Two of those teams with just six wins each will meet as Hampton faces Elon. Hampton does have spurts of offense but their record is indicative of a team that struggles mightily defensively. They’ve actually lost four straight on the road, but sandwiched in between was a seventeen point home victory over UT Rio Grande. Thursday, Radford has a chance to take the season series over Gardner Webb. Back on January 7th, the Highlanders topped the Runnin’ Bulldogs by four points. It was a stretch of basketball for Gardner Webb that featured extensive losses against the top four teams in the conference. In fact, their record dropped all the way to 8-11. They’ve since won five straight games albeit against bottom level competition. Expect a tight game and for Gardner Webb to challenge Radford’s nine game winning streak. Kadary Richmond has started to blossom in the past couple of games for Seton Hall scoring 28 against Providence and 17 against Xavier.
