06-27-21 | Bucks v. Hawks +5 | Top | 113-102 | Loss | -112 | 10 h 8 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Atlanta 8:30 ET As Trae Young goes so go the Hawks as his performance has pretty much dictated the outcome of Games 1 and 2 scoring 48 in the Game 1 win and just 16 in the game 2 loss. So, Young is averaging 29.4 points in the playoffs with the next teammate in scoring is John Collins with just 14.4 ppg. Milwaukee of course has leading scorer, rebounder and assist man Giannis Antetokounmpo at 28.9 points with Khris Middleton next at 22.0 ppg and he is followed by Jrue Holiday (17.1). The Bucks are 2-0 in Game 3 of their playoffs series with the last a win over Brooklyn when down 0-2. But, here's the lowdown...Atlanta is 20-6 ATS in their last 26 home games 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games overall and the Bucks are just 2-5 ATS as road favorites and only 1-5 ATS in their last six Conference Finals. Plus I am always looking to take a team off a 34-point loss to rebound! Take ATLANTA! |

06-26-21 | Suns -114 v. Clippers | Top | 84-80 | Win | 100 | 13 h 51 m | Show |
Phoenix at L.A. Clippers 9:00 ET Suns over Clippers- I have to label this game my 'Don't Make Sense' playoff selection. Once again the Clippers went down 0-2 in these 2021 playoffs and managed to win Game 3 and now they are faced with still another 'must win' situation. Phoenix came to Los Angeles laid a huge egg in Game three shooting 39% from the floor and 31% from beyond the arc. The one thing they did well once again was make their free throws as they were 9-of-9 and are 36 of 39 from the charity stripe in this series. The Clippers took advantage of a stale Chris Paul who was just 5-19 from the floor and with a game under his belt I expect a much better performance this time out and so do the oddsmakers. I will explain why I consider this my 'Don't Make Sense' game. LA have owned the Suns over the recent seasons going 16-6 ATS in the last 22 meetings including 10-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings in LA. So how is it the Suns come up favored here? Phoenix is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 playoff games and 7-2-1 ATS as favorites while the Clippers are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games after a win of 10 points or more. I have to believe the 'bookies' have this one right...take PHOENIX! |

06-25-21 | Hawks v. Bucks -7.5 | Top | 91-125 | Win | 100 | 12 h 44 m | Show |
Atlanta at Milwaukee 8:30 ET Bucks (-) over Hawks- The high-flying Hawks swooped down on the Bucks in Game 1 and are fearless and playing with the utmost confidence. Milwaukee on the other hand continues to put themselves in jeopardy as they once again fall behind in a playoff series. Game 2 of a NBA Playoff series provides us with some interesting facts. To start with when a home team favored by 7-or-more points and loses Game 1 outright they are than an amazing 18-2 ATS in Game 2. Atlanta has had the best of Milwaukee going 13-6 ATS in the last 19 meetings but will have to overcome this unbelievable trend. Look for then Bucks to rebound here. Take MILWAUKEE! |

06-24-21 | Suns -111 v. Clippers | Top | 92-106 | Loss | -111 | 13 h 18 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Phoenix 9:00 ET Suns over Clippers- There seems to be a pattern with these Clippers as they go down early in these playoff series and then make an epic comeback and advance with or without 2-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard. The Suns with also be without one of their prime time players in Chris Paul whose absence has been overcome by Devin Booker's play. Both starts Paul and Leonard again will be sidelined. Phoenix is 8-0 in their last eight games overall sort of the way they closed last season in the 'Bubble' and they are 23-9 as home favorites. Take the SUNS! |
06-23-21 | Hawks v. Bucks -7.5 | Top | 116-113 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 43 m | Show |
Atlanta at Milwaukee 8:30 ET Bucks (-) over Hawks- Atlanta has certainly shown that they belong as they have won two playoff series against the Knicks and the 76ers. Milwaukee pulled off the biggest surprise in the playoffs to date coming back from and 0-2 deficit after losing Game 2 by 49 points to Brooklyn before rallying for a win in Game 7 over a depleted Nets squad. This line appears to be very high and inviting if you like Atlanta especially when we see that the Hawks are 12-3 ATS in the last 15 meetings at Milwaukee. After two years of having the best record in the NBA and failing early in the playoffs the Bucks can advance to the Finals will a win over Atlanta and they are looking to atone for past failures just to get there. Take MILWAUKEE! |
06-22-21 | Clippers v. Suns -4.5 | Top | 103-104 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 17 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Phoenix 9:00 ET Suns over Clippers- There seems to be a patten with these Clippers as they go down early in these playoff series and then make an epic comeback and advance with or without 2-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard. |

06-20-21 | Hawks v. 76ers -7 | Top | 103-96 | Loss | -108 | 12 h 29 m | Show |
Atlanta at Philadelphia 8:00 ET 76ers (-) over Hawks- It was a great run for Atlanta who has surprised the entire NBA in the progress they have made in the past season but as the Beatles said...It's all over now! The 76ers did what they had to do in their winning when facing elimination and that is something the Hawks will face for the first time. They would have to continue their torrid shooting and that's Trae Young's department while the rest of the crew struggles as they missed 11 of 24 free throws last time out. Atlanta will be without DeAndre hunter and most likely without Bogdan Bogdanovic and they just don't have the depth of the Sixers. Atlanta is just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games and are only 1-4 ATS in their last five games in Philly. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
06-19-21 | Bucks +2 v. Nets | Top | 115-111 | Win | 100 | 13 h 28 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Brooklyn 8:30 ET Bucks over Nets- Let me start by saying at at Pick-em or close enough that you will just have to pick the winner to win the bet. Now, here's the deal, NBA home teams own a 109-31 record in Games 7 and Milwaukee is 2-8 in their playoff Game 7's. Now, we are concerned as to who will actually play for the injured Nets as Irving is most likely out and Harden hasn't been the same and Durant is on another planet while playing at home. Here's a crazy stat, the Bucks are 31-15-1 ATS in the last 47 meetings but Brooklyn is 5-1 ATS at home. This line is just too inviting with all those home team stats so I must go the other way. Take MILWAUKEE! |
06-18-21 | Jazz v. Clippers +2 | Top | 119-131 | Win | 100 | 11 h 42 m | Show |
Utah at L.A. Clippers 10:10 ET Clippers (+) over Jazz- Utah the No. 1 seed in the West grabbed a 2-0 series lead with a pair of wins at home but now have dropped three straight for the first time this season and are on the brink of elimination against a wounded but 'game' opponent on the Clippers. Los Angeles will be without two-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and Serge Ibaka who is out of the playoffs because of back surgery. Utah's Donovan Mitchell says that his sore right ankle that keep him out for 18 games has worsened during this series. Utah is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 at LA against the Clippers and are 4-0 ATS as road favorites while the Clips are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games...Take the CLIPPERS! |
06-17-21 | Nets v. Bucks -5.5 | Top | 89-104 | Win | 100 | 12 h 21 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Milwaukee 8:30 ET Bucks (-) over Nets- My first impression of Game 6 is that the oddsmaker is giving Milwaukee plenty of room to win and not 'cover' in this the highest point-spread in this series. This is what bothers me, yes I understand Irving is out but Harden is back and even at 80% he's good enough to be an asset and this 'price' makes me think the Bucks are more than likely going to run away from the Nets here. The 'number' is just too inviting and Brooklyn is 3-7 ATS as playoff dogs and 0-4 ATS in their last four games when underdogs. Take MILWAUKEE! |
06-16-21 | Clippers +3 v. Jazz | Top | 119-111 | Win | 100 | 13 h 28 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Utah 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Jazz- It's like they're playing with 'us' the way los Angeles hangs the fruit out to their opponents and then snatches it away before the befuddled pray. Aside from that this is a No. 1 seed at home with the line under a long range field goal and we aren't even in the conference finals yet. Just saying it looks way short to me and after a pair of blow out home wins the Clippers are really cocky and usually I don't favor that but LA is loving their role and brimming confidence. Meanwhile, the Jazz have to be shaken to their core as the were totally dominated in the last two and being the No. 1 seed brings a different pressure and attitude and their karma seems shot. The lone tells the tale...Take the L.A. CLIPPERS! |
06-15-21 | Bucks v. Nets +4.5 | Top | 108-114 | Win | 100 | 12 h 7 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Brooklyn 8:30 ET Nets (+) over Bucks- Confused? I am! When Brooklyn went up 2-0 I whispered 'The Bucks look so bad they might win the series' but, was I half joking or completely joking. Either way with Irving going down and Durant the last man standing among the Big-3 can the Nets regroup as a home underdog. Milwaukee is just punk enough to get beat or win under the number while they don't shoot well on the road and Durant had his two poor shooting nights in Milwaukee. Tough call but my gut says take the injured party...play BROOKLYN! |
06-14-21 | 76ers v. Hawks +3.5 | Top | 100-103 | Win | 100 | 11 h 38 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Atlanta 7:30 ET Hawks (+) over 76ers- The Hawks were flying high after running past the Knicks and jumping out to a huge early lead in Game 1 at Philadelphia posting an easy win. Well, nothing has come easy since the third quarter of Game 1 as the 76ers have decided to play like men and Atlanta hasn't been up to the task. The Sixers broke the Hawks 13-game home winning streak and now it's time for the Hawks to re-establish the home court swagger and they are good enough to show it. Take ATLANTA! |
06-13-21 | Nets v. Bucks +2 | Top | 96-107 | Win | 100 | 8 h 50 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Milwaukee 3:00 ET Bucks (+) over Nets- There is 1:20 left in Game 3 with the Nets holding a 3-point lead after a Kevin Durant bomb and I'm thinking same old story with Milwaukee. Here they've blown a 21-point lead and they about to go down 0-3 and then the 'phone rang!' The Bucks come-back win was due largely because neither Durant nor Irving saw the ball again as Bruce Brown took over for the Nets and missed three shots and the beat-goes-on. There is no question Brooklyn is the superior team but maybe the 'Greek' can make a 3-pointer or two because he has no chance at the Free Throw line. Still, 'Karma' is a freaky thing and right now it sits with the Bucks. Take MILWAUKEE! |
06-12-21 | Jazz v. Clippers -4.5 | Top | 106-132 | Win | 100 | 12 h 9 m | Show |
Utah at L.A. Clippers 8:30 ET Clippers (-) over Jazz- We have seen this scenario before and the question is...will we see the same result? The Clippers are once again down 0-2 in a Best-of-7 series having dropped a pair in Utah, with the difference being that this time they at least return home down 0-2 for a Game 3. In their series against Dallas they had to deal with Luca Doncic and things haven't gotten any easier as Donovan Mitchell is averaging 41 points in the series with six 3-pointers in each game. The Jazz have always given the Clips fits as they are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 visits to LA and 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. But, even the Clippers don't believe that they can come back if the fall down 0-3. So, they win, but by how many...is this like the Bucks win, a non-cover or a trouncing, but it's true is Utah is a better team but they fall short here. Take CLIPPERS! |
06-11-21 | 76ers v. Hawks +1.5 | Top | 127-111 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 56 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Atlanta 7:03 ET Hawks over 76ers- After shooting the lights-out in Game 1 the Hawks returned to Earth and fell in Game 2 to Philadelphia as Joel Embiid dominated play. The series switches to Atlanta where the Hawks have won 13 straight since April 15 including six straight over the 76ers. The Sixers who have struggled on the road are 6-18-2 away from home against teams with winning records and are 7-15 ATS in the last 22 meetings overall while the hawks are 20-6 ATS in their last 26 home games. Take ATLANTA. |
06-10-21 | Clippers +3.5 v. Jazz | Top | 111-117 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 4 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Utah 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Jazz- The Clippers managed to blow a 13-point lead in Game 1 but still got the money as the points came into play. Donovan Mitchell was the key to the Utah come-from-behind win as he scored 32 of his 45 points in the second half. Los Angeles has always had problems against the Jazz as they are just 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings and 8-21-1 ATS in the last 30 meetings in Utah. But, this Clippers squad is motivated and will prevail here. Take the CLIPPERS! |
06-10-21 | Nets v. Bucks -3.5 | Top | 83-86 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 18 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Milwaukee 7:30 ET Bucks over Nets- I've seen plenty of NBA playoff games in my time and I seen teams get routed by superior clubs but I don't ever recall a team no matter how high or low a seed is ranked dominate a team the way Brooklyn abused in the first two games of this series. Game 1 was never as close as the scored indicated and the Nets just won for fun as we would say. Milwaukee lost by 20-points four different times this season and they responded with a win by an average 18.8 points after each loss. Brooklyn is 2-7 ATS in their last nine playoff games and the Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last five as playoff favorites. Take MILWAUKEE! |
06-08-21 | Clippers +4 v. Jazz | Top | 109-112 | Win | 101 | 14 h 17 m | Show |
Los Angeles Clippers at Utah 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Jazz- I kind of like this side as the Clippers enter this series as the underdog up against Utah the No.1 seed. LA laid down the final weekend in order to face Dallas yes, but they also knew it would be Utah next. They got what the wanted and took the Mavericks down as the cream rose to the top and now they play a Utah team that has never been in this position as they were always positioned behind at least the Lakers and more. The Jazz had that incredible run that pushed them so far ahead they were just on cruise control the final eight weeks. There is one tiny little thing...the Clippers just get hammer by Utah year after year as they are not only 3-9 ATS in the last 11 meetings but in Utah they are 8-20-1 ATS in last 29 meetings in Salt Lake. Sooo, we DO have a chance! It's times like these I have to remember that 'the future doesn't equal the past' or something like that! Personally, I can say that I am 'playing' this game. Take the CLIPPERS! |
06-07-21 | Nuggets +4.5 v. Suns | Top | 105-122 | Loss | -100 | 14 h 9 m | Show |
Denver at Phoenix 10:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Suns- The 'long guns' have made their mark early in the NBA playoffs as Devin Booker along with Trae Young are bombing away from ridiculous lengths and dominating the score board. Both clubs held service in their opening round matchups as the No. 2 seeded Suns upended the Lakers in five games and No. 3 Denver jettisoned upstart Portland in six games. The Nuggets seem like the most 'unlikely' side of the day as they enter the injured party with Jamal Murray sidelined. The Mile-High club has more playoff experience and are 12-51- ATS in their last 18 games as playoff underdogs. Although Phoenix took it outright to the Lakers from start to finish but, they have always struggled against the Nuggets. The Suns have gone 6-14 ATS in the last 20 meetings overall and 3-7 ATS at home. Take DENVER! |
06-06-21 | Hawks +3 v. 76ers | Top | 128-124 | Win | 100 | 6 h 50 m | Show |
Atlanta at Philadelphia 1:00 ET Hawks (+) over 76ers- Philadelphia's Joel Embiid status for this game is up in the air as suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee and his availability is in doubt. Even if he plays I question just how effective he will be. Embiid missed 21 of the 72 games played this season and the 76ers were 10-11 without him and won Game 5 against the Wizards in the playoffs. Atlanta like Philly need just five games to advance against New York and are playing their best basketball going 27-11 since Nate McMillan took over on March 1. Atlanta is 14-6 ATS in the last 20 meetings and they could take this outright on the floor. Take the high flying HAWKS! |
06-05-21 | Bucks +4 v. Nets | Top | 107-115 | Loss | -102 | 11 h 21 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Brooklyn 7:30 ET Bucks (+) over Nets- A great match-up of the two top scoring teams in the NBA with the Bucks the leader at 120.1 per contest and Brooklyn a tad behind averaging 118.6. In actuality the nets probably have more offensive potential as their number were accomplished with the Big-3 (Durant, Irving and Harden) playing only 11 game together. But, I seem to believe that after the way Milwaukee was jettisoned from the playoffs early the past two years that they are on a playoff mission this season. Although the Bucks are 0-8 ATS in their last eight games as underdogs they are 16-4-1 ATS in their last 21 meetings in Brooklyn and the nets are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 as home favorites. Take no attention to any of that stuff. Just take MILWAUKEE! |
06-04-21 | Clippers v. Mavs +2.5 | Top | 104-97 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 10 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Dallas 9:00 ET Mavericks (+) over Clippers- It appears to me that there has been a 'changing of the guard' so to speak as LeBron James fades in the twilight of his career Luka Doncic has emerges as the most dominate big game in the game and he needn't play near the basket. Limited by a neck strain Doncic had 42 points and 14 assists last time out and the Clippers can not find a way to slow him down. Dallas has won four of the last five meetings and are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games as underdogs. The Clippers are 2-6 in their last eight road games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games as favorites. Take DALLAS! |
06-02-21 | Hawks +1.5 v. Knicks | Top | 103-89 | Win | 100 | 10 h 18 m | Show |
Atlanta at New York 7:30 ET Hawks (+) over Knicks- After winning the opening game of this series with Atlanta I have stubbed my toe since and this one 'kills' me personally as the Knicks seem to have lost their confidence and it has a lot to do with Julius Randle's struggles which are being cause by the hounding dog-it Hawks defense. It seems New York coach Tom Thibodeau knows this team over-achieved this season and can't find the answers. A handicapper I respect told me you have to 'take the Knicks because you can only lose once' and I responded 'I would rather WIN'! It pains me but...take ATLANTA! |
06-01-21 | Blazers +2 v. Nuggets | Top | 140-147 | Loss | -102 | 13 h 42 m | Show |
Portland at Denver 9:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Nuggets- This Best-of-7 series is tied at two wins apiece after Portland was able to get even at 2-2 after posting a 20-point home win last time out. Denver now has the home court advantage and yet the high seed is just a 1.5-point favorite at home. That sends a message to me that the Trailblazers are the play as they are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games and 6-2 ATS as underdogs in their last eight in that role. They are also 6-2 ATS in their last eight meetings in Denver and I believe that they win this one easy...take PORTLAND! |
05-31-21 | Jazz v. Grizzlies +5.5 | Top | 120-113 | Loss | -102 | 13 h 14 m | Show |
Utah at Memphis 9:30 ET Grizzlies (+) over Jazz- Utah who had a great 3-point run earlier in the season when the 'covered' 19 of 21 games while having four players shooting over 40% at the season's mid-point. The Jazz ended up shooting 38.9% as a team from 3-point range but ended up fourth in the league. Utah won Game 3 easily and are 26-12 ATS after an ATS win while Memphis is 10-4 ATS in their last 14 as underdogs including 5-1 ATS as home dogs. Take MEMPHIS! |
05-30-21 | Knicks +5 v. Hawks | Top | 96-113 | Loss | -107 | 4 h 20 m | Show |
New York at Atlanta 1:00 ET Knicks (+) over Hawks- This series was set up as a match between a pair of scoring leaders in Atlanta's Trae Young and the Knicks Julius Randle. The face-off has been failure for Randle as he has gone from averaging 37.3 points against the Hawks to 14.7 points in this series and is shooting 24% in the playoffs and his assists are down from 6.7 to 3.3 per game. Atlanta is young (HA) and hungry as are the Knicks but have struggled against New York when playing as hosts. The Knicks are 7-2-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings including 18-7-1 ATS in Atlanta and they are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 road games and 9-3 ATS as road underdogs. Take NEW YORK! |
05-29-21 | Jazz v. Grizzlies +5.5 | Top | 121-111 | Loss | -108 | 12 h 15 m | Show |
Utah at Memphis 9:30 ET Grizzlies (+) over Jazz- Okay, Utah's Donovan Mitchell has returned and made an impact in Game 2 of this series scoring 25 points including five long range shots which help the Jazz to even the series at 1-1. These two met once in Memphis this season and Utah won 111-107 as a 4.5-point favorite and were without Mitchell and now with him in the lineup they are only five-point favorites. Memphis is the ninth seed and the Jazz are No.1 and this line seems way short to me. Take the GRIZZLIES |
05-28-21 | Nets v. Celtics +8 | Top | 119-125 | Win | 100 | 12 h 20 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Boston 8:30 ET Celtics (+) over Nets- This appears to be the biggest mismatch of the playoffs so far as Brooklyn is at full strength with their Big-3 of Durant, Irving and Harden. The Nets have been hit with one injury since the post season started as forward Jeff Green will be out the rest of this series. Boston's star Jayson Tatum is expected to play despite a swollen right eye injured by Durant in the third quarter in Game 2. This contest marks to return of Kyrie Irving to Boston and the fan reaction will not be pleasant. Look for the Celtics to squeeze out a win here and get the money. Take BOSTON! |
05-27-21 | Bucks v. Heat +2 | Top | 113-84 | Loss | -114 | 10 h 8 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Miami 7:30 ET Heat (+) over Bucks- The defending Eastern Conference Champions are stuck 0-2 in this series and they return home after the worst loss in Heat playoff history. Miami was never in Game 2 after a narrow loss in Game 1 and Jimmy Butler has yet to show up to play scoring just 27 total points in both games. Miami felt that the pressure to win at home was on Milwaukee and that's what they did and now it's the Heats' turn to get hot at home. Take MIAMI! |
05-26-21 | Hawks +2 v. Knicks | Top | 92-101 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 11 m | Show |
Atlanta at New York 7:30 ET Hawks (+) over Knicks- I would love to have the Knicks here and win but I just don't believe that is going to happen. It has been a breakout year for New York and Julius Randle who just won the NBA's Most Improved Player award. The Knicks who led the NBA in defense are now realizing in the playoffs that they need a bit more on offense as their off-guard position has been their biggest problem. Madison Square Garden will be packed with the starving for a playoff win Knicks fans but they most likely will go home disappointed. Dating back to the olden days New York is 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games as favorites and I believe this line after a home loss is too inviting. Take ATLANTA! |
05-25-21 | Lakers -125 v. Suns | Top | 109-102 | Win | 100 | 11 h 15 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers at Phoenix 10:00 ET Lakers (-) over Suns- After posting and winning with Phoenix as an underdog the book-maker is giving me a chance to bet the again but this time getting points at home and this after a 10-point win. Consider Los Angeles is 6-13-1 ATS in the last 20 meetings in Phoenix and are 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine road games and yet they are favored here. All I can say is with the Suns being 11-4 ATS as underdogs is that the 'books' know something I don't. Maybe Lebron goes nuts but, it's the LAKERS! |
05-24-21 | Blazers +1.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 109-128 | Loss | -104 | 13 h 16 m | Show |
Portland at Denver 10:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Nuggets- Of all players that I least expect to deliver in the clutch was the difference in Game 1 as Megabucks winner Portland used the experience and scoring capabilities of Carmelo Anthony. Injected in the game late in the 1st quarter Anthony provided the offensive spark needed to propel the Trailblazers past the Nuggets. For Denver Michael Porter replaced Jamal Murray and for the most part the Nuggets never missed a step as they closed the season 12-4 without Murray. But, Portland is 24-13 SU on the road have depth to win again. Take PORTLAND! |
05-22-21 | Heat +5 v. Bucks | Top | 107-109 | Win | 100 | 5 h 7 m | Show |
Miami at Milwaukee 2:00 ET Heat (+) over Bucks- There are a number of reasons that I really like Miami here and I'm start with recent history. These two met a week ago in Milwaukee an important game for both with the Bucks prevailing 120-103 for their only 'cover' in their last eight games (1-7, L-8) while the Heat have won 12 of their last 16 SU with the return of a healthy Jimmy Butler and Doran Dragic. The Bucks are the NBA's leading scoring team but they have been here before more than once and every time it's the same scenario they play like a deer caught in the headlights. Take team with true grit. MIAMI! |
05-21-21 | Grizzlies +5 v. Warriors | Top | 117-112 | Win | 100 | 12 h 54 m | Show |
Memphis at Golden State 9:00 ET Grizzlies (+) over Warriors- These two met each five days ago both each with 38-33 records and the Warriors (-3) won 113-103 and that is why this game is being played at Golden State. Memphis has been a tough out on the road going 22-14 ATS and are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 as underdogs and 6-2 ATS in their last eight as road underdogs. But, what makes this a difficult call is that Curry belongs in the next higher league and the Warriors are following his cue and are 6-0 ATS in their last six overall. Everyone understands that the NBA and fans as well want to see Golden State advance here and the money has been pouring in on the Warriors as expected but it is exceptionally heavy and I have to fade that kind of action. Still, there is room for the 'gaff' a win and non-cover by the favorite. Take MEMPHIS! |

05-19-21 | Warriors v. Lakers UNDER 219 | Top | 100-103 | Win | 100 | 11 h 14 m | Show |
Golden State at L.A. Lakers 10:00 ET Warriors/Lakers (UNDER)- I'm going to be forced to bombard you with stats and trends for this selection and you'll understand why I like it so. Start with the season records of both clubs as Golden State is 30/42 to the Under on the season and the Lakers were 28/43 to the under. GS is 19-7 Under on the road and the under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings. LA #2 defense and #22 offense playing right into the total. Curry under average by 9-points against LA. Play UNDER! |
05-19-21 | Spurs +4 v. Grizzlies | Top | 96-100 | Push | 0 | 10 h 14 m | Show |
San Antonio at Memphis 7:30 ET Spurs (+) over Grizzlies- San Antonio has staggered to the finish line as they have dropped their last four and 10 of their last 12 straight up and are 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games as underdogs. But, there is a key factor in their favor and that is their road record where they are 14-6-1 ATS in their last 21 games away from the Alamo. Memphis is 1-4 ATS in their last five games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games as home favorites. Take SAN ANTONIO! |
05-18-21 | Hornets +3 v. Pacers | Top | 117-144 | Loss | -108 | 8 h 19 m | Show |
Charlotte at Indiana 6:30 ET Hornets (+) over Pacers- The Hornets have lost five straight after blowing an 11-point fourth quarter lead against Washington Sunday while Indiana posted a road win at Toronto. That was the Pacers 21 win on the road (21-15) whereas they have won just 13 of 36 at home with an ATS record of 13-23 as hosts. That to me is important as the Hornets are 21-7-1 ATS on the road against teams with losing home records. Losers of 15 of their last 21 games overall the Hornets have struggled since Gordon Hayward went down on April 2 and he is not expected to play tonight. The slack with him being sidelined is being picked up by Rookie-of-the-Year candidate La Melo Ball (believe it or not). Take CHARLOTTE! |
05-16-21 | Nuggets v. Blazers -10.5 | Top | 116-132 | Win | 100 | 13 h 33 m | Show |
Denver at Portland 9:00 ET Trailblazers (-) over Nuggets- Portland 'just' needs to win here or see a loss by the Lakers to clinch a coveted top-six position for the playoffs. The Blazers own the tie-breaker edge with L.A. and will be focused for this encounter as they rebound from a 118-117 loss at Phoenix. Denver has won both meetings this season and yet now Portland opened as an 8.5-point favorite and they have not been favored by more than 3.5-points in the last 10 meetings. Take the TRAILBLAZERS! |
05-15-21 | Heat -120 v. Bucks | Top | 108-122 | Loss | -120 | 11 h 56 m | Show |
Miami at Milwaukee 8:00 ET Heat (+) over Bucks- This may very well be a preview of the No. 3 and No. 6 seeds playing each other once the playoffs start. Milwaukee has the highest scoring offense in the league, yes even higher than Brooklyn scoring 120.2 ppg. But, Miami is built on defense and a disciplined offense that will actually draw more fouls and win this one at the free throw line. The Heat are just a tougher team with more grit than the Bucks and are 4-1 ATS in their last five trips to the 'Brew City.' Take MIAMI! |
05-14-21 | Pelicans +2 v. Warriors | Top | 122-125 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 37 m | Show |
New Orleans at Golden State 9:30 ET Pelicans (+) over Warriors- Really now, the Steph Curry led Warriors opened less than a 3-point favorite at home against the Williamson-less Pelicans. This price stands out because of how 'hot' Golden State is having won four straight and six of their last seven games overall while New Orleans has dropped their last two without their 'big stud' but they are still 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall. They are 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 5-1 ATS after a SU loss. But, the main factor is that this game means nothing to the Warriors their final game Sunday against Memphis will determine their seeding. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
05-13-21 | Nuggets v. Wolves +6 | Top | 114-103 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 28 m | Show |
Denver at Minnesota 8:00 ET T'wolves (+) over Nuggets- Denver has been winning and winning without leading scorer Jamal Murray and are seeded fourth one-game behind the Clippers. Minnesota has won back-to-back games and six of the last nine and are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings with Denver. The Nuggets are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games and 2-6 ATS against teams with losing records. The timberwolves are playing their best ball of the season (now that's it's ending) and are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. Take MINNESOTA! |
05-12-21 | Blazers +2.5 v. Jazz | Top | 105-98 | Win | 100 | 12 h 18 m | Show |
Portland at Utah 9:30 ET Trailblazers (+) over Jazz- Utah still have a chance for the No. 1 spot in the West with a two-game lead in the loss column over Phoenix with three games remaining. Portland is seeded No. 7 but with wins in 2-of-their-3 final games will move them into the sixth seed. The Blazers have won four straight and eight of nine but have lost both meetings with the Jazz by an average of 19.5 points and are 5-1 ATS in their lat six road games. Utah has been great at home going 31-4 SU and 23-12 ATS but fall short here. Take PORTLAND! |
05-11-21 | Mavs v. Grizzlies +1.5 | Top | 104-133 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show |
Dallas at Memphis 8:00 ET Grizzlies (+) over Mavericks- Dallas is currently the no. 5 seed in the West and are on a 4-game in streak and have won 10 of their last 12. This has given them a chance to clinch a spot in the top-6 with a combination of two wins or losses by the Lakers. Memphis is seeded ninth and have at least clinched a spot for the 'play-ins' and are playing tough as underdogs going 8-1 ATS in that role the nine times. The Grizzlies are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 home games and get the cash here. Take MEMPHIS! |
05-10-21 | Wizards v. Hawks -7.5 | Top | 124-125 | Loss | -105 | 2 h 29 m | Show |
Washington at Atlanta 7:03 ET Hawks (-) over Wizards- 'Outrageous!' That's right this 'line' is OUTRAGEOUS! Here is Washington, on a two-game winning streak and one of the hottest teams in the NBA since the All-Star game an 8-point underdog at Atlanta. The Wizards are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall and are 6-1 ATS as road underdogs after a win over Indiana while the Hawks are off a loss to the Pacers. Atlanta is 21-7 ATS in their last 28 home games and 13-4 Ats as favorites! Take ATLANTA! |
05-09-21 | Heat +1.5 v. Celtics | Top | 130-124 | Win | 100 | 4 h 21 m | Show |
Miami at Boston 1:00 ET Heat (+) over Celtics- There is no doubt how much stronger the Heat are with Jimmy Butler in the lineup as with him back they have won their last 4-of-5 and eight of 11 while Boston has lost six of their past 10 games. This is a rematch of the 2020 Eastern Conference Finals when Miami got the best of the Celtics in six games. They have met once this season with Boston winning at Miami 107-105 and this time it's the Heats turn. Miami is 7-2 ATS in their last nine games in Boston while the Celtics are 2-5-1 ATS as home favorites. Take MIAMI! |
05-08-21 | Spurs +6.5 v. Blazers | Top | 102-124 | Loss | -107 | 12 h 5 m | Show |
San Antonio at Portland 10:00 ET Spurs (+) over Trailblazers- The Spurs just broke a 5-game losing streak with a 113-104 win at Sacramento last night and play in Portland against the hot Blazers who have won six of their last seven games. In a turn-around from the past two seasons San Antonio has played better on the road going 22-10-1 ATS with 19 outright wins. Despite the losing record the Spurs are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games overall showing great effort and they are 13-4-1 ATS in their last 18 road games. Trouble here are as Portland is 0-5 ATS in their last five as home favorites and 8-20-2 ATS against teams with winning road records. Take the SPURS! |
05-07-21 | Celtics v. Bulls +4.5 | Top | 99-121 | Win | 100 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
Boston at Chicago 7:30 ET Bulls (+) over Celtics- For the first time in over a year there will be fans inside the Unites Center in Chicago as the Bulls host the Boston Celtics. Boston is struggling to stay in the top-6 for the NBA playoffs and are 3-4 SU in their last seven games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven overall. Chicago is off a 120-99 Megabucks win last night at Charlotte and are 13-6 ATS at home against teams with losing road records. Boston is 6-14 ATS in their last 20 following an ATS win and are 0-4 ATS after a SU win. Take CHICAGO! |
05-06-21 | Bulls -3.5 v. Hornets | Top | 120-99 | Win | 100 | 9 h 39 m | Show |
Chicago at Charlotte 7:00 ET Bulls (-) over Hornets- Okay, let me get this straight the Chicago Bulls are 26-39 on the season and the home Hornets are 32-33 and fighting for a playoff seed. Chicago has dropped their last four while and 11 of 15 and yet the odds-maker has deemed they the favorite on the road here and they are 5-2 ATS as road favorites. Charlotte is 1-4 ATS in their last five games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games as underdogs. Bulls are 1-5 ATS in their last six trips at Charlotte and are the dog herfe. This one smells. Take CHICAGO! |
05-05-21 | Suns v. Hawks +1.5 | Top | 103-135 | Win | 100 | 10 h 51 m | Show |
Phoenix at Atlanta 8:00 ET Hawks (+) over Suns- How is this for an improbable overtime win and cover by the Suns last night in Cleveland. As a 12.5-point favorite Phoenix was forced to go overtime against the lowly Cavaliers and then went on a 15-0 run in OT to both win and cover 134-118 and that win pushed them into a tie for the top spot in the West with Utah. Atlanta is getting healthier with Bogdan Bogdanovic returning to action and they have won their last two. I don't see how the Suns will rise here after last night overtime game as they are 2-8 ATS after a SU win and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six as road favorites. Take ATLANTA! |
05-04-21 | Warriors v. Pelicans -129 | Top | 103-108 | Win | 100 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
Golden State at New Orleans 8:00 ET Pelicans over Warriors- Golden State has pushed the Pelicans virtually out of the NBA playoff chase as they now trail San Antonio by 3.5-games with seven games remaining. This game take even more importance as New Orleans embarks on a five-game road trip after this and finished the season with their final home game. Curry has been at his best but the Warriors are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games as underdogs. New Orleans is 5-1 ATS after a loss of 10-points or more but are 0-4 ATS in their last four games as home favorites. They streak ends tonight. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
05-03-21 | Blazers v. Hawks -2.5 | Top | 114-123 | Win | 100 | 3 h 19 m | Show |
Portland at Atlanta 8:00 ET Hawks over Trailblazers- Portland has been one of the NBA's best when on the road and are 20-12 both SU and ATS and currently 4-0 on their six-game road trip coming off a 119-109 win at Boston Sunday. Atlanta just ended a 3-game losing streak with a win over Chicago Saturday and clinched them at least the 10th seed while they currently sit fifth. Trae Young is back for Atlanta after missing four games and Kevin Hunter returned yesterday with Bogan Bogdanovic returning tonight. The hawks fly high tonight...take ATLANTA! |
05-02-21 | Nets +2 v. Bucks | Top | 114-117 | Loss | -104 | 5 h 24 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Milwaukee 3:30 ET Nets over Bucks- A pair of the NBA's top contenders face-off with clubs that look like that have already been to battle. Brooklyn was without Kevin Durant, Bruce Brown, Nic Clayton and of course James Harden while the Bucks have been without Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Nets are no longer the league top scoring team with harden out for the past month as the Bucks now have that honor averaging 119.3 PPG. Brooklyn is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in Milwaukee and the Bucks are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games as home favorites. Take BROOKLYN! |
05-01-21 | Nuggets v. Clippers -4.5 | Top | 110-104 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 29 m | Show |
Denver at LA Clippers 10:00 ET Clippers (-) over Nuggets- These two are about as close as you can get as they both have 21 losses with the Clippers having 43 wins and Denver 42. With nine games to go both clubs realize this is just one-game and they both will be without the leading scorers. Jamal Murray is out for the Nuggets and Kawhi Leonard has missed the last three weeks. Denver is 8-1 without Murray and have won four straight and are meeting the Clippers who have lost their last two on the road and return home to host a conference rival and the Clippers are 6-1 ATS in last seven as home favorites. Take LOS ANGELES |
04-30-21 | Blazers -114 v. Nets | Top | 128-109 | Win | 100 | 10 h 5 m | Show |
Portland at Brooklyn 8:00 ET Trailblazers over Nets- this situation in Brooklyn has become beyond laughable with Kyrie Irving having to research medical book to find a reason to miss another day's work, With Harden sidelined and Durant day-to-day or minute-to-minute Blake Griffin has picked up some of the slack on a team of slackers. Portland trails Dallas by one-game for the all important sixth seed and will be playing at full strength. This one belongs to the Trailblazers. Take PORTLAND! |
04-27-21 | Mavs +2.5 v. Warriors | Top | 133-103 | Win | 100 | 11 h 1 m | Show |
Dallas at Golden State 9:30 ET Mavericks (+) over Warriors- When these two clubs matchup points abound, in their last four meetings they have averaged 137 for the winner and 121 for the loser with Dallas winning 3-of-4. Golden State has won their last four at home but has been blown-out by the Mavericks twice 147-116 and 141-121 at home. The Mavs are 5-2 on the road against team with winning home records and they are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings. Take DALLAS! |
04-26-21 | Clippers v. Pelicans +2 | Top | 103-120 | Win | 100 | 11 h 42 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at New Orleans 8:00 ET Pelicans (+) over Clippers- Despite injuries the Clippers keep rolling and have won four straight and 11 of their last 12 games while the Pelicans have dropped 5-of-6 and with 12 games left to play. New Orleans is off tough 2-point loss to the Spurs but have had their highest scoring total of the season against the Clips scoring 135 in a victory over LA in March. For whatever reason the Pelicans give the Clippers fits as they are 21-7 ATS in the last 28 meetings. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
04-25-21 | Grizzlies +4.5 v. Blazers | Top | 120-113 | Win | 100 | 7 h 2 m | Show |
Memphis at Portland 4:00 ET Grizzlies (+) over Trailblazers- This is 2nd of back-to-back meetings as the Grizzlies posted a 130-128 win over the Blazers on Friday winning a Power Play. Memphis is now 7-0 ATS in their last seven games as underdogs and Portland is 0-4 ATS in their last four games as favorites. The Griz are also 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games and 35-17 ATS overall in their last 52 games while Portland is 2-7 ATS against teams with winning records. Take MEMPHIS! |
04-24-21 | Spurs +3 v. Pelicans | Top | 110-108 | Win | 100 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
San Antonio at New Orleans 8:00 ET Spurs (+) over Pelicans- San Antonio has been a bit of a mystery this season as they are 13-19 SU at home and 16-10 SU and 18-8 ATS which is total turn-around from last season. The Spurs holds a 3.5-game lead over the Pelicans and this game will be the tie-breaker if it comes down to that at season's end. New Orleans I off their biggest margin of victory this season defeating Orlando 135-100 on Thursday and I expect a drop off in performance here. San Antonio is 5-1 ATS in their last six road games while New Orleans is 4-9 ATS at home against teams with winning records. Take SAN ANTONIO! |
04-23-21 | Cavs +2 v. Hornets | Top | 102-108 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 45 m | Show |
Cleveland at Charlotte 8:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Hornets- Although Charlotte has a better record by 7-games than the Cavaliers they are a virtual pick-em at home as they have lost six of their last seven games and are off a beatdown at Chicago. Cleveland has won the previous two meetings this season and are 7-2 ATS in their last 10 games against teams with losing SU records. Surprisingly enough the Cavaliers are 14-6-1 ATS in the last 21 meetings and 6-1 ATS at Charlotte. Take CLEVELAND! |
04-22-21 | Suns -5.5 v. Celtics | Top | 86-99 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 54 m | Show |
Phoenix at Boston 7:00 ET Suns (-) over Celtics- These 'prices' on NBA games have had so many anomalies because of the virus and this is one of them. Phoenix is vastly improved this year but so much so that they are this strong a favorite non the road against the Eastern Conference leader. The Suns have won 13-of-15 including an outright win over the 76ers last night and are 10-4 ATS playing with no rest. The Celtics are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five home games and are only 5-17 ATS in the last 22 meetings including 0-4 ATS at home. Take PHOENIX! |
04-21-21 | Warriors v. Wizards +2.5 | Top | 114-118 | Win | 100 | 10 h 21 m | Show |
Golden State at Washington 7:00 ET Wizards over Warriors- The NBA's two top scorers will face off in Washington where Bradley Beal will try and recapture the top scoring spot from a red-hot Stephen Curry who scorched the 76ers with 49-points and has shot 55% from 3-point range while leading the Warriors to wins in 3-of-4. But, the Wizards have won five in-a-row and 7-of-8 including a 110-107 win at Golden State while the Warriors are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven meetings in Washington. Take the WIZARDS! |
04-21-21 | Suns -114 v. 76ers | Top | 116-113 | Win | 100 | 10 h 18 m | Show |
Phoenix at Philadelphia 7:00 ET Suns over 76ers- Phoenix is the most improved team in the league (yes even more so than the Knicks) so much so that they are favored on the road against the Eastern Conference leader. Philadelphia is always a question mark when it comes to the line on the game because players claim injuries so often. Of course Embiid and Simmons are the most important factors but when you add Tobias Harris to the list their depth falls fast. The Suns are an amazing 36-21 ATS on the season and are 10-2 ATS on the road against teams with winning records. Take PHOENIX! |
04-20-21 | Nets v. Pelicans -2.5 | Top | 134-129 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 14 m | Show |
Brooklyn at New Orleans 7:30 ET Pelicans over Nets- Bot these clubs blew late leads in their last contests one good Nets blowing to Miami and one bad Pelicans falling in OT at New York. So now, New Orleans is the host and somehow become the favorite. Brooklyn is 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as road underdogs and the Pelicans are just 6-13 ATS as home favorites. Tell me how this makes any sense as the Nets are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings. As a matter of fact this is now my 'Don't Make Sense' game of the day. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
04-18-21 | Nets v. Heat +4 | Top | 107-109 | Win | 100 | 5 h 11 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Miami 3:30 ET Heat (+) over Nets- Jimmy Butler is pissed! Miami dropped their third straight game Friday night to lowly Minnesota and he says that his teammates 'take too much for granted.' Well, they would be able to take anything for granted today as the Nets come to South Beach. The Heat after winning the East last season find themselves currently a seventh seed as injuries and virus protocols have hindered their season. Brooklyn must be a Saturday night 'party' team as thy are 1-7 ATS on Sunday's and 4-10 in their last 14 games as favorites. Take MIAMI! |
04-17-21 | Cavs +2 v. Bulls | Top | 96-106 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 30 m | Show |
Cleveland at Chicago 8:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Bulls- Chicago is reeling having lost five straight and 11 of 14 and will be without Zach LaVine who is in the NBA health and safety protocol. Cleveland as expected hasn't seem much better losing 3-of-4 and eight of 11 and will be missing two back court players as well. Good news (maybe) for Cleveland is that Kevin Love has returned to action and should help (?). Although the Cavs are just 6-14 ATS in the last 20 meetings they are 4-1 ATS in Chicago. Take CLEVELAND! |
04-16-21 | Blazers v. Spurs +2.5 | Top | 107-106 | Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show |
Portland at San Antonio 8:30 ET Spurs (+) over Trailblazers- Portland who was playing well when CJ McCollum returned to action are struggling now and have lost four of five and are 2-8 SU since the ALL-Star break. The Spurs are off a loss at Toronto where the short-handed Raptors had four players missing due to injuries. Despite going 1-4 ATS in their last five home games the Spurs coach Gregg Popovich insists that they will rebound better after getting killed on the board by Toronto. If 'Pop' sez it it must be true. Take SAN ANTONIO! |
04-14-21 | Mavs v. Grizzlies +2 | Top | 114-113 | Win | 100 | 13 h 60 m | Show |
Dallas at Memphis 9:30 ET Grizzlies (+) over Mavericks- The Mavericks players are so concerned with the playoff format so much that they would rather bitch and complain then actually play basketball. So, it looks like Dallas has a mind set that they will finish 7, 8, 9 or 10th will have to deal with the silly playoff scheduling. Memphis has struggled against Dallas at home as they are just 1-5 ATS hosting the Mavs but are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five games as underdogs. Take MEMPHIS! |
04-13-21 | Celtics +1.5 v. Blazers | Top | 116-115 | Win | 100 | 14 h 28 m | Show |
Boston at Portland 10:00 ET Celtics (+) over Trailblazers- I don't know what it is with the Trailblazers but they opening a dog at home against Miami and were never in it as the Heat led from start to finish. Now, Portland comes up a virtual pick'em against a Boston team that is 11-6 on the road while the 31-22 Blazers are 16-11 at home. What makes this even more intriguing is that Portland is 11-4 ATS at home against teams with losing road records. One thing though, the Celtics are 14-5 ATS in the last 19 meetIngs. Take BOSTON! |
04-12-21 | Kings +2.5 v. Pelicans | Top | 110-117 | Loss | -103 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
Sacramento at New Orleans 9:00 ET Kings (+) over Pelicans- This looks like a very short line to me as New Orleans who has a 2-game lead over the Kings for the final playoff spot and have won their last two are less than a long shot favorite. Sacramento has dropped six straight and are 8-21 ATS after a SU loss and yet this price is so low. But, the Pelicans are 5-12 ATS as home favorites and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall. Take SACRAMENTO! |
04-11-21 | Heat +1 v. Blazers | Top | 107-98 | Win | 100 | 12 h 57 m | Show |
Miami at Portland 10:00 ET Heat over Trailblazers- Oh how the NBA line-makers taught and tease us. Here is Portland 10-games over .500 and off a 118-103 win over the Pistons and they open a dog at home against Miami who is barely over .500 and will be without guard Victor Oladipo. The Trailblazers on the other hand now with the return of CJ McCollum have one of the best guard tandems in the NBA. Miami who is off a narrow win over the Lakers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games and the Blazers are 0-5 ATS in their last five against teams with winning records. Take MIAMI! |
04-10-21 | Raptors -2.5 v. Cavs | Top | 135-115 | Win | 100 | 10 h 39 m | Show |
Toronto at Cleveland 7:30 ET Raptors (-) over Cavaliers- These two are practically mirror images of each other although it may not seem that way. Toronto is 20-32 SU and 21-31 ATS on the season and the Cavaliers are 19-32 SU and 21-30 ATS. Cleveland returns home after winning their last two on the road by 24 and 27 points and they are an underdog to the reeling Raptors who have lost their last two and 6-of-8. What makes this 'line' even more questionable is that Toronto is just 3-13 ATS in their last 16 meetings in Cleveland. This one stinks...take the RAPTORS! |
04-09-21 | Bulls +2 v. Hawks | Top | 108-120 | Loss | -108 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
Chicago at Atlanta 8:10 ET Bulls (+) over Hawks- Chicago has matched their season high winning streak with three straight victories and bring it to Atlanta where the Hawks just had a 4-game winning streak of their own ended by (Megabucks winner) Memphis. Bulls look to avenge a 124-104 loss in the first meeting back in late December and are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings including 5-0 ATS in the last five in Atlanta. Chicago is 19-7 ATS in their last 26 road games including 11-4 ATS as road dogs. Take CHICAGO! |
04-07-21 | Grizzlies +3 v. Hawks | Top | 131-113 | Win | 100 | 9 h 7 m | Show |
Memphis at Atlanta 8:00 ET Grizzlies (+) over Hawks- This could be a good one as these two clubs are pretty evenly matched. Atlanta has won 13 of their last 17 and are coming off a record setting performance against New Orleans where they made 11 straight 3-point shots. Memphis has won their last three and are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games overall. Although the Hawks are flying high and are 7-0 ATS in their last seven home games the line is short and they are just 2-5 ATS at home against a team with winning road record. Take MEMPHIS! |
04-05-21 | Baylor v. Gonzaga -4.5 | Top | 86-70 | Loss | -105 | 27 h 58 m | Show |
Baylor vs. Gonzaga 9:20 ET Bulldogs (-) over Bears- This is the game we have all been waiting for (at least I have), especially since the early game scheduled between these two was canceled. Except for a short spur when Michigan was showing their best Baylor and Gonzaga have been the two best teams in the nation. We finally broke through with a win against the Bulldogs as they were lucky to escape with an overtime win against a 'game' UCLA team. Baylor had no such issues with Houston and manhandled them from start to finish! The Zags have won all five previous meetings with the dog Houston going 4-1 ATS. Not to worry here. The Bulldogs bite...take GONZAGA! |

04-05-21 | Pistons -3 v. Thunder | Top | 132-108 | Win | 100 | 10 h 33 m | Show |
Detroit at Oklahoma City 7:00 ET Pistons (-) over Thunder- This 'line' just tells us how bad OKC actually is, as they are home underdogs to the Pistons. Detroit is 5-20 SU on the road while the Thunder have a better home record at 9-15. Both of these dregs are coming off embarrassing losses as Oklahoma City was pasted by Portland 133-85 (worst loss in OKC history) while Detroit lost by 44 points to the NY Knicks which was their worst loss in 27 years. Now, the Pistons come up the favorite on the road against a team that they have lost five straight games to as they haven't beaten the Thunder in OKC since November 2017. Detroit is 21-7 ATS after an ATS loss and are 15-7 ATS as road favorites. Take DETROIT! |
04-04-21 | Warriors -120 v. Hawks | Top | 111-117 | Loss | -120 | 10 h 38 m | Show |
Golden State at Atlanta 7:30 ET Warriors over Hawks- There is something way off here! Let's check these clubs most recent results. Atlanta has won their last two on the road defeating San Antonio and New Orleans as a favorite while the Warriors have dropped their last two and six of seven including a 53-point loss at Toronto (the worst defeat in franchise history). Now, somehow Golden State although with a lesser record and playing their worst ball of the year are favored on the road. It just doesn't seem right to me. The Warriors as bad as they are 5-1 ATS in their last six games as favorites while (get this) the Hawks are 5-12 ATS at home after a seven day or more road trip. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
04-03-21 | Bucks v. Kings +6.5 | Top | 129-128 | Win | 100 | 12 h 10 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Sacramento 10:00 ET Kings (+) over Bucks- Both these clubs had extreme decisions yesterday as the Bucks crushed the Trailblazers at Portland 127-109 while Sacramento was getting pasted by the LA Lakers 115-94 ending a five-game home winning streak. Despite leading the league in scoring Milwaukee is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games and they are 2-6 ATS as road favorites. The Kings are much improved and get the money here. Take SACRAMENTO! |
04-03-21 | Houston +5 v. Baylor | Top | 59-78 | Loss | -106 | 23 h 11 m | Show |
Houston vs Baylor 5:15 ET Cougars (+) over Bears- Baylor has been the No. 2 team in the nation the entire season and with a cancelled game against Gonzaga they got to 18-0 before a 23-day break because of COVID protocols. Once returning to action the Bears didn't seem to be the same but the 'Big Dance' has brought out the best in them as they have reeled off four straight wins and eight in their last nine games. Houston meanwhile has been lurking around the entire season and have won their last 11 and bring the nation's No. 2 scoring defense into this fray holding opponents to 57.6 PPG. Baylor of course has the No. 3 offense averaging 85.3 PPG while shooting 43% from 3-point range. But, the Cougars are No. 1 in FG defense allowing just 37% from the floor. Take HOUSTON! |
04-02-21 | Warriors +1.5 v. Raptors | Top | 77-130 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 6 m | Show |
Golden State at Toronto 7:00 ET Warriors (+) over Raptors- Golden State has lost 5-of-6 but is encouraged with the return of Stephen Curry who shooting and scoring at will. Toronto during March was even worst winning just once in 14 games and are 0-6 ATS in their last six games as favorites. The Warriors who have struggles of their own are just 1-6 ATS as road underdogs and 2-7 ATS in their last nine road games overall. But, with Green healthy and Curry scoring whenever he wants the Warriors are the side. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
04-01-21 | Warriors +3 v. Heat | Top | 109-116 | Loss | -113 | 10 h 27 m | Show |
Golden State at Miami 8:00 ET Warriors (+) over Heat- Both these clubs are flirting around the .500 mark as the Heat have won their last two climbing to the breakeven mark while won for the first time in five games last time out and are one-game under. With Stephen Curry back in the lineup the Warriors are a different club as are the Heat when Jimmy Butler plays and he will play tonight and so will Victor Oladipo who will make his first heat appearance. This line looks very short to me which says Miami will continue to struggle. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
03-31-21 | Blazers v. Pistons +7.5 | Top | 124-101 | Loss | -108 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
Portland at Detroit 7:00 ET Pistons (+) over Trailblazers- One of the problems with this Blazers team is their incentive to play hard on a consistent basis. In their last outing against Toronto they (Portland) surrendered 74 first-half points and then held the Raptors to 10 third quarter points. See, boys you can do it, if you try, but...they don't always try so much. Portland is 7-15 ATS in their last 22 road games against teams with losing records and are 1-7-1 ATS in the last nine meetings including 0-4 ATS in Detroit. Pistons playing better of late going 5-2 ATS and 5-2 ATS as underdogs. Take DETROIT! |
03-30-21 | 76ers +5 v. Nuggets | Top | 95-104 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 8 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Denver 9:00 ET 76ers (+) over Nuggets- With or without Joel Embiid the 76ers have gone from one of the worst road teams in the NBA both SU and ATS to a team that is now formidable on the road. Philadelphia is 13-10 SU aways from 'Liberty City' and is 3-1 on their current trip with the loss coming at the Clippers Saturday night' and are 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. Denver is just 6-15-1 ATS following a win of 10-points or more but the kicker is that the Sixers are 15-4-2 ATS in the last 21 meetings and 10-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Denver. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
03-29-21 | Arkansas v. Baylor -7.5 | Top | 72-81 | Win | 100 | 10 h 53 m | Show |
Arkansas vs Baylor 10:00 ET Bears (-) over Razorbacks- Baylor has been ranked No. 2 or 3 the entire season despite losing 23 days of action because of virus issues and it has taken them four weeks since returning to play before they got their 'mojo' back. And they have it back now! The Bears are 9-3 ATS on neutral sites and 21-10 ATS against winning teams above 60%. Granted Arkansas is no push-over, as they are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games overall. This one is just about the Bears coming together at the right time. Take BAYLOR! |
03-29-21 | Pelicans +2.5 v. Celtics | Top | 115-109 | Win | 100 | 7 h 29 m | Show |
New Orleans at Boston 7:30 ET Pelicans (+) over Celtics- Boston returns to the TD Garden having won their last two on the road to rise to the .500 level after having lost five of six. New Orleans has won 3-of-4 and is 6-2 ATS if their last eight games overall. The Celtics start a seven-game home stand and this will be the first game with limited number of fans allowed to attend. Boston has been very inconsistent going 2-11 ATS after a SU win and are 0-6 ATS after a win of 10 points or more. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
03-28-21 | Hawks +4.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 102-126 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 1 m | Show |
Atlanta at Denver 9:00 ET Hawks (+) over Nuggets- Denver is one of the teams that was very active before the trade deadline and has a slew of players that are gone and three new ones to take their place. Gone are a pair of guards and a center and the additions are Aaron Gordon, Gary Clark from Orlando and center JaVale McGee from Cleveland. They may have gain something on the talent level but I don't see how they would all be able to mess together their first game out. Atlanta is 4-1 ATS their last five trios to Denver and are 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Hawks soar in 'Mile High City'...taker ATLANTA |
03-28-21 | Florida State +2 v. Michigan | Top | 58-76 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 38 m | Show |
Florida State vs Michigan 5:00 ET Seminoles (+) over Wolverines- This one could end up the best game of the day as No. 1 seed Michigan hosts No. 4 Florida State. Michigan who will be without their best shooting guard Isaiah Livers (43.1% from 3-point range) but finished top rated status with FG (48.5%), free throw (78%) and 3-points (38.5%). Florida State prides itself on their defense holding opponents to 39.3% FG on the season and seem to play their best in this position. Florida State is not only 3-1-1 ATS in their last five as NCAA Tourney underdogs they are 21-7-1 ATS as neutral site underdogs. Tale the SEMINOLES! |
03-27-21 | Mavs v. Pelicans +1 | Top | 103-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 9 m | Show |
Dallas at New Orleans 9:00 ET Pelicans (-) over Mavericks- It looks to me like the Mavericks are pulling up lame when they play weaker clubs as they are 7-19 ATS against teams with losing records and they are 1-5 ATS playing with no rest. New Orleans who is vastly improved from the start of the season is 10-4 ATS as home underdogs and 5-2 ATS against teams with winning records. Take the PELICANS! |
03-27-21 | Mississippi State v. Louisiana Tech +1.5 | Top | 84-62 | Loss | -104 | 17 h 34 m | Show |
Mississippi State vs Louisiana Tech 3:00 ET LT Bulldogs (+) over MS Bulldogs- A pair of No. 4 seeds meet but the only reason MSU got anything that high is because of the SEC strength of schedule, but they aren't all that good. LT is 23-7 and isn't worried about the SEC as they opened the tournament with a 70-61 won over Mississippi. Tech is 15-3 in their last 18 contests. Imposter MSU is 2-9 ATS after SU win while LT is 11-2 ATS against teams with winning records. Take LOUISIANA TECH! |
03-27-21 | Oregon State v. Loyola-Chicago -6.5 | Top | 65-58 | Loss | -113 | 22 h 4 m | Show |
Oregon State vs Loyola-Chicago 2:40 ET Ramblers (-) over Beavers- Oregon State was picked to finish 12th in the Pac-12 and are a 12-seed here against No. 8 Loyola-Chicago and are one of the biggest surprises of all Tournament teams (except ORU). The Beavers are 20-9-1 ATS on the season and 19-6 ATS in their last 25 although they rank 213th on offense. I mention that because the Ramblers the nation's leader in defensive points allowed at only 55.7 PPG and I still believe in defense. Sister Jean remember the only meeting between these two on Dec. 31, 1927 a 30-19 Loyola victory. They do it again...LOYOLA-CHICAGO! |
03-25-21 | Clippers v. Spurs +6.5 | Top | 98-85 | Loss | -101 | 10 h 14 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at San Antonio 8:00 ET Spurs (+) over Clippers- Los Angeles has won three straight including a 134-101 rout of the Spurs last night when they took over early and just ran the Spurs out of the arena. There is good news and bad news for the home team here as the Clippers are just 2-6 ATS after a SU win but they are also 7-0 playing with no rest. There are good signs around San Antonio as they are 6-2 ATS after a double-digit loss at home and they are 19-9 ATS in their last 28 games as underdogs. Take SAN ANTONIO! |
03-25-21 | NC State v. Colorado State +2 | Top | 61-65 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show |
N.C. State vs Colorado State 7:00 ET Rams (+) over Wolfpack- The Rams have had a decent season winning 19 of 25 games playing a schedule that doesn't compare with the riggers that NC State must go through. The Wolfpack are an unimpressive 14-10 winning six of their last seven to climb above .500. Although the Pack played a harder schedule you have to win more of those games against tougher competition. NC State is just 1-6 ATS in their last seven games as favorites and not for nothin the Rams are 26-9 on Thursdays. Take COLORADO STATE |
03-24-21 | Nets v. Jazz -9.5 | Top | 88-118 | Win | 100 | 11 h 27 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Utah 8:30 ET Jazz (-) over Nets- Now, this is the most ridiculous line I have seen this season! Let me check the 'number' surrounding this one. Brooklyn last I checked is one of the 'hottest' teams in the NBA winning 8-of-9 and is off another short-handed (Irving only plays after a winning day at the track...he's been a no-show of late) win last night at Portland and trail only Philadelphia by 1-game in the East. Utah who had the most incredible run going 21-2 ATS have come back to the pack so to speak. With the streak over the Jazz were 1-6 ATS before a 120-95 win over Chicago on Monday. Add that the Nets are 9-1 ATS Last-10 on the road and 6-1 ATS as underdogs makes this line even more absurd. But the Jazz are 13-3 ATS as home favorites last 16 and are 8-3 ATS hosting Brooklyn. Take UTAH! |
03-23-21 | Suns v. Heat +2 | Top | 110-100 | Loss | -107 | 8 h 49 m | Show |
Phoenix at Miami 7:30 ET Heat (+) over Suns- These two clubs are doing what they both have been up to the entire season in that the Suns continue to rise and are both 28-13 SU and ATS and have won 8-of-their-last-10 while the inconsistent Heat have cooled down losing their last three. Miami's biggest problem is their lack of 3-point shooting which is the best asset for Phoenix and both play tough defense. Miami is a team of character and after three straight losses will rally against a team they have dominated through the years. The Heat are 6-2 ATS in the last eight games versus the Suns as hosts and 21-7 ATS in the last 28 meetings overall. Take MIAMI! |
03-22-21 | Hawks +6.5 v. Clippers | Top | 110-119 | Loss | -108 | 10 h 38 m | Show |
Atlanta at L.A. Clippers 10:00 ET Hawks (+) over Clippers- The Hawks are flying high having won their last eight including a Saturday after win at Los Angeles over the Lakers 99-94 and are looking for a sweep at Staples Arena. Nate McMillan is now 8-0 since taking over the coaching and started stressing defense. Atlanta is 5-2 ATS their last seven trips against the Clippers who are 0-6 ATS after a SU win.Los Angeles likely will be playing without starters Patrick Beverley and Serge Ibaka. Beverley has missed the last four games with right knee soreness, while Ibaka has missed the last three games due to lower back tightness. Take the HAWKS! |
03-22-21 | USC -120 v. Kansas | Top | 85-51 | Win | 100 | 12 h 42 m | Show |
USC vs Kansas 9:40 ET Trojans (+) over Jayhawks- My first impression here is to ask why the sixth seed USC is favored over the third seed Kansas? The Jayhawks were booted out of the Big-12 Tournament as COVID protocols had them sidelined after a win over Oklahoma. USC meanwhile recovered from a 72-70 Pac-12 loss to Colorado before eliminating Drake last time out. The Trojans are 17-8 ATS in their last 25 games at neutral sites and the Jayhawks are 0-4 ATS in neutral sites when underdogs. Take SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! |
03-21-21 | Pelicans +5.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 113-108 | Win | 100 | 6 h 47 m | Show |
New Orleans at Denver 3:00 ET Pelicans (+) over Nuggets- Denver posted an overtime win last night over Chicago winning their third straight and their eighth win in nine tries. New Orleans just dropped a pair of games at Portland the first of which after blowing a 17-point fourth quarter lead. The Pelicans are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games as underdogs and are 6-1 ATS in their last seven meetings against the Nuggets. Denver is just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as favorites. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
03-20-21 | Hawks +4 v. Lakers | Top | 99-94 | Win | 100 | 6 h 23 m | Show |
Atlanta at L.A. Lakers 3:30 ET Hawks (+) over Lakers- Both clubs have regained their winning ways as the Hawks fly into LA on a seven-game win streak and the Lakers after a short lull have won their last four. Los Angeles is of course doing it without Anthony Davis who has missed the last 13 games and the Lakers are 11-7 SU overall in his absence. Also sidelined is Marc Gasol and we know Lebron is a beast but he needs more help. This one should go down to the final buzzer. Take ATLANTA |
03-19-21 | Jazz v. Raptors +5 | Top | 115-112 | Win | 100 | 8 h 5 m | Show |
Utah at Toronto 8:00 ET Raptors (+) over Jazz- Backers have going from 'playing' the Jazz to singing the 'Blues' as Utah has lost 5-of-their-last-6 ATS and are falling back to the pack as far a 'covering' is concerned. The Jazz after a 22-2 SU run have lost five of their last eight games including a 131-122 loss to Washington last night. The Jazz are now 8-17-2 ATS after a SU loss. Toronto has dropped their last six games and 8-of-9 but are seeing some of their injured return to the lineup as Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siaham are back in play. The Raptors are 6-1 ATS over the Jazz as hosts and 14-3 ATS in the last 17 meetings overall. Take TORONTO! |
03-19-21 | Wisconsin +1.5 v. North Carolina | Top | 85-62 | Win | 100 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
Wisconsin vs North Carolina 7:10 ET Badgers (+) over Tar Heels- Both of these clubs have been nothing if not underwhelming and their respective seeding with North Carolina No. 8 and Wisconsin No. 9 and each with double-digit losses on the season. This is the third NCAA Tournament meeting between these two but the others were deeper into the tourney meeting in 2005 in the Elite Eight with the Tar Heels winning and 2016 Sweet-16 win for the Badgers. Wisconsin played on this floor in Mackey Area losing to Purdue on March 2. The varmints are 14-6-2 ATS in their 22 NCAA Tournament games and 9-4-3 ATS as underdogs at neutral sites. Tar Heels are just 1-4 ATS in their last five tournament games. Take WISCONSIN! |
