Things have not gone well for CSSU since then, scoring more than 54 points just once in their L7 games. The Hornets were beat straight up by 14 at home as an 11-point favorite in last and don't figure to be much (2-7 in true road games) in one of the Big Sky's tougher road venues.

Montana averaged 1.22 points per possession in the first meeting and things should be no different here.

Austin Peay blew this same Tennessee State team out two weeks ago, knocking down 14-28 treys in a 99-74 spanking of State. The Tigers turn that ball over almost 24% of the time, not a good thing against a team that is 4-0 on the conference road with three wins by 11+ points.

DMack's NBA Play of the Day is on the New Orleans Pelicans New Orleans is slowly but surely working Zion into the rotation and the Pelicans should be tough to deal with the rest of the way. The Pelicans are 10-3 ATS in their L13 road games so they've been playing well with suitcase even before Zion came on the scene. The Pelicans have beaten the Bulls five straight times and the Chicago has lost three straight. Further, the Bulls are just 3-6 ATS L9 at the Untied Center, allowed 125.7 ppg. in their L3, and are at a substantial size disadvantage with recent injuries to their big people. The Ospreys have been profitable (16-6 ATS) all year and here, we have same season revenge and are basically asking North Florida to win the game. Kansas City's "Stop unit" has gotten off to slow starts in the playoffs but their halftime adjustments have been money. Speaking on "money" .... we also know Andy Reid's history off a bye and with extra time to prepare. On offense, the Chiefs will have success running the ball ... the Packers did! A lot has been made about the 49ers defensive line and the pressure they can bring. There is no QB in the NFL that is better on the move than Pat Mahomes and he has proven that time and time again during his short time calling the shots for KC. The Chief's skill people are SIGNIFICANTLY better than the 49ers and that will be the difference. Kansas City by 10.

DMack's NBA Play of the Day is on the Philadelphia 76ers The Warriors have been reduced to a D-League roster and it shows as Golden State is just 1-12 in its L13. To their credit, the players that they do have play hard and the Warriors are 12-11 ATS on the road getting the big points they normally get. That said, they face a monster tonight in the 76ers who have won and covered their last seven home games and are 8-1 ATS L9 in the series, 5-0 ATS in their L5 in the series at the Wells Fargo. Joel Embiid looks to be good to go and Philadelphia can name the score if it wants. Philadelphia 113-89.

DMack's NCAAB Play of the Day is on the Florida State Seminoles These are two of the better defensive teams in college basketball and that was affirmed by the Seminoles 54-50 home win over the Cavs on Jan 15th. Florida State is big, physical, and athletic, and made for this type of matchup. The Sems have won 10 straight, the last three by four or less or in OT. FSU is 7-1 in the ultra-tough ACC but that loss was by a bucket early on (November) at Pitt. Virginia is in a down year and just doesn't score enough regardless of how good their defense. Not much bad to say about Cincinnati which is 3-0 SU and ATS at home in conference and winning those games by a combined 71 points. Never a better spot for the Mustangs to stop a run of 6 straight losses on this floor but none of those by more than 8 points. This game could have big conference implications down the line and will be played like it. The Stangs are a money-making 13-7 ATS in all lined games this year and we'll grab them here with the points.

The Spiders are 3-0 on the A-14 road with wins by 14-6-8 and figure to be at their best here having gone just 2-8 L10 in the series. The Bulls will be short-handed here with Markkanen out 4-6 weeks with a hip injury and not a whole lot of size on the bench. Chicago is off a road win at Cleveland but the Bulls are 0-6 ATS following their L6 straight up wins and just 2-6 ATS in their L8 at the United Center. The Jacks have won three straight and have same season home revenge here having lost 64-57 in Cali in a game that found them down 20 at the half. All eight Northern conference games have been decided by 8 or less and both teams have a propensity to play close games. Air Force is an experienced veteran group and can ball. Take the points.

The Tigers look to be fully recovered after a 1-6 late December skid and ACC home favorite of 8+ are 8-2. Lay it.

Mack Attack Power Pack winner is on the Villanova Wildcats Bullet Analysis: Jay Wright started with the No.332 most experienced team in the country at the start of the year but after some early rocky results, the Cats have won four straight and 10 of 11. Nova has won four straight over Butler who has lost its last two after a 15-1 start allowing 78 and 79 points. Villanova has won its three Big East home games by 6+ and finds a way here.

Mack Attack Power Pack winner is on Illinois Bullet Analysis: This is a big revenge spot for Purdue who is 8-1 at home and figures to be salty from 63-37 loss at Champaign on January 6th. That said, too many points to a dangerous Illini outfit that has won four straight and is quite simply the better team.

Mack Attack Power Pack winner is on the Wichita State Bullet Analysis: The Shockers have lost two straight off 15-1 start, unable to make a shot and scoring 53-54 points respectively. South Florida has lost 6 of 8 and lost 54-41 to Wichita on this floor last year. The Shockers creating turnover on a tic under 25% of opponent possessions and should strangle the USF offense to get back on track here.

DMack Subscriber Bonus play on the Weber State Wildcats We're going to channel our inner Harold "The Show" Arceneaux here (old-timers will remember) and take Weber State to win straight up. The Wildcats are in a down year and this proud program will finish with a losing record for the first-time in forever. That said, Weber is 8-1 last nine in the series and has won their last three visits to the Rose City. Portland is 2-4 straight up last six and their Big Sky opponents are shredding the Vikings at 58% INSIDE the arc in conference play. Weber wins straight up.

DMack's Holiday Sunday Late Steam Report is on the Los Angles Lakers The Lakers have won 10 of 11 and have covered their last four roadies, most of it without the services of Anthony Davis who is a great payer but an injury waiting to happen. Boston has hit a flat spot and is 2-6 straight up in its last eight and is also just 2-6 ATS in its last eight home games at TD Arena. These are the type of games Lebron lives for he'll be featured tonight in the MLK holiday game which won't be lost on him either. The Lakers are deep and their role players have established themselves through the half-way mark. Lakers by 10.

DMack's NCAAB Play of the Day is on the USC Upstate Spartans Slim pickins on this abbreviated MLK car has us in the Big South today. The High Point Panthers are not much going 4-14 overall and 4-12 on the year ATS. The Point is 1-9 straight up on the road and faces a somewhat underrated SCUS team that is 7-11 on a schedule that was front loaded with away games. The Spartans will start making those up over the next few weeks. They're 5-2 at home and a money making 10-5 ATS on the year and we expect them to take care of business in a big way here.

Mack Attack Power Pack winner on the Philadelphia 76ers The 76ers are 0-6-1 ATS in their L7 road games but are unencumbered by a big impost here. The Nets are in complete freefall at 2-10 L12 and just 1-4 SU since Kyrie The Savior returned to the fold. Brooklyn is actually 2-5 ATS in its L7 home games and has had no recent success against Philly going 1-5 straight up. In a game they basically just need to win, take the 76ers.

DMack's NHL Play of the Day is on the Winnipeg Jets Both teams are struggling to stay in the playoff hunt and with just two point separating the two in the Central, this is an important game for both teams. In this virtual pick'em, several things point to Winnipeg as the visitor has won the last four series meetings with the Jets winning their last three trips to the United Center. The Jets are 6-2 L8 in the series overall and have done their best work with suitcase all year at 14-8-2 while a sub.500 11-11-2 at home. Take Winnipeg in a game that should be played at playoff intensity.

DMack's Packers/49ers Conf Championship GOY is on the San Francisco 49ers Back on November 24th, the 49ers hammered the Packers on this field 37-8 on Sunday night in arguably the worst game in Aaron Rodgers career. How bad ??? This bad. Rodgers was 20-33 for 104 yards. That's not a typo, 20 completions for 104 yards and the 49ers secondary bullies Packer wide outs all night. Rodgers was sacked five times and that without playing much of the fourth quarter. The Packers fumbled and went 3-and-out in their next four possessions, trailing 23-0 at half. Did I mention that the Packers were 0-13 on 3rd down with Rodgers under center ??? Aaron Rodgers is a first-ballot HOFer that could never have another game like this and the 36-year-old will be out of his mind in probably his final shot at the Super Bowl in the balance ... right .... cha, cha, cha ??? Why not ??? San Francisco is healthy, especially on the defensive side where you saw the 49ers hold a much more explosive Vike squad to 100 yards and change. Looking for San Francisco to bring big heat and pressure Rodgers unmercifully and the offense provides them plenty of rest by running the ball down the Packers throat and Jimmy G make a couple of money throws. 49ers 34-13.
