8* UNDER Albania/Italy (TOTAL BLOWOUT)

This is a great situational play in our opinion. Italy absolutely needs to win this game, being in such a tough group with Spain and Croatia up next, but after going up early, we're expecting the favorites to protect their lead. The Italians will have to save some gas and not show their entire hand to their opponents here vs. this weaker opponent and that's exactly what we're expecting. Luciana Spalletti was brought in to take this team to the next level, but to do that they're going to have to play this tournament wisely. In our opinion, this one screams "under" as far as the total is concerned!

10* Germany (FIRST HALF. If you can't get German in the FIRST HALF, then we also like GERMANY on the spread option, -1.5.)

Steve Clarke's side is completely overmatched by the hosts and we're expecting the Germans to get out to a quick start here, ready to send an early message not only to overmatched Scotland, but also the rest of the field. It's the first time that Germany has hosted the Euro since 2004 when they reached the semi-finals. Germany has struggled in recent years, but the host side is given a "cream puff" here in the opener. Scotland finished 2nd in its qualifying group, but it was just 1-2 down the stretch. Scotland is dealing with injuries and the weight of expectations are now fully on Germany and its stars, including Florian Wirtz. Germany has won the last three in regulation in thi series, including winning home and away in qualifying for Euro 2016. The play is GERMANY FIRST HALF.

10* Minnesota (MLS WEST-CONF GOM)

We feel that Minnesota could/should in fact be a much larger fav in this spot. We bet dogs, we bet totals, and we are also never afraid to lay chalk, especially when we feel that our "play on" side should/could be a much bigger favorite, and that's the case for this pick for sure. FC Dallas is off back-to-back road losses and sits just 3-8 overall. With a much more "winnable" game finally at home next weekend vs. St. Louis, everything points to the visitors getting caught "looking ahead." Minnesota United FC is 8-3, and one weekend after falling 3-0 at LAFC, it bounced back with a convincing 3-1 home win over Sportking KC last weekend. With two tough road games at Seattle and Dallas respectively after this, we say the home side makes the most of this moment; lay the price, the play is indeed on Minnesota!

10* OVER Montreal/Philly (EAST-CONF TOY)

Both teams have been involved in several lower-scoring games of late, but we anticipate those trends to end here this weekend in Philadelphia between hungry Eastern Conference opponents, who we expect will really push the offensive pace from start to finish. Philly is 4-4 after back-to-back scoreless draws. Previos to that it was a 3-0 win at New England. But clearly Philly can't be happy with its offense of late. Montreal fans can empathize. The team is 4-7, and one weekend of after drawing 0-0 with Nashville though, the visiting side then erupted for the 4-2 home win over Nashville last week. We're expecting a similar pace now here in Philly, where we do indeed expect this total to fly "over" the number sooner, rather than later!

10* New York Red Bulls (EAST-CONF GOM)

We expect New York to win this game handily in regulation, making this a price in which we have no issues laying whatsoever. We bet dogs, we bet totals, and we're also not afraid whatsoever to pull the trigger on chalk, ESPECIALLY when we think/feel that our "play on" side should/could in fact be a much larger favorite. And that's the case here. Orlando City SC is 4-6 and despite a 1-1 draw at 2-8 Chicago last weekend, we think it's in over its head here. New York drew 1-1 at OCSC back in March, but now the Red Bulls enter at 7-3 and having won three of their last four in regulation, including last time out with a convincing 3-1 effort over Charlotte here. With a much tougher game at New England next weekend, we say that Red Bulls make the most of this matchup on Saturday night; lay the price, the play is New York!

10* UNDER Portland/Austin (MLS WEST-CONF TOY)

These teams have been involved in some higher-scoring affairs, but we're expecting a lower-scoring defensive battle here. Portland was our MLS Western Conference GAME OF THE YEAR just this past weekend, and the Timbers did pull out the 2-1 home win over Sporting KC. Now on the road, we feel Portland will struggle to put up the same amount of offense here. The Timbers fell 2-1 at Minnesota previously. Austin FC is off the 1-1 draw at San Jose, and beat Sporting KC at home 3-2 previous to that. We anticipate a much tighter, and lower-scoring "war of attrition" here this time though, similar to their game vs. the Earthquakes last week. This number is a little high, the play is the UNDER.

10* Portland (MLS WEST-CONF GOY)

Sporting KC is just 2-6. It had its chance to beat the Timbers at home, but came up short in the 3-3 draw. KC has gone winless since that draw and actually comes in on terrible form, having lost four straight outright. That includes a 3-2 loss at Austin FC last time out. The Timbers are only 3-7, but we'll argue that they're playing their best soccer of the season right now. After beating San Jose here by a score of 4-2 in mid May, they then were very competitive in a slim 2-1 loss at 7-2 Minnesota last time out. Look for Portland to take advantage of home field and to find a way to deliver in this spot; lay the price for Portland to get the job done in regulation!

10* Dynamo/Galaxy OVER (MLS TOW)

Both teams have been involved in several lower-scoring games of late, but we're anticipating a higher-scoring one here finally on Saturday night. Houston is 5-5 and LA is 5-2. The Galaxy have played to four straight draws. Last time out it was a 0-0 draw at Charlotte. Previous to that though it was a 2-2 draw at Minnesota. We're anticipating a more wide-open and high-scoring affair here similar to what the team polayed to at Minnesota, and a 2-2 draw vs. Real at home previous to that even. Houston is 0-1-1 in its last two, scoring just one goal in that span. But now here on the road with the host pushing the pace, everything points to this total finally flying "over" the number sooner, rather than later.

10* OVER Everton/Arsenal (EPL TOW)

The end of the regular season is here. Everton is 13-15 and in 11th, while Arsenal is 27-5 and in first. The reverse-fixutre saw Arsenal hold on for the 1-0 win back on September 17th, but note that Everon has in fact seen the total soar above the posted number 7 of its last 10 in trying to avenge a road loss vs. an opponent in which it was shutout. Everton has seen the total go under in five straight, but note that it has also seen the total go over four of its last five after playing to five or more straight unders in a row. With each side pushing the pace in this final contest of the year like we suspect, everything does indeed point to this total flying "over" the number sooner, rather than later!

10* Crystal Palace (EPL GOW)

Aston Villa is playing at home vs. Liverpool on Wednesday, but we're releasing this pick on Monday. Despite the result from that contest, we love how this one sets up for Crystal Palace. Aston Villa is 20-9, while Crystal Palace is still fighting for positioning in its final game of the year. Crystal Palace plays with revenge after the 3-1 loss in the reverse-fixture back on September 16th. Crystal Palace is 12-15 and 13th overall, but it's firing on all cylinders, having not lost in EPL action in six games, going 5-0-1 in that time. With extra tme off to prepare for this final home game, as mentioned above, we LOVE how this one sets up for Crystal Palace!

10* OVER Vancouver/Seattle (MLS TOW)

Both teams are in dire need of a win. Both teams have struggled with offensive consistency of late. But all of those factors collide to push and motivate these teams to play to a much more wide-open, and ultimatley higher-scoring affair finally on Saturday night. The Whitecaps will be desperate here to snap a four-game winless streak, which includes scoring just one goal over that span. But it's Seattle which plays with revenge after a 2-0 loss at Vancouver in mid-April. That's significant to note though because the Sounders have in fact seen the total eclipse the posted number in three of their last four in trying to avenge a road loss in which they were shutout. For all the reasons listed above, the play is the "over!"

10* Real Salt Lake (MLS GOW)

Colorado won here 2-1 back on March 9th as a +350 underdog. Note that Real is 7-3 in its last ten in trying to avenge a home loss as a favorite vs. an opponent. Colorado is now 6-4 after a 1-0 win at home over Vancouver last time out. Colorado has been trading wins/losses over its last five games, and off the win, I believe this pattern continues vs. the revenge-minded home side that's not lost in five games and which has scored 11 goals in that span, while allowing three. Great value here on Real Salt Lake!

10* Real Salt Lake/LA Galaxy OVER (MLS TOW)

Both teams have been involved in some lower-scoring games of late, but we're finally expecting more of an offensive affair here for a couple of different reasons. Real Salt Lake is 6-2 and off a 1-0 win at home over KC. Previous to that it was a 2-1 win at Philadelphia. Look for the visitors once again push the pace here and to find the back of the net at least twice on the road this time around as well. LA is 5-2 after a 0-0 draw with Seattle and previous to that it was a 2-0 loss to Austin. After being shut out in back-to-back contests, everything points to the Galaxy opening things up big time on the offensive end this weekend. With each side pushing the pace from start to finish like we anticipate, everything does indeed point to this total flying "over" the number sooner, rather than later!

10* Union (MLS GOW)

No need to overanalyze this one in our opinion, as the home field advantage can't be overlooked as a very real deciding factor once it's all said and done in our opinion. Orlando is just 2-5 after back-to-back losses, most recently a 1-0 home loss to Cincinnati. Philadelphia is 3-2-1 after a 2-2 draw in the nation's capital last weekend. These team's tied 2-2 in Orlando last Summer, but we expect Philadelphia to take care of business in regulation this time around on home soil; lay the price, the play is on the Union!

10* West Ham (EPL GOW)

We base our picks on many different things, but this one is based upon the "situation." This is a great situational play, and we'd consider ourselves primarily situational cappers. Luton is about to be relegated, sitting in 18th spot in the table. West Ham is 13-13 though and ninth overall with this, and one last tough road game at Manchester City to close out the regular season. After the tough 5-0 loss at Chelsea last weekend, look for the Hammers to come in focused on the task at hand; lay the price, the play is West Ham!

10* Burnley/Tottenham UNDER (EPL TOW)

As primarily situational cappers, these are exactly the types of games that we're constantly keeping our eyes on the look out for. Tottenham is 18-11, but after four straight losses, we're expecting the home side to risk life and limb to secure a victory here, and that means risking life and limb getting into shooting and passing lanes as it looks to smother Burnely from the "get go." Burnley has nothing to play for except possibly trying to play spoiler at 5-22. Burnely has only managed a single goal in each of its last two games, and we have a hard time seeing the visitors even getting one in this one; when you add it all up, this O/U line is indeed high, so the play is the "under!"

10* Austin/Vancouver OVER (MLS WEST-CONF TOM)

This is Austin's first trip to BC since July 2023 and suffice it to say, we're expecting goals to be plentiful. Austin so far has 15 points after a 2-0 win over the LA Galaxy last time out. Note though that Austin has seen the total eclipse the posted number in eight of its last 11 off a shutout victory. Vancouver comes in off a 1-1 draw at Red Bull Arena in its most recent action. And if recent history is any precedence, then all signs definitely point to a higher-scoring shootout, as over the last six games against each other they've produced 20 goals (an average of 3.33 GPG.) Look for this pattern to continue as this total flies "over" the number sooner, rather than later!

10* Miami (MLS EAST-CONF GOY)

We feel that Miami and Messi at home here could/should in fact be much larger favorites. This is the first meeting of the year between the clubs but Miami won't forget the last time they battled and in which they fell 4-0 last season. And with back-to-back road games after this, Miami will be looking to make the most of this opportunity. New York hasn't lost in six games, but it it also hasn't won in three straight. The Red Bulls come to down off three straight draws, including a lacklustre 1-1 effort at home vs. Vancouver last time out. With New England coming to town the following weekend, we say the visitors get caught "looking ahead." A great overall situational play here on Miami!

10* Newcastle (EPL GOM)

We like the Magpies to get the job done on the road here as favorites vs. the overmatched Clarets. Burnley is second to the bottom in the EPL table. Off a 1-1 draw with Man U, a letdown appears imminent now for the home side in our opinion. Newcastle finished Top 4 last year, but is seventh right now. After a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, the Magpies bounced back with the convincing 5-1 win over Sheffield United. Burnley has been consistently inconsistent and we expect that to once again be the case this weekend vs. Newcastle!

10* UNDER Tottenham/Chelsea (EPL TOM)

These two rivals renew that rivalry at Stamford Bridge on Thursday and while each has played to several higher-scoring games of late, we're anticipating a much more defensive affair here finally on Thursday. The Hotspurs are off B2B losses, first calling 4-0 at Newcastle, before then dropping a 3-2 decision at home to Arsenal last week. They lost to Chelsea 4-1 at home in the reverse-fixture back in November, but note that Tottenham has in fact seen the total go "under" the number in eight of its last 12 in trying to avenge a home loss vs. an opponent. Chelsea is 13-11. It fell 5-0 to Arsenal, before then drawing 2-2 at Aston Villa last week. Fatigue becomes an issue here in our opinion in this mid-week contest, turning this match into much more of a "war of attrition," than what the oddsmakers are trying to lead us to believe; this number is high, the play is the "under!"

Home field advantage can't be overlooked as a very real deciding factor in this matchup. FC Cincinnati is 4-2 and in our estimation, it could/should in fact be a much larger favorite in this spot. It just snapped a three-game winless streak with a convincing 2-1 win at Atlanta and we say that momentum gets carried over here at home. Colorado is also 4-2, but after two straight victories, a predictable letdown seems imminent here to us in this difficult road venue. And with a game at NYCFC up next, it's also a "look ahead" for the visitors; lay the price with confidence, the play is FC Cincinnati!

10* Manchester United -1.5 (GOW)

We're expecting the home side to lay the hammer down from start to finish, making the spread option the correct call as far as the side is concerned in our opinion. Sheffield United is at the bottom of the table and is coming off a disheartening 4-1 defeat by Burnely last weekend. Manchester United on the other hand is in seventh spot in the table and still needing victories here to close the game. If recent history is any precedence though, then Man U has to be liking its chances here, as it's won eight of the last ten in this series. We say that streak continues here with another convincing blowout victory; lay the goals for Man U to win in a blowout in regulation!

10* Aston Villa (EPL GOW)

Under Unai Emery, Aston Villa is once again a force to be reckoned with and it's now aiming to finish in the top four of the table. Most recently the Villains got the better of Arsenal on the road by a score of 2-0. Andoni Iraola's men started slowly this year, but there's now a chance the Cherries could finish in the top half of the table. Bournemouth is off a satisfying 2-2 draw with Man U at home though and is now primed for a predictable letdown here on the road. We're predicting a dominant all-around win for the home side, so lay the price with confidence!

10* Seattle (MLS GOM)

It's another Cascadia Cup clash here this weekend at Lumens Field in Seattle, and we believe that the home field advantage will indeed prove to be a big difference-maker for the Sounders. Seattle is off a 0-0 draw with Dallas last time out, while the Whitecaps took a major step back with a 3-1 home loss to the Los Angeles Galaxy. The Sounders have taken big steps over the last few weeks and have cleaned up their defensive issues that we saw earlier on, and despite the Caps having lots of scoring potential, they're just not the same team on the road, as they are at home. Look for the home side to find a way to get the job done in regulation and lay the price with the Sounders!

10* Wolverhampton (SPREAD) EPL GOW.

We're coming down the home stretch here of the season and this is one that favors the visitors in our opinion. That said, at this price, the savvy wager is to grab Wolverhampton on the spread option (0.5 if you can get it, but also +0.25 as well is acceptable.) Wolverhampton is 12-13 and on a three-game winless streak, most recently falling 2-1 to West Ham. These teams played to a 1-1 draw in the reverse-fixture back in December and we could very well see a repeat here. Nottingham Forest is just 7-17. After upsetting Fulham 3-1, it immediately fell 3-1 at Tottenham last week. Home field has been anything but an advantage for Nottingham Forest this year, so play the Wolves on the spread option this weekend!

10* Arsenal (EPL GOW)

Arsenal is seeking the title and we're not expecting any hiccups here from Amex Stadium. Brighton is off a goalless draw with lowly Brentford, while the Gunners looked sluggish last time out vs. Luton, but still emerged with a 2-0 victory. The Seagulls registered their most shots without scoring in team history on Wednesday, and after that letdown, we're expecting another here. The Gunners are in a fight with Liverpool and won't be taking the foot off the gas; lay the price and expect a decisive win on the road in regulation for Arsenal!

10* Newcastle (EPL GOM)

Everton has lost three straight and is winless in the EPL in 12 straight. Nothing will change here against a resurgent Newcastle side who has the advantage of playing at home. Newcastle overcame some injuries to come from behind to knock off West Ham United here at home and there's no reason not to think it won't/can't keep that momentum rolling here. Saturday's victory closed the gap with the Hammers to just a single game, making this contest the most important so far for the home side. Look for Newcastle to come out more aggressively on Tuesday and to keep the foot on the gas until the end of injury time, while taking all three points in regulation in the process!

Wolverhampton is in ninth currently. It returns from the break after a 2-1 win over Fulham. Aston Villa though is in fourth and well worth the price of admission here in our estimation. Wolverhampton still has some injury issues, which will be music to the ears of Unai Emery, Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins; lay the price with confidence for Aston Villa to deliver all three points in regulation!

10* FC Cincinnati (MLS GOW)

NYCFC is in 12th and ripe for the picking in our estimation. It managed a 2-1 win over Toronto FC last weekend, but we definitely feel that it's in over it's head here in this difficult away venue. FC Cincinnati is in third place and off a 2-1 win over a tough New England Revolution side. NYCFC has won only one away competition across all competitions over its last 22 tries and we absolutely don't expect that string of futility to end this weekend. Home field advantage can't be overlooked as a very real deciding factor in our opinion; the play is indeed on FC Cincinnati!

10* Sporting Kansas City (MLS GOW)

Neither team have been great, but here's a great opportunity for Sporting KC. It's 0-0-3 so far, so it won't be lacking for motivation here as it goes for its first outright win, which we predict it will earn. San Jose has lost all three of its games so far. Despite only scoring two goals, Sporting KC has looked better defensively of these two clubs as well. This is essentially a "must win" game (despite it being just the fourth of the season!) for the home side and we're expecting it to play like it; lay the price for KC to get the job done in regulation!

10* Tottenham (EPL GOW)

Fulham is off a 2-1 loss to Wolverhampton and we think it'll stumble here on Saturday afternoon at home in the London derby. Tottenham is on top form, off a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace, followed by a 4-0 win over Aston Villa. This is just a bad matchup for Fulham, which fell 2-0 at Tottenham in the reverse-fixture in the summer. Lay the price for the Spurs to keep this momentum rolling!

10* Atlanta United FC (MLS GOM)

Home-field advantage will prove to be the difference-maker in this one. New England is 0-2 to start the season and it clearly has several issues across the board. It fell 3-1 at DC to open the season and we're predicting a similar final outcome here in this difficult road venue. Atlanta fell 1-0 at Columbus, but it was a war until the end. Now back at home for two straight, we like Atlanta United FC to take advantage of this favorable matchup and to find a way to deliver the goods before the end of extra time in regulation; lay the price, the play is indeed on Atlanta United FC!

10* Crystal Palace (EPL GOW)

In what we feel should be an even bigger line here for Crystal Palace here early on Saturday, we will indeed recommend to play the home side. Both teams are struggling, but this is a golden spot for CP, who comes in off a 3-1 loss to Tottenham. A date vs. 18th spot Luton Town is just what the doctor ordered to get back on track in our opinion though. The Hatters have lost four straight in the league and we just feel this is a really difficult spot once again vs. this super focused home side. Both teams are suffering major injuries, but Luton's list is much longer. The final thing though is the revenge factor, as Luton managed a 2-1 win in the final moments in the reverse fixture at the start of the year. We love Crystal Palace to step up and grab all three points in this one with a convincing win in regulation; lay the price, the  play is indeed on CP!

10* OVER OCSC/Miami (TOM)

As primarily situational cappers, we love the way this one sets up to be a higher-scoring affair. Both teams played to lower-scoring games to open the season, and because of that we absolutely believe there's an overreaction here and that this O/U line is in fact way too low now. OCSC went to a 0-0 draw tih Montreal, while Miami opened with a 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake, before the uninspiring 1-1 draw with LA to close out Week 1. With two games under their belts and now back at home, we're expecting Messi's side to push the pace from start to finish here. With this faster-paced affair like we're anticipating, all signs do indeed point to this total eclipsing the posted number sooner, rather than later; the play is the "over!"

Newcastle is currently in ninth spot at 11-11, while Wolverhampton is eighth spot at 11-10. These two sides played to a 2-2 draw in the reverse-fixture back in late October, but the overall situation that each finds itself coming into this one, tips the scales in favor of the home side here. In fact, we feel that Newcastle should or could in fact be a much larger favorite. The Wolves managed an epic 2-1 win at Tottenham as large dogs, before then barely holding on for the 1-0 win at home vs. Sheffield. Newcaslte broke a two-game away slide with a 3-0 home win over lowly Fulham, but we're expecting the home side to build off that win and to make sure that they earn MORE than just the "draw" here vs. this team that struggles in EPL away contests. All things considered, we feel this to be the very defintion of "great line value;" the play is Newcastle!

10* Austin FC (MLS GOM)

Ultimately we feel that Austin FC should/could in fact be a much larger favorite in this spot. The home side will be looking to get out to a quick start this season after last year's disappointment, winning once in its last 11 games and finishing 12th in the Western Conference. Minnesota only finished two points ahead of Austin, and it was terrible on the road. It also struggled in the off-season, winning just once in four games. Seven of Austin's ten wins last year came at home and at this price, we feel we're getting fantastic line value; lay the price with confidence with Austin in regulation!

10* Crystal Palace (EPL GOW)

Crystal Palace needs a win here after going winless in its last three league outings. Last time out it played to a 1-1 draw with Everton. But here's the perfect opponent to get untracked against, as the visitors are winless in their last eight games and enter off a pathetic 5-0 home loss to Arsenal last weekend. CP is in 15th, while Burnley is in 15th. Palace matches up well in this as it scored the 2-0 away win in the reverse fixture in November. We're expecting a similar outcome here; lay the price, the play is indeed on Crystal Palace!

10* UNDER Chelseas/Man City.

These teams have been involved in several higher-scoring games of late, but everything finally points to a much tighter, and ultimately lower-scoring "under" on Saturday afternoon in our opinion. Chelsea is in tenth, and Man City is second. Last weekend the Blues won 3-1, but we expect they'll be in for a "war of attrition" this weekend. The home side got past FC Copenhagen 3-1 in Champions League this week, and while confident, we don't anticipate a wide-open affair, as City will be cautious here in this spot vs. the Blues. With each side waiting for the other to make the first mistake, all signs point to this one staying well "under" the number once it's all said and done; the play is the "under!"

10* EPL GOY on Tottenham.

Tottenham is tough to beat at home. Espcially in EPL action. The Hotspurs have won four straight in front of the home town crowd in league play and we're expecting that streak to continue here. Tottenham played to a disappointing 2-2 draw with Everton last weekend, while Brighton won 4-1 over M23 derby foe Crystal Palace. Tottenham is now in fifth, just two points behind the Lions, so that puts added importance onto this week's contest. Yes they haven't kept a clean home sheet since October, but they've produced four straight outright wins at home, and nothing is going to change here vs. the Seagulls. Brighton ranks eighth and while Europe is still a possibility, we say it's in well over its head here; lay the price for Tottenham to deliver at home in regulation!

Newcastle United is going to have its hands full here at home. It's currently in ninth spot and off a 3-0 win over Dunderland in the FA Cup. Manchester City can't afford to take the foot off the gas though sitting in third place in the table, most recently annihilating Huddersfield Town by a score of 5-0. Newcastle United can't be feeling confident here, as it has just one win in 32 matches in the EPL in this series. Manchester City has scored in each of the last 30 in this series and we have a hard time seeing the home side keeping pace down the stretch; lay the price with confidence, the play is Manchester City!

In what we believe will be a complete "war of attrition," we definitely feel that the value in this matchup lies in the "draw" option. Look at the odds, as the oddsmakers would agree that we have a very evenly matched matchup on our hands in this one. Manchester United just drew 0-0 with Liverpool in its last match, and while we'll see a bit more offense here, we do expect a "stale-mate" in the end. West Ham is off the back off a 5-1 defeat to Liverpool in the quarters of the EFL Cup last Wednesday and will be doubling down on the defensive end after that "brain fart." With each side content to sit back and wait for the other to make the first mistake, we're playing the DRAW in this one!

10* Newcastle (EPL GOW)

Newcastle is off a 2-1 midweek loss to AC Milan, which has officially dashed its European dreams. Fulham is off back-to-back 5-0 wins over West Ham and Nottingham, but we're fully expecting the visitors to back down to earth here. Fulham upset Everton 1-0 on the road in the first game of the season, but since then it's gone winless away from friendly confines. Newcastle has now also missed out on the Europa League, so it only has domestic games to take care of and worry about now until the end of the season. Now back home and looking to take out their frustrations, as they've also dropped their last two EPL contests as well, falling 3-0 at Everton, before a 4-1 loss at Tottenham. Home field is the difference-maker here; lay the price, the play is Newcastle!

10* Burnley (EPL GOM)

Both teams are coming off home losses in their most recent EPL action. Sheffield United though has struggled with consistency away from from friendly confines this year and we can't understate how important we feel that the home field advantage will prove in this one. Burnely is just 1-11 and has yet to win at home. That's going to change here though against 1-2-10 Sheffield. The Blades are terrible and Burnely will be risking life and limb to snap this brutal slide; lay the price, the play is indeed on Burnley!

10* Newcastle (EPL GOW)

Newcastle lost 2-0 to Borussia Dortmund in Champions League action most recently, but in its most recent EPL game it beat Arsenal 1-0 as a +184 dog. AFC Bournemouth on the other hand was destoryed 6-1 by Manchester City. With Newcastle pushing the pace of this one like we expect after last week's win, we have a hard time seeing this struggling AFC Bournemouth side keeping pace. All things considered, we feel this to be the very definition of "great line value;" lay the price on Newcastle in regulation!

10* Brighton (EPL GOW)

This is a mismatch in every regard and overall we think we are in fact getting great value here on the road "favorite." Everton looks primed for a letdown here after only its third win of the year in a 1-0 victory over West Ham last week (and that was followed up with a 3-0 win over Burnley in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.) Brighton enters motivated after a 1-1 draw with Fulham in its previous outing. Brighton is on a four-game winless run, but still remains in seventh-place, while the home side is in 15th. It must also be noted that these teams split two games last year, with each winning on the others' field. But note, Brighton has won the last two away meetings in this series and in our opinion, the third times a charm as well; lay the price, the play is Brighton and Hove Albion!

10* Chelsea (EPL GOW)

No upsets here in our estimation, as we look for Chelsea to post the full three points here at home in regulation. Chelsea won't be taking anything for granted here after giving up a two-goal lead in 2-2 draw with Arsenal last weekend. But with the point claimed, they've now climbed into the Top 10. This becomes an almost "must win" game as well for the Blues, with  Tottenham Hotspur, champions Manchester City, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United all up next. Also note that Brentford has won the last two games here, so the Blues definitely also have revenge on their minds. The Bees are in the wrong place at the wrong time this weekend; lay the price, the play is Chelsea!

10* Chelsea on the spread option (EPL GOW)

In an important clash at Stamford Bridge this Saturday, we're expecting a very competitive battle. Arsenal is 6-0, while Chelsea is 3-3. Chelsea is 11th place in the EPL and it returns from the international break having posted B2B victories, including allowing just one goal in doing so and by hammering Burnley 4-1 in its last outing. Now back home and refreshed, everything points to a much tighter battle than what the oddsmakers are trying to lead us to believe in our opinion. The Gunners are off a tight 1-0 win over Manchester City and we believe they're now finally primed for a letdown here. For all the situational reasons listed above, we're on Chelsea on the spread-option!

10* FC Dallas (ASSASSIN)

FC Dallas had its midweek game vs. Colorado shelved because of bad weather, so the home side is fresh for sure. They tied 1-1 in the reverse fixture at the start of the season, but we can't understate how important we now feel that the home field advantage will prove for FC Dallas this weekend, between teams that are seperated by just one point. A win today and Dallas is guaranteed a playoff spot, but it would also open up the potential way out of the wildcard altogether as well. One game at a time though. Look for FC Dallas to dig deep here and find a way to deliver for us at this great price!

10* Chelsea (EPL GOM)

Burnley is in 18th place in the Premier League. Somehow it managed a win over Luton Town 2-1 last week, but an immediate return to mediocrity is fully expected by us here this Saturday. Chelsea moved up to 11th with its 2-0 win over Fulham at home and we're expecting a similar final result here as well. If recent history is any precedence, then Chelsea has to be confident here that it can keep the good times rolling (remember, many pundits believed that the Blues had a legitimate shot at winning the league this season!) as it's only lost once in the last 16 in this series, with the only outright loss coming back in 2017. Burnley has lost all four of its home matches, so the home field is anything but an advantage here this weekend either. All things considered we feel that this line could/should in fact be a lot larger; the play is Chelsea!

10* Austin FC (GOM)

DC United may have picked up draws in its last two MLS competitions, but we feel its well in over it head here on the road this weekend. What do you base your picks on? We base ours on many different things, but for us, this one sets up fantastically from a situational stand point. Austin FC is still in the playoff hunt, while DC United can only hope to play spoiler here. We feel that the home field advantage will prove critical here, as we expect DC to just go through the motions in this one; lay the price with Austin FC in regulation!

10* Union (MLS GOW)

No upsets here in our estimation. After three straight draws, we like the Union to dig deep here and find a way to deliver in regulation in front of the home town crowd, and before a tough away game at Columbus at the end of the month. With only five games left to go in the regular season, the Union will be looking to put together a winning run. Dallas FC is off a 1-1 draw at home to Columbus, and it travels to Houston after this. Dallas is just 10-10 this year, and it doesn't travel well. The 14-8 Union could/should be much bigger favs here; the play is Philadelphia!

10* Chelsea (ASSASSIN)

The bottom line here is that Chelsea will be desperate to return to its winning ways here in front of the crowd at Stamford Bridge. The Blues spent heavily in the off-season, and other than a 3-1 win over newly-promoted Luton Town, they've were then held scoreless over their next two. Last weekend it was a goalless draw with Bournemouth. Aston Villa though has been consistently inconsistent this year, so far with three wins and two defeats. And finally, Aston Villa won this game 2-0 last year, so the revenge factor is huge for Chelsea; lay the price, the play is indeed on Chelsea to win in regulation!

10* Atlanta United FC (MLS GOW)

Atlanta is still in line for a top four spot despite a slip up in the Nation's capital mid week. With a win over CF Montreal, and a little help, Atlanta United could wrap up that goal by Saturday. Montreal is now eight in the East, much too far from the automatic playoff bid. Atlanta has to be liking its chances here, as it did also already win the reverse fixture by a score of 1-0 earlier in the season. Now at home, and off the terrible performance, all signs point to Atlanta United laying the hammer down from start to finish; lay the price!

10* Crystal Palace (EPL GOW)

No upsets here in our estimation, as we look for Crystal Palace to earn all 3 points in regulation. Both teams come into this contest with seven points after five games. CP will be especially motivated here after falling 3-1 at Aston Villa last week, ending its two-game unbeaten streak. Fulham managed a 1-0 win at home over Luton town, but it's struggled as a visitor this season already. Crystal Palace has suffered just two defeats in its last 12 home games in EPL action, and we feel it offers great value to bounce back here at home against Fulham; lay th price, the play is indeed on Crystal Palace!

10* Houston (MLS WEST-CONF GOY)

Houston is unbeaten in its last six games. It has 40 points in 28 games. It plays with revenge here though after a 6-2 loss in Vancouver at the end of May. Note that Houston is 4-1 in its last five in trying to avenge a road loss against an opponent. Vancouver is 3-0-1 in its current road trip, but we're expecting a letdown here finally in this difficult road venue. Houston has gone to two consecutive draws, but all signs finally point to a full three points this evening; lay the price, the play is Houston!

10* Nottingham Forest (GOW)

Nottingham Forest went into the break off a 1-0 away win over Chelsea, while Burnley was crushed 5-2 by Tottenham. Forest has won each of its last four EPL matches at the City Ground, and we just can't see Burnley putting up much of a fight in this one. Burnley knocked out Nottingham Forest from the EFL Cup a couple of weeks ago, so the home side will be looking for revenge on that as well. Great price here, the play is Nottingham Forest!

10* Union (MLS GOW)

Both teams are among the top in the East, but the "home field" advantage can't be overlooked as a deciding factor in this one. In fact, we feel the Union should be a bigger favorite in this matchup here at home. The Union have won six straight at home, and we don't see FC Cincinnati stopping that streak today. Their last victory was a 4-1 thrashing of the Red Bulls. Cincinnati on the other hand lost its final game before the international break, falling 1-0 to Orlando City. All things considered, we feel this is a great price; the play is Philadelphia!

8* DRAW St. Louis/LA (ASSASSIN)

LA will be looking to further its playoff chances with a win today, but St. Louis City won't be rolling over here. This one has "war of attrition" written all over it in our opinion, and that makes the DRAW option the savvy call here. LA is on a three match unbeaten streak after a 0-0 draw with Houston last time out. St. Louis is on top of the Western Conference despite losing 2-1 to Sporting KC last time out. Lots on stake for both clubs, but everything points to a very evenly matched affair. The play is the DRAW!

LA FC can move back into second place in the West with a win today. Despite outshooting Miami by a score of 22-9 at home last week, LAFC fell 3-1. Portland drew 2-2 with Seattle. LAFC has't lost in four straight in this series and we're not expecting that streak to end here. LA has only beaten Portland twice at Providence Park, the last one came in this exact matchup a season ago (2-1.) We're expecting a similar final outcome here; the play is LAFC!

10* UNDER Inter Miami/LAFC.

With Messi on Inter Miami, the general betting public is is quick to back the team from South Beach now. LA though is still clinging to second spot in the West despite a 2-1 setback at Charlotte last Saturday. Now back at home and ready for a bounce-back, we think the last thing LAFC will do is to turn this into a "track meet." Instead, we expect the "better team on paper" to sit back and wait for the visiting side to make the first mistake. In this "war of attrition," expect the total to stay well "under" the number once it's all said and done!

Crystal Palace is the "better" team on paper in this matchup, and I think that'll also translate into a decisive victory on the field of play this weekend as well in this favorable matchup. Wolverhampton is in complete disarray after a 5-0 loss to Blackpool last week. Crystal Palace on the other hand comes in off an encouraging 4-2 win over Plymouth Argyle. Crystal Palace has won three straight at home in this series and at this price, we LOVE that streak to continue; the play is indeed on Crystal Palace!

NYCFC is off a commanding 2-0 win over Montreal FC on Wednesday, and we're expecting the home side to carry over that momentum here at home on Saturday. The White Caps are already off back-to-back wins, including a 1-0 win over Chicago last time out, but like Montreal, Vancouver does not travel well. NYCFC has three clean sheets at Yankee Stadium in its last seven games there and we feel it offers tremendous value to keep the streak going here; the play is NYCFC!

Dating back to 2020, Brentford has won four in this series, lost one and drawn one. The last time they clashed was last season and the Bees left with the 2-0 victory. Brentford had 50 percent possession , but 12 shots on goa, compared to Bournemouth's 7. Bournemouth will be competitive early, but the Bees momentum carries over here as they continue their recent domination of this series; lay the price, the play is Brentford!

10* Liverpool/ Newcastle United DRAW (ASSASSIN)

Newcastle is 1-1, hammering Aston Villa 5-1 in the opening week, and then calling 1-0 last weekend to high-powered Manchester City. All signs point to bounceback here though in our opinion. Liverpool is off a 3-1 win over lowly Bournemouth, but we believe it'll have its hands full finally here in Week 3. Liverpool is unbeaten in its last 13 matches in the EPL, so the home side will have it hands full for sure as well. Each team is filled with impressive talent, and we believe we're going to witness a "stale-mate," meaning that the DRAW option offers the best overall value.

This is the third time these teams have played this year, and each has one victory. FC Dallas though will look to Ausin FC is in seventh the Western Conference. FC Dallas though has won two of its last three matches. In its last six home matches FC Dallas has won three, drawn one and lost two, scoring eight goals and conceding five. Austin FC comes in on terrible form by going 1-3 in their last four matches. In Austin FC's last six away matches, it's won once, drawn once and lost four, scoring 11 goals, while conceding 16. Look for FC Dallas to take advantage and lay this price with confidence!

8* Brighton and Hove Albion (ROUT)

Brighton and Hove Albion will get tripped up and lose at some point shortly, but it won't be this weekend in our opinion. The Seagulls hammered the Hammer 4-0 on the South Coast in March, and we're expecting a similar style beatdown here as well. So far Brighton has scored eight goals and conceded two. The Hammers are in over their heads here and have struggled in this matchup for a while now, going 0-3 in the last three in this series, falling by an aggregate score of 9-1. These two teams are moving in opposite directions and I expect those trends to continue here; lay the price with confidence, the play is Brighton and Hove Albion!

10* Arsenal (ASSASSIN)

Crystal Palace managed to hold on for the 1-0 win over Sheffield United last week, but we expect it to now have its hands full with much deeper Arsenal coming to town. Arsenal held on for a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest last week. If recent history is any precedence, then Arsenal has to be feeling confident here, as Crystal Palace has won only one of its eight matches against it in the EPL. Overall Arsenal has the superior squad here, a team that can really give Manchester City a run for its money. Look for the "better" team to grind out a solid win here; the play is Arsenal!

No big upsets here in our estimation as the MLS returns to action this weekend. New York gets ready to host DC at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday. DC United is just 8-10 and it's terrible on the road, most recently falling 4-0 at New England on July 15th. New York lost two straight vs. Cincinnati and Real Salt Lake to close out before the break, but we like it to easily bounce back here now in this favorable matchup; lay the price, the play is the Red Bulls!

We like Brighton & Hove Albion to find a way to get the job done here in regulation. Brighton & Hove Albion most recently hammered Luton Town 4-1 and I believe a similar final outcome will be expected here. Wolverhampton hung around in its opener, but eventually fell 1-0 to Manchester United. But competing again like that vs. another difficult opponent will prove to be too difficult this week in our opinion. Sheffield United had a poor time against Crystal Palace, and playing at the City Ground will only make it more difficult here going up against Nottingham Forest. We expect the Reds to come in focused on the task at hand; lay the price for Nottingham Forest to win in regulation!

Everton is taking on Marco Silva's Fulham side, but we like the home side to prevail in this one. Fulham is overmatched here. It finished tenth in last year's table. It managed a 2-1 win over TSG Hoffenheim, but we feel they're completely overmatched here on the road in the season opener. Everton will be eager to get out to a decent start this year after finishing 17th-place in the table. Everton won the first 14 games in this series against Fulham at Goodison Park, but the Cottagers have taken the last two. Here's an opportunity get back on track; the play is Everton!

We'll have more stats to draw from as the season wares on, but overall this one sets up well for Man City to post a big blowout. Burnley has for sure come a long way under Vincent Kompany, but they're still severely overmatched in this one. Man City just lost to Arsenal in the FA Community Shield, so its going to be much more prepared here for this opener. It's lost talent, but Mancheter City still has more than enough to lay a beating on Burnley; lay the 1.5 goals and take Manchester City!

10* Seattle Sounders FC (BOB)

After this the MLS breaks for three weeks to play its Summer Tournament. Home field advantage will prove to be the difference-maker in this one once it's all said and done in our opinion. Dallas is just 8-9 and it doesn't travel well. Off a 2-1 loss at lowly Colorado, look for the 10-8 Sounders to take advantage. Off a 2-0 loss at San Jose, we can expect a major respone here from Seattle; lay the price with confidence, the play is on the Sounders!

8* Houston Dynamo (DESTRUCTION)

After a 2-2 draw here with Sporting KC, Houston hasn't won in three straight MLS contests, but we're expecting that short run of futility to come to an end here this evening in this favorable home matchup. The Dynamo play wiht revenge after a 1-0 loss at Minnesota back on May 17th, and note that Houston is 7-3 in its last ten in trying to avenge a road loss vs. an opponent. Minnesota is poor on the road ans off the 4-1 home loss to lowly Austin. Look for the more motivated and revenge-minded home side to lay everything on the line and deliver here at home; lay the price, the play is Houston!

10* Chicago Fire (GOW)

The Canadian teams don't travel well. This line could/should in fact be much larger. Chicago is 6-7 and is playing its best soccer of the season right now, having won three of its last four, including a 1-0 win here over Nashville as a +139 dog last time out. Montreal is 8-11 overall and we think another predictable letdown here in this difficult road venue, facing this now surging home side is imminent; lay the price, the play is Chicago!

10* DRAW NYC/CC (VALUE PLAY)

Two really good teams and we think there's going to be a classic "war of attrition," meaning that the DRAW offers tremendous value to cash here. Columbus is 10-6 and it hasn't lost in MLS action in seven games, most recently drawing 2-2 at Miami. New York City FC hasn't lost in MLS in seven games either, "drawing" six of those, including last time out in a 1-1 effort vs. Charlotte FC. As the title of this play implies, this one is all about the "value;" the play is the DRAW.

10* LAFC (MLS GOW)

This is the 20th installment of "El Trafico" at the Rose Bowl between the clubs. LAFC is 9-5 now off a 2-0 loss at Dallas (note though that it's 3-1 in its last four off a shutout loss.) The Galaxy enter off their fourth-straight "draw," 2-2 at San Jose. The home side is just 3-9 in MLS action. So being unbeaten in four straight is decent, but Vanney's side is still in the cellar. LAFC has had its up and downs this year, but it's still in second in the Western Conference. The Galaxy have taken a share of the spoils over the last few weeks, but we expect that run of attrition to end here against their bitter rival; the play is LAFC!

10* Seattle (MLS WEST-CONF GOW)

Thees teams are No. 3 and No. 4 in the West, and at this point of the season, we can't understate how important we feel that the home field advantage will be. When these teams played in Houston back on May 13th, Seattle scored the 1-0 victory as a +204 underdog. Now here at home, we think the Sounders get back on track after going winless in their last five in MLS action (note though that the Sounders are also 3-1 in their last four after five or more straight losses in a row.) Houston doesn't travel well; lay the price, the play is Seattle!

10* FC Cincinnati (EAST-CONF GOW)

This is the reverse-fixture after these teams tied 1-1 in New England back in April. The Revolution are 10-3, but we expect them to struggle here in this extremely difficult road venue. FC Cincinnati is 13-2, but off a 3-0 road loss at DC as a +300 dog, we absolutely expect a big response here, as clearly the team was caught looking ahead. Note though that FC Cincinnati is 3-1 in its last four after getting shutout in a loss in its previous outing. Ultimately we feel that the Revs had their chance to score a win against Cincinnati at home, and they failed. Great price on a great team, the play is indeed on FC Cincinnati.

10* Portland (MLS NON-CONF GOY)

We like Portland to dig deep here and deliver at home. NYCFC is just 4-7, most recently drawing with Atlanta 2-2. That's NYCFC's fourth straight draw in MLS action. With a week off before a game at Montreal, we finally expect the Boys in Blue to have a letdown here. Portland is 5-8 after losing to Chicago as a -125 favorite earlier in the week, but note that the Timbers are 3-1 in their last four after a home loss as a favorite in the -105 to -135 range. Look for Portland to dig deep here and deliver in this favorable spot; the play is the Timbers!

10* FC Cincinnati (GOW)

We base our selections on many different things. We play underdogs, totals, and we're never afraid to lay chalk, especially when our "play on" side should/could in fact be a much larger favorite. And that's the case here. The bottom line for this one is that Toronto is still figuring out how to win tight matches, something that FC Cincinnati has perfected, and the overall depth and form of the Orange and Blue should enable them to maintain their perfect record on home soil; lay the price, the play is FC Cincinnati!

10* OVER NYCFC/Columbus (EAST-CONF. TOY)

New York City FC comes in desparate to break its longest winless urn in MLS regular-season play since 2015. Last week the Pigeons managed a 0-0 draw with Real Salt Lake, pushing their winless run in MLB to eight games. The Columbus Crew come in on the other end of the spectrum, having won three in a row and off an impressive 2-1 win over the Chicago Fire. The Boys in Blue have picked up back-to-back domestic fixture wins and they'll now look to translate that into success here in MLS. New York has had plenty of success against Columbus in the past and in a contet that we see having a much "faster pace" than anticipated, we look for this total to fly "over" the number sooner, rather than later!

10* UNDER Houston/LA FC (MLS TOW)

LA FC is on a terrible run right now, having gone five straight matches without a win across all leagues. They also fell 4-0 to Houston on Sunday in MLS action, breaking their four-game unbeaten streak in MLS (note though that LA FC has seen the total go "under" the number in three of its last four in trying to avenge a shutout loss against an opponent.) LAFC was at one point unbeaten over its first eight matches in the MLS. Houston will have to be careful not to have a letdown here after a superb performance against Chicago in the US Open Cup last week to cement their spot in the Semi-Final with Real Salt Lake. Note as well that in eight away MLS matches, Houston has taken just two points. This number is high, the play is the UNDER.

10* Chicago +0.5 (MLS GOW)

We simply don't trust Toronto at all. It did end a five-match winless run in all competitions last weekend, but an immediate return to mediocrity seems imminent. The Reds won 3-1 over DC United, while Chicago will be the hungrier team now after squandering a second-half advantage and drawing 3-3 with New England last time out. Chicago hasn't had much luck North of the border, but that just adds fuel to the fire here. The outright is possible, but let's grab on the spread as the great price; the play is Chicago +0.5.

10* OVER 0.5 goal in FIRST HALF of the EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL.

Yes, if Jose Mourinho and Roma are going to win this game, it'll be on the backs of their elite defensive play, but we're still expecting at least one goal in the FIRST HALF of the Europa League Final. Sevilla is in the superior form currently, and it'll be trying desperately to dictate the tempo early. If you can only play of the ENTIRE GAME, then we also like the OVER for the match as well. Regardless, we're laying the price with confidence here on the OVER in the FIRST HALF!

10* UNDER Manchester United/Liverpool (BLOOD-BATH)

Liverpool was expected to be a challenger again before the season started, while Manchester United was supposed to struggle, but the opposite is the case as we head into the final third of the campaign. Man U is in third, while Liverpool is in sixth. Now Liverpool will look to make a move in the EPL and it'll be feeling confident after a win over Newcastle last week. Man U won the reverse fixture 2-0 in August and Liverpool is going to have difficulty scoring again here in my opinion. Look for this one to be a "war of attrition" and play the "under!"

Brighton is enjoying a decent season, and it's pushing for its first-ever taste of European Football. Brighton will be feeling especially ready to get back onto the pitch today after a 1-0 defeat to Fulham in its latest EPL action, a game in which it created plenty of opportunities, but somehow came up empty-handed. West Ham has struggled, and now sits outside the safe zone. Last weekend they earned a much-needed 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest, but then it fell 3-1 to Manchester United in the last 16 of the FA Cup on Thursday. Brighton though has won three of its last four home games and I'm expecting the hosts to dig deep and deliver in regulation here after last week's disappointing result; lay the price, the play is Brighton!

Nice will be looking to go to nine unbeaten here today in Ligue 1 action. They're off a 3-0 win over Monaco, while Auxerre does come to town with some momentum of its own after a 1-0 away win over Lorient. All three of Nice's goals last time out came in the first half. Auxerre will present a much more difficult challenge on the backend today though. This one has all the feelings of a "war of attrition" this afternoon, and because of that, the play here is on the "under!"

10* OVER Wolverhampton/Liverpool (EPL TOY)

With the total juiced to the "over," oddsmakers are expecting some offensive fireworks perhaps? I do as well. These are two of the best defensive clubs around, but that's only helped in driving this total down from were it really should be in my opinion. The Reds are off a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace, and they'll be eager to reverse their offensive fortunes here. Liverpool is still in seventh, but with a lot of ground to make up with a nine-point gap to Tottenham. The Wolves took seven points from four fixtures in February. Wolverhampton is in 15th in the table and just three points clear of the dotted line. Each of these motivated teams pushes the pace and finally finds the back of the net in the end though; this number is low, the play is the "over!"

10* Juventus (BLOOD-BATH)

This is a big game, as only one point seperates these top-flight opponents. This is the 156th Derby della Mole. Juventus has slipped of late, and has only a slim lead over Torino now. Juventus has still won five of its last six games for the concession of just one breakaway goal. In fact, only Barcelona has achieved more wis without conceding that Juventus. Also note that Juve is unbeaten in the last 17 derbies, with 13 wins in the process. The Granata are in a bit of unfamiliar territory here now and will have to recover from a run of one win from five league and cup games. Torino is going to lack a scoring punch here against Juve's great backfield though; lay the price, the play is Juventus!

6* Lazio (SITUATIONAL WINNER)

Is this a lot to lay? I'd say considering the form of each side, that Lazio is in fact vastly undervalued in this position, and because of that, I have no issues at all in laying this larger price. The Samp have yet to even win in 2023, while Lazio remains in the hunt for Champions League qualification. The Aquile are only behind Barcelona and Juventus in terms of clean sheets kept across the five European Leagues in 2022/23. After a 1-1 draw in August's reverse fixture, I expdect the home side to take nothing for granted today; this is a mismatch of epic proportions for various reasons, so lay the price with confidence!

10* West Ham United (EPL GOW)

This is a big game for West Ham United, which is eager to climb out of the relegation zone. The Hammers are currently sitting in 18th in the table, which is just one point away from safety. Forest is in the 13th place, five points clear. West Ham will be particularly motivated after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham last weekend, but this is a matchup that favors the Hammers. They own a great home record vs. Forest, having only lost once to the Tricky Trees in ten such instances. They've also won seven of their last eight at home vs. newly promoted sides. Give me the desperate Hammers to dig deep and deliver in this crucial spot!

10* OVER Borussia/Mainz (BUNDESLIGA TOW)

Each team is coming off a big win in the last round and I expect that momentum to get carried over here. They've combined for five league draws so far this season, and this is expected to be a very competitive affair between two well-matched sides. Mainz is off the 3-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen, while Borrusia Monchengladbach is off a big 3-2 win over Bayern Munich. Expect these offenses to continue to roll on Friday; the play is the "over!"

10* UNDER Real Madrid/Liverpool (BLOCKBUSTER)

This is a repeat of last year's Final. This is the first leg of their last-16 tie. Liverpool is coming off B2B victories over Everton and Newcastle United, meaning that a top-four finish is still in the cards. Liverpools unbeaten streak at Anfield has now reached seven games. Liverpool has always had a hell of a time with Real Madrid though. Real does have shaky European form on the road at times though. Liverpool is winless in six straight in this series. I'm expecting a highly competitive affair, but look for this one to be a "war of attrition." As such, the play is the "under!"

10* UNDER Cremonese/Torino (SERIE-A TOY)

Cremonese is winless in Serie A action, and now they visit middle of the table Torino. The hosts though won't be taking anything for granted after a loss at Milan last week. The Grigiorossi will have to rely on a miracle at this point though to save them from an immediate exit back to the second tier. Despite the loss to Milan last week, Torino looked solid defensively in the 1-0 defeat. Expect the home side to control the pace of this one, as I find it difficult to see Cremonese mounting much of an attack today; this number is high, the play is the "under!"

10* OVER Dortmund/Hertha (BUNDESLIGA TOW)

Dortmund is rolling, looking to post a sixth straight Bundesliga victory. Hertha Berlin won't be rolling over though, as its hovering on relegation, and an upset here would be huge. Hertha comes in with momentum as well off a much-needed win over Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend. Dortmund is off a 1-0 win over Chelsea in Champions League play, but we can anticipate a much more wide-open affair here; the play is the "over!"

10* Brighton (EPL GOY)

I think Brighton is well worth the price of admission in this matchup. Brighton won't be taking anything for granted here after a draw with Crystal Palace last weekend. It was a game that Roberto De Zerbi and the Seagulls dominated from start to finish. They had twice as many shots as the Eagles. They're level on points with Fulham, but have played two less games. Brighton also has two games in hand over fifth-placed Tottenham. It won't be a cakewalk obviously, as Fulham has aspirations to play in Europe as well. They did manage to snap three-match winless streak witha 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest last weekend, but the Seagulls are an entirely different animal here obviously. This is a big time revenge game as well, as Fulham won 2-1 at Craven Cottage in the first half of the season (note that it hasn't completed the double on the Seagulls since 1992 though.) Look for revenge-minded Brighton to find a way to deliver on Saturday morning!

10* Brentford/Crystal Palace UNDER (EPL TOM)

I'm expecting a very defensive affair in this one. Brentford is unbeaten in ten games. It's off a 1-1 draw vs. Arsenal over the weekend. I foresee a similar final combined score here. Palace is winless in its last six games. They're off a 1-1 draw with Brighton, which is actually a really good result. Look for CP to play to to another "war of attrition" here with Brentford as well. Note that two of their last three vs. each other have ended goalless. The reverse fixture this season was a 1-1 tie; all signs point to this one staying "under" the posted number!

10* OVER Bayern/PSG (Champions League TOY)

It's the champions of France and Germany colliding here on Tuesday afternoon, and in my opinion everything points to some offensive fireworks. PSG hopes to end its long wait to be named league Champions, while the Germans have aspirations for a seventh crown. PSG won't be lacking motivation after a 3-1 defeat to Monaco on Saturday. The Parisians still have a five-point lead at the top of the Ligue, but a two-game losing streak to face Bayern is obviously not what the doctor ordered. PSG plays much better at home though, having won 12 and drawn three of their 15 home games. Bayern has won three straight across all competitions, and it's been its surging offense that's been responsible. Look for this faster-paced affair to produce plenty of goals; the play is the "over!"

8* Newcastle (BLOOD-BATH)

I think Newcastle United is well worth the price of admission in this spot. The Magpies are of a lacklustre 1-1 draw with West Ham, so Newcastle won't be taking anything for granted here. Here's the perfect opponent to get back on track against, as Bournemouth is 19th place in the standings, most recently coming off 1-0 shutout loss to Brighton Hove and Albion last week. Bournemouth is winless in the last six vs. the Magpies, and I expect that string of futility to continue here. This is just a bad matchup for Bournemouth, which is clearly in the wrong place, at the wrong time this weekend; lay the price, the play is Newcastle!
