Giants -2

We’re on the Giants here as they wrap up their preseason slate against the Jets. We’re likely going to see the Giants starters for some time here as Daniel Jones and company played a full half last time out. It look like there was a little rust on their end too, which is good as they shook that off and should be much sharper here. Following the departure of Jones, we’ll get Tommy DeVito as well here. Both Giants QBs are going to look to be on their top game and it’ll add a lot of value here to this spot. They’ll  likely be going against the Jets backups as they’re expected to march out QB Adrian Martinez. The Jets haven’t shown much in terms of playing their top guys this preseason and that’ll give us an edge in this one. Expect the Giants to have more motivation and for them to come out much sharper on Saturday night. 

Saturday 7* NFL ATS Play

Over 37

We’re playing the Over as the Bucs and Jags battle in a preseason show down on Saturday. Tampa Bay is in the midst of a backup battle as both Kyle Trask and John Wofford both saw a majority of the time in the team’s opener. These two are expected to see the same amount of time on Saturday, which bodes well for this over. You’re getting two QBs who are going to be on their top game against backup defenders, which should equal some solid drives. Jacksonville will also see two QBs who have the experience. CJ Beathard and Mac Jones will split time as it was confirmed they’d be playing one half a piece. We’re getting two QBs who are like the Bucs side, where they will be on their top game. We will see plenty of pass attempts both ways and for this game to be high scoring. 

Saturday 8* NFL O/U Play

Chiefs -7

We’re playing the Chiefs on Saturday as they welcome in the Lions for their 2nd preseason game. From the sounds of it, it seems that Andy Reid will likely play the starters for a majority of the first half, if not all of it. That has been a common theme in past preseasons for the Chiefs as Reid has made a point to make sure he gets his starters in there routinely. He’s made it clear that this is way more valuable than a joint practice with another team. We’re expecting the Chiefs to play these guys for a while and then turn it over to Carson Wentz. The veteran will come in and take a majority of the snaps after which adds to this valuable play. The Lions looked abysmal in Week 1 of their preseason game against the Giants as they struggled mightily to get anything going offensively. This is going to be a game the Chiefs take control of from the outset.

Saturday 8* NFLX ATS Play

Eagles +2.5

Both the Eagles and Patriots started off the NFL Preseason with a win and they battle in the 2nd game for both in Foxborough. We’re playing the Eagles here, who defeated the Ravens which is a feat in itself as Baltimore is known for dominating in the preseason. The Eagles saw Kenny Pickett throw the ball 22 times in the opener and he’s out to make a name for himself as he will back up Hurts. Pickett will get just as many snaps here and this is a good spot for him as he has the starter experience from the Steelers, going up against 2nd stringers as the game goes on. The Patriots will continue to cycle in QBs as they look to see what they have as realistically there’s plenty of question marks there. Philadelphia is the better team obviously and even with their 2nd and 3rd stringers, they still have an edge.

Thursday 8* NFLX ATS Play

Rams +3.5

Rams The Rams and Cowboys clash on Sunday and we’re on the Rams here. Los Angeles will take on a Cowboys team that will not feature the likes of Dak Prescott or Ceedee Lamb. The Cowboys have made it clear they intend to play the rest of their starters very minimally, if at all. QB Stetson Bennett will get a majority of the snaps for the Rams, which is a good boost for this side as he will look to make a name for himself during this preseason. He’s trying to make sure his spot on the team is solidified and he wants to compete for the backup spot. The Cowboys typically don’t pay too much attention during the preseason and this gives the Rams a chance to lean on some of their position battles. Grab the Rams.  

Sunday 8* NFL ATS Play

Ravens +115

We’re on the Ravens ML here as they open the preseason against the Eagles. This is a play where based on history during the preseason, Harbaugh is on who wants to win. While he’s already stated that the starters will not play, he still has shown that he will coach games like this where he plays to win. His lifetime mark in the preseason is 44-14 and he has gone 40-18 ATS. On the flip side of that, Eagles Head Coach, Nick Sirianni has gone just 1-6-2. There’s a clear coaching edge and Baltimore will go with a veteran Qb still in Johnson. We’re getting good value in the preseason with a vet calling the shots and Harbaugh always going out there with the mentality that he wants to win. Back Baltimore on the ML.

Friday 8* NFL ML Play

Philadelphia +4.5

We’re on the Eagles here, as they finish up their preseason against the Colts.

The Eagles come in off a tie to the Browns and a 1 point loss to the Ravens this preseason. Now they take on a Colts team that’s in turmoil right before the season.

Indy has plenty of distractions to go around right now. RB Johnathon Taylor was granted permission to seek a trade and now they’re scrambling to figure things out.

Philadelphia will finish off a few battles for spots on the defensive end as well, which should produce some hard play throughout this game.

Look for the Eagles to have a chance to steal this outright.

Cleveland +2

The Hall of Fame Game pins New York and Cleveland against one another in Canton, Ohio on Thursday. 

This will be a special day all around for Cleveland. The Browns will watch former OT, Joe Thomas, get inducted into the Hall of Fame for starters. Combine that with this game being in the backyard for Cleveland and the buzz will be real in the city for it. 

You likely won’t see many, if any starters, but that’s not a bad thing for the Cleveland side. They’ll have plenty of motivation with this being at home. They also have more position battles to sort out, which will give them an edge. 

Kellen Mond has already been announced as Cleveland’s starter, as he vies for a spot on this roster as a backup. I'm not expecting to see Rodgers suit up for the Jets. Zach Wilson will start. Plus we've heard most Jets starters will sit this one.

Some trends to note, Cleveland are 14-4 SU in their last 18 games played in August. On the other side the NY Jets are 0-5 SU in their last 5 games on the road, and are 0-6 SU in their last 6 games, plus they're 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games.

There’s far more motivational factors that favor Cleveland here.

We're on the Titans here laying the number.

Tampa Bay has their roster figured out from top to bottom. Brady is out and we won't see many of their starters here.

Tennessee has a solid back up lineup that can put together drives, which is why we're taking them here. Look for them to take control more and more as the game goes on, as they should be looking to work on a lot of different things and have some position battles where guys will give much more effort late.

Panthers vs. Patriots Under

These two teams will have some bad blood entering play on Friday.

In their joint practice this week, both teams saw a fight break out that nearly led them into the stands where fans were sitting. It was one of a few scraps that happened during the practice. 

Look for a little extra motivation from both sides here, even for a preseason game. With that in mind, we should see much harder playing throughout, giving us a solid number on this under.

Cardinals vs. Bengals Under 

We're on the Under here in this one. 

Expect a very heavy dosage of backups from both sides here. There is no reason for either side to really utilize their main starters for very long, if at all, as both teams are established with some key players heading into the season. 

Look for a very slowly played game with the threat of a big play very slim. With a lot of run plays and short gains, this Under has the value.

Baltimore has been notorious for being a solid preseason team. They come into play on Thursday winners of 20 straight preseason games as they take it very seriously. Harbaugh will consistently try to win games and put even his backups in positions where they can learn and grow. 

Even QB Lamar Jackson came out and said he and his teammates don't care if it's preseason or the regular season, they want to win. To have your leader come out and say that speaks volumes to the effort we'll see here tonight.

We're on the Browns here as they battle the Falcons Sunday night.

Cleveland will give their starters some time for the first time really all preseason together and that bodes well for them here. Expect the Browns to get out early in this one, as Mayfield and the offense will be looking to sync up as they prepare for Week 1. 

Atlanta has dropped both of their preseason games as their defense has been absolutely abysmal.

The Ravens have value here on the ML.

We've backed them in this run during the preseason and there is no reason to stop now. 

They play these games like they want to win and they have a spirited fight in them from start to finish. Look for some of the regulars to even get a few more snaps as well, which gives us even more value here.

This is just too many points in a preseason game. 

Jalen Hurts did not play last time out because of a stomach virus, so we can expect him to get some solid time here on Friday. With the Eagles coming in 0-2 and the offense just not looking in sync, Hurts will get some solid reps to right the ship here.

Look for that to be the difference maker and for the Eagles to give a nice effort, given their slow start so far.

With that in mind, grabbing the Ravens straight up is worth the move, given how much success they've had.

With a lot of hype around the Patriots, this line makes them a favorite. However, the Eagles have a lot of buzz and excitement around them and are worth the move in this one.

Baltimore, for some reason, just tends to play well in the preseason. They have won 17 in a row in the preseason which is quite the feat.

Meanwhile, the Saints have a lot of rebuilding issues and they are going to endure a lot of growing pains this season. Look for Baltimore to continue that trend here, as the Saints will take some time to get into sync.

The Lions are worth the move on Friday here.

With a new head coach in town, the Lions are surely going to try and make a nice statement, even in the preseason here. Dan Campbell has taken over and he will see a lot of young guys get time here. With Matt Stafford being traded, this is the time for a lot of different players to step up and be the core. 

Expect the Lions to play some guys deep into the game and for them to handle the Bills reserves.

The Steelers are worth the move here in the NFL Preseason on Thursday. 

Pittsburgh kicked things off in the Hall of Fame game and already have the rust off. With this being their 2nd preseason game, look for the starters to get a little more time. On top of that, they should also be looking to really work on things here instead of just trying to get their feet underneath them. 

Some trends to note. Steelers are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 Thursday games. Steelers are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games as a road underdog.

Preseason football is back and the Under has value here in the Hall of Fame Game.

You won't see the stars from both sides and if you do, it won't be very long. That plays a part in this as well as both teams being extremely rusty.

Look for slowly developing plays and nothing to come in big chunks, as this clock will tick down constantly.

Cleveland vs. Tampa Bay Over 42

The Browns and Bucs battle in Florida on Friday night and the Over here has some nice value. 

Cleveland's offense has been rolling no matter who is in at QB. The Browns have put up 51 points this preseason through their first two games as they have seen a lot of positives from every string. 

They will take on a Tampa Bay defense here that has been a struggle themselves too. Look for Cleveland to see the starters get maybe a few more reps, but for the 2nd and 3rd stringers to have just as much of success as they've had. 

As for the Bucs, they haven't been shy about opening the playbook in their first two games. While they came away with a 16-14 win last time out, they put up 28 points in a 30-28 loss in their opener. This team will also look to open the playbook more with this being Week 3 of the preseason slate.

Seattle vs. Minnesota Over

The Seahawks and Vikings clash here and the Over has solid value. 

Seattle’s offense this preseason will likely be surrounded by two QBs getting a majority of the time. Paxton Lynch and Geno Smith both saw snaps in their opener and we could possibly see the same in this one, but I'm assuming Lynch plays most of this game behind starter Wilson getting his 1-2 series.

With that in mind, these the Seahawks QB's won’t hold anything back as they vie for positions on the depth chart which certainly benefits the Over.

As for Minnesota, they put up 24 points in their preseason opener using 4 QBs. Sean Mannion saw the most time and will likely have the first half here too which will could have this offense moving. 

Look for a game where both teams get production throughout.

New York Giants -2.5

The Chicago Bears and New York Giants clash Friday night and the Giants have value here laying the low number.

In preseason you always want to see teams who have players to play for something. 

That’s exactly what we have with Giants QB Daniel Jones. He stole the shower in the opener and will likely get even more snaps here as they prep him for the future. 

On top of that, we will likely get a little more Eli Manning too. The Giants fans have been calling for Jones to start after his week 1 performance, which should see Manning actually play with some aggression. 

With these two figuring to get a majority of the snaps for New York, look for them to have the value here on Friday.

The Saints are a nice value play on the ML here.

The Saints will feature Backup QB Teddy Bridgewater, who will be taking on his old team here. Bridgewater will have a chip on his shoulder a bit here, as he will see a lot of the time in this game.

With that in mind, look for him to really give it his all which should see this Saints offense rolling even when they have their 2nd and 3rd stringers in.

With Minnesota likely enduring a few different QBs in this one, the rhythms will be all off for them.

Look for more of a complete game from the Saints here, giving them the edge on Friday night.

Chicago -3

Chicago opens their preseason slate with the Carolina Panthers and they have value laying the points here.

Chicago has already made it known they won't march out Mitch Trubisky much, if at all here. He may see one series, but that necessarily isn't a bad thing. We will see the Bears utilize their two other QBs on the depth chart who are trying to vie for the backup slot. 

With that in mind, Chase Daniel and Tyler Bray will have maximum effort. Once we see the Panthers 2nd and 3rd stringers come in, the Bears will still be running the offense the same way and not make any changes in their scheme. 

Look for this game to mean much more to the Bears than the Panthers.

The Redskins and Browns open up their preseason slate on Thursday.

While the Browns are set on the offensive end, the Redskins have so many questions to work with. In the regular that obviously is not something you want to hear from the Washington perspective, but during the preseason it adds some value.

The Redskins will have a new QB under center, but that will be determined in the preseason. Washington will work with the rotation of Colt McCoy, Case Keenum, and Dwayne Haskins. Look for them all to get work on Thursday, while the Browns will go to their share of backups very early.

With this in mind, the value sits with the visitors.

Denver vs. Atlanta Under 35

The Hall of Fame game marks a huge time for bettors. Football season is upon us and this game is always heavily watched because of the magnitude of football being back. 

First and foremost, both of these teams want to stay as healthy as possible. Don't expect to see much of anything from either side as they want to go through the motions and be able to get the rust off. 

On top of that, this has always been a game where the Under is a nice back. The Under has hit in 6 of the last 7 in this Hall of Fame Game. 

Some trends to note. Under is 3-1-1 in Falcons last 5 Thursday games. Under is 20-8-1 in Broncos last 29 games overall.

Cleveland Browns -3.5

The Browns and Eagles clash in Week 3 of the preseason and the home side here has value. The Eagles are pretty much over the preseason right now. Their shift has been focused to the regular season, especially given the injury scares they've had over the last couple weeks. 

Philadelphia is not expected to put Carson Wentz or Nick Foles under center much here in this one, which gives the Browns tremendous value. Cleveland will continue to keep Tyrod Taylor and Baker Mayfield both in the loop for quite some time, as we've seen Cleveland want to get these two as many reps as possible.

Along with that, the Browns will also see Josh Gordon return here. He'll look to make a splash in a big way, as he's been biting to get back on the field.

Some trends to note. Browns are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games. Home team is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

Everything has aligned here for Cleveland. With the Eagles resting a lot of players and Cleveland still marching out their normal roster, the value sits with the home side.

Washington Redskins -113

The Redskins have value here at this ML price on Thursday night.

Washington has been a nice home bet in the preseason when it comes to playing at home.

In their first home preseason game of the season, the Redskins have gone 8-1 SU and ATS. To go along with that, they have dominated the AFC East in the preseason. Washington enters 8-2 SU and ATS in that span. 

The Jets have also been a struggle situationally as well. New York is just 1-6 SU and ATS in their last 7 when playing in their first away preseason game. Against the Redskins, they've dropped 3 straight as well in the preseason. 

We saw Washington have a great first half last week in New England and had it not been for a fluke play late, they certainly would have covered. Grab them to get their first win of the preseason on Thursday.

Cincinnati Bengals -125 

The Bengals have value at this kind of price here in Week 1 of the preseason.

Cincinnati comes into Thursday notorious for playing well in their preseason opener. 

The Bengals are 6-2 SU in Week 1 of the preseason in their last 8 openers. This team is likely going to sit near the bottom of the AFC North, which actually benefits them in the preseason. They have plenty of positions where they have a lot of players who can grab the starting spot. 

Along with that, we should see both Matt Barkley and Jeff Driskel get significant time. Both will be looking to prove something here, giving Cincinnati that value. 

Chicago has gone 3-7 ATS in their last 10 preseason Week 1 games. Expect that trend to continue here as the Bengals have the situational edge.

The Eagles and Steelers kick things off in Week 1 of the preseason and the home side here has value. 

When looking at preseason games, especially in Week 1, you likely won't see teams top-tier talent. That is certainly going to be the case for the Steelers in this one. This team is built as a Championship contender.

It's likely we will see this team have very few position battles with a majority of their preseason focused on the 3rd stringers and even the players behind them. 

Meanwhile, the defending Super Bowl Champions will be excited to get back out there on Thursday. While they are in a similar boat as the Steelers in terms of roster spots, this crowd will be rocking. You have to believe they'll have a little more swag and more motivation in this one. 

Expect the Eagles to get up more for this one, giving them the value.

New York Giants +1

The Giants and Browns both look for rebound years here in 2018. 

One thing you can't forget is this Browns team has been horrendous over the past two seasons. With just 1 win under their belt in that timeframe, Cleveland went out and made some big moves this offseason.

What Cleveland did could certainly be beneficial down the road. They went out and sign multiple veterans to this team, ones of which who have actually shown a lot in past seasons. However, the chemistry is certainly going to be one thing to watch for, especially early on. Cleveland will have a completely new main core who needs time to get the rhythm down together.

Meanwhile, the Giants have their own share of problems. What we have going for them here is they certainly have a lot of kinks to work out. With essentially a completely new team minus Eli Manning, we will see a lot of effort from these backups as many starting positions will be up for grabs. 

With that in mind and Saquon Barkley's debut, the Giants are the move.

Baltimore Ravens -2.5

The Hall of Fame Game in Canton pins the Bears and Ravens against one another and Baltimore has value laying the number here.

The Ravens are a team that typically flourishes in the preseason. 

For starters, the Ravens have gone a perfect 9-0 ATS in their last 9 preseason games. 

Along with that, John Harbaugh has been a moneymaker in the preseason. Since he took over for the Ravens, Baltimore has gone 27-13 ATS during that span.

Some others trends to note. Bears are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games on grass. Bears are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games.

On the flip side of all that the Bears have struggled as a whole, whether it be in the preseason or regular season for that matter. Given the situational stats here, this one points to Baltimore.

San Francisco -3

Backing the 49ers on Thursday night is a nice move given the history of these two teams in Week 4 of the preseason. 

Starting with the 49ers, they have been a team that typically gives their starters 3 quarters or more with their starters in this spot. It's been a common theme for them to struggle in the first 3 weeks of the preseason and then come back in Week 4 and really go 100%. 

San Francisco has gone 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 Week 4 preseason games.

For the Chargers, things have been the opposite for them in this spot. Los Angeles is 0-7 SU and 1-5-1 ATS in this preseason series against San Francisco. They have also gone 1-4-1 ATS in preseason Week 4. 

Some other trends to note. Chargers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. Chargers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games on grass.

Trends wise, this is certainly a fade play on Los Angeles.

The Patriots are worth a move here for us on Friday night. 

New England has done nothing in terms of even trying in these first two games of the preseason. It's started with the backups and finished with 3rd and 4th stringers. 

That's the making of this team as they know when it's time to turn things up a few notches. Expect the game plan to certainly changed in this one. After doing nothing for 2 games, expect the Pats to maybe not go full go here, but they'll really look to develop some solid offensive and defensive strategies early on. 

Some trends to note.Patriots are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 road games. Patriots are 34-16-2 ATS in their last 52 games overall.

It's worth jumping the Pats this week, as we're going to see a much different game plan here.

Miami Dolphins -2.5

Fading the Ravens here is the solid way to go. 

Baltimore was an absolute mess in their preseason opener and don't have many signs of flipping things around here. 

The Ravens were trounced 23-3 by the Redskins, as QB Ryan Mallet just couldn't find any rhythm or consistency. He'll see a majority of the time here, which is a nice reason for backing the Dolphins in this case. 

Miami played a far better game in a 3 point win over the Falcons. The Dolphins looked much more complete on both sides of the ball and QB David Fales will get another chance at really impressing. Last week he finished with 184 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Expect big things from him against this Ravens defense.

Some trends to note. Ravens are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games.

Lets assume the Dolphins backups repeat last week, making them valuable here.

Pittsburgh's backup core is far more talented than this Giants core, really giving them value here.

The Giants will likely see Eli Manning play one possession at the most here. Following him, you have a depth chart that is filled with inexperience and really low talent value. Webb, Smith and Johnson all follow and will likely get a majority of the snaps, which isn't a promising sight for the Giants.

On the flip side of things, Pittsburgh will see Landry Jones get a lot of the snaps here. He is one of the most solidified backups in the NFL, as he saw starting time last season. Look for him to work with both the first and second teams here, another huge boost for this number.

Some trends to note. Steelers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. Steelers are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Lets grab the points here. That hook at 3.5 is too valuable to pass up on.

New Orleans +3

We've got NFL Preseason action here on Thursday and the Saints have some value to work with grabbing the points here.

The Browns have been the joke of the league and despite once again with high hopes, they have never really been a good preseason team. Cleveland struggled all throughout the preseason last year and they are worth fading here.

Brock Osweiler steps into the Browns gauntlet as he was dealt this past offseason to Cleveland. While he wasn't expected to stick around, he was given the nod for the preseason opener here. He'll have a ton of pressure on him with this first game being at home, something he hasn't been able to adapt to over the past year.

Some trends to note. Browns are 5-20-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall. Browns are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games on grass. Browns are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games.

The Saints starters will see some reps here and the Browns have consistently been known to find new ways to lose, whether it preseason or regular season.

Thursday 7* NFLX ATS Play

Arizona +1

The Cardinals and Texans play in Week 3 preseason action here and the Over has solid value. 

Arizona saw their offense look rather weak through the first two games of the preseason and with this being a very important week, the Cardinals first team will get a lot of time here. 

The coaching staff and even the front office stepped in saying the team can't just go into the season and expect things to all fall into place. There seems to be a lot of question marks after seeing what unfolded the first two games, making the staff really want production here in this game. 

QB Carson Palmer went 4 of 8 last game and managed to throw an interception in the short time he was in the contest. Palmer will likely play a lot of the first quarter and with the way the concerns were raised, he may even get a lot of time into the 2nd. 

Some trends to note. Cardinals are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 road games.

With how Arizona is treating this game, look for a lot of urgency here. Expect them to come out with a little bit of fire, which is all you need in a preseason game.

Sunday 7* NFLX ATS Play

Denver Broncos -5

The Broncos and Rams play in the all important third game of the preseason, where starters get more time on the field. 

When it comes to Denver, this is also a huge game for the QB battle. The Broncos have used both Mark Sanchez and Trevor Siemian this preseason, as they battle it out for the number one spot. 

This game, they'll get their starting receivers and running backs for much longer, giving them both a chance to really take a step forward in the battle. 

The Broncos have split their first two preseason games, but have showed very good signs on the offensive end. You're going to get both QBs top games and have them taking shots down the field. Denver will open the playbook a bit here and really start putting these QBs in situations where they have to perform. That bodes well for them against the number here.

Some trends to note. Rams are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. Rams are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games.

Expect Denver to really get the better of the two teams here. It means a whole lot more to them, especially with that QB battle going on.

Saturday 7* NFLX ATS Play

Miami Dolphins +2.5

The Dolphins head into Dallas on Friday night and the visitors are worth a move here at +2.5.

The one thing the Dolphins have is depth. While we won't see a majority of their starters for long, if not at all, they have plenty of reserves that have talent. 

We'll get a look at QBs Matt Moore and Brandon Doughty, two guys who are competing for the backup job and that have a lot of talent. 

Moore went 10/14 last week for 122 yards and a touchdown while Doughty added 66 yards on 7 of 9 passing. Both have plenty of potential and we'll see that here. 

As for Dallas, they spoiled the Rams opening game in LA, but their main focus is to simply stay healthy. The Cowboys were an extremely injured team last year, which led to their last place finish. Expect them to be very cautious here in the preseason with their top players as we won't see much of them. 

Some trends to note. Cowboys are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 games on field turf. Cowboys are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall.

The Cowboys are not good in preseason play and that comes from not playing their players. This is a nice spot to back Miami here with the points.

Friday 7* NFLX ATS Play

LA Rams -5

The Rams open a new era of football on Saturday night when they play their preseason opener in Los Angeles. 

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher won't be taking this preseason lightly. He knows he must get this team going early as his name is first on the hot seat. After 4 straight losing seasons, he becomes the first coach to keep his job. 

These are just two teams who have different agendas this preseason. After a debacle of injuries last year, the Cowboys want to simply stay healthy this preseason. In fact, that's been the common theme for them over the years. Dallas lost their first 2 preseason games last year 40-13. 

LA on the other hand, will have Jared Goff seeing NFL action for the first time. This means Goff will see a lot of playing time as he needs to get as much work in. That means good news here, knowing the Rams will send out a guy who needs to show some stride. 

Some trends to note. Cowboys are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. NFC. Cowboys are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall.

The Cowboys don't need to show anything here. The anticipation is high for the city of Los Angeles and with Goff taking the ball, this is a nice spot for the Rams to want this a lot more.

Saturday 7* NFLX ATS Play

Denver Broncos +1.5

The Broncos and Bears kick their preseason off on Thursday night and Denver holds the value here at +1.5. 

The defending champs have a lot of work to do this preseason as they lost both their QBs in the offseason. 

Their first released depth chart showed that both Mark Sanchez and Trevor Siemian are co number 1 QBs. While this is quite unorthodox, this is where the value comes in here. Both QBs are fighting for the starting job and not only will they see significant playing time this preseason, but both will really be on their top game. 

As for the Bears, they have things set and stone and could be in for a big season. Their main concern is health though. They come into this one a bit banged up at some key spots, so not only will they try to keep their first team healthy by not playing them long, but they will also be playing with a lot of backups from the start. 

Some trends to note. Broncos are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Thursday games.

With the QB situation in Denver, this is a very solid spot to expect both QBs to get significant time and really be on their top game. With that, the Broncos on the road here are the move.

Thursday 7* NFLX ATS Play

Jacksonville Jaguars ATS

The Jaguars offer a solid price as they welcome in the Detroit Lions for Week 3 preseason action Friday night. RB TJ Yeldon and some of the starters are expected to get extended time here on Friday.

RB TJ Yeldon, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2015 NFL Draft, has missed the first two games of the preseason with a finger injury. Yeldon will be playing with extra motivation Friday as this will not only be his first NFL action, but he is also fighting for that #1 spot on the depth chart.

QB Blake Bortles is also expected to get some extra playing time as he tries to develop some chemistry with Yeldon.

The Jaguars have been no slouch offensively either this preseason. They've scored 23 and 22 points in their first 2 preseason outings.

Detroit will also be very thin defensively. Ziggy Ansah, Jason Jones, Haloti Ngata, and Caraun Reid are all expected to be OUT of Friday's contest.

With that, Jacksonville's starters should have a lot more time on the field and should make a much better impact on Friday. At this low of a spread, all the value lies with Jacksonville.

Friday 7* NFLX ATS Play

Rams vs. Titans Over

Preseason action gives us the St. Louis Rams and Tennessee Titans doing battle Sunday night. 

With the game slated to be shown nationally on FOX, both teams will be sure to put on a solid performance.

The Titans QB duo of Marcus Mariota and Zach Mettenberger offer a solid combination that should get a lot of playing time. Mariota struggled early, but stepped up in his final drive of the game during week 1 of the preseason schedule. Mettenberger stepped in and performed at a very high level as he threw for 2 touchdowns.

With these two being so young, head coach Jeff Fisher wants to make sure they are ready by the start of the regular season. With that, it's expected Mariota gets a majority of the first half, while Mettenberger gets a majority of the 2nd half.

The Rams scored only 3 points week 1 and will look to get Nick Foles much more playing time. Foles struggled in his 2 drives last week, but has began to adapt to the idea of playing with a slower offense.

Both teams also have defenses that are banged up, which will offer the offenses easier chances to look down field.

The starters will be playing a majority of the game for both sides, but especially the Titans as far as the QB situation is concerned. This gives us a solid chance to expect a lot of points in this game.

Sunday 7* NFL Total Play

New York Jets -1

The Jets return home for their 2nd preseason game of the season and are in a solid bounce back start after dropping their opener. The Jets were beat 23-3 in their opener, but midst all the drama and controversy, they have put that all behind them and are ready to focus on the season. 

The Jets come in much more prepared as QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and the first team offense are expected to play the majority of the first half. The window has opened up for Fitzpatrick following the Smith problems, which means we will get his A game going forward tonight. 

The Falcons defense is also very vulnerable. They allowed 24 points in week 1 to the Titans and have many injuries to deal with on both sides of the ball. 

They have 3 running backs competing for the #1 spot on the depth chart, which means they won't have a consistent back all game as all three will be rotating. That will wear on them as the game goes on for sure. 

With the Jets at home and all the drama pushed aside, expect Fitzpatrick to have a big game.

Bills/Browns Under

With an opening number this high, the Under offers a lot of value in the Buffalo-Cleveland preseason matchup Thursday night. 

Rex Ryan and the Bills choked away a late lead in their 1st preseason game as they try to figure out their offensive scheme for the season. Both Ryan and the Bills offense are trying to work with one another to fit into each other's systems. The Browns did something somewhat similar as they raced out to an early lead, but failed to hold onto it. 

The key here is both teams are highly involved in position battles, which means we won't have a consistent dosage of players throughout this game. The main spot here is at the QB position. Both the Bills and Browns have 2 potential QBs on their depth chart that are fighting for the top spot and both are seeing playing time. 

Both teams struggle to move the ball on a regular basis and will have an even harder time with starters and reserves mixing in and out on every play. 

-Cleveland is 5-0 UNDER in their last 5 games. 

Expect some sloppy play along with some nerves as all the QBs in this game will be trying to prove they belong at the top of the depth chart.
