Tough loss last week for the Pats who went back and forth with the Cowboys before losing 29-35. Last time they had this kind of loss (week 1 vs Miami, 16-17) they rebounded nicely with a win over the Jets, 25-6. The Pats usually do well vs bad teams, going 12-3 ATS their last 15 vs losing road teams and 25-10 ATS vs all losing teams. The Pats are 6-2 ATS in their last eight meetings with the Jets at Foxboro. I'll take NE here today. |
10-23-21 | Dodgers v. Braves OVER 8 | 2-4 | Loss | -120 | 2 h 24 m | Show
There is still life in the Dodgers. Chris Taylor hit three homes to power the Dodgers to a big win in game five and keep them alive. Officially they still haven't announced a starter here today. It looked to be Max Scherzer, but mayber he'll be held out and they will be do the opener again and see how the flow of the game goes. If they are ahead it might be the bullpens game. IF they are tied or close, we could see Scherzer come in. They would love to hold him back, get a win today and then start him in game seven. But what good is he if you lose today. The Dodgers finally settled late on Saturday on Walker Buehler. He is coming off a rough start against Atlanta, going just 3 2/3 innings with four runs allowed. The Braves counter with Ian Anderson who has pitched well of late, going 4-0 with a 3.89 ERA. I'm going to take the OVER here tonight. |
10-23-21 | Heat v. Pacers OVER 222.5 | 91-102 | Loss | -115 | 3 h 17 m | Show
Miami Heat playing their second game of the season here on Saturday night. The Heat opened the season with a blowout win over defending NBA Champion, Milwaukee, 137-95. The Heat hit 53.1% from the field and 42.9% from the 3-point arc. Meanwhile, the Pacers play their third game of the season tonight. They opened with a narrow loss at Washington, 134-135 and then lost their next game at Charlotte, 122-123. Two narrow losses with both games going over. These teams are both hot right out of the shoot on offense and now they face each other. I'll take the OVER here tonight. |
10-23-21 | San Diego State v. Air Force -3 | 20-14 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 17 m | Show
San Diego State had their issues on offense last week against a poor San Jose State team. Yes, they won the game, but only by 19-13 and they not only struggled most of the game but failed to cover the 7.5-point line. It doesn't come as a surprise that the Aztecs are just 106th ranked on offense. The defense is still solid though at 8th ranked. The Aztecs are now 6-0 S/U and 3-2 ATS on the season. Air Force is 6-1 S/U and 5-2 ATS. They have covered four straight games, including last week's win at Boise State, 24-17 as a 4.5 point road dog. Air Force has the 56th ranked offense, but most of that is on the ground where they average 336 yards per game. Expect a lower scoring, hard fought battle in this contest. I expect the Falcons though to use that potent ground game to keep the Aztecs offense off the field tonight. Play Air Force. |
10-23-21 | Clemson v. Pittsburgh -3 | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 13 h 51 m | Show
Pittsburgh continues to flex their muscles, coming off a win at Virginia Tech, 28-7. That make the Panther 5-1 S/U and 4-1 ATS on the season. The defense has been very good, ranked 27th overall in the country. The offense has been even better, ranked 5th overall in the country. Clemson is 4-2 S/U and 0-6 ATS on the season. The defense has been solid as usual, but the offense has struggled, scoring over 21 points just once this year and that was against non-FBS opponent South Carolina State, 49-3. The defense is ranked 24th overall while the offense is a poor 115th. Pitt laying around a Field goal here today and with their excellent defense they should be able to keep this Clemson offense in check. Play Pittsburgh. |
10-23-21 | Oklahoma State +7 v. Iowa State | Top | 21-24 | Win | 100 | 13 h 48 m | Show |
Huge game for both these Big 12 teams if one of them wants to win the conference title. Oklahoma State is 6-0 S/U and 3-0 in conference play. The Pokes have covered their last four games, including last week's win at Texas, 32-24 as a 5.5-point dog. This club has the 19th ranked defense in the FBS and the 81st ranked offense. Iowa State is coming off a win last week at Kansas State, 33-20 as a 6.5-point favorite. They have covered three of their last four games and are 4-2 S/U and 3-3 ATS on the season. Tough game to call here today, but getting a touchdown with a 6-0 team that has a very good defense is enough for me. Play Oklahoma State. |
10-22-21 | Washington v. Arizona UNDER 45.5 | 21-16 | Win | 100 | 9 h 40 m | Show
Washington Huskies lost their opening game of the season to FBC Montana Grizzlies, 7-13 and that was an omen to how this season has gone. Since then they are just 1-4 S/U and ATS on the season. Their only win coming against the worst defense in the country, Arkansas State, 52-3. Last week, they lost at home to UCLA, 17-24 as a 1-point favorite. The Huskies offense has been poor, ranked 96th on the season. The good news for Washington is that they play a team that has lost a school record 18-games and is coming off their worst game of the year, a 34-0 loss to Colorado. How bad has the Arizona offense been? In six games this season they have yet to crack 20 or more points. The offense is ranked 102nd in the FBS. Tonight we get two very bad offenses meeting. That means lets take the UNDER. |
10-22-21 | Spurs +7.5 v. Nuggets | 96-102 | Win | 100 | 8 h 16 m | Show
Both these teams opened the season with wins. The Spurs opened with an easy win at home over Orlando, 123-97 while Denver won at Phoenix, 110-98. The Spurs have been a very good road team dating back to last season, 14-6-1 ATS in their last 21 road games. The Nuggets are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. Not a lot to go on this early, but after watching the Spurs win the other night, I'll take them here plus the points. Take San Antonio. |
10-22-21 | Red Sox v. Astros OVER 8.5 | Top | 0-5 | Loss | -115 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
Boston has their backs against the wall here on Friday as they face elimination in the ALCS. They trail the Houston Astros 2-3 as we play games 5 and 6 in Texas. The Astros took the last two games in Boston by a combined 18-3 score, with both game just getting over. The Red Sox will turn their best pitcher of late, Nathan Eovaldi. Eovaldi won the Wild Card game over the Yankees and then had a no decision in his one Tampa Bay start and beat the Astros. He's allowed six runs in his 15 2/3 innings of work in the playoffs. Houston will start Luis Garcia who faced off against Eovaldi in their last game. He only went one inning and allowed two hits and five runs, one of those a grand slam. He's now allowed 10 runs in just 3 2/3 innings of playoff work. I'm going to stick with what's worked and that's the OVER. |
10-21-21 | Clippers v. Warriors -3 | 113-115 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 25 m | Show
The Golden State Warriors opened their season at the Lakers a few nights ago and while they trailed for three quarters they made a huge run in the 4th quarter to pull away for the win. The Warriors outscored the Lakers in the 4th quarter 38-29 en route to their win, 121-114 and the cover. This just kept up where they left off last year. The Warriors are now 7-0 ATS over their last seven games. The Clippers have played well too, finishing last year on a 7-3 ATS run their last 10 games. This series is usually high scoring with 16 of the last 27 going over the total. I really liked the way the Warriors looked in their win over the Lakers. They may be showing they are a team to contend with once again in the Pacific division. Take Golden State here tonight. |
10-21-21 | Broncos v. Browns UNDER 41 | Top | 14-17 | Win | 100 | 20 h 16 m | Show |
This AFC contest could come down to a battle of the backup QB's. Browns QB Mayfield is already ruled out for this game and Case Keenum is the starter. The Broncos QB Teddy Bridgewater has both a quad and foot injury and while he's not listed as out, it could be a tough game for him to play. The Broncos opened the season with three wins, but have now lost three straight after last week's loss to Las Vegas, 24-34. The Browns are also 3-3 on the season after last week's loss at home to Arizona, 14-34. The offense managed just 290 total yards in the loss and had trouble protecting their QB's with five sacks allowed. The Broncos have been a good under team with five of their last seven road games going under. This is thanks to their 4th ranked defense. The Browns also have a very good defense, ranked 3rd overall. And this game looks to be a battle between these top rated units. Turnovers likely also key here today. I'll take the UNDER with QB issues on both sides. |
10-21-21 | Braves v. Dodgers OVER 8 | 2-11 | Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show
I'm very surprised at how the LA Dodgers have performed in this NLCS. It almost appears that the Giants series just took everything out of them. They have lost that excellent pitching they have had all year and even into the Wild Card and NLDS series. They have made errors and mental base running errors too. Now they are down 1-3 in this series as the Braves won again on Wednesday, 9-2. LA Likely will go with a opener here tonight so they are undecided at this moment. Max Fried goes for the Braves and I have been high on him all season long. The Dodgers will need some coaching overahaul during the offseason I'm afraid as Roberts just isn't the right fit for a team of this magnitude. He was quick to pull Scherzer when he was in a 1-1 game but left in Urias when he obviously was having problems. Those kinds of decisions will get this game OVER tonight. |
10-21-21 | UL-Lafayette -18 v. Arkansas State | 28-27 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 45 m | Show
UL Lafayette Rajun Cajuns opened the season with a loss at Texas. Since then, they are 5-0 S/U and 2-3 ATS. That includes last week's win over Appalachian State, 41-13. Now they get to feast on the worst ranked defense in the FBS, Arkansas State. The Arkansas State Red Wolves have allowed an average of 584 yards per game, that's 81 more the next worst team (South Florida, 503). It's no wonder then that the Wolves have allowed 52 or more points in four of their six games. The are coming off a loss at home to Coastal Carolina, 20-52 as a 19.5-point dog. This one has the markings of a ULL blowout win here tonight. Lay the points with the road team. |
10-21-21 | Tulane v. SMU -13.5 | 26-55 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show
SMU Mustangs are once again a high scoring team as they have at least 31 points in every game this season with a 6-0 S/U and 4-2 ATS mark on the year. They had a less than normal effort last week at Navy as they won 31-24, but failed to cover the 13.5-point line. Now they return home here tonight to play Tulane Green Wave. Tulane got pummeled last week at home against Houston, 22-40 as a 5.5-point dog. It was the team's fourth straight loss both S/U and ATS. In addition, they have allowed 61, 28, 52 and 40 point in their last four games. They best effort was a 21-28 loss at home to UAB as a 4-point favorite. Now they face an SMU team that is 7th ranked in the nation in offense. SMU has also won the last five meetings with TULANE, going 3-2 vs the number. Not sure how Tulane will stop this SMU club here tonight. I'll lay the 14-points with the Mustangs. |
10-20-21 | Rockets v. Wolves OVER 229.5 | 106-124 | Win | 100 | 9 h 20 m | Show
Both these clubs begin their respective seasons tonight. Houston Rockets have a very young team and with that not much expected of them during a rebuild. Minnesota had a poor year last season, despite having four players that averaged 19 ppg. Karl-Anthony Towns was the guy last year in Minnesota, averaging 24.8 ppg. The Rockets were a pretty good over team last year, finishing the season on a 7-1 o/u run. This series has also been an over series with 12 of the last 16 meetings in Minnesota going over. I'll take a small shot here tonight on the OVER. |
10-20-21 | Wizards v. Raptors -2.5 | 98-83 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 60 m | Show
The Washington Wizards open the season on the road as they travel to Toronto to take on the Raptors. The Wizards were beaten in the playoffs in five games to the Philadelphia 76ers. Meanwhile, Toronto finished out of the playoff picture last year in 12th place. The Raptors have won nine of the last 10 in this matchup. Both teams going through changes from last year's version of their club. Washington dumped most of their veteran players for younger ones. Early in the season it's hard to get a handle on teams, but I like the Raptors here in this spot tonight. Play Toronto. |
10-20-21 | Coastal Carolina v. Appalachian State +5.5 | Top | 27-30 | Win | 100 | 9 h 22 m | Show |
App State would like to forget last week, as they were pummeled at UL Lafayette, 13-41. That snapped their three game win streak in which they scored at least 31 points in each game. App State's offense was non-existent last week with just 211 total yards to 455 by the Rajun Cajuns. App State also had four turnovers in that game. The Mountaineers will need to be much better tonight as they take on 6-0 Coastal Carolina. Carolina has scored 49 points or more in 5-games. Carolina has the nation's #2 ranked offense with 554 yards per game. Only Ohio State is better. These teams have split the last four meetings with the home team winning. Should be another shootout here today, but I believe App State is better then they showed last week. Play App State plus the points. |
10-20-21 | Astros v. Red Sox OVER 9.5 | 9-1 | Win | 100 | 6 h 19 m | Show
If had a ticket on the UNDER 10 in yesterday's game you might still be shaking your head this morning. Going into the 9th inning these teams were tied 2-2 and was playing like a dead under. However, the Astros put up a 7-spot on the board in the top half of the inning to get the game over. They also tied the series at 2-2. Framber Valdez starts today after a horrid start last Friday vs the Red Sox. Valdez went just 2 2/3 innings, allowed six hits and three walks for three runs. He'll face Chris Sale who he faced in last Friday's contest. Sale didn't fare much better, also going 2 2/3 innings, allowing five hits and one run. I've been on the over in this series and I'm sticking with that here today. Play Over. |
10-19-21 | Astros v. Red Sox OVER 10 | Top | 9-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 33 m | Show |
If you didn't know better you might think that the Boston Red Sox know what pitches the Houston Astros pitchers are throwing. Well, that could very well be the case as some are saying the Astros pitchers are tipping their pitches before throwing them. IT sure looks that way since the Red Sox once again pounded the ball with their their grand slam in just three games with the Astros on Monday night. The Red Sox taking a 2-1 lead in this series with a 12-3 Monday win. That makes 21 runs by the Red Sox in just the last two games. For me, I've been on the OVER in all three games and all three have been winners. Zack Greinke makes his first start for the Astros tonight since September 19th. That could be good or bad and I believe it's the latter and not former. Nick Pivetta toes the rubber for the Sox with a 9-8 record and 4.50 ERA. I'm sticking with what's working. Take the OVER. |
10-18-21 | Bills v. Titans +6 | 31-34 | Win | 100 | 20 h 6 m | Show
The Buffalo Bills lost their opening game of the season to Pittsburgh, 16-23. Since then they have rattled-off four straight wins both S/U and ATS. The offense is ranked 8th in the NFL, 5th in rushing and 9th in passing. The Bills are coming off a revenge win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week, 38-20. The Tennessee Titans are 3-2 S/U and ATS on the season. They are coming off a road win over Jacksonville, 37-19. Tennessee has the league's 10th ranked offense but they have the league's 3rd best rushing attack. The Titans have rushed for at least 177 yards in four straight games. Derrick Henry is the work horse of this team. Henry leads the NFL in rushing yards with 640. The Titans are a 6 to 7 point dog here tonight. Expect the Titans to look to control this game on the ground and keep the ball out of the Bills hands. I'll take the points at home with the Titans. |
10-18-21 | Astros v. Red Sox OVER 9 | 3-12 | Win | 100 | 20 h 59 m | Show
This ALCS best of seven returns to Boston for game three here on Monday. So far this series has pretty much been just what I thought it would be, a high scoring match. Both games have gone over thus far, with Houston winning game one 5-4 and losing game two, 5-9. Jose Urquidy will start for the Astros today. Urquidy is 8-3 on the season and has a 3.62 ERA. He hasn't started since October 3 vs Oakland, so this will be his first postseason start. Eduardo Rodriquez will go for the Sox, with a 12-9 record this year and 4.79 ERA. He did pitch against Tampa Bay in the ALDS and went five innings and allowed two runs. He hasn't pitched all that well at Fenway, going 4-4 in 14 starts with a 5.78 ERA. I'm sticking with what has worked for me in this series. Take the OVER. |
10-18-21 | Seattle Kraken +120 v. Flyers | 1-6 | Loss | -100 | 19 h 59 m | Show
The expansion team Seattle Kraken have looked very competitive thus far in the young season. They opened with a loss at Vegas, 3-4, but were down 0-3 and tied the game in third period 3-3. The Kraken then got their first win over Nashville, 4-3 and lost a tough OT game to Columbus, 2-1. The Philadelphia Flyers have just one game played and that was a dismal performance at home against Vancouver where they gave up a bunch of goals in the 2nd period and needed 2 goals in the final 2 1/2 minute just to force OT where they lost 4-5. The defense wasn't good last year and didn't look good in game one. I'll take the Kraken here today as a small dog. Play Seattle. |
10-17-21 | Dodgers -166 v. Braves | 4-5 | Loss | -166 | 5 h 28 m | Show
The Dodgers dropped game one of this NLCS Best of seven on Saturday, 2-3. I had the Braves mainly because of the traveling the Dodgers had to do plus the emotional win over the Giants. I thought this was the best chance the Braves had with their Ace on the mound. Still, it took a walk off hit in the bottom of the 9th to win it. Plus, a base running blunder by Taylor in the top half of the inning might have changed everything had he not got into a run down between 2nd and 3rd. The Dodgers played much better then I thought they would. Which is why today I'm on the Dodgers. Now that they got that game out of their system and they have Ace Max Scherzer on the hill, I look for the to return to LA tied at 1-1. |
10-17-21 | Cowboys v. Patriots +3.5 | 35-29 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 39 m | Show
Dallas lost their opening game of the season to the Bucs. Since then, they are 4-0 S/U and ATS. They have been hitting on all cylinders with the offense scoring 36 or more points in each of their last three games. Dallas has the NFL's 2nd ranked offense with 440 yards per game. They are ranked 2nd in rushing and 11th in passing. The Patriots are ranked 26th in offense, 27th in rushing and 20th in passing. The Patriots do have a good defense, ranked 5th overall, 15th vs rush and 7th vs pass. While Dallas as the 24h ranked defense. The Pats snapped their 2-game losing streak with a win at Houston, 25-22. This game comes down to the Dallas offense vs the Patriots defense. I'm going to take the dog points at home with the defense in this one. Play New England. |
10-17-21 | Raiders v. Broncos -4 | Top | 34-24 | Loss | -102 | 16 h 39 m | Show |
Both of these teams started the season 3-0, only to lose their last two games. Now one of these teams will drop to 3-3 with three straight losses. It's been a rough week for the Raiders. The Raiders lost at home on Sunday to the Bears, 9-20. Then on Monday their head coach, Jon Gruden stepped down as the coach. Rich Bisaccia will be the interim coach for the rest of the season. It will remain to be seen how this whole series of events effects this Raiders team. Denver lost at Pittsburgh after losing the week before at home to Baltimore, 7-23. The offense has just 26 points in the last two games. I'm going to take the Broncos here today. I want to see what effect Gruden's departure has on the Raiders. Play Denver. |
10-17-21 | Cardinals v. Browns UNDER 48.5 | 37-14 | Loss | -109 | 15 h 20 m | Show
The Arizona Cardinals are the last undefeated team in the NFL as they hit the road for their game at Cleveland on Sunday. Arizona is coming off its worst offensive effort of the season in their win last week at home over the 49ers, 17-10. They had scored at least 31 points in each of their previous four games. Always hard on the West teams when they have to travel East in the time difference. One issue today is a Covid outbreak that will have HC Kliff Kingsbury and LB Chandler Jones out for today. DC Vance Joseph and Assistant HC Jeff Rodgers will split the head coaching duties here on Sunday. Cleveland plays their next three games at home. The Browns are 4-1 S/U and 3-1 ATS after losing their first game of the season last week at the Chargers, 42-47. The 47 points by the Chargers were more then the last three Browns opponents scored combined (34 points). Another possible factor here could be the wind, as sustained winds could be from 13-17 Mph on Sunday. Lots of intangibles here to decode on Sunday. I'll take the UNDER on what could be a windy day for passers. Play UNDER the Total. |
10-17-21 | Cardinals v. Browns -3.5 | 37-14 | Loss | -100 | 15 h 19 m | Show
The Arizona Cardinals are the last undefeated team in the NFL as they hit the road for their game at Cleveland on Sunday. |||||||
10-17-21 | Mercury v. Sky -4.5 | 74-80 | Win | 100 | 3 h 46 m | Show
The Chicago Sky have taken a 2-1 lead in the WNBA Finals after a decisive win in game three at home. I had the Sky in game three and they didn't disappoint me. In fact, I believe the Sky have been the best team in all of the WNBA playoffs and if not for that OT they would have won all three games. Still, it's 2-1 Sky and they are at home will they will get that great support again here on Sunday. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm sticking with the Sky here in game four. Play Chicago Sky. |
10-17-21 | Chargers v. Ravens OVER 51 | 6-34 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 16 m | Show
Two of the best teams in the AFC meet here on Sunday has the Baltimore Orioles host the LA Chargers. The Chargers are 4-1 S/U and ATS on the season. They are coming off a huge 4th quarter last week that catapulted them to a win over Cleveland, 47-42. The offense is now ranked 7th overall, 17th rushing and 3rd passing behind Herbert. Baltimore is 4-1 S/U and 2-3 vs the number. They lost their opening game of the season at Las Vegas in OT and have won every game since. They are coming off a 31-25 home win over the Colts last week. Baltimore has the NFL's top rated offense, 4th rushing and 5th passing. The defense isn't as good in year's past, ranked just 25th overall, 7th vs rush and 29th vs pass. These two top offenses should put up plenty of points today. Play the OVER. |
10-17-21 | Rams v. Giants UNDER 49.5 | 38-11 | Win | 100 | 12 h 15 m | Show
The LA Rams are coming off a win at Seattle last week, 26-17. The team is now 4-1 S/U and 3-2 ATS on the season. The Rams rank 9th overall on offense, 23rd rushing and 2nd in passing. The defense was supposed to be the core of this team, however they are ranked just 23rd overall on the season. They are 19th vs the rush and 23rd vs the pass. The Giants are just 1-4 S/U and 2-3 ATS on the season. They are coming off a loss at Dallas last week, 20-44. The Giants have been once again hit by the injury bug. They include RB Saquon Barkley, QB Daniel Jones, WR Kadarius Jones and WF Sterling Shepard. Barkley and Golloday are both out for Sunday with the others all questionable. With so much offense on the sidelines or hurting, not sure how they will score against this Rams defense today. I'll just take the UNDER and hope they don't get blown out too badly. Play UNDER. |
10-16-21 | Dodgers v. Braves +115 | 2-3 | Win | 115 | 20 h 30 m | Show
Dodgers and Braves open the NLCS here today in this best of seven series. The Dodgers just finished up one of their most emotional series ever against their long time rivals the Giants. Too bad one of those teams had to be done as both had won 109 games before the Dodgers took game five, 2-1. Yes, there was a controversial half swing call to end the game, but realistically the Dodgers likely would have won since there were two outs and a running only on first. Still, hate to see the game end that way for a great team like the Giants had. Now the Dodgers will have to turn those emotions to this series with the Braves. The Braves will start Max Fried here in game one. Fried is my favorite pitcher on this staff and he catches the Dodgers in what could easily be a letdown sport for them. Max Scherzer was expected to start here today, but he came in to close the game in the bottom of the 9th for the Dodgers. So, at this point it's still up in the air. For me, I don't care who they start. I'm looking for a flat Dodgers response here on Saturday and a great shot for the Braves to get game one. Play Atlanta. |
10-16-21 | NC State v. Boston College +3 | 33-7 | Loss | -104 | 20 h 52 m | Show
Boston College enters this game with a 4-1 S/U and ATS record. The Eagles lost their first game of the season last week at Clemson, 13-19, covering the 15.5-game dog line. They will host a NC State team here on Saturday that is also 4-1 S/U and 3-2 ATS. The Wolfpack are coming off a win at home over La Tech, 34-27. Boston College has the 62nd ranked offense while NC State has the 47th ranked offense. NC State has a top flight defense, ranked 13th overall in the FBS while Boston College is a respectable 28th. These teams didn't meet last year, but BC has covered the last four in this series. I like getting the points at home in this contest. Play Boston College. |
10-16-21 | Ole Miss v. Tennessee +2 | 31-26 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 33 m | Show
SEC action today has Tennessee hosting Ole Miss. Tennessee is 4-2 S/U and 3-3 ATS on the season. They are 2-1 in SEC action after last week's win at home over South Carolina, 45-20 as a 10.5-point favorite. The Volunteers have scored 107 points over their last two games. The offense ranks 19th overall. Ole Miss also has a excellent offense, scoring 43 or more points in four of their five games this year. They are 4-1 S/U and 2-2-1 ATS on the season. They are coming off a shootout win over Arkansas, 52-51, though they failed to cover the 5.5-point favorite line. Ole Miss has the nation's 2nd ranked offense with 562 yards per game. Only Ohio State is better with 563 yards. The defense is another story, ranked 102nd in the nation. This is where Tennessee has the edge as they rank 46th. Tennessee is the dog here and I disagree with that. I expected them to be the small 1-2 point favorite. I'll take a shot as this looks to be a SEC Shootout. Play Tennessee. |
10-16-21 | Purdue +11.5 v. Iowa | 24-7 | Win | 100 | 16 h 53 m | Show
Big 10 action here on Saturday as Purdue takes on Iowa. Iowa has jumped to No 2 in the AP rankings with their 6-0 record. That is up from last week's 3rd ranking. Iowa is also 5-1 ATS on the season. Iowa came from behind last week to beat Penn State, 23-20, covering the 2-point home spread. The Hawkeyes have that very good defense, ranked 9th overall in FBS. They actually will face another top ranked defense today in Purdue, which comes in at 14th overall. The Boilermakers are 3-2 S/U and 2-3 ATS. However, they have not allowed more than 27 points in a game and four of their five games at 21 or fewer points. Two very good defenses on tap here today. Purdue getting double digits might be more than Iowa can cover. I'll take that bet. Play Purdue plus the big points. |
10-16-21 | Kent State +7 v. Western Michigan | 31-64 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 53 m | Show
Kent State looks to improve to 3-0 in the MAC with a win today at Western Michigan. Kent State is 3-3 overall on the season and 2-4 ATS. They have won their last two games over Bowling Green, 27-20 and then last week at home over Buffalo, 48-38. Western Michigan is 4-2 S/U and ATS overall, 1-1 in MAC play. The Broncos are coming off a loss last week at home to Ball State, 20-45 as a 11-point favorite. The clubs haven't met since 2017 when Western won at home, 48-20. Kent has a very good offense, ranked 24th in the country. Western is ranked 64th in offense. Kent suffers on defense where they are ranked 110th with Western coming in at 25th. Getting a TD here on Saturday with a very good Kent offense is too much to pass on. Play Kent State. |
10-16-21 | Pittsburgh -6 v. Virginia Tech | 28-7 | Win | 100 | 6 h 33 m | Show
Pittsburgh looks to build on their win last week at Georgia Teach, 52-21. The Panthers are now 5-0 S/U and 3-1 ATS on the season. They have been an offensive machine, scoring 41 or more points in every game thus far. That ranks them 3rd in the country in total offense. The defense is good, ranked 40th overall. Virginia Tech is coming off a home loss to Notre Dame last week, 29-32. That makes them 3-2 S/U and 2-2 ATS on the season. What disturbs me is that they barely beat FCS team Richmond, 21-10. The offense has not been good, ranked 116th overall. The defense is good, ranked 44th. But they will have their hands full today with the 3rd ranked Panthers offense. I'll take Pittsburgh in this one. |
10-16-21 | Oklahoma State +3.5 v. Texas | Top | 32-24 | Win | 100 | 13 h 2 m | Show |
Not sure if Texas will be able to get that staggering loss to Oklahoma out of its mouth for this week's contest. Texas comes into this game 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the Big 12. Oklahoma had last week off to prepare for this game and comes in 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference. Ok State has the nation's 85th ranked offense while Texas is 18th. Problem for Texas is the defense, which ranks 107th overall. They will have to deal with an Ok State team that is 19th overall on offense. With Ok State being rested and Texas maybe not in the right frame of mind, I'll take the undefeated Pokes in this one. Play Oklahoma State and look for an outright win. |

10-15-21 | California +13.5 v. Oregon | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 8 h 47 m | Show
California looking to rebound after its trip to Washington State. The Bears lost to the Huskies, 24-31 and then lost to the Cougars, 6-21. That makes them 1-4 S/U and 2-3 ATS on the season. Oregon also coming off a loss last week at Stanford, 24-31. The loss was the first of the season for the Ducks who are now 4-1 S/U but only 1-4 ATS. Cal upset the Ducks last season in Oregon, 21-17 as a 10-point road dog. Oregon has the 54th ranked offense while Cal comes in at 61st. Cal is 80th on defense while Oregon is 87th. Despite the difference in records, Cal is really just as good as Oregon. I'm taking the points in this one. Take Cal. |

10-15-21 | Red Sox v. Astros -134 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 55 m | Show
The Boston Red Sox shocked everyone with a win in the ALDS over the team with the best record in the A.L. this year, Tampa Bay. After losing game one of the ALDS to the Rays, 0-5, they reeled-off three straight wins, scoring 26 runs in the process. Houston advances to the ALCS after beating the White Sox in four games. They also had a big hitting series with 31 runs over their four wins. Houston starts Framber Valdez here tonight in game one. Valdez was 11-6 this season with a 3.30 ERA. He's been slightly worse of late, going 3-2 with a 4.17 ERA over his last seven starts. Chris Sale gets the start for the Red Sox. Sale was 5-1 in his 10 starts with a 4.12 ERA. He wasn't very good in his four road starts where he went 0-1 with a 7.37 ERA. He allowed four hits and five runs to the Rays in the ALDS, going just one inning. I like the home team here in game one of the ALCS. Take Houston. |

I look for both teams to continue their big hitting ways in this series too. Play the OVER. |

10-15-21 | Marshall v. North Texas UNDER 67 | 49-21 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 28 m | Show
Marshall looks to snap a four game losing streak here tonight as they visit North Texas. The Thundering Herd opened the season with a pair of nice wins over Navy, 49-7 and then over NC Central, 44-10. Since that 2-0 start they have lost some tough games, including last week's setback to Old Dominion, 20-13, as a 21-point favorite. North Texas is also reeling, after an opening season win over Northwester State, 44-14, the Mean Green have lost four straight. They are coming off a loss last week at Missouri, 35-48 as a 19 point dog. North Texas has the 95th ranked defense while Marshall is 76th. Even though their record isn't good, Marshall has the 8th ranked offense in FBS with 515 yards per game and 358 passing yards per game. The are two teams having their respective issues. We also have a high total of 66 or 66 1/2 here today. I think that's a bit too high for two teams that are both looking for wins. Take the UNDER. |

10-14-21 | Golden Knights v. Kings OVER 5.5 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 10 h 18 m | Show
Vegas opened its season on Wednesday with a win over the expansion Seattle Kraken, 4-3. Vegas led 3-0 at one time, but the Kraken rallied to tie the game at 3-3 in the 3rd period before Vegas got the ultimate win. Vegas looks to have taken a bit of a different approach this year as their more open style of play has resulted in more odd man rushes. Still not convinced that Goalie Robin Lehner was the better choice to keep over Marc-Andre Fleury, but he's the one they have. As for LA, they have to find a way to get better and fast. This team didn't make the playoffs last year. Vegas won six of the eight meetings with the Kings last year. LA is still led by veterans Anze Kopitar who tallied 50 points last year. They also have young goalie Calvin Peterson. Kings will be improved this year, but by how much? I'll take the over here tonight. |

10-14-21 | Dodgers v. Giants -110 | 2-1 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 36 m | Show
The Dodgers stayed alive and forced a decisive game five here in San Francisco on Thursday with their win in game four at home. The Dodgers made a late change on Thursday from Urias to Knebel. This seems strange to me since Urias has been so good and won 21 games. But, the Dodgers might be pulling a page from Tampa Bay and using Knebel as an opener for a few innings and then going to Urias. Still, I'm not happy about the move. Logan Webb has been impressive and he didn't disappoint in game one of this series, winning 4-0 and allowing just five hits over 7 2/3 innings with no runs. Webb is 7-0 at home this year with a 1.80 ERA. Webb has also owned the Dodgers. He's young and that's my only issue as to whether the pressure might get to him here tonight. This pitching change for the Dodgers just made up my mind for me. I'll take the Giants. |

10-14-21 | Bucs v. Eagles +7 | 28-22 | Win | 100 | 8 h 59 m | Show
Week 6 of the NFL starts tonight from Philadelphia as the Eagles host the Bucs. Tampa Bay coming off a historic Tom Brady performance where he threw for over 400 yards and 5 TD's, first time in his storied career he has done both of those in the same game. The Bucs won their second game in a row after dropping that game at the Rams back on Sept 26th, 24-34. The Bucs are now 4-1 S/U and 2-3 ATS on the season. Philadelphia rebounded from their loss at home to Kansas City two weeks ago with a win at Carolina last week, 21-18. The Eagles are 2-3 S/U and ATS on the season. Tampa has the league's 3rd top offense while Philly has the 14th ranked offensive unit. Tampa has the 15th ranked defense while Philly comes in at 9th. Tom Brady is nursing a thumb injury on his thrown hand, but it didn't seem to bother him much last week. TE Rob Gronkowski is still out and he's a top target in the red zone. I'm going to take the TD here at home with the Eagles. |

10-14-21 | Navy +11 v. Memphis | 17-35 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 10 m | Show
Navy started the season with a pair of bad losses. They lost their opener at home to Marshall, 7-49 and then at home another bad loss to Air Force, 3-23. They were outscored in those two games, 10-72. However, they seem to have gotten better since. They lost their third game at Houston, 20-28, but covered the 20.5 point line. Then they beat Central Florida, 34-30, against cover a double digit dog line. Last week they gave SMU all they could handle in a 24-31 loss as another double digit dog. That's three decent opponents they have hung tough against and covered the spread. They go to Memphis here tonight. Memphis has gone the other way. After opening the season with a 3-0 and 2-0-1 ATS records, they have lost three straight games. That includes a 31-34 loss at Temple as a 11-point favorite. The problem has been their defense, they have allowed 29 or more points in each of their last five games. The defense ranks 117th in the country. Navy has the 58th ranked defense in the country. Yet, here they are getting double digits again tonight. I'll take the points tonight with Navy. |
