We’re on the Fever here, as they look for their first win of the season on the road in Seattle. Indiana played their best game last time out that saw them fall just short by 4 as they continue to lean on Caitlin Clark. It took her a few games, but she has found her footing in the WNBA and now this will be a good game for her to step up and give Indiana another chance at grabbing their first win. She put up 17 in the loss to Connecticut last time out and shot the ball much better. If she can put up another performance like that, its going really see the supporting cast on this Fever side step up. They had 5 players score in double figures last game and Seattle is a nice step down in competition for them. The Storm are just 1-3 and haven’t looked good at all really this season. Indiana will find a lot of success offensively and this is a nice spot for them to have a chance to win this game even outright. Grab the points still as this one could come down to the wire. 

Wednesday 7* WNBA ATS Play

Liberty +4.5

Game 1 of the WNBA Finals pins the two best teams.

It was always going to be New York and Vegas in this spot. These two teams went at each other constantly in the regular season and now they meet with everything on the line.

The Liberty were the only team really to cause so many issues for Vegas. Breanna Stewart causes a lot of problems and she comes in red hot this postseason. She has put up 23 points per game and is averaging over 9 rebounds. This is the kind of game they can steal on the road. They’ve shown no issues with going up against Vegas’ attack and they can match the intensity.

If this game is played in the 70-80s, it means it will be played at the Liberty’s pace and give them the full advantage.

Sunday 9* WNBA ATS Play

Las Vegas -6

We’re on Vegas here, on the road in Game 3.

The Aces were tested twice by Dallas, but prevailed both times to take a 2-0 series lead. Dallas had their chance to put this team on the ropes, but failed to steal one of the games. Now with their backs against the wall, this spells a lot of trouble for them. 

Vegas is just too powerful for this Dallas side. They play with such a quick pace and their ability to attack the rim is the key. They can get in the paint and wear teams down, which opens up plenty of shooting lanes.

We’re backing Vegas here as they have all the momentum right now. 

They’re playing at a top level and it hasn’t bothered them playing on the road at all here this season.

With the pressure on Dallas, an early Vegas lead can cause a lot of issues.

New York Liberty -4

We’re on the Liberty here, as they look to gain home court back.

New York was throttled in game 1 at home, but responded in a big way as they made sure to even things up before heading into this road contest. 

Courtney Vandersloot led the way with 19 points as she continued to step up in big spots. 

This is another opportunity for her to take the reins. 

The Liberty are the better team on both sides of the ball. Their ability to control the tempo and turn defense into offense is one of the best in the league. 

Expect them to come out with some high intensity pressure, forcing turnovers and getting some easy transition buckets.

Chicago Sky

Game 1 of the WNBA playoffs pins Chicago and Las Vegas against one another.

We’re on Chicago here as they go up against the top team in the league. 

The Sky aren’t a bad team overall. They’ve even give Vegas a game or two this season and come in with a ton of momentum right now. They’ve won 3 straight games and are feeling good here on both sides of the ball. Their ability to attack the rim and also put the pressure on defensively has been the biggest key.

Chicago can keep this close as Vegas had their hands full in this matchup all season. 

Look for the Sky to try and slow things down, taking the Aces out of rhythm.

We’re on Atlanta here as they take on Seattle in the WNBA. 

Seattle comes in after just getting throttled by Vegas, 103-77. They’ve been a struggle against physical opponents and Atlanta is one that can cause them a lot of fits.

We’re backing Atlanta, who is off an overtime loss and looking to bounce back. They average 82.2 points per game and have shown signs where they can get teams off balanced. They’ll push the tempo and really attack the paint, which is where they have the edge in this one.

Look for Atlanta to come out with a purpose and some fire in this one, as they know they need to get off to a hot start here.

This is a fade on the Fever. Indiana comes in after losing to Dallas by 10 last time out, as they gave up 110 points in the loss. They have been one of the worst on the defensive side of things and they come in with very little confidence.
