North Carolina is coming off a 60-56 win over Virginia Tech, while Notre Dame fell to Pittsburgh in its last game, 85-81. The Irish get this game just two days removed from a disappointing overtime loss against rival Pitt on its home floor. The Irish are one of the more popular public plays, which usually affords us an opportunity to fade them at a reasonable number, as is the case here. The Irish could get run out of the gym against the Tar Heels in this one, arriving in bad form with wins in just three of their last eight games. The Tar Heels aren |

Toronto +2
The Toronto Raptors host the Golden State Warriors on Sunday afternoon. This is a terrible scheduling spot for Golden State. The Warriors began a six-game East Coast road trip on Monday and will be playing their fourth game of the week against Toronto. To make matters worse, the schedule makers haven't done the Warriors and favors with a 4 PM ET start time, which is essentially a 1:00 start for a West Coast team. Meanwhile, the Raptors haven't taken the court since Thursday and will be well rested for this contest. Toronto suffered a couple of scares on Thursday when Terrence Ross and Kyle Lowry both went down with ankle injuries, but both are expected to play on Sunday. The Raptors have allowed 119.3 points per game against the Warriors with Stephen Curry in the lineup, but this Raptors squad is different from that of years past. This is a team that prides itself on playing strong defense. Toronto, under the guidance of defensive head coach Dwayne Casey, allows just 97.1 point per game; well below the league average of 100.5 The Warriors are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a win of more than 10 points. The Raptors are 22-9-1 ATS in their last 32 games overall and 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games following a loss. Take Toronto. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Toronto Raptors +2 |

Minnesota -3.5
The Sacramento Kings host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. The Kings had been playing some solid basketball, but they've fallen off since. Center DeMarcus Cousins showed in the team's game against Houston that his mind is elsewhere now, and with the team travelling on the second night of a back-to-back to get to this one, it's going to be hard to expect an A-effort from the Kings. As for the Timberwolves. They've really found their game of late, winning four of their last five, including victories over Indiana and Phoenix, with their lone loss coming at Portland. Star forward Kevin Love in particular has stepped up his game. He's been on fired in the month of February, averaging 34.0 points with 14.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. The team can also be expected to continue their winning ways on the road as they've won two of three there, and the road team has won two of the last three in the series between these teams. The Timberwolves are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 road games against teams with a losing home record. Take Minnesota. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Minnesota Timberwolves -3.5 |

03-01-14 | Boston College v. Wake Forest -2 | 80-72 | Loss | -113 | 14 h 50 m | Show
Wake Forest -2
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons have been very good at home this year. Boston College has one signature win all season, and that was their amazing win at Syracuse. Other than that, Boston College has accomplished very little against any team with a pulse. Wake Forest and Boston College are fairly even teams in terms of talent, but I like the fact that Wake Forest works hard on the defensive end. This Boston College team gives the opposition an easy bucket just about every time down the floor. Their defensive numbers are just terrible this year. Wake Forest went through an ugly stretch recently where they looked bad, but that was against quality competition. They bounced back with a nice win at home against a pretty good Clemson team this week. Boston College has gone right back to playing bad basketball after beating Syracuse. A lot of people saw the Boston College win over Syracuse, and that has the perception of this team too high in my opinion. Wake Forest is a team on the rise and they are still a bit undervalued by the oddsmakers. Wake Forest should be favored by several points more than this. Take Wake Forest. Louisville -4.5
The 21st-ranked Memphis Tigers host the seventh-ranked Louisville Cardinals on Saturday afternoon. Memphis is coming off a 77-68 loss to Houston, while Louisville beat Temple their last time out, 88-66. The Cardinals have found another gear in the month of February, posting a 7-0 record, giving the team wins in 11 of its last 12 games. Louisville picked up its game right around this time last year, and history seems to be repeating itself once again this season. The Cardinals have been throttling opponents over the course of this streak, even when taking to the road, and that means big trouble for Memphis. Louisville has won its last seven games by an average of 21.9 points. Louisville will also be extra motivated to win this contest after falling to Memphis in the first meeting between the programs this season. The Cardinals are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, and the road team is 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven meetings between these teams. The Tigers are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The Portland State Vikings are certainly capable of beating North Dakota. In fact, Portland State did beat North Dakota 70-68 in their first meeting this year. North Dakota will be the home team here, but North Dakota has already lost several times on their home floor this season. North Dakota lost at home to Montana State, South Dakota State, and Weber State in the last couple months. This North Dakota State team has had a bunch of trouble staying consistent, even inside a game. North Dakota plays exceptional basketball for short stretches, but then goes through a long drought in the same game. Utah +2
The Utah Jazz host the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. Utah is coming off a 110-98 win over Boston, while Phoenix is coming off a 110-101 loss to Minnesota. The Phoenix Suns have been very impressive this season, picking up wins against some of the top teams in the Association, but the team has had some trouble with some of the lesser teams, especially when playing on the road where they are barely over .500. The Suns have already struggled with Utah this season, losing the most recent matchup between the teams in Phoenix, and winning the other meeting between the teams in Phoenix by just three points. As for the Jazz, they'll be in the lottery come June, but the team has some players looking to establish themselves going forward, and it's seen the team play a fair bit better in recent weeks, even picking up a win over Miami earlier in the month. The Jazz have won four of their last seven games and three of their last five home contests, with the trip out to Utah always posing a problem for visitors, and with Phoenix making the trip after a game in Minnesota on Tuesday, it should get to them as well. The Jazz are 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings between these teams. Take Utah. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Utah Jazz +2 |

The Purdue Boilermakers host the Michigan Wolverines on Wednesday night. Purdue is coming off a 76-57 loss to Nebraska, while Michigan beat Michigan State their last time out, 79-70. Michigan has alternated wins and losses over its last seven games, and the team faces a series letdown spot in this one, having played each of their last four games against ranked opponents, and coming off a game against instate rival Michigan State. The Wolverines also haven't fared all that well on the road this season, going 5-4 in true road contests this year, with three of those wins coming by five points or fewer. As for Purdue, they'll look to build on some solid numbers in the first meeting between these clubs this season, in which they kept to within single-digits in Ann Arbor, and were able to outrebound the Wolverines while forcing 16 turnovers. The Boilermakers may not have a shot at climbing to the top of the Big Ten standings, but they'd love to play spoiler against a conference rival in front of their home crowd, so expect an A-effort. The Boilermakers are 3-0-1 ATS in the last four meetings between these teams, and the underdog is 4-0-1 in the last five meetings. Take Purdue. The Broncos were up and down early in the year, but they have really come together of late. Ball State has nothing to play for here. Sacramento +4.5
The Sacramento Kings host the Houston Rockets on Tuesday. Sacramento is coming off a 109-95 win over Denver, while Houston beat Phoenix their last time out, 115-112. The standings tell us one story of what we can expect from this matchup on Tuesday, but a closer look tells an entirely different story. The Kings have been a very formidable opponent in recent outings, thanks to the emergence of stars Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins. Gay had also had Houston's number this season, scoring 26 points in a 106-91 win the last time the Rockets came to town, then scoring 25 points in the next meeting in Houston, a 110-106 win for the Kings. In addition to the great play the team has gotten from Gay and Cousins, Isaiah Thomas has stepped up for the Kings, scoring an average of 26.7 points and adding 8.3 assists over his last three games. As for Houston, this is a clear trap game for them with the Clippers on deck. That game will have a major bearing on the West standings, and better teams than the Rockets have fallen into that trap. Boston +3.5
The Utah Jazz host the Boston Celtics on Monday. Utah is coming off a 121-104 loss to Minnesota, while Boston dropped its last game to Sacramento, 105-98. The Celtics come to Utah mired in a difficult road stretch, having lost the first three games of a four-game road trip, but the team's prospects look bright on Monday. Boston's last road win over a Western Conference opponent came in Utah. In fact, the Celtics have won the last six games in the series overall. The Celtics have scored an average of 102.7 points per game in those contests, and their prospects of keeping that up look good against a Jazz team that's surrendered a whopping 109.3 points per game over their last three. The Celtics will look to Jeff Green early and often - he scored 29 points in their last game, giving him an average of 26.4 points per game over his last seven road games. The Celtics should come out extra motivated after the way their last game ended, with Brad Stevens and Gerald Wallace ejected late in the fourth quarter. The club also gets Ramon Rondo back after he sat out the team's last game. Meanwhile, Utah still awaits the return of top big man Derrick Favors, who has been replaced by Enes Kanter in the team's starting lineup. The Jazz are 1-24 SU when Kanter draws a start. Take Boston. 02-24-14 | Dallas Mavericks v. New York Knicks +4 | 110-108 | Win | 100 | 24 h 56 m | Show
New York +4
The New York Knicks play host to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night. On the surface, this is a matchup between two teams headed in different directions right now, and that allows us to grab an extremely favorable line. Dallas has won nine of their last 12 games, including the first two contests on their three-game road swing. Aside from one impressive win over the Pacers (Indiana was on a back-to-back), the Mavericks have been disposing of the league's bottom feeders, with wins over the 76ers, Celtics, Jazz, Cavs, and Kings in that span. New York can be lumped into that same category, but with hopes of still making the playoffs, we can count on the Knicks to play hard. And for some reason or another, this Knicks squad has given the Mavericks trouble recently. New York won 92-80 in Dallas on January 5th, limiting Dirk Nowitzki to just 18 points. The Knicks have also won the last two matchups at MSG, holding the Mavericks to an average of 95.5 points in this contests. The Knicks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Southwest opponents. The home team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams. Take New York. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on New York Knicks +4 |

The Philadelphia 76ers host the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. Philadelphia is coming off a 124-112 loss to Dallas, while Milwaukee dropped its last game to Indiana, 110-100. On the surface, this matchup looks like a toss up between two of the Association's worst teams, but a closer look shows that the oddsmakers got this line wrong in a matchup they surely overlooked. The 76ers bring just about the only marquee name to the table in Michael Carter-Williams, and have the better base record, but it's actually the Bucks who are in better form entering Monday's matchup. The 76ers sold off just about all of their useful parts at the trade deadline, and the team is now just a hot mess. Philadelphia's losing streak reached double-digits with their loss in Dallas, so they have no business giving away points to anyone. Meanwhile, Milwaukee's core remains intact, with players like Brandon Knight and Ersan Ilyasova heating up. The 76ers have been outscored by an average of 116.1-95.8 over their last 10 games. Memphis Grizzlies -1.5
The Charlotte Bobcats host the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Charlotte has the advantage of getting this game at home, but Memphis has been one of the Association's best road teams, posting a 15-9 mark on the road this season. The Grizzlies get this game on the second night of a back-to-back, but for the Bobcats, this game will be their fourth in five nights, with a six-day layoff in front of them, so looking beyond this game would be understandable. The Bobcats are in position to make the playoffs in the lowly Eastern Conference thanks to a stretch of late in which they've played some pretty hot basketball against inferior opponents. A big reason for that has been the stellar play of power forward Al Jefferson, who has averaged better than 24 points in 2014, but Jefferson has had a tough time scoring against Memphis, understandable with Zach Randolph and reigning Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol leaning on him. Randolph showed his ability to take away a dominant big man in the postseason when he shut down Blake Griffin. Jefferson averaged 17.0 points on .452 shooting against the Grizzlies in four meetings last season. The Grizzlies are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 road games. Take Memphis. Detroit +3
The Charlotte Bobcats host the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. Charlotte if coming off a 108-96 win in Detroit in the front-end of this home-and-home series. Detroit badly outplayed Charlotte on Wednesday night, attempting a whopping 23 more field goals thanks to a nine-rebound advantage on the boards. The difference was that Charlotte hit at a ridiculous 52 percent clip on their shots from the field, well above their season average, and well above any team's season average for that matter, while Detroit shot just 39.8 percent from the field. That win on Tuesday helps us to get a favorable number in this matchup on a Charlotte string that hasn't been able to string wins together against a Detroit team that simply has their number. Expect this story to end very differently on Wednesday as the shooting percentage for both sides works back towards the norm. The Pistons are 7-0 in their last seven trips to Charlotte, and the road team is 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings between these teams. Take Detroit. The Cleveland Cavaliers host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night. Cleveland is coming off a 114-85 win over Philadelphia, while Orlando dropped its last game to Milwaukee, 104-100. With Kyrie Irving winning the All-Star Game MVP award and the Cavaliers winning five games in a row, bettors have been quick to get behind Cleveland in this one, and that's led to plenty of value on the other side in this one. The only playoff team among those five wins was Washington, and they rank in the bottom half of the lowly Eastern Conference, so let's not get ahead of ourselves. The team had lost five in a row prior to that streak. Now they have to deal with an injury to Dion Waiters after he landed awkwardly on Tuesday and injured his left knee. As for Orlando, they've been very competitive of late, keeping within seven points in seven of their last eight games, winning four, and keeping within at least five points in winning three of their last five games. The Portland Pilots dominated Loyola Marymount already on the road this year. They should beat them handily tonight at home as well. Loyola Marymount is a team that has some talent, but they play individual basketball instead of team ball, and a good disciplined team like Portland is a bad matchup for Marymount. Anthony Ireland burst onto the scene as a very good guard for Marymount in his freshman year. He is ultra talented, but he puts up too many bad shots at this point in his career. The Lions shoot less than 30 percent from beyond the three point line. Portland plays well at home (they did beat Gonzaga at home already this year). The Pilots are a well-coached team that does a nice job not beating themselves. Portland is a solid defensive team, and they take care of the ball very well. The Volunteers actually beat them both times they met in 2012. Tennessee knows how to play Florida tough. Florida blasted Tennessee 67-41 at home earlier this year, but I think that makes this spot even better for the Volunteers. Tennessee has proven time and time again that they are up to the challenge of beating top teams at home. The best team they have played at home this year was Virginia. The Milwaukee Bucks host the Boston Celtics on Monday night. Milwaukee is coming off a 101-95 loss to Houston, while Boston fell to Dallas in their last outing, 102-91. The Bucks may be getting this game at home, but they have no business being in the pick'em range against any opponent. The Bucks have a league worst nine wins on the season, and are just 5-19 at home. The team, whose roster is short on talent as it is, is poised to take a hit on Monday with Larry Sanders, Ersan Ilyasova, Ekpe Udoh, and Luke Ridnour all dealing with injuries. Those first three in particular mean big trouble in the boards for the Bucks as guys like Kris Humphries and Jared Sullinger, fresh off a double-double, will be licking their chops. As for Boston, the franchise may be in tank mode, but they have far more talent, and more pride. Rajon Rondo is expected to miss this contest but that will force the rest of the Celtics to pick up the slack. The Indiana Pacers host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night. Indiana is coming off an 89-85 win over Atlanta, while Portland beat New York their last time out, 94-90. While Portland may be coming off a win, the team has taken a major step backwards in recent weeks. The Trail Blazers have lost three of their last five and five of their last nine games, including three of their last four on the road. The team simply hasn't been able to keep up the torrid scoring pace that they were able to accumulate earlier in the season. Over their last five games, the Trail Blazers have averaged just 91.8 points per game. Now they get a Pacers team that is streaking in the right direction, and of course, plays terrific defense. The Pacers have won three in a row, allowing just 86.7 points per game along the way. The Pacers have also done a terrific job of defending their home court, posting a 23-2 home record on the season, and should be able to add to that mark as the home team has won each of the last seven meetings between these clubs. The Pacers are 25-9 ATS in their last 34 home games. Take Indiana. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Indiana Pacers -5.5 |

02-07-14 | Brown +16 v. Harvard | 45-52 | Win | 100 | 21 h 32 m | Show
Brown +16
The Harvard Crimson host the Brown Bears on Friday night. Harvard is coming off an 80-50 win over Pennsylvania, while Brown beat Columbia their last time out, 64-56. Harvard has been kicking ass and taking names in Ivy League play, but Brown has been a lot better of late, and could give them a run for their money. The Bears have quietly won five of their last six games. A big part of the team's turnaround has been the play of Sean McGonagill. McGonagill is averaging a team-high 18.5 points per game on the season, and has continued to pour in points in Ivy League play, scoring 17.8 points per game on 44.7 percent shooting, also hitting on 52.0 percent of three-pointers in those four games. Brown also isn't afraid to go on the road to face Harvard. In last year's trip to Cambridge, the Bears forced overtime in a game they eventually lost 89-82 as 11.5-point favorites. With the Bears ranking 14th in the nation in rebounding and Harvard ranking 163rd, the Bears could be in position to make some noise once again. The Bears are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine Ivy League games. Take Brown. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Brown Bears +16 |

Chicago +8
The Golden State Warriors host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night. The Bulls had won seven of their previous eight road games, and 11 of 15 games overall to get themselves back above .500 for the first time since Nov. 24. prior to losing back-to-back games to begin their current six-game road trip. The second of those back-to-back losses saw the team shoot a season-low 28.2 percent from the field, their worst shooting performance since 2003. The team bounced back in their last outing, a crucial road win over Phoenix to get back to the .500 mark. Now it will be Golden State looking to rebound from a poor shooting effort, though they'll be in tough against a strong Bulls defense, rather than the offensive minded Suns. The Warriors were playing their first game in four days on Tuesday when they took on Golden State and they just could not find their shooting stroke against a solid Charlotte defense. The Warriors shot just 31.2 percent from the field, their worst performance since 2004. The team |

Toronto pk
The Sacramento Kings host the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. Sacramento is coming off a 99-70 win over Chicago, while Toronto beat Utah their last time out, 94-79. Don't let the Kings fool you, the team may be coming off a win over the Bulls, buy they've been downright lousy of late. The team had dropped seven in a row before the Bulls came to town. The only reason they were able to sneak was Chicago was that the Bulls didn't ever really show up. The team shot just 28.2 percent from the floor, their worst effort in nearly a decade. On the other side, the Raptors are streaking in the right direction. Toronto has won four of its last five games and six of its last eight, with the only two losses coming by a combined 11 points to two of the top teams in the Western Conference - the Clippers and Trail Blazers. The Raptors have been a strong team on the road this season, putting together a 14-12 road record, putting them in pretty elite company with the Pacers and Heat as the only Eastern Conference teams with a road record above .500. These teams were involved in a blockbuster trade early this season, with the Raptors sending Rudy Gay to Sacramento. Gay's unwillingness to spread the ball made him expendable in Toronto, and the Raptors are going to love showing up to Sacramento with a full scouting report on how to stop him. Gay's departure has meant increased roles for other Raptors, like DeMar DeRozan who earned his first All Star nod, Kyle Lowry who is averaging career-highs across the board, and Jonas Valanciunas, who has imposed his will in recent games, averaging 16.7 points and 10.2 rebounds over the last six games. The Raptors have quietly been one of the best bets in basketball, posting a 22-6 ATS mark over their last 28 games, and a 21-7 ATS mark in their last 28 road games. With the oddsmakers simply getting this line wrong, we'll gladly bump this play up to our top rating. Take Toronto. Good Luck, Razor Ray 10* TOP PLAY on Toronto Raptors pk |

02-05-14 | San Antonio Spurs -1 v. Washington Wizards | 125-118 | Win | 100 | 6 h 47 m | Show
San Antonio -1
The Washington Wizards play host to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday evening. Washington finally move above the .500 mark after beating the Blazers on Monday, but we see this as a good time to sell high on the Wiz. Washington is capable of playing a good brand of basketball, but they're also one of the most inconsistent squads in the league. The Wizards have defeated the Thunder and Blazers in back-to-back games, but let's not forget that they've lost to the Celtics, Bucks, 76ers, and Jazz this season; four of the league's worst teams. Now they battle a Spurs team that has put together back-to-back wins following a season-worst three games losing streak. The Spurs will undoubtedly miss the services of Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobli, but they have a very deep squad that is capable of winning games in their absence. San Antonio has also been downright dominant against the Wizards in recent years. The Spurs have won 15 straight matchups against Washington, including six straight on the road, with an average margin of victory of 21.1 points. The Spurts already beat up the Wizards earlier this season, limiting John Wall to just 14 points on 5-of-19 shooting. Wall's 11.8 ppg in five career games against San Antonio is his lowest against any team in the league. The Spurs are 43-19-1 ATS in their last 63 games against Eastern Conference opponents. The Wizards are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games. Take San Antonio. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on San Antonio Spurs -1 |

LA Lakers +11
The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. We don't believe there's been enough of a market correction to Minnesota without Nikola Pekovic in the lineup. Pekovic has missed four straight games and his absence has been felt in back-to-back losses to Atlanta and Memphis. As Kevin Love said after Saturday's loss in Atlanta, "you're having to make up for 20 points and 10 rebounds", which is a lot of production that is missing. Meanwhile, the Lakers are struggling, but they get some good news with the likely return of Steve Nash to the lineup. Nash has been suffering from a nerve root irritation in his back but is expected to be back in the lineup against the T'Wolves. Fellow guard Steve Blake could also be making his return to the lineup tonight. Despite the numerous injuries that the Lakers have suffered, they've only lost one of their last 12 games by a margin of 12 points or greater. That loss came against the Indiana Pacers, one of the league's strongest teams. Los Angeles has been producing in the win column, but they also haven't been getting blown out. The Lakers are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Minnesota. Take Los Angeles. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Los Angeles Lakers +11 |

Cleveland +9.5
The Dallas Mavericks host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. Dallas is coming off a 107-103 win over Sacramento, while Cleveland fell to Houston in their last game, 106-92. The Mavericks have been solid at home this season, but their defensive play has let them down in a big way of late. Over their last four games, the Mavericks have surrendered 108.3 points per game. In their last four home games, that number jumps up to 113.3 points per game. Given their current form, it will be a tough task for them to build up this kind of margin against a Cavaliers team that can score the basketball. The Mavericks have also been bailed out by some strong performances of late by Dirk Nowitzki, but his 42.8 percent shooting mark against the Cavaliers is his lowest against any franchise. A big part of that has been the play of Anderson Varejao in the middle. He has helped Cleveland to the 15th-best rebounding margin in the association, compared with Dallas |

William & Mary shoots it from long range at an impressive 42 percent clip. The Tribe have multiple guys who can fill it up from long range. James Madison is a team that struggles at guarding beyond the three-point arc, and the Dukes were beaten by 22 points by William & Mary in their last meeting a couple weeks ago. William & Mary broke through with a nice road win at Drexel a couple games ago, and I think that helps them a ton here. The Tribe have far more offensive firepower than James Madison. The New York Knicks host the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night. New York is coming off a 110-103 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, while Boston fell to Brooklyn in their last contest, 85-79. The Knicks have drawn plenty of national attention due to terrific performances by Carmelo Anthony of late, but the team has now business being a favorite against anyone given their current form. Prior to their last two wins, against a bad Charlotte team and a Lakers squad that is effectively a minor league team at the moment, the Knicks had lost five games in a row, including losses against that same Charlotte team, and a brutal home loss to a rebuilding Philadelphia team. As for Boston, they've stayed competitive in recent outing thanks to solid coaching and a roster that doesn't want to lose. Over their last seven games (Rajon Rondo has played in five of them) the Celtics have lost by more than six points only twice, and those games came against the elite of the NBA in Miami and Oklahoma City. The Celtics are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games. The Celtics are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings between these teams, and are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings between these teams in New York. The Temple Owls host the 15th-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats on Sunday. Temple is coming off a 90-66 loss to UConn, while Cincinnati beat Central Florida their last time out, 69-51. The Bearcats dug themselves a hole with back to-to-back losses in early December. The team has been great outside of those contests and would certainly be in the national top 10 if they hadn't given away those games. The team has since won 11 in a row, including a huge road win at a Memphis team that was then ranked no. 18 in the country. The Cincinnati defense has been one of the better units in the country, limiting opponents to just 54.9 points per game in their seven conference games. The Bearcats are simply red hot and are going to be trouble for any team in their path. The Bearcats are 7-3 in their last 10 games overall. As for Temple, they have lost seven in a row and nine of their last 10, and they simply haven't done much to limit what their opponents can do at the offensive end, allowing their last two opponents to shoot a combined 53 percent from the field. The Toronto Raptors host the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday evening. Both teams enter this game coming off of wins on Friday night, but Toronto has the luxury of playing this game at home. The Raptors have won seven of their last eight games at the Air Canada Centre, thanks to big performances from Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan. The Raptors have also stepped up their game on the defensive end of the floor. Their outstanding play at home is directly correlated to a defense that's allowed just 91.6 points per game and held opponents to 43.8 percent shooting in that 7-1 stretch. The Clippers have been hot themselves as Blake Griffin has picked up the slack for an injured Chris Paul. With that being said, Toronto has some solid defensive big men in Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas, who should be able to keep Griffin in check. The Atlanta Hawks host the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. It's been heavily documented that the Spurs are the only team in the league that's yet to lose back-to-back games, but we see a great opportunity with the Hawks here. San Antonio has remained relatively healthy this season, but injuries are starting to take their toll. Kawhi Leonard went down in Wednesday's loss to the Thunder, adding to San Antonio's injury woes, as they were already without Danny Green and Tiago Splitter. Meanwhile, the Hawks have been quietly playing some good ball. Atlanta knocked off Miami at home on Monday and held on for a rare road victory in Orlando on Wednesday. Atlanta also has a tendency to play up to the level of their opponents. The Hawks are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a winning % above .600. Betting on games that involve teams the betting public doesn't know a whole lot about often presents opportunities for us to get in at a fair number, and that's just what we get here. These teams enter playing at very different levels right now. Texas State has lost five of their last six games, while Arkansas-Little Rock has won five of its last seven games. The Atlanta Hawks host the Miami Heat on Monday night. Atlanta is coming off a 127-110 loss to Brooklyn, while Miami beat Charlotte in overtime their last time out, 104-96. It's easy to look at this game and assume that Miami should be favored based on the talent we know they have on the roster, but the team is clearly in some trouble right now, and this spot just doesn't lend itself to confidence in the defending champions, yet the general public is unwilling to accept that. The Heat close out a six-game road trip on Monday night, with the second of a back-to-back coming on Tuesday at home against Boston, and another game coming on Thursday in prime time against the Los Angeles Lakers. With these games on tap and a long road trip coming to an end, it would be tough to fault the Heat for looking ahead. The team has lost three of the first five games of their current road trip, and needed overtime to get past Charlotte in their last outing. The Indiana Pacers host the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. The Pacers sport the best home record in the NBA at 20-1. They're going for their ninth straight victory at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and they've outscored opponents by an average of 21.3 points in their eight prior home games. Indiana can score points, but it's their defense at home that separates them from the pack. In their current home winning streak, they've allowed an average of 81.7 points, and they should be able to continue that trend against a Clippers squad that played in New York last night. Los Angeles is 6-1 since Chris Paul went down with an injury, but we doubt that they can continue at that torrid pace without their All-Star point guard. Darren Collison has filled in for the injured Paul, and the Pacers have strong familiarity with Collison, stemming from his three years in Indiana from 2010-2012. Indiana beat the Clippers 105-100 at Staples Center on December 1st, and that was with Paul fully healthy. On their home court, they should be able to win comfortably. The Memphis Grizzlies host the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. Memphis is coming off an 82-77 win over Milwaukee, while Sacramento beat Minnesota their last time out, 111-108. We were very active in backing the Grizzlies during their great run a year ago and the team seems poised to go on a great run this season which has us ready to get behind them. The impact the return of Marc Gasol has had on the Grizzlies is incredibly evident by just looking at the scores of their last five games. In their last two games, the Grizzlies have surrendered an average of 82.0 points, after surrendering an average of 103.3 in their previous three. That's 21.3 points per game fewer with Gasol in the lineup. Now the team gets a Sacramento squad that they've owned in recent years. The Toronto Raptors host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. Toronto is coming off an 88-83 loss to Boston, while Minnesota dropped their last game to Sacramento, 111-108. Toronto has been one of the best teams in the association of late, and one bad loss to Boston on the road isn't enough to knock us off their bandwagon. The Raptors have been stellar since trading away Rudy Gay, as the team has gotten far more efficient at the offensive end without Gay, and general manager Masai Ujiri did a great job of bringing a bench back the other way, and the Raptors are now in a position to make some noise down the stretch. Virginia Tech +3.5
The Virginia Tech Hokies are improving quickly on the defensive end of the floor. Coach James Johnson has worked hard on making this team better defensively, and it is starting to show up both on the court and in the statistics for the Hokies. Opponents are shooting just 39 percent from the floor against Virginia Tech. The Hokies shoot 40 percent from three-point range, and they have shot it extremely well on their home floor in Blacksburg. Clemson is coming off a huge win at home over Duke, and because of that win the Tigers are getting too much respect from the oddsmakers. Remember, this is still a Clemson team that went 13-18 last season. The Tigers are a better team this year, but I |

The IP Fort Wayne Mastadons are on the rise. The Mastadons knocked off the preseason favorite in the Summit League on Thursday night in impressive fashion. Fort Wayne beat North Dakota State by a score of 82-71. That win meant a lot to the program, and it should boost them into this game. South Dakota State has been the team to beat in the Summit League for the past few seasons, but things are different this year. What |

The Utah Utes may be the most improved team in college basketball this year. Delon Wright was a huge pickup for the Utes, and he makes this team much better on both ends of the floor. The Utes have slowly been getting better over the last couple years, and this is the year where that is really starting to show up in their record. Washington has struggled at home this year. The Huskies have already lost at home to UC Irvine and UConn. They were blown away on neutral courts by Indiana and Boston College. Washington has no inside game, and the Huskies have been bitten by the injury bug. Utah is a deeper team than the Huskies this year, and the Utes actually beat Washington on the road last year. 01-05-14 | Memphis Grizzlies +2.5 v. Detroit Pistons | 112-84 | Win | 100 | 15 h 59 m | Show
Memphis +2.5
The Detroit Pistons host the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday afternoon. Detroit is coming off a 106-99 loss to Washington, while Memphis dropped their last game to Denver, 111-108. The Grizzlies have been vulnerable since center Marc Gasol went down, but the team has begun to figure things out, winning four of their last seven games, not losing back-to-back games in that stretch. As for the Pistons, the high-priced talent the team brought in during the offseason just hasn't meshed well together, and its shown on the court. Detroit has lost five of its last six games. The Pistons get this game at home, but that hasn't mattered in past meetings with the Grizzlies, as Memphis has won eight in a row in this series, including five straight in Detroit. A big part of Memphis's turnaround has been their ability to score the basketball, and that spells trouble for Detroit, as the Pistons have posted a 2-12 record when surrendering 100 or more points this season. Detroit could also come out rusty after a five day layoff and going against a strong Memphis defense. They're also expected to be without guard Rodney Stuckey for the second game in a row, another blow to their offense. The Grizzlies are 7-3-1 in their last 11 road games. Take Memphis. Oakland -1
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies have played the 10th toughest schedule in the nation so far this year. Oakland has been beaten up by some very good teams during that time. They played UCLA, Michigan State, Indiana, Gonzaga, and others. While it was no fun to lose to those teams then, it is going to help them in conference play. Oakland will take on Valparaiso Saturday in what is an important game for both teams. The Golden Grizzlies have shown signs of life lately. They beat Ohio and Illinois State both badly at home, and both of those teams are high quality teams. Oakland can score the basketball in bunches, and they are terrific offensively at home. Look for Oakland to beat mediocre teams at home the rest of this season. They are now healthy and battle tested. Valparaiso lost a ton of senior talent from last year |

Chicago -4
The Chicago Bulls host the Boston Celtics on Thursday night. Chicago is coming off an 85-79 loss to Toronto, while Boston fell to Atlanta in their last game, 92-91. The Chicago roster has been decimated by injuries this year, and as such, the team has been one of the biggest disappointments of the year. Nevertheless, the Bulls will bring the more talented squad to the floor when they face off with the Celtics. The schedule makers did the Celtics a favor by giving them seven home games in a stretch of eight games around the holidays, but the team will be making just their second trip to an opponent |

12-28-13 | Miami Heat v. Portland Trail Blazers -1 | 108-107 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 49 m | Show
Portland -1
The Portland Trail Blazers host the Miami Heat on Saturday night. Portland is coming off a 116-112 overtime win over the Clippers, while Miami fell to Sacramento in overtime on Friday night, 108-103. We cashed a pair of tickets by fading the Blazers in the last 10 days, but we'll get behind the team in this one. The schedule makers didn't do Portland any favors by assigning them a difficult stretch of games leading up to Christmas. The Blazers played a stretch of four games in five days in which we correctly faded them twice, and now the team has failed to cover the spread in each of their last five games. Even still, the Blazers have won seven of their last eight games and now get a Miami team that played a late game that was made even later by an added overtime session on Friday night. Additionally, LeBron James is dealing with a litany of injuries which leave his status in question for Saturday night, and even at something less than 100 percent, the Heat will have plenty of trouble with the Blazers. The Blazers are 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 games versus Eastern Conference opponents, while the Heat are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. Take Portland. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play |

Phoenix +6
The Golden State Warriors host the Phoenix Suns on Friday night. Golden State is coming off a 105-103 win over the Clippers, while Phoenix beat the Lakers their last time out, 117-90. These teams have already met once this season, and Phoenix took that game by a score of 106-102, yet they're giving away a healthy number of points in this one, a good enough reason for us to get behind the Suns on this night. The Suns have quietly had an impressive season, and their early hot start was expected to fade, but instead they've only continued to get better. The Suns have won eight of their last nine games, covering in eight of them. Their only loss and failed cover came against the San Antonio Spurs. The Suns have been on fire scoring the basketball, averaging a whopping 110.8 points per game over their last eight contests. As the team continues to be undervalued by a betting public that refuses to give them the respect they deserve, we'll continue to jump in on spots like this one. The Suns are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games. Take Phoenix. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Phoenix Suns +6 |

Portland -9
The Portland Trailblazers play host to the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night. Portland is playing some really good ball right now, and they'll be ready to go in their first game of a three-game homestand. The Blazers are 10-2 at home this season and have scored at least 111 points in three of their last four home contests. They now take on a Pelicans team that allows a whopping 106.7 points per game away from home. The Pelicans are already 0-3 on a five-game road trip and have lost those three games by an average margin of 11 points. Anthony Davis return to the New Orleans lineup on Wednesday, but that wasn't nearly enough, as the Pelicans were shellacked by the Clippers. The Pelicans are just 4-12 this season when allowing triple-digits, and since we fully expect the Blazers to eclipse the century mark here, New Orleans will likely drop to 4-13 in that situation. The Pelicans are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 road games. The Pelicans are 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 games against Western Conference opponents. The Blazers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. loss. Take Portland. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Portland Trailblazers -9 |

Cleveland +5
The Cleveland Cavaliers host the Portland Trailblazers on Tuesday night. Cleveland is coming off a 114-107 loss to Miami, while Portland beat Detroit in overtime their last time out, 111-109. This game is all about the situation, with Portland playing their third road game in four nights, coming off an overtime game. To further Portland's scheduling woes, the team has a far more important game on Wednesday night in a divisional matchup with Minnesota, so it will be easy for them to look past this contest. The team had plenty of trouble with Cleveland in two meetings last season, squeezing out a one-point win in overtime at home, and losing by five in Cleveland in January. Now they have to go back to Cleveland in their third road game in four nights with a fourth scheduled for the next night for a strong look ahead factor. As good as the young Blazers have been this season, this situation may be too much for them to overcome on the road against an underrated Cavaliers squad. The Miami Heat play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night. Cleveland has been disappointing this season, but they're starting to turns things around. The Cavs have won three straight games and five out of their last six after a 109-100 victory in Orlando on Friday night. We feel as though oddsmakers have been slow to adjust to their recent success. The Cavs haven't forgotten that LeBron James used to play for them, and subsequently, we get maximum effort out of Cleveland every time they take on Miami. The Cavs have lost to the Heat by more than four points only once in their last five meetings. Meanwhile, Miami is mired in a mini-slump right now. The Heat have dropped three of their last five games after a 90-84 setback in Indiana on Tuesday. Miami has had plenty of time to dwell on that game, and it wouldn't come as a surprise if they're not completely focused on the lowly Cavaliers tonight. The Cavaliers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Heat are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. The Cavaliers are 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings in Miami. Take Cleveland. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Cleveland Cavaliers +13 |
