02-17-17 | Canisius v. Rider OVER 160 | 85-77 | Win | 100 | 5 h 7 m | Show
CBB Total The over is 9-2-1 in the Canisius Golden Griffins last 12 road games and 6-1 in the Rider Broncs last seven home games. Canisius is scoring and conceding 80+ ppg on the road and I think we'll see plenty of points at Alumni Gymnasium tonight. |
02-16-17 | Portland State v. Montana State OVER 163 | 90-92 | Win | 100 | 11 h 52 m | Show
CBB Totals 3-Pack The over is 12-3-1 in the Portland State Vikings' last 16 road games and 10-3 in the Montana State Bobcats' last 13 home games. Over is 9-1-1 in the Vikings last 11 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and they're allowing 87.5 ppg on the road this season. |
02-16-17 | Oral Roberts v. Nebraska-Omaha OVER 169.5 | 76-83 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 54 m | Show
CBB Totals 3-Pack The over is 16-5 in the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles' last 21 overall and 13-3 in the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks' last 16 home games. Over is 13-6 in the Golden Eagles last 19 games as a road underdog of 0.5-6.5 points and 6-1 in the Mavericks last seven games as a home favorite of 0.5-6.5 points. The Mavericks are averaging 88.9 points per game home at Baxter Arena on the season, but also conceding 87.4 ppg. Four of the last five head-to-head meetings have gone over the total, and we saw a total of 189 points scored when Oral Roberts won the last meeting 103-86 at home back in January. |
02-16-17 | Wright State v. Youngstown State OVER 157.5 | 84-81 | Win | 100 | 10 h 31 m | Show
CBB Totals 3-Pack The over is 4-0 in the Wright State Raiders' last four overall and 5-2 in the Youngstown State Penguins' last seven overall. The Penguins are just 1-8 ATS in their last nine home games, and a big reason is because they're conceding 86.0 ppg home at Beeghly Physical Education Center. Six of the last eight head-to-head meetings have gone over the total, and this should be another high-scoring encounter. |
02-15-17 | St. John's v. Butler OVER 151.5 | 86-110 | Win | 100 | 12 h 3 m | Show
CBB Total 3-Pack The over is 7-0 in the St. John's Red Storm last seven games as a road underdog of 7.0-12.5 points and 8-3-1 in the Butler Bulldogs last 12 games as a favorite. St. John's averages a healthy 80.6 ppg on the road but they also allow 81.1 ppg. The Bulldogs should come out strong looking to revenge a three-point loss to the Red Storm in late December, and I think they'll drive up the tempo making this a high-scoring contest. |
02-15-17 | Iowa State v. Kansas State OVER 142 | 87-79 | Win | 100 | 10 h 27 m | Show
CBB Total 3-Pack The over is 5-1 in the Iowa State Cyclones last six road games and 5-0 in the Kansas State Wildcats last five games as a home favorite of 0.5-6.5 points. Four straight head-to-head meetings have gone under the total, but we should see points here with Iowa State averaging 78.4 ppg on the road this season while conceding 80.0 ppg. |
02-15-17 | North Dakota State v. IUPU Ft Wayne OVER 154.5 | 61-77 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 26 m | Show
CBB Total 3-Pack The over is 14-3 in the North Dakota State Bison's last 17 overall and 17-5 in the IUPU-Ft. Wayne Mastodons' last 22 games as a home favorite of 0.5-6.5 points. IUPU is a solid 12-2 straight up while averaging 91.1 ppg home at Hilliard Gates Sports Center on the season and four straight head-to-head meetings in the series have gone over the total. |
02-13-17 | Louisville v. Syracuse OVER 141 | Top | 76-72 | Win | 100 | 10 h 58 m | Show |
CBB Total The over is 4-1 in the Louisville Cardinals' last five overall and 6-1 in their last seven games as a favorite. The over is s 7-0-1 in the Syracuse Orange's last eight overall and 12-3-1 in their last 16 games as an underdog. I'm confident we'll see this ACC matchup go over the total Monday night. |
02-11-17 | Gonzaga -4 v. St. Mary's | 74-64 | Win | 100 | 13 h 59 m | Show
CBB *HARDWOOD HAMMER* The Gonzaga Bulldogs are a perfect 25-0 SU on the season and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games as a road favorite of 0.5-6.5 points. On Saturday they'll visit the St. Mary's Gaels who are 22-2 SU on the season, but only 1-4 ATS in their last five games as an underdog of 0.5-6.5 points. The Bulldogs are 10-1 against the spread in their last 11 meetings with the Gaels, and I predict a double-digit blowout in this contest. |

02-04-17 | Arkansas v. Missouri OVER 148 | 78-83 | Win | 100 | 5 h 24 m | Show
CBB Total The over is 3-1 in the Arkansas Razorbacks' last four games, but under is 9-3 in their last 12 road games. Here they'll visit a Missouri Tigers team coming off an embarrassing 93-54 loss at Florida, and the under is 5-1 in the Tigers' last six games following a straight up loss of more than 20 points. I think we'll see this game go under the posted number. |
02-02-17 | Gonzaga -8.5 v. BYU | 85-75 | Win | 100 | 11 h 5 m | Show
Late Night CBB The Gonzaga Bulldogs will visit Brigham Young Cougars Thursday night, and I think we'll see a blowout win for the visitors. Gonzaga is a perfect 22-0 SU on the season and 7-1 ATS in its last eight road games. The Zags routed Pepperdine 96-49 on the road on Saturday and are 6-0 ATS in their last six games after scoring more than 90 points in their previous game. They'll face a BYU team that has won three of its last four, but failed to cover the 11-point spread in a 85-77 home win against LSU on Saturday. The Cougars are 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a straight up win and 0-5 ATS in their last five games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. I don't like their chances in this matchup. |
02-01-17 | Florida State +3 v. Miami (Fla) | 75-57 | Win | 100 | 8 h 38 m | Show
CBB *BANKROLL BUILDER* The Florida State Seminoles will be looking to find their way back into the win column after back-to-back defeats as favorites at Georgia Tech and Syracuse. They're on the road again Wednesday night, but at least back home in Florida and they're 6-2 ATS in their last eight games as a road underdog of 0.5-6.5 points. They'll take on a Miami-Florida Hurricanes team that is coming off back-to-back wins and upset North Carolina 77-62 as a 5.5-point dog their last time out. Let down spot here, and they're 0-4 ATS in their last four games as a favorite of 0.5-6.5 points. The underdog is 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven meetings, and I'm taking the points on the Seminoles in this contest. |
01-31-17 | Toledo v. Ball State OVER 160 | 80-81 | Win | 100 | 9 h 21 m | Show
CBB Total Over is 6-1 in the Toledo Rockets last seven overall and 6-0 in Ball State Cardinals' last six overall. Over is 12-4 in the last 16 meetings between the two teams. Let's go with the over in this contest. |
01-30-17 | Georgia State v. South Alabama OVER 143 | 83-80 | Win | 100 | 10 h 52 m | Show
CBB Total (50% OFF) The over is 7-1 in the Georgia State Panthers last eight overall and 7-3 in the South Alabama Jaguars last 10 overall. I think this will be another high-scoring contest. |
01-29-17 | Green Bay -5 v. Detroit | 92-93 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 32 m | Show
CBB *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Wisconsin Green Bay Phoenix are coming off back-to-back wins, and they handed Oakland an 80-72 defeat as an 8-point underdog on Friday. Green Bay is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games as a road favorite of 0.5-6.5. Here they'll visit a Detroit Titans team that is just 2-5 ATS in its last seven games as an underdog, and the Titans have dropped three straight. Friday's 73-69 home loss to Milwaukee went to OT, and that setback could affect the home team here, both mentally and physically. Take the road favorite in this contest. |
01-29-17 | Michigan v. Michigan State -135 | 62-70 | Win | 100 | 4 h 15 m | Show
Super Early CBB Michigan/Michigan State The Michigan State Spartans host the Michigan Wolverines Sunday afternoon. They're coming off three consecutive losses, the most recent a 84-73 setback as a 1.5-point home dog against Purdue, but the Spartans are 4-0 ATS in their last four games as a home favorite and 6-2 ATS in their last eight following a double-digit loss at home. The Wolverines have won three of their last four games, and covered the spread in each of the last three games. Michigan defeated Indiana 90-60 as a 4-point favorite on Thursday, but the Wolverines are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a straight up win of more than 20 points and 1-5 ATS in their last six games as a road underdog of 0.5-6.5. |

Top Rated 10* ACC *GAME OF THE MONTH* The Florida State Seminoles have failed to cover the spread in each of their last two games, but they're still 12-5 ATS in their last 17 home games. Saturday's opponent, the Louisville Cardinals, are in a let down spot following a massive 92-60 win as a 5-point favorite against Clemson. The Cardinals are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games as a road underdog of 0.5-6.5 points. Louisville must have to do without second leading scorer Quentin Snider who is out for two to three weeks with a hip injury. I don't think the Cards will be able to match FSU's powerful offense without him. FSU BIG! |
01-21-17 | Nebraska -110 v. Rutgers | 64-65 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 18 m | Show
Super Early Big Ten *BANKROLL BUILDER* The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have lost all of their last seven games, five of them by double digits. They'll host a Nebraska Cornhuskers squad looking to get back on track after three straight losses, but they're 5-0 ATS in their last five road games. Nebraska has won the last five meetings, and I think the Cornhuskers will extend that winning streak in the series today. |

01-19-17 | Gonzaga -12.5 v. Santa Clara | 88-57 | Win | 100 | 11 h 56 m | Show
CBB *LATE SHOW* The Gonzaga Bulldogs have been unstoppable this season and they look to record their 18th consecutive victory when they visit Santa Clara Thursday night. The Zags are 22-5 ATS in their last 27 games as a favorite while the Broncos are 1-4 ATS in their last five games as an underdog of 7.0-12.5. The Bulldogs have recorded 11 wins by 20 or more points, and although the Broncos gave them all sorts of problems in the last meeting here at Leavey Center I expect a blowout win for the Bulldogs this time around. |

01-14-17 | Xavier +4.5 v. Butler | 78-83 | Loss | -107 | 4 h 2 m | Show
CBB *DOG OF THE DAY* The Xavier Musketeers had won six on the bounce before a 79-54 setback as an 8-point dog at Villanova on Tuesday. "Well, the annual Villanova (butt) kicking. I'm getting really tired of it," Musketeers coach Chris Mack said at the beginning of his postgame press conference, and I think he'll have his team fired up today. The Bulldogs are also coming off a loss, a 75-64 setback at Creighton, and they've covered the spread in just one of the last 12 meetings with Xavier. Home or away has not mattered much as Xacier is 6-1 ATS in the last seven at Hinkle Fieldhouse. We can also note that Xavier is 6-2-1 ATS in its last nine games as a road underdog of 0.5-6.5 points. Take the points on the visitors. |
01-14-17 | Minnesota v. Penn State OVER 142 | 50-52 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 29 m | Show
Super Early CBB Total **12 PM EST START** The Minnesota Golden Gophers have lost just three games on the season, but they'll be looking to bounce back from a 65-47 loss at MSU on Wednesday. Over is 5-2 in Golden Gophers last seven games after scoring less than 50 points in their previous game and 7-2 in their last nine vs. a team with a winning straight up record. The 10-7 Penn State Nittany Lions have played five overs through their last seven games, and they average a healthy 77.6 points per game home at Bryce Jordan Center. |
01-11-17 | Michigan -2.5 v. Illinois | 69-85 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 55 m | Show
CBB *EASY MONEY* The Michigan Wolverines are coming off a 77-70 home loss to Maryland as an 8-point favorite and they've failed to cover the spread in four straight games. They're however 5-2 ATS in their last seven games as a road favorite of 0.5-6.5 points and 10-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings with the Illinois Fighting Illini who are 8-25 ATS in their last 33 games as a home underdog of 0.5-6.5 points. Illinois has lost two of its first three games in Big Ten action by an average margin of 20.5 points. I don't like their chances of keeping this a close game. |

01-10-17 | Xavier +8 v. Villanova | Top | 54-79 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 54 m | Show |
Top Rated 10* CBB *GAME OF THE WEEK* The 13-2 Xavier Musketeeers are visiting the 15-1 Villanova Wildcats Tuesday night, and I think the visitors are catching too many points to pass up on here. Xavier is 7-3-1 ATS in its last 11 games as a road underdog and the Musketeers have covered the spread in each of their last four games. Villanova bounced back from a 66-58 loss at Butler with a 93-81 win against Marquette on Saturday, but the Wildcats are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. |
01-09-17 | Quinnipiac +7 v. St. Peter's | 54-58 | Win | 100 | 8 h 45 m | Show
CBB *BANKROLL BUILDER* Quinnipiac is playing good basketball at the moment, winning two of its last three, the most recent a 81-71 win against Manhattan as a 2-point home favorite. The Bobcats have had good success against the spread on the road this season and are 5-0 ATS in their last five games as a road underdog of 7.0-12.5 points. St. Peter's Peacocks is shooting just 39.3% from the floor and the Bobcats should have an advantage on the glass. An outright upset is far-fetched, but I like Quinnipiac to cover the spread. |

01-04-17 | Iowa State +9 v. Baylor | 63-65 | Win | 100 | 5 h 24 m | Show
CBB *DOG OF THE DAY* The Iowa State Cyclones are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games as a road underdog of 7.0-12.5 while the Baylor Bears are 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a home favorite of 7.0-12.5. Baylor leads the Big 12 and ranks fifth nationally in scoring defense, allowing an average of 58.4 points, but the Cyclones are strong on the defensive end of the court as well allowing just 82.5 points per game, and they're fifth nationally in field-goal percentage defense at 36.6 percent. This is too many points for Butler to give up in what should be a defensive battle. |
01-04-17 | Villanova -130 v. Butler | 58-66 | Loss | -130 | 4 h 9 m | Show
CBB The Villanova Wildcats are a perfect 14-0 SU and 8-5 ATS on the season. They're 33-13-1 ATS in their last 47 games as a road favorite and should get the job done as a small favorite here at Butler. The Bulldogs are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600 and the Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. |
01-03-17 | North Carolina -140 v. Clemson | 89-86 | Win | 100 | 7 h 0 m | Show
ACC *ANNIHILATOR* The North Carolina Tar Heels will take on the Clemson Tigers at Littlejohn Coliseum Tuesday night, and I think this looks like a favorable spot for UNC. The Tar Heels will be looking to bounce back from a 75-63 upset loss as a 17-point favorite against Georgia Tech so they should come out strong here. The Tigers meanwhile trailed by 10 with under five minutes to go Saturday before scoring the game’s final 15 points for a 73-68 win at Wake Forest for their ninth straight win. A sense of accomplishment might sneak into the Clemson team at this point, and I'm backing the more motivated Tar Heels. We can also note that UNC is 6-1-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. |
01-02-17 | Siena v. Canisius -130 | 79-82 | Win | 100 | 4 h 35 m | Show
CBB The Canisius Golden Griffins are coming off five consecutive wins (7-1 L8), and they're 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall. The Siena Saints are a pathetic 0-8 SU on the road this season. They've struggled with their shooting lately, particularly from behind the arc while Canisius is knocking down 40 percent of 3-pointers to average 80.6 points per game on the season. |
12-20-16 | Creighton -7.5 v. Arizona State | 96-85 | Win | 100 | 16 h 22 m | Show
NCAAB *HARDWOOD HAMMER* The Creighton Bluejays are 11-0 on the season, but they had to fight hard for the W as a 24.5-point home favorite against Oral Roberts on Saturday. Creighton walked away as a 66-65 winner in the end, and I expect a much better performance here as they're 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games following a ATS loss. Arizona State on the other hand has struggled to cover spreads all season long, and the team is 3-12-1 ATS in its last 16 games as an underdog last season included. Creighton has the eighth most prolific offense in the nation in averaging 89.3 points per game. Arizona State's D meanwhile ranks among the worst in the NCAA, and I expect Creighton to run away with a big win here. |
12-18-16 | Mercer v. Auburn -10.5 | 74-76 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 56 m | Show
College Basketball *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Auburn Tigers will host Mercer Bears Sunday afternoon, and my money is on the home team to win and cover the spread. Auburn is 4-1 ATS in its last five games as a home favorite of 7.0-12.5 while Mercer is 3-12-1 ATS in its last 16 games as a road underdog. Auburn tied an SEC record with 21 3-pointers and shot 55.6 percent in Thursday's 117-72 blowout victory as an 11.5-point favorite against Coastal Carolina. Mercer fell 90-47 at Clemson on Dec. 10, and I'm not sure that much rest is beneficial. |
12-11-16 | Hofstra v. Kentucky -25 | 73-96 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 19 m | Show
CBB The No. 7 Kentucky Wildcats will take on Hofstra Pride at Barclays Center in Brooklyn Sunday afternoon. Kentucky is coming off a 87-63 win against Valparaiso as it bounced back from a 97-92 loss to UCLA. Hofstra meanwhile had won four straight before coming up short in a 81-71 loss to St. Bonaventure last Tuesday. The Wildcats are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games as a favorite of 13 points or greater and 6-1 ATS in their last seven neutral site games as a favorite. I think the loss to UCLA as an 11-point favorite worked as a wake up call for the Wildcats, and I don't see them underestimating any team in the nearest future. "Coming off the loss, we wanted to get things rolling early," Kentucky’s senior forward Derek Willis told reporters after the win against Valparaiso. "We keyed in on the things we messed up last game against UCLA. We came out a lot more focused and had way more energy." The Wildcats are the superior team by a mile, and I expert them to cover the spread. |
12-09-16 | Wake Forest v. NC-Greensboro +9.5 | 78-75 | Win | 100 | 7 h 7 m | Show
College Basketball UNC Greensboro Spartans will host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Friday night, and I think this looks like an excellent spot to take the points on the home team. The Spartans average more than 10 made 3-pointers per contest this season and they're shooting 39 percent from behind the arc. They're coming off six consecutive wins, the most recent a 108-56 demolition of Mars Hill as junior forward Marvin Smith led the team with 23 points and made five of his six attempts from behind the arc. Wake Forest has won each of its last two and four of its last six games. It's however worth noting that the Demon Deacons are just 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games following a straight up win. No one has managed to score more than 66 on the Spartans this season, and I think they'll be able to keep this a closer game than the spread would indicate. Take the points on the home team. |
12-07-16 | TCU v. SMU -3.5 | 59-74 | Win | 100 | 8 h 43 m | Show
CBB The TCU Horned Frogs are still undefeated on the season, but they've been favored in all those games I think their winning streak is about to end as they visit SMU Mustangs Wednesday night. TCU is coming off a dominant 77-54 win against Arizona State, a matcup that closed out a three-game homestand. The Horned Frogs are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games following three or more consecutive home games and 0-6 ATS in their last six games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. SMU is a perfect 5-0 at home on the season and 5-1 ATS in its last six home games. SMU has won back-to-back games, allowing an average of 51.5 points in the process, and I can see the Mustangs shut down TCU here and run away with the victory. |
12-07-16 | Butler v. Indiana State +10.5 | 71-72 | Win | 100 | 7 h 52 m | Show
CBB The Indiana State Sycamores will host No. 15 Butler Bulldogs Wednesday night, and I think this looks like a good spot to take the points on the home team. Indiana State is 5-0 ATS in its last five games as an underdog and the team is coming off back-to-back victories, the most recent a 62-61 win at Utah State as a 5.5-point underdog. The Bulldogs are a perfect 8-0 on the season and they're clearly the superior team, but the backdoor will be wide open and note that while Indiana State has four losses on the season, the defeats have com by a total of 10 points. |
12-06-16 | Bowling Green v. Evansville -4.5 | 66-69 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 8 m | Show
College Basketball *BOOKIE BREAKER* The Evansville Purple Aces are a perfect 4-0 straight up at home this season, covering the spread each time. The Bowling Green Falcons meanwhile have yet to win a game on the road this season with their average loss being at 14.3 points per game. Evansville has been playing solid D all season and held Boise State to 36.8 percent shooting from the field in a 72-67 win its last time out. Bowling Green shot just 36.8 percent from the field while allowing Cincinnati to shoot 55.7 percent in a 85-5 loss last last Sunday. Look for Evansville to take command early and run away with the game. |
12-05-16 | Connecticut v. Syracuse -8.5 | 52-50 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 28 m | Show
CBB *PLAY OF THE DAY* The Syracuse Orange are 5-2 on the season. I like them to win and cover the spread here against the 3-4 Connecticut Huskies. The Huskies are 1-5 ATS in their last six games as an underdog while the Orange are 4-1 ATS in their last five games as a favorite. UConn is banged up and won without impressing in a 51-49 victory over Boston University its last time out. The Orange meanwhile are coming off a 77-71 win against North Florida and led by as many as 24 points in the second half before slowing down. The Orange know they can't allow the Huskies to stay close here, and I expect the Orange to dominate this game from start to finish. |
11-30-16 | SMU -5 v. Boise State | 62-71 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 41 m | Show
College Basketball *MONEYMAKER* SMU Mustangs will visit Boise St. Broncos Wednesday night, and I like the Mustangs in this matchup. The Mustangs have dropped two of their past three games, against Michigan and USC. They're however 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as a favorite and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a straight up loss. The Broncos are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games as an underdog in the 0.5-6.5 range. |
11-28-16 | Minnesota v. Florida State -8.5 | 67-75 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 55 m | Show
College Basketball *HARDWOOD HAMMER* The Minnesota Golden Gophers look like a much improved team from the side that finished last season with an 8-23 record. They're a perfect 6-0 through their first games of the season, but keep in mind that each of those games have been at home. I think they'll come up short here when visiting the talented Florida State Seminoles. Note that the Golden Gophers are 0-4-1 ATS in their last five road games following three or more consecutive home games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games after allowing less than 50 points in their previous game, which they are coming off a 57-45 win over Southern Illinois. FSU is 6-1 ATS in its last seven home games and returns home from a solid 72-61 win at Illinois. Take the home team to cover a rather large spread. |
11-14-16 | Western Michigan +7 v. Oakland | 60-77 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 31 m | Show
College Basketball The Western Michigan Broncos are coming off a 90-74 victory against Marygrove College in their season opener, and they outrebounded their opponent 57-33. The team returns four starters from last season and the Broncos have one of the best players in the MAC in Thomas Wilder. He had a fairly quiet first game, but managed 12 points in 23 minutes and he averaged 18.0 points per game last season. The Golden Grizzlies opened the season with a 78-70 win against Bowling Green as they just barely failed to cover the closing line of eight points. They've lost a couple of key pieces during the off-season and I think they're in for a very tough game here. |
11-13-16 | Holy Cross v. South Carolina -13 | 49-81 | Win | 100 | 18 h 35 m | Show
CBB Crusaders/Gamecocks The South Carolina Gamecocks will host the Holy Cross Crusaders Sunday night, and my money is on the home team to win and cover the spread. Holy Cross finished last season strong and can return four starters from the team that managed to win the Patriot League Championship as the 9-seed. The Crusaders are easily outmatched when facing teams from the stronger conferences though, and while this will be the their first game of the season the Gamecocks have one game under their belt already as they defeated Louisiana Tech 85-76 on Friday. South Carolina has lost some pieces from last year’s team, but the most important player is still there in Sindarius Thornwell who scored 18 points with seven boards and six assists in the season opener. The Gamecocks are 20-6 ATS in their last 26 non-conference games, and I think they'll roll over Holy Cross with ease tonight. |
04-04-16 | Villanova v. North Carolina -2.5 | 77-74 | Loss | -109 | 31 h 40 m | Show
NCAA Tourney Final The North Carolina Tar Heels are coming into the NCAA Tourney Final as a small favorite against the Villanova Wildcats, and I think they'll win comfortably. Villanova has better shooting from behind the arc, but I don't see them being able to stop the Tar Heels on the inside. |
04-02-16 | Syracuse +9.5 v. North Carolina | Top | 66-83 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 38 m | Show |
CBB *GAME OF THE YEAR* I like the Syracuse Orange to give the North Carolina Tar Heels a run for their money in this Final Four matchup Saturday night. This will be the third meeting of the season. The Tar Heels won the first game, 84-73 on the road and 75-70 from Chapel Hill later in the season. Syracuse is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings. North Carolina is the only No. 1 seed in this Final Four and the ACC's highest-scoring team at 83 points a game, but I think they'll struggle with Syracuse's solid defense. |
03-31-16 | George Washington v. Valparaiso -125 | 76-60 | Loss | -125 | 16 h 28 m | Show
NIT Final This is it, the National Invitational Tournament final featuring two schools eyeing their first NIT championship in ever! I like Valparaiso here as they're playing with a point to prove after the NCAA Tournament snub. They had recorded three consecutive double-digit NIT wins prior to Tuesday's 72-70 victory over Brigham Young in the semifinals. "Obviously, we would have rather made the NCAA Tournament but this really adds to the legacy of our seniors and that's what I really feel good about," coach Mike Lonergan said Wednesday. "Getting to New York was probably what we really needed to do, for me, to have a good summer." George Washington is no doubt a talented team, but we can note that it is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 2-9 ATS in its last 11 games after allowing less than 50 points in their previous game. That does not bode well coming off a 65-46 win against San Diego State. The Colonials have the better defense of the two teams, but the Crusaders offense is superior and I think they'll run away with the game once they can create a gap. |
03-26-16 | Villanova v. Kansas -128 | 64-59 | Loss | -128 | 21 h 36 m | Show
Elite 8 *HARDWOOD HAMMER* I trust the Kansas Jayhawks to get the job done and defeat the Villanova Wildcats here to advance to the Final Four of the NCAA Tourney. Villanova has impressed so far in the tournament but is 1-4 ATS in its last five Saturday games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Big 12 teams. The Wilcats have been putting up incredible numbers from behind the arc but I don't see them being able to keep that up much longer. Kansas is 14-3 ATS in its last 17 games overall, 6-2 ATS in its last eight Saturday games and 9-3 ATS in its last 12 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Two very talented teams, but I'm giving the edge to the Jayhawks. |
03-25-16 | Indiana v. North Carolina -5.5 | 86-101 | Win | 101 | 17 h 31 m | Show
NCAA Tourney *CA$H COW* The No. 1 seeded North Carolina Tar Heels will take on No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers Friday night, and I expect an easy win for the top seeded team. North Carolina won its seventh straight game on Saturday with a solid 85-66 win against No. 9 Providence. They're 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. They've averaged more than 82 points and 64 shots a game this season and have limited 27 straight opponents to less than 45 percent shooting from the field. This team got what it takes to take down the whole tourney and albeit being a solid team, I don't think the Hoosiers can compete with them tonight. The only advantage I can see for the visitors are their shooting from behind the arc, but they were only 6-for-21 from 3-point land in Saturday's win against Kentucky. |
03-25-16 | Gonzaga -4.5 v. Syracuse | Top | 60-63 | Loss | -110 | 108 h 15 m | Show |
NCAA Tourney Sweet 16 *GAME OF THE YEAR* I like the Gonzaga Bulldogs to pick up a dominant win against the Syracuse Orange Friday night to move into the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs have started the tourney by defeating the number six seed Seton Hall Pirates by a score of 68-52 and destroying the number three seed Utah 82-59. They're 7-0 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Orange are off a 70-51 victory over number seven seed Dayton followed by a 75-50 win over number 15 seed Middle Tennessee State. They're just 1-4 ATS in their last five NCAA Tournament games as an underdog though and I think they'll struggle with a Zags team that are shooting the ball better and will dominate the boards. Gonzaga averages nine more points per game than Syracuse this season, and combine that with a superior defense for the Zags and I'm sure you'll agree that this is an easy play on the Bulldogs. |
03-25-16 | Wisconsin v. Notre Dame UNDER 131.5 | 56-61 | Win | 100 | 10 h 19 m | Show
NCAAB Total Both the Wisconsin Badgers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have made it here to the Sweet 16 thanks to solid defensive performances. Wisconsin defeated Pittsburgh 47-43 in the first round before upsetting the #2 seed Xavier with a 66-63 win Sunday. Under is 10-1 in the Badgers last 11 overall and 5-1 in their last six neutral site games. Notre Dame is off a 70-63 win against Michigan followed by a 76-75 win against Stephen F. Austin. Under is 7-3 in the Fighting Irish last 10 overall and 15-5-1 in their last 21 NCAA Tournament games. I expect the solid defending from both teams to continue and we should see this contest stay under the total. |

03-19-16 | Connecticut v. Kansas -8 | 61-73 | Win | 100 | 17 h 33 m | Show
CBB *HARDWOOD HAMMER* Ninth seeded Connecticut Huskies will be matched up against the top seeded Kansas Jayhawks Saturday and this should be a very one-sided affair. The Huskies are riding a five-game winning streak and downed eighth seed Colorado 74-67 Thursday. None of the wins were against teams with a winning record though and we can note that they're 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 as an underdog. The Jayhawks are 12-3 ATS last 15 overall and off a 105-79 drubbing of the 16th seeded Austin Peay. The Jayhawks haven’t lost since an 85-72 defeat at Iowa State on Jan. 25, and are averaging 85.3 points over their last six outings. I don't see how the Huskies will be able to keep up with this superior team, particularly considering the schedule has allowed Kansas to rest key players while Connecticut has played tons of tough matchups. |
03-19-16 | Indiana v. Kentucky -160 | 73-67 | Loss | -160 | 16 h 34 m | Show
CBB *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Indiana Hoosiers are off a solid 99-74 victory over 12th-seeded Chattanooga in Thursday's opener. They're however only 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS win and 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings with the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky trounced No. 13 seed Stony Brook 85-57 and are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a ATS win. The Wildcats have a deeper team and should win this contest behind their superior defense. |
03-18-16 | Syracuse v. Dayton -120 | 70-51 | Loss | -120 | 11 h 28 m | Show
CBB *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Syracuse Orange will take on the Dayton Flyers Friday afternoon, and I like Dayton in this matchup. The Orange are 4-15 ATS in their last 19 vs. Atlantic 10 while the Flyers are 5-0 ATS in their last five vs. Atlantic Coast. This is also a good day of the week for Dayton which is 4-1-1 ATS in its last six Friday games. Syracuse is stumbling into the tournament losing five of its last six games while Dayton made it to the Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinal where it lost to eventual champion St. Joseph’s. |
03-17-16 | Stony Brook v. Kentucky -14 | 57-85 | Win | 100 | 21 h 47 m | Show
NCAA East Region *HARDWOOD HAMMER* I predict an absolute massacre when the Kentucky Wildcats will take on the Stony Brook Seawolves in this East Region NCAA Tournament matchup Thursday night. The Seawolves are 0-5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall while the Wildcats are 5-0 ATS in their last five. The SEC tournament champions have an experienced squad and coaches having reached the Final Four in each of their last four NCAA Tournament appearances while Stony Brook is making its first NCAA Tournament appearance. |
03-17-16 | Butler -4 v. Texas Tech | 71-61 | Win | 100 | 10 h 51 m | Show
CBB *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* S-P-E-C-I-A-L The Butler Bulldogs are 5-1 ATS in their last six overall and I like them to win and cover the spread against the Texas Tech Red Raiders Thursday afternoon. Texas Tech are 1-3 SU in its last four games and fell to last-place TCU in the Big 12 tournament. It is 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight vs. Big East and 3-13 ATS in its last 16 neutral site games. The Bulldogs had won three straight prior to a 74-60 loss to Providence in their conference tourney, but there's no shame in losing to such a strong team and they're 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games following a straight up loss. |
03-15-16 | Florida v. North Florida +8.5 | 97-68 | Loss | -102 | 9 h 23 m | Show
NIT *DESTROYER* Let's take the points on North Florida Osprey against Florida Gators Tuesday night. North Florida lead the nation with 402 made 3-pointers and are averaging 84.8 points per game. Florida is very inconsistent both defensively and offensively and will struggle to stop the Osprey's shooting from behind the perimeter. Gators are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |
03-13-16 | Kentucky -3.5 v. Texas A&M | 82-77 | Win | 100 | 9 h 10 m | Show
CBB *HARDWOOD HAMMER* This looks like a good spot to back the Kentucky Wildcats in the SEC Tournament final. The Wildcats are a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last four overall and 20-8 ATS in their last 28 Sunday games. They'll be looking to revenge a 79-77 in overtime loss to Texas A&M on Feb. 20. The Aggies are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall and off a 71-38 demolition of LSU yesterday. We can however note that Texas A&M is 3-9-1 ATS in its last 13 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. The reigning SEC Tournament the Wildcats are playing in the SEC tournament final for the sixth time in coach John Calipari’s seven years as head coach. The Aggies meanwhile are in their first conference tournament final since 1990. Easy play on the more experienced Wildcats. |
03-12-16 | Connecticut v. Temple +3.5 | Top | 77-62 | Loss | -116 | 15 h 41 m | Show |
CBB *PLAY OF THE DAY* Extremely tough spot for the UConn Huskies here as they're off a four-overtime 104-97 win against Cincinnati yesterday. They're 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. The top seeded Temple Owls had a smoother ride as they took off with a 79-62 win against South Florida yesterday. They're 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and they swept the regular season 55-53 and 63-58. |
03-11-16 | Kansas -5 v. Baylor | Top | 66-70 | Loss | -101 | 17 h 57 m | Show |
Top Rated CBB Friday I expect to see an easy win for the top-ranked Kansas Jayhawks as they take on the No. 20 Baylor Bears Friday night. The Jayhawks won both meetings during the regular season, 102-74 at home and 66-60 on the road. They're 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven meetings and took care of business easily yesterday with an 85-63 win against Kansas State. They're 5-0 ATS in their last five neutral site games and 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Bears impressed in a 75-61 win against the Longhorns, but they're 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following a straight up win and 0-4 ATS in their last four Friday games. Kansas is coming in hot, riding a 12-game winning streak, and it has dominated this series in recent seasons. Easy Kansas win. |
03-11-16 | Florida v. Texas A&M -4.5 | 66-72 | Win | 100 | 2 h 31 m | Show
CBB *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Texas A&M Aggies wrapped up the regular season with six straight wins (5-1 ATS). The Florida Gators are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 vs. teams with a winning record. Florida has won four of the six previous meetings but Texas A&M took a 71-68 home win in the lone meeting this season and the Aggies have the advantage of coming in well rested since a 76-67 win at home over Vanderbilt Saturday while the Gators fought back Arkansas 68-61 yesterday. |
03-11-16 | South Florida v. Temple -11 | 62-79 | Win | 100 | 1 h 55 m | Show
Super Early CBB This should be an easy win for the Temple Owls. The South Florida Bulls are coming off a 71-66 win against East Carolina yesterday while Temple is coming in well rested. The Owls won the two regular season meetings 70-63 and 77-65. A bigger win is in the cards today. |
03-10-16 | Alabama v. Ole Miss -2.5 | 81-73 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 55 m | Show
NCAAB 3-Pack The Ole Miss Rebels will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the second round of the SEC Tournament Thursday evening. Ole Miss is entering the tournament as winners of four of its last five and it's 9-3-1 ATS in its last 13 overall. Alabama on the other hand struggled down the stretch (0-5 ATS last five) and rely too much on senior guard Retin Obasohan. The Rebels have a more balanced team and have owned the Crimson Tie in recent seasons, winning seven of the last 10 head-to-head meetings, a 74-66 home victory on Jan. 7 included. |
03-10-16 | Penn State +6 v. Ohio State | 75-79 | Win | 100 | 14 h 25 m | Show
NCAAB 3-Pack I'm taking the points on Penn State Nittany Lions against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Big 10 Tournament Thursday night. Penn State will be looking to revenge a 66-46 loss to the Buckeyes on Jan. 25. It won four of its last six regular season games and is 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 neutral site games. The Buckeyes on the other hand are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 neutral site games. Ohio State wrapped up the season winning six of seven with the lone loss against Michigan State. This spread looks too large though so I recommend taking the the points on the Nittany Lions. |
03-10-16 | Northwestern v. Michigan -2 | 70-72 | Push | 0 | 8 h 56 m | Show
NCAAB 3-Pack This looks like a good spot to back the Michigan Wolverines as they take on the Northwestern Wildcats in the second round of the Big 10 Tournament. The Wolverines beat Northwestern 72-63 in their only meeting of the season. They lost four of five games down the stretch of the regular season, the most recent a 71-61 setback against Iowa. We can however note that they're 14-5 ATS last 19 following a double-digit loss at home. and a solid 27-9-1 ATS last 37 Thursday games. The Wildcats meanwhile are only 4-10 ATS last 14 Thursday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |
03-09-16 | Syracuse v. Pittsburgh -2 | 71-72 | Loss | -107 | 13 h 48 m | Show
Super Early *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Pittsburgh Panthers have already defeated the Syracuse Orange twice this season (72-61 & 66-52). I expect them to get the job done in the second round of the ACC Tournament at Greensboro Coliseum Wednesday afternoon. The Orange are coming into this contest as losers of two in a row and four of their last five games. They're 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against teams with winning records and 6-19-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings with the Panthers. Pittsburgh is coming off back-to-back losses at the hands of Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech, but it is 10-2 ATS in its last 12 games following an ATS loss and 4-1 ATS in its last five neutral site games. Syracuse is struggling with its rebounding game and has been out-rebounded by a combined margin of 205 to 149 over its last five games. Pitt won the battle on the boards 43 to 23 in the last meeting and such grittiness and determination should prove crucial in this matchup. |
03-07-16 | BYU v. Gonzaga -3 | 84-88 | Win | 100 | 20 h 7 m | Show
CBB *HARDWOOD HAMMER* I like the Gonzaga Bulldogs as they host the BYU Cougars in the West Coast Conference Tournament Monday night. The Zags are a fantastic 10-1 ATS in their last 11 Monday games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Cougars are a lowly 1-6 ATS in their last seven Monday games and just 3-8-1 ATS in the last 12 head-to-head meetings with the Zags. The Bulldogs won 71-68 at BYU on Feb. 27 and should get the job done in their own gymnasium tonight. |
03-06-16 | Temple -6 v. Tulane | 64-56 | Win | 100 | 4 h 56 m | Show
CBB *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Temple Owls have already claimed the top seed in the AAC tourney but I think they'll come to play when visiting last-place Tulane Green Wave Sunday afternoon. The Owls have won three of four since a non-conference loss to then-No. 1 Villanova, the most recent a 10-point victory against Memphis. They're 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games vs. a team with a losing home record while the Green Wave have lost three of their last four at home and they're 7-20-1 ATS in their last 28 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. There's a huge difference in quality between these two teams, and homecourt advantage won't be nearly enough to make up for it. |

03-05-16 | Santa Clara v. BYU -15 | 60-72 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 49 m | Show
CBB *HARDWOOD HAMMER* I'm looking for the BYU Cougars to absolutely annihilate the Santa Clara Cougars in their West Coast Conference tournament quarterfinal Saturday afternoon. BYU swept the season series this year, winning 97-61 at home January 7 and 96-62 on the road February 13, and it should get the job done on neutral ground in Vegas today. The Cougars closed out the regular season with a loss 71-68 home loss to Gonzaga, but they're 6-0-1 ATS in their last seven after a straight up loss and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 after an ATS loss. |
03-03-16 | California v. Arizona -6 | 61-64 | Loss | -112 | 18 h 8 m | Show
PAC-12 *HARDWOOD HAMMER* The Arizona Wildcats will come into this contest looking to revenge a 74-73 loss at Berkeley on Jan. 23. They're still 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and we can note that they were without freshman guard Allonzo Trier who has averaged 18 points over his last five games. The California Golden Bears are far worse on the road than at home sitting on a 3-8 SU record away from Haas Pavilion. They're 1-4 ATS in their last five road games vs. a team with a winning home record while the Wildcats are a solid 15-1 SU at home and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. The Wildcats are off back-to-back losses at Colorado and Utah, but I expect them to win big in their own building Thursday night. |
03-02-16 | Creighton v. Providence -3 | 66-70 | Win | 100 | 10 h 2 m | Show
CBB *HARDWOOD HAMMER* The Providence Friars will close out their home schedule with a matchup against the Creighton Bluejays Wednesday night, and I think they'll want to put on a show for the home town crowd. Providence has already defeated Creighton once this season, a 50-48 road win on Jan. 12, and it is 10-3 ATS in its last 13 home games vs. a team with a losing road record (Creighton is 4-6 SU on the road). They're off a 87-66 blowout victory over DePaul and have usually been able to capitalize on the momentum gained from big wins as they're 6-2 ATS in their last eight games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. The Bluejays ended a two-game losing streak with a 100-59 rout of St. John’s at home Saturday, but this won't be an easy game and we can note that they're 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings with the Friars. |
02-29-16 | Syracuse v. North Carolina -13 | 70-75 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 50 m | Show
CBB *HARDWOOD HAMMER* I'm gonna take a stab at the North Carolina Tar Heels as they host the Syracuse Orange Monday night. The Tar Heels are off a 79-74 loss at Virginia Saturday, but keep in mind that when North Carolina lost to Duke at home on Feb. 17, they beat Miami by 25 in their next game. They need to win here to have any aspirations of winning the ACC and they beat the Orange 84-73 on the road on Jan. 9. Syracuse avoided a third straight loss Saturday when it defeated North Carolina State 75-66. It's just 4-11-1 ATS in its last 16 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 though and I expect the Tar Heels to make this a very one-sided affair. |
02-28-16 | Michigan v. Wisconsin -5 | 57-68 | Win | 100 | 16 h 29 m | Show
CBB The Michigan Wolverines put an end to a two game skid with a 72-63 home win over Northwestern Wednesday. They're just 1-4 ATS in their last five after a straight up win though and I don't like their chances at Wisconsin Sunday night. The Badgers won their second straight and ninth in the last 10 with a 67-59 road upset of #8 Iowa Wednesday. They're 8-1 ATS in their last nine after a straight up win and 7-1 ATS in their last eight vs. teams with a winning record. We can also note that they've dominated this series in recent seasons winning three straight and eight of the last 10 meetings. |
02-27-16 | Oklahoma v. Texas +1 | 63-76 | Win | 102 | 4 h 45 m | Show
CBB The Texas Longhorns are coming off a 71-70 victory at Kansas State on Monday. They'll enter this contest looking to revenge a 63-60 defeat in Norman earlier this season and I like their chances as they're 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a straight up win. The Oklahoma Sooners defeated Oklahoma State 71-49 at home on Wednesday, but they're 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a straight up win of more than 20 points and a lowly 3-11 ATS in their last 14 Saturday games. The Longhorns are 3-0 at home this season against top-20 ranked teams and I like them to take down the Sooners today. |

02-24-16 | Arizona v. Colorado +5 | 72-75 | Win | 100 | 9 h 50 m | Show
CBB This looks like a good spot to back the Colorado Buffaloes as they host the Arizona Wildcats Wednesday night. The Buffaloes will come in pissed off after a 77-53 loss to UCLA Saturday and they're 6-2-1 ATS last nine following a SU loss of more than 20 points. The Wildcats meanwhile are off a 99-61 win against rival Arizona State last Thursday which sets up a let down spot today. |
02-23-16 | Dayton -12.5 v. St. Louis | 52-49 | Loss | -106 | 14 h 51 m | Show
CBB I like the Dayton Flyers to bounce back from a pair of losses with big win at St. Louis Billikens Tuesday. The Flyers routed Saint Louis 73-37 on Jan. 27 and they're 3-1-1 ATS in their last five road games. The Billikens were on a five game losing streak heading into last week, when they managed pick up a pair of wins. They're just 3-9 ATS home at Chaifetz Arena this season though and this looks like it should be an easy win for the Flyers. |
02-23-16 | Rhode Island v. Davidson -3 | 54-65 | Win | 100 | 12 h 44 m | Show
CBB The Davidson Wildcats are a solid 13-1 SU at home and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. The Rhode Island Rams defeated Duquesne 77-74 at home their last time out but they're 3-10-2 ATS in their last 15 games following a straight up win and absolutely horrible on the road going 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. |

02-22-16 | Cleveland State v. Green Bay -13 | 61-78 | Win | 100 | 11 h 10 m | Show
NCAAB The Green Bay Phoenix have already defeated the Cleveland State Vikings once this season as they picked up an 87-67 road win on Jan. 7. The Vikings are coming off back-to-back blowout losses to Valparaiso and Milwaukee and they're 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Phoenix are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 Monday games and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six home games. They defeated Youngstown State 107-90 Saturday and another blowout win is in the cards tonight. |

02-22-16 | Texas v. Kansas State | Top | 71-70 | Win | 100 | 17 h 9 m | Show |
Top Rated BIG12 *GAME OF THE WEEK* The Kansas State Wildcats gave the Big 12-leading Kansas Jayhawks a scare but ended up a 72-63 loser Saturday. They're 1-3 SU since an 80-69 home upset of then-No. 1 Oklahoma on Feb. 6 and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall. They'll host a Texas Longhorns team going for a fourth consecutive win in the series and the Longhorns are an impressive 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall. Texas is coming off a 78-64 defeat to Baylor this past Saturday, but it's 6-2 ATS in its last eight games following a double-digit loss at home and 4-1 ATS in its last five road games. |
02-20-16 | Pittsburgh v. Syracuse -3 | 66-52 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 58 m | Show
CBB *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Syracuse Orange had won five straight and eight of nine prior to a 72-58 setback at Louisville Wednesday. They're still 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and they're coming into this game looking to revenge a 72-61 loss at Pittsburgh on Dec. 30. The Panthers had lost three straight prior to a demanding 101-96 2OT win against the 1-13 Wake Forest at home Tuesday. They may have recovered physically, but how about mentally after playing such a close game against a weak team? They're also fairly poor on the road and I expect the Orange to take this one down. |
02-19-16 | Iona v. Monmouth -5.5 | 83-67 | Loss | -115 | 19 h 55 m | Show
CBB *LATE SHOW* The Monmouth Hawks have won eight straight and are coming off a 79-70 win at home against Manhattan Monday. They're 17-5 ATS in their last 22 vs. teams with a winning record and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 Friday night games. They're 14-2 in conference play and can pretty much seal up the conference title with a win here against the 12-4 Iona. The Hawks claimed a 110-102 win on the road in the first meeting this season last month, and while the Gaels have won five of their last six, keep in mind that they're just 1-4 ATS in their last five on the road vs. teams with home winning percentage greater than .600 |
02-18-16 | St. Peter's v. Quinnipiac | 55-56 | Win | 100 | 13 h 2 m | Show
CBB This looks like a very tough spot for the St. Peter's Peacocks as they're coming straight off a 70-69 win against Manhattan last night. They're 4-16-1 ATS in their last 21 Thursday games and will face a much more rested Quinnipac Bobcats team that have been off since a 78-59 loss at Iona Monday. They've lost four straight and will be desperate to record a win, and I expect them to do some serious damage against the tired Peacocks tonight. |
02-17-16 | Nebraska v. Indiana -12.5 | Top | 64-80 | Win | 100 | 21 h 35 m | Show |
Rop Rated CBB This looks like a good spot to back the Indiana Hoosiers to destroy the Nebraska Cornhuskers home in Bloomington. The Hoosiers will be looking to bounce back from a 20-point loss to Michigan State on Sunday and they're 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a ATS loss. We can also note that they're a perfect 14-0 SU (10-4 ATS) at home this season and they won 79-69 at Nebraska on Jan. 2. They should win even bigger tonight when at home, plus the fact that the Cornhuskers will have to do without team captain and senior forward Shavon Shields due to a concussion. |
02-16-16 | Richmond v. Davidson -2 | 79-83 | Win | 100 | 18 h 10 m | Show
CBB 3-Pack I like Davidson Wildcats to win and cover the spread against the Richmond Spiders Tuesday night. Davidson had a two-game winning streak snapped in a 60-59 loss at George Mason on Saturday, but it's 3-1-1 ATS in its last five games following a straight up loss and 16-5 ATS in its last 21 Tuesday games. The Spiders are 0-7 ATS in their last seven Tuesday games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. They beat visiting Fordham 71-67 on Saturday to make it three consecutive wins, but keep in mind that the Wildcats have won 31 of their past 33 at home and their only loss there this year was by 10 to a very strong VCU team. They've covered the spread in four of the past five meetings with the Spiders and won 78-70 at Richmond on Jan. 25. |
02-16-16 | Eastern Michigan v. Ohio -5.5 | 64-86 | Win | 100 | 18 h 9 m | Show
CBB 3-Pack The Ohio Bobcats have won five of their last six (5-1 ATS) and recorded a third consecutive victory when they posted a 94-75 victory over Buffalo Friday night. They're 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and should have no trouble with Eastern Michigan Eagles who are just 3-9 SU on the road. They're 1-4 ATS in their last five awqay from home and 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. The home team has covered the spread in six of the last seven meetings between these two school, and this looks like a good spot to back the Bobcats. |
02-16-16 | Creighton +5.5 v. Butler | 75-88 | Loss | -106 | 18 h 9 m | Show
CBB 3-Pack The Creighton Bluejays are coming off a 65-62 victory over Marquette last weekend, their first win this entire season by fewer than eight points. They average 79.9 points per game, which ranked 33rd in the nation heading into this week and their offense should give them a good chance against the Butler Bulldogs Tuesday night. The Bulldogs are coming off a 74-57 loss to Xavier their last time out, the same Musketeers team the Bluejays defeated 70-56 last Tuesday. The Bulldogs are just 1-7 ATS in their last eight games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 while the Bluejays are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Creighton beat the Bulldogs 72-64 on Jan. 23, and I would not be surprised to see them record an upset at Butler tonight. |
02-15-16 | Oakland -1 v. Wright State | Top | 89-73 | Win | 100 | 16 h 16 m | Show |
CBB *AFTERNOON APOCALYPSE* The Oakland Golden Grizzlies defeated the Wright State Raiders 89-63 at home on Jan. 29. They saw a six game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday against Milwaukee but came back to score 111 points in a win over Green Bay on Saturday as Kahlil Felder had 29 points, seven assists, four rebounds, three steals. They're 7-0 ATS in their last seven road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. Horizon League. The Raiders have won three of their last four, but they're just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. We can also note that the Raiders are 1-5 ATS in their last six Monday games while the Golden Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last five Monday games. |
02-15-16 | Long Island v. St Francis NY -3.5 | 82-67 | Loss | -106 | 2 h 56 m | Show
Early CBB I'm recommending a small play on the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers to win and cover the spread in Monday's early matchup against the Long Island Blackbirds. The Terriers have won seven of their last 11 games and they're 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight overall. They've won six of their last eight home at home and defeated LIU 64-49 on the road on Jan. 23. The Blackbirds are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall. They're allowing 36.7% shooting from deep which should be a massive disadvantage here as the Terriers rely very much on their 3-point shooting and will be doing so in their own familiar building. |
02-14-16 | Syracuse -11.5 v. Boston College | Top | 75-61 | Win | 100 | 10 h 39 m | Show |
CBB The Boston College Eagles have lost 11 in a row and haven't won in 2016 after dropping a 68-65 decision to #9 North Carolina at home Tuesday. The Syracuse Orange have won four straight and seven of eight after beating Florida State 85-72 at home Thursday. They defeated the Eagles 62-40 at home January 13 in the first meeting this season and should get the job done at Silvio Conte Forum today as well. The Eagles are just 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14 after a straight up loss and 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 vs. ACC. The Orange will play their first road game since a loss at Virginia on Jan. 24 and they're 31-8 ATS in their last 39 on the road after at least three straight at home and 6-2 ATS in their last eight overall. |
02-13-16 | Texas A&M v. LSU -1 | 71-76 | Win | 100 | 13 h 53 m | Show
CBB This looks like a good spot to back the LSU Tigers. They had won back-to-back games prior to a 94-83 loss at South Carolina on Wednesday. They're however 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 games following a straight up loss and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 Saturday games. The Texas A&M Aggies have lost three straight and four of their last five. They're 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall. Texas A&M have won three straight meetings and defeated the Tigers 71-57 on Jan. 19, but I expect the Tigers to get revenge today. |
