Nottingham Forest had a really good year last season finishing in 7th. But, it hasn't been the same in 2025.

It's in 16th place and doesn't look to be a team to make it back to a european contest for next year.

But, it's in much better form now, beating Leeds, Liverpool, Malmo and Wolves over it's L5 games.

Everton is also in pretty good form of play but allowed four goals in it's last home game.

FC Nantes has a former Lyon goalie and he should want to prove himself against his old team.

Over it's L4 road games, it's won one and drew in three of them.

Nantes isn't too bad on defense even how far it is down in the standings.

Lyon hasn't won a game by more than a single goal in more than five games.

It's going to have a hard time winning this game by more than a goal today.

Our selection is on Como 1907 to defeat Sassuolo on Friday afternoon at 2:45pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Sassuolo has been a bit inconsistent over the L3 games, winning once, losing once, and drawing once.

It's had five losses through 12 games this season, but has evened it out with five wins as well.

Como is terrific at home though as it's got an undefeated record on home soil this season.

Como is slightly above Sassuolo in the standings and are off it's largest victory margin of the year.

It beat 12th ranked Torino away from home by a score of 5-1. Nico Paz should help lead Como to another win.

Ferencvaros has not been as good as last season within the Hungarian soccer league.

It lost it's latest match by a score of three goals to one at home on the weekend.

Fenerbahce hasn't lost a game yet in the Turkish Super Lig, winning nine and drawing just four.

It's scored nine goals over it's L2 games and this might be the best form that it's been in all year long.

Bayern Munich allowed two goals against Freiburg last weekend, both two set pieces which is a bit scary.

But, the German leaders still very much crushed that game winning 6-2.

Bayern will be on the road today, but have a 33 goal difference in just 11 Bundesliga games this year and an 11 goal difference in just four UCL games -- best in both.

Arsenal looked really good against Tottenham and saw Eze score a hat trick.

But, the Gunners will be without Gabriel again and that's going to prove costly against the team in the most form.

Our selection is on Scotland to defeat Greece in World Cup Qualifying on Saturday at 2:45pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Scotland has been heating up and it needs a win here to put the pressure on Denmark for the top spot in the group.

It's 3-1-0 in four games in qualifying and we don't think that it will lose to the team that it beat 3-1 earlier.

Greece has been pretty bad so far, with one win in four games and three losses.

Even though Greece is at home today, it's pretty much got nothing to play for and no hope.

Our selection is on AS Monaco to defeat Paris FC in Ligue 1 on Saturday at 2:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Paris FC somehow managed to score three second half goals on Wednesday and draw against Lyon (after being down 3-0.)

That comeback took a lot of energy and that game was very recent and will have it slower for this game.

Paris is below the middle of the table, with a result in half of it's games this season and just two wins.

Monaco is 2nd in Ligue 1 right now and has six wins in 10 games. That's a great track record expecially being 4-1-0 at home.

It's scored a lot of goals this year and has more than PSG, the team in first place by a point.

We're on Monaco and we think that it wins by lots today.

Our selection is on Borussia Dortmund to defeat FC Augsburg on Friday at 3:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Borussia Dortmund survived a shootout in it's last game in the DFB-Pokal tournament. It won it's last Bundesliga game as well.

Dortmund is just two points outside of the top two in the division and a win here would send them ahead of both Stuttgart and Leipzig for that very spot.

It needs to win this game to have lots of momentum going into the Champions League game against Man City next week.

FC Augsburg won both matches against BVB last season. But, we don't think that the same will happen this year.

It's 2-1-5 this season and has been horrible on defense, as it's given up more than two goals a game to it's opponents.

Fiorentina is really having trouble in Serie A this season with no wins through eight games.

But, it's played really well in the Conference League so far and has started to score goals in Serie A.

Over it's L5 games including all of it's competitions, it's scored nine goals.

Inter Milan has been solid this year but would like to improve a lot from being just 4th right now.

Today is a good game to restore what's theres after the 3-1 loss against Napoli in the last game.

Newcastle looked great against Benfica on Tuesday winning 3-0 in the Champions League.

The Mud Pies aren't playing as well in the Premier League, and definitely not as good as last season. But, they should have the confidence to win at home at St. James' Park again.

Their only two wins of the EPL season come here at this park and they have a 50% win rate so far which isn't awful.

Fulham has lost 75% of it's road matches in the Premier League with a 0-1-3 record so far.

They will be looking to keep this game close, searching to keep in the top half of the standings through this weekend.

Werder Bremen has seen really mixed results this season and had a draw against a really bad Heidenheim team in it's last game.

We think that this game could be a draw or even a slight upset for the road team.

Fiorentina travel across the Italian border on Thursday to take on the side from the Austrian capital -- Rapid Wien (Vienna.)

It's not found much success in the Serie A this season, winless in seven games.

That is not exactly good news for selecting 'La Viola' today. But, it's hard to ignore it's results in Conference League games. That includes qualifying. Fiorentina has been extremely good.

Rapid Vienna are third in the Austrian Bundesliga at the moment, losers of four games in a row though.

We think that the Serie A team should beat the team from the Austrian Bundesliga on Thursday when it matters most.

Liverpool is definitely in a rut -- losers of four games in a row including a Champions League game too.

The Reds have to get back on track and this is the game to do so as the sizeable favorite again.

They are way too good of a team to be losing five games in a row at this point in the season.

Eintracht Frankfurt has also been in bad form, losing two of the last three and drawing the other.

Over those games, it's been outscored 10 goals to three.

Atletico Madrid will be the underdogs on the road on Tuesday against Arsenal. It could definitely manage a draw at least here though.

The team from Spain has had just one defeat in nine games in La Liga so far this season and is great defensively.

It's seen two or less goals in three games in a row, all in October.

Arsenal hasn't been anything special in attack either. It's led by it's stellar defensive minded game and possession based tactics.

The Gunners have not conceded in three straight games and haven't scored more than two in seven consecutive games.

We think a 0-0, 1-0, 1-1 score is going to be final score today.

Azerbaijan might be at the bottom of the group without much to work with. But, it's actually a better team that the oddsmakers are giving it credit for.

In it's last match, it drew against Ukraine 1-1.

Azerbaijan are the healthier of the two teams and will defend for most of the game. We think it can shut the door for lots of it.

France won't have Aurelien Tchouameni, Bradley Barcola, Marcus Thuram or Ousmane Dembele in this game. All big blows.

It's still by far the favorite. But, scoing goals might be harder to find without the great wing play and holding play.

Olympiacos has been really good within it's own league inside of Greece this season.

But, 'Thrylos' did not perform too well in it's first Champions League game, tying Pafos who had a red card for almost three quarters of the match.

That game was at home and now Olympiacos has to go on the road against one of the best defensive soccer teams in the world.

Arsenal is amazing at home, as most of the top teams are. It's lost just six times over the L3 years in the EPL at home (not including this year.)

Arsenal will look to open up this game and get it's offensively players going instead of having to rely on the midfield and defense to bail it out.

We think that will happen today and Arsenal will win big.

Our selection is on AFC Bournemouth to defeat Leeds United on Saturday at 10:00am ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Bournemouth has been eliminated from the EFL Cup, but has done really well in the Premier League so far this season.

It's in fourth place of the EPL standings right now and has lost just one of it's five games, winning three of them.

Bournemouth won the last game between these two teams by a score of 4-1 in 2023.

Leeds got promoted from the English Championship last season to play in the EPL this season and has actually done a decent job so far (2-1-2.)

But, Leeds are not scoring too much and if Bournemouth gets even a goal, we find it hard to see Leeds matching it, yet alone winning the game.

Marseille is off back-to-back really difficult games. Losing to Real Madrid in the UCL and defeating PSG in the Ligue 1.

With a less formidable opponent in this game, it might let off the gas a bit and not know what's coming.

Strasbourg has won four of their five league games this season and are ahead of Marseille in the standings.

'Le Racing' have played in a lot of close games, but that's okay as we're getting + half a goal in this game.

They are at home today and this should be a good spot to maybe seal an upset.

We all remember how any high scoring games Barcelona played in last season.

Newcastle can also score, even though it lost it's best player from last season (Isak.)

Nashville bounced back last weekend with a 5-1 win after losing in the game before hand.

Nashville wants to win this one badly after drawing the first matchup between these teams in May.

Atlanta is in second last in the East, and has allowed 49 goals in 27 games this year.

Rangers hasn't won yet in the Scottish Premiership, drawing all three of it's matches.

It's going to consider that as a really slow start. given it came second the league last year.

Club Brugge has won five games in a row since the third round of the qualifying stage of the UCL.

The Belgian side has played really well on defense and we don't see it allowing any goals today.

Strasbourg finished 7th in the Ligue 1 last year which was good enough for a Europa Conference League qualifying big.

Nantes was all the way down in 13th place last year and had a 3-6-8 record on the road.

It lost to PSG in the opening game of the year and has a very hard schedule with this one up next.

San Diego is the top team in the Western Conference. Everyone is trying to catch it.

It's won back-to-back games in the MLS, and three in a row if you count the last Leagues Cup game.

SD has scored 17 more goals than the Timbers and have allowed four less in one more game.

Portland has lost both of it's games since the Leagues Cup and has allowed five goals in those games.

The Timbers do have a decent attack at times, but San Diego has more of it and is at home tonight.

Burnley got promoted this offseason from the Championship to the Premier League.

Last year in the Championship, Burnley allowed just 16 goals in 46 games -- that's just 0.35 goals allowed every game.

It did lose it's goalie. But, it should be able to keep the defensive shape and make it hard for Spurs to get any sort of attack going today.

Tottenham is off a really bad PL season where it finished one spot ahead of the relegation line.

It did manage to win the Europa League though so it's still going to play in the Champions League this year.

We think that since it's the first game, these teams will find it harder to score. The UNDER is the play.

Steaua Bucuresti won the first game between these two teams 3-2.

On the road in this leg, it's going to have to bring it's A-Game in today's game.

FCSB out shot Drita by 10 in the first leg. We think that it'll win bigger than the first game.

Drita is not in a great league when playing normally (inside Kosovo.) It doesn't play too many good teams.

It's lost three matches in a row now, all in the UEFA Europa League Qualifying campaign.

Benfica won leg one of this Qualifying Draw 2-0. We think that it'll win leg two as well.

It's had a busy summer, playing in the Fifa ~ Club World Cup and beating Bayern Munich. This team will do great things this year.

'The Eagles' had six shots on goal in the first game. Four more than the team from France.

Nice, like all of the teams in Europe has had some preseason games this summer.

It had mixed results, winning some and losing too (against FC St. Pauli.)

Our selection is on Inter Miami to cover the goal line against the Orlando City SC on Sunday at 8:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Inter Miami has the best player (we think) to ever play the game -- Lionel Messi.

If it played as many games as the rest of the teams, Miami would have the most goals by a lot in the MLS this season (has the second most right now.)

Miami has won or tied in five games in a row. That includes the Leagues Cup that just happened.

Orlando City SC is below Miami in the standings and has played three more games this year.

It also played really well in the Leagues Cup. But, it's tied or lost in 14 of it's 25 games this season in the MLS.

We think that Miami can get at least a draw out of today's game, playing with revenge.

San Diego is in first place in the Western Conference of the MLS through 25 games.

The Californian team finished off the Leagues Cup with a win over Mazatlan. That will boost it's spirits coming back to the MLS games.

SD has a +16 goal difference this season, while KC has a -9 goal difference.

Sporting Kansas City has lost half of it's games in the MLS this year, and has lost two of it's L3 games.

It's last game, KC lost 3-0 against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

If San Diego wants to finish the regular season in 1st, it's got to win these games.

It's allowed zero goals in two of it's five games of this tournament so far defensively itself.

Fluminense has allowed just three goals over it's five games in this tournament -- scored just eight itself.

Chelsea finished 4th in the Premier League but had a hard time at times with some of the worse teams.

It's going to need to be at it's best -- but we think that the most probable outcome is a draw after regulation.

It's currently in the middle of it's season and will have to play a lot more games than it's used to in a short period of time.

We think that Dortmund's prepared well coming in and will win it's first Club World Cup game.

We don't think that Real Madrid played too badly against Arsenal in the first leg. It took two wonder strikes from Declan Rice to give the Gunners more motivation to get a third.

Real Madrid will be back at home for the second leg and it should be able to at least get one goal back and avoid humiliation.

It's 5-1 so far playing at the Bernabeu in the Champions League.

Arsenal did what it needed to do. But, it won't think that the job is done quite yet.

We believe that the Gunners will play more compact and defensive in this game, leaving them less opportunities to pad onto the lead.

Real Madrid will have its chance and we think that it gets at least one goal back on the aggregate score.

It now comes back home and faces the worst team in the Premier League. We think that this game will be exactly what Liverpool needs.

Liverpool has beaten Southampton in 14 of the L15 games between them.

We know that this line is -2.5. But, we also think that Liverpool could go three up in a single half.

Southampton has lost four games in a row (includes FA Cup match) and has been outscored 12-1 in those four games.

Its L2 games, both of them were 4-0 defeats.

FC St. Pauli is in 15th in the Bundesliga and has won just six games in 23 tries this season -- scoring 18 goals.

If St. Pauli cannot score, that's going to be a huge problem against a terrific Dortmund goalscoring team.

We like A.F.C. Bournemouth to defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday at 10:00am ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Bournemouth is in 5th place in the Premier League right now just one point behind Manchester City for a spot in the Champions League of next season.

The Cherries are playing great right now and have looked terrific all season long.

They are on a 6-1-1 run currently and that includes seven games in the EPL and one FA Cup game.

Wolves are 17th out of 20 teams in the Premier League and trying to stay out of the relegation zone. (bottom three teams.)

Even though Wolverhampton is playing pretty well right now, it will have trouble playing this game at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth.

The home team is the right play here.

It hasn't scored in back-to-back games now and we are expecting Venezia to be held without a goal again today.

Down 4-1 on aggregate, Galatasaray needs to score and score often in this afternoon's game.

In Turkey, Galatasaray has been straight up extraordinary. It's won 20 of 23 games and tied the rest.

It should be able to get back into this contest and we believe that it will.

AZ Alkmaar was quite lucky seeing a red card from Gala in the 51st minute of the opening game.

It proceeded to score two more goals which really shakes things up.

Playing at home, we think that Galatasaray win by at least one today and probably even more.

Monaco is going to do whatever it can to win this game, and we think that even if it can't get this game past regulation time, it will at least find a draw (meaningless for Monaco.)

Benfica has beaten Monaco twice now already in the Champions League. But, there's been a red card shown in both of those games.

Benfica will not have Angel Di Maria and Tomas Araujo for this game after they both got injured in the first game.

We talked about Celta De Vigo being drawless/winless in seven straight games against Atletico. Well, it's been 12 games in a row without a win.

Atletico Madrid is the right play.

Everton is off a 2-2 draw against Liverpool midweek. But, it's actually been playing very good defense this season.

With how it sits in 15th place, Everton has allowed just 30 goals through 24 games in the EPL this year.

Crystal Palace has been playing ruthless defense over this last month now.

Over its L6 games in the FA Cup/EPL, it's allowed just two total goals.

Both teams should be content with how they've been playing recently and will be happy even if a 0-0 or 1-1 game happens.

The UNDER is the right play.

Bournemouth is scoring a lot of goals right now. Its scored 18 goals over its L6 games even with scoring 0 against Liverpool.

The Cherries are trying to climb the standings even more and get involved in the race to get to Europe.

They've also given up 28 goals in 24 games this season. That means Southampton could get one.

Southampton won its last EPL game 2-1 against Ipwhich. It's allowed 15 goals over its L5 EPL games though.

The Saints are in last in the Premier League and will be trying to avoid a 20th defeat. It will be difficult as they've given up more than two goals a game this season.

Bochum hasn't won a single game in a month.

Its lost back-to-back games against Dortmund and its been six straight games without a win for it in games between these two teams.

Dortmund is the right play.

We like Fenerbahce to defeat Anderlecht on Thursday at 12:45pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Fenerbahce has won back-to-back games now and have scored seven goals and allowed none overall.

The side from Turkey didn't have the most compelling group stage, getting in last. But, should be able to win at home.

Fenerbahce is 9-0-1 when playing at home this season (Turkish Super Lig only.)

Anderlecht is the 4th best team in Belgium this season and has seven total loses domestically.

Internationally, it should find it even harder to capture wins.

We think that Fenerbahce win at home in leg-one.

Les Rouge et Blanc are the fourth best team in France so far this season -- Benfica is 2nd in Portugal.

We think that Benfica can get at least a draw out of this game.

On the road, it has just two wins in 12 games. Six losses over those games. 

Genk is the top team in Belgium and will prove it again on Saturday.

We like Bayer Leverkusen to defeat Hoffenheim on Sunday at 11:30am ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Bayer Leverkusen has some work to do if it wants to catch Bayern Munich for top spot in Germany.

Leverkusen beat Sparta Prague 2-0 on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League. Now, this should be another effortless win for last seasons champs.

Hoffenheim did win against Anderlecht in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, but conceded three goals in the meantime.

Hoffenheim's last game against a strong opponent away from home was a 5-0 loss to Bayern Munich.

Bayer Leverkusen will win today by more than the spread here.

We like Mallorca @ Atletico Madrid to finish UNDER the total on Saturday at 12:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Atletico Madrid is the best team in the league defensively.

In fact, it has allowed just 14 goals this season through 21 games which is .67 goals allowed a game.

Atletico has seen three straight La Liga games finish with two goals or less.

In seventh, Mallorca is averaging less than a goal a game this season itself.

That's really surprising in the top half of the league.

It combined for a slight bit over two goals a game with its opponents.

This game will stay UNDER the total on Saturday.

Manchester United hasn't lost yet in the Europa League, but its been playing very close games. 

Man U has allowed nine goals through seven games so far in this competition. 

The Red Devils have also seen 60 total goals combined with their opponents in 23 games in the EPL this season -- 2.6 a game. 

Bucuresti has been quite good in the Europa League too, scoring 10 goals and allowing seven in seven games. 

We think both teams score today and it goes OVER this 2.5 goal total.

We like the Liverpool FC @ PSV Eindhoven game to finish UNDER the total on Wednesday at 3:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Liverpool can score a lot, but should be focussed more on not conceding today to finish on top of the standings of the Champions League opening round.

The Reds have allowed just four goals over their L6 games this season.

They have also seen three goals or fewer in three of their L4 games.

PSV is in a great position right now. It's already qualified to the next round as well.

PSV Eindhoven find it quite easy to score in Netherlands, but this is the most difficult match that its had all season long.

Both teams like to score, but we think that anything more than three goals is great towards the UNDER.

This one gets three goals or less.

We like Aston Villa to defeat West Ham on Sunday at 11:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Aston Villa has not had the same season as last year, but has team been very good this season.

Villa is back at home on Sunday after three games on the road. It has won back-to-back home games this season.

The Villans are well ahead of their foes today, leading them by 10 points in the EPL table.

West Ham is not in great form. Its lost four of its last five games, including an FA Cup game against Aston Villa two weeks ago.

West Ham is allowing the fifth most goals out of any team in the Premier League this season (43 in 26 games.)

We think Villa wins this one at home easily.

We like Atletico de Madrid to defeat Villarreal on Saturday at 10:15am ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Atletico Madrid did not have its best game last weekend in a loss to Leganes.

Los Colchoneros turned it around by beating Bayer Leverkusen mid week.

That makes seven wins in a row at the Metropolitano in Madrid for Atletico.

Villarreal looked good on Monday against Mallorca. But, its lost three of its L4 games played away from home.

Villarreal is also conceding a lot of goals this season. Its given up 31 goals, which is the 6th most in La Liga.

Atletico wins its second straight game on Saturday at home.

We like Vfb Stuttgart to defeat FSV Mainz 05 on Saturday at 9:30am ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Stuttgart is one of the hottest teams in German soccer right now with four straight wins.

Possibly better than that, Stuttgart has eight wins over their L9 games overall.

It's also found a result in five straight games played away from home.

FSV Mainz has lost back-to-back matches against Leverkusen and Union Berlin.

Nine games in a row between these two teams have gone in favor of Stuttgart or a draw.

We think Stuttgart wins this one too, but are pleased to get a push with a draw today.

We like Pfc Ludogorets Razgrad to defeat Fc Midtjylland on Thursday at 3:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Ludogorets is leading the Bulgarian First League right now, with 17 wins, two draws and no loses this season.

Yes, the Eagles haven't won yet in the Europa League. But, they've come close and are at home today.

Midtjylland is 2nd in the Danish Superliga with four loses in its league.

The Wolves have won a couple of games in this competition, but play much, much worse on the road.

They are 3-3-3 on the road in their league this season, and 1-0-5 over their L6 across each competition.

A win is needed here for Ludogorets against one of the weakest teams and with time winding down, this would be great to get back into the middle of the pack and avoid elimination.

Villa performed very well in its last game against Arsenal drawing 2-2.

It's seen at least three goals in eight of its L9 games in all competitions this season.

AS Monaco isn't in the best of form right now.

Being at home could see them finding the back of the net even a couple of times though.

We think that both teams score and at least one of these teams find the back of the net twice on Tuesday.

Lazio is near the top of the Serie A standings this year and have locked down defensively lately.

Three straight games of Lazio have finished UNDER the 2.5 goal line.

Hellas Verona is near the bottom of the Serie A, and have a hard time scoring the ball.

The Yellow and Blues have failed to score a single goal in back-to-back games.

Four of the L5 games between these two teams have stayed UNDER the 2.5 goal line.

We think this one stays UNDER that line as well.

We like Vfb Stuttgart to defeat SC Freiburg on Saturday at 9:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Stuttgart is 5th in the Bundesliga right now and has won back-to-back games.

The home team is also 5-2-2 playing in Stuttgart this year.

Freiburg is 8th in the Bundesliga and are not the best team when playing away from home.

In fact, the Breisgau-Brazilians are just 2-2-4 on the road this season.

Stuttgart will be extra hungry for this win to revenge its loss to Freiburg in Augus.t

We like Werder Bremen to defeat Heidenheim on Wednesday at 2:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Werder Bremen is right in the thick of the mix right now. A win here would be huge to bump up in the standings.

The River Islanders have four wins over their L5 matches played in all competitions.

They are also looking for revenge after losing to Heidenheim last season both times.

Heidenheim are in a relegation playoff spot right now. A loss here could be very costly.

The away side has lost six of its eight games played on the road this season.

We think that Werder Bremen get it done at home.
