This has been an off year for both of these iconic programs but even in the best of times, Syracuse is just 3-5 L8 in this tourney while UNC has excelled going 12-4 L16. Tar Heels at least looking to finish strong, win by 10 points here.

Charlotte is playing out the string and Miami is essentially locked into the No.4 seed in the East so little urgency here for either outfit so both teams should be plenty loose. Miami rolled in the only meeting this year 117-110 back in November. The Hornets are a defense optional team and Miami is 38-24-1 to the OVER on the year and will look to get up and down here. Jai Crowder returns off the concussion protocol and adds depth and outside shooting for the home team that figures to get 120 on it's own. Play the OVER.

Marist does not shoot the ball well but … Niagara is the WORST (No.352) rebounding team in the country. The Flyers have won 9 straight and do it the old fashion way, splitting on the road and crushing people on home ice. In fact, the Flyers are 25-5-4 at home, get timely scoring an excellent goaltending from Hart and Elliot. Boston is formidable on the road in their own right but not standing in front of the Philly money train here.

Memphis has played well despite losing arguable the best player in the nation and a possible overall No.1 pick in this year's NBA draft. The Tigers L7 games were all decided by 5 points or less or in OT so this one figures to go right down to wire. In the end, WSU's No.8 FG% defense is the difference as Wichita State finds a way to win straight up.

Nashville has effectively played itself out of the playoffs, are a defensive sieve, and the goaltending has been atrocious. Dallas checks the box in most areas and this a great spot to get a big Div/Conf win against a solid but slumping division opponent.
