Dallas at New York Giants 8:15 ET Giants over Cowboys- New Giant's coach Brian Daboll guided New York to consecutive wins to start a season for the first time since 2016. The Giants have dropped nine of their last 10 meetings with Dallas, including both matchups last season. The Dallas offense ranks 31st in the NFL at 11.5 points per game. Cooper Rush started in place of Prescott against the Bengals and completed 19 of 31 passes for 235 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. Rush is 2-0 in his career as a starter. He passed for 325 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while leading Dallas to a win over the Minnesota Vikings last season when Prescott was sidelined. Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has passed for 364 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Star running back Saquon Barkley has a league-leading 236 rushing yards. Take NEW YORK! |

09-26-22 | Orioles v. Red Sox -120 | Top | 14-8 | Loss | -120 | 8 h 1 m | Show |
Baltimore at Boston 7:10 ET Red Sox over Orioles- The Orioles (79-73) had won three in a row until a pair of tough results to conclude a four-game home series with the Houston Astros. Orioles right-hander Jordan Lyles (11-11, 4.50 ERA) is coming off a career highlight with his first complete game since 2012 last week in a three-hitter against the Detroit Tigers. Lyles is 2-2 with a 6.98 ERA in eight career starts against the Red Sox. Boston right-hander Connor Seabold (0-3, 10.47) has been tagged for 11 runs in 7 2/3 innings over his last two starts. He's still aiming for his first victory in the majors as he prepares to face the Orioles for the first time. He gets it now! Take BOSTON! |

09-25-22 | 49ers v. Broncos +2 | Top | 10-11 | Win | 100 | 25 h 4 m | Show |
San Francisco at Denver 8:20 ET Broncos (+) over 49ers- 'It is the best of time and it is the worst of times,' that how 49ers fans see the Jimmy Garoppolo is back story. Personally, I like him injuries aside, but he's in trouble here. With Lance out for the season following surgery on his right ankle on Monday, Garoppolo is the No. 1 quarterback once again, and he makes his first start of the season on Sunday night when San Francisco (1-1) pays a visit to the Denver Broncos (1-1). QB Russell Wilson has seen better days and the Denver crowd is letting him hear it as his subpar performances have drawn attention after him signing a 5-yr extension. He'll come to play tonight as Broncos No. 3 defense allowing just 243.5 YPG leads the way! Take DENVER! |
|||||||
09-25-22 | Ravens v. Patriots +2.5 | Top | 37-26 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 42 m | Show |
Baltimore at New England 1:00 ET Patriots (+) over Ravens- If you keep playing against Mack Jones you will pay. The Ravens collapse to Miami (blew 28-7 lead) will linger. The difference here is the Pats defense is ranked No. 4 and allows only 246 YPG while Ravens ranked last surrendering 463.6 PPG. Aside from QB Jackson Baltimore has little run game to speak of. The Patriots dropped their season opener against Miami, but their defense fared much better than the Ravens did against the electric offense down in South Beach. New England's defense has been among the league's best through the first two weeks of the season, allowing just 34 points and the fourth-fewest yards per game (275). Take NEW ENGLAND! |
|||||||
09-25-22 | Bengals v. Jets +6 | 27-12 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 40 m | Show
Cincinnati at New York Jets 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Bengals- Break-up the Jets! Miracle comeback win over Browns has New York ready to take off. Bengals O-line still can't protect Burrow and Jets defense has improved enough to cause Bengals problems. Super Bowl hangover affects the loser and Cincy a great example. The Bengals (0-2), who were expected to contend for a second straight AFC title, are already in a tough spot. They followed a season-opening 23-20 loss in overtime to the Pittsburgh Steelers with a 20-17 setback at Dallas on Sunday. The Jets won the teams' meeting last year, 34-31, by scoring two touchdowns in a span of 61 seconds in the final 4:36 to rally from a 31-20 deficit. It's getting to be a habit. Take NEW YORK JETS! |
|||||||
09-25-22 | Chiefs v. Colts +5.5 | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 18 h 39 m | Show
Kansas City at Indianapolis 1:00 ET Colts (+) over Chiefs- If anybody has been more disappointing than the Colts (Maybe Raiders) who are repeating their scenario from 2021 by losing games that they are expected to win. The Colts were picked by most to win the weak AFC Central and are in a 'must' win situation after failing to win as favorites and were shut out last week by the Jaguars of all clubs. Colts can't pull-up lame and must run the ball with Taylor or the climb back into playoff contention looks dim. The offseason acquisition of quarterback Matt Ryan led to high expectations for the Colts (0-1-1), but they bottomed out quickly with a tie against the Houston Texans and an ugly 24-0 loss to the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars. They come to play today. Take INDIANAPOLIS! |
|||||||
09-25-22 | Eagles v. Washington Commanders +6.5 | 24-8 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 38 m | Show
Philadelphia at Washington 1:00 ET Commies (+) over Eagles- Eagles flying after dominating Minny on MNF and are the favorites to win the NFC East but must contend with old division rivals. Playing at Washington will present it's problems as the Commies will be ready especially with the dog and home teams 3-0-1 ATS in the last four. Philly closed 2021 with two wins over Washington in weeks 15 & 17 with Hurts proving his worth but, now it's get back time for home club. In the pandemic-riddled 2020 season in Philadelphia, Hurts and Wentz were pitted in a divisive battle for the starting job which divided Eagles players, coaches and fans. Hurts ranks No. 2 in the NFL in combined yards passing and rushing (723) for the 2-0 Eagles, while Wentz is No. 2 in the league in passing yards (650) and is tied for the lead in touchdown passes (seven) for the 1-1 Commanders. Take WASHINGTON! |
|||||||
09-25-22 | Lions +6 v. Vikings | 24-28 | Win | 100 | 18 h 37 m | Show
Detroit at Minnesota 1:00 ET Vikings (-) over Lions- This should be bounce-back city for Minnesota who were completely dominated by the Eagles Monday night. Lions are 2-0 ATS and will return to reality here as the Vikings 'How do you like me now' QB Cousins takes advantage the NFL's 30th ranked defense which is allowing 425.5 YPG. Kirk Cousins will look to bounce back from its 24-7 road loss to Philadelphia when it faces the Lions on Sunday in Minneapolis. Cousins, a Michigan native, has a 7-2 record in nine starts against Detroit. He's averaged 282 passing yards in those outings while throwing for 19 touchdowns and getting intercepted just twice. The Lions snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Vikings with a 29-27 triumph last December.A new losing streak starts here. Take MINNESOTA! |
|||||||
09-24-22 | USC v. Oregon State +6 | Top | 17-14 | Win | 100 | 26 h 6 m | Show |
USC at Oregon State 9:30 ET Beavers (+) over Trojans- Both clubs are 3-0 SU with this being Oregon State's Pac-12 opener and both clubs have met and defeated Fresno State. USC (3-0, 1-0 Pac-12) was impressive again last week, rolling past Fresno State 45-17. The Trojans have 10 takeaways with no turnovers, the best margin in the nation. Under coach Jonathan Smith. Oregon State snapped its eight-year bowl-game drought last season and ended a losing streak USC with a 45-27 win over the trojans last September. USC is 2-5 ATS in last seven meetings with State and the dog is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Add that the Beavers are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games. Take OREGON STATE! |
|||||||
09-24-22 | Kansas State +13.5 v. Oklahoma | 41-34 | Win | 100 | 25 h 42 m | Show
Kansas State at Oklahoma 8:00 ET Wildcats (+) over Sooners- Oklahoma coach Brent Venables was a walk-on linebacker for Kansas State in the early 1990s and carved out a role with the Wildcats, then began his coaching career there before joining Bob Stoops' Oklahoma staff after the 1998 season. No. 6 Sooners (3-0) open Big 12 play Saturday against visiting Kansas State (2-1) at Norman, Okla. The Sooners come into the game undefeated, having rolled through opponents by a combined 127-30 in non-conference play while the Wildcats come in off a 17-10 home loss to Tulane. Kansas State has performed well against the Sooners in recent years, winning two of the last three meetings. Both teams rank in the top 15 nationally in rushing yards and Kansas State has forced seven turnovers, all interceptions. Take KANSAS STATE! |
|||||||
09-24-22 | Iowa -7.5 v. Rutgers | Top | 27-10 | Win | 100 | 24 h 50 m | Show |
Iowa at Rutgers 7:00 ET Hawkeyes (-) over Scarlet Knights- This has got to be the most 'bogus' line of the weekend! Think about this for a second...Iowa, which ranks last among 131 FBS teams with 217.7 yards per game on offense will face a Rutgers defense allowing 240.3 per game and is 10th in the nation. The Scarlet Knights (3-0) are over a TD underdog at home and this just doesn't make any sense. We can always find trends to support our side so it goes. Knights are 0-5 ATS against teams with winning records and 4-9 ATS after a SU win. Take IOWA! |
|||||||
09-24-22 | Blue Jays v. Rays -105 | Top | 3-1 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 7 m | Show |
Toronto at Tampa Bay 6:10 ET Rays over Blue Jays- The Rays and Blue Jays each have the same record (84-67) and they have two games remaining between them, as they battle to capture to No. 1 wild-card position. Both clubs hold a 1 1/2-game lead over the team occupying the third AL wild-card spot, the Seattle Mariners (82-68). Alek Manoah (14-7, 2.40 ERA) set to start on Saturday being pushed back a day and he is 3-2 with a 1.69 ERA against the Rays across 37 1/3 innings in six career starts. This year, he is 0-1 with a 2.13 ERA in two outings against Tampa Bay. Rays starter Drew Rasmussen (10-6, 2.92 ERA) will look to regain the outstanding form he had prior to his past two starts. In six career starts and one relief outing against Toronto, Rasmussen is 1-2 with a 2.51 ERA in 32 1/3 innings. This year, he is 0-2 with a 3.10 ERA in four starts vs. the Blue Jays. This time out he gets the ring. Take TAMPA BAY! |
|||||||
09-24-22 | Notre Dame +2.5 v. North Carolina | 45-32 | Win | 100 | 21 h 10 m | Show
Notre Dame at North Carolina 3:30 ET Fighting Irish (+) over Tar Heels- Notre Dame's first win of the season was the result of the pressure its defense was able to apply on Cal quarterback Jack Plummer. The Irish racked up six sacks and five other QB hits. North Carolina is 3-0 to start the season but has historically struggled against the Irish. Notre Dame is 20-2 all-time in the series and is currently riding a four-game winning streak. UNC has one of the most explosive offenses in the country, averaging 51.3 points per-game, a mark that is tops in the ACC and fourth-best in FBS. I would have thought the Tar Heels would be bigger favorites but the oddsmaker believe the Irish have a shot. Take NOTRE DAME! |
|||||||
09-24-22 | Texas v. Texas Tech +7 | Top | 34-37 | Win | 100 | 21 h 9 m | Show |
Texas at Texas Tech 3:30ET Red Raiders (+) over Longhorns- Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian has already made a difference in the Longhorns program going 2-1 to start his career with a 20-19 loss o Alabama and an impressive come-back win (trailed 17-7) over Texas-SA. This will be his first challenge on the road after three home games to start the season. The Red Raiders (2-1) return home after a 27-14 loss at then No. 16 North Carolina State last weekend. Texas holds a 54-17 advantage over the Red Raiders in the all-time series between the schools and has captured 11 of the past 13 matchups. The Longhorns scored 10 touchdowns in a 70-35 win over Texas Tech in Austin last season and Tech is looking to atone at home. Red Raiders 7-1 after a loss. Take TEXAS TECH! |
|||||||
09-23-22 | Guardians v. Rangers -117 | Top | 6-3 | Loss | -117 | 9 h 36 m | Show |
Cleveland at Texas 8:05 ET Rangers over Indians- Cleveland (83-67) can move closer toward locking up the division with a successful series against Texas (65-84) as the Guardians are seven games up in the Central with 12 to play. Guardians right-hander Cody Morris (0-2, 2.30 ERA) and Rangers right-hander Jon Gray (7-7, 3.80) are the scheduled starters for the Friday series opener. Morris, is making his fifth big league start. It will be his first appearance against the Rangers while Gray is 0-1 with a 3.38 ERA in September. Take TEXAS! |
|||||||
09-23-22 | Virginia +10 v. Syracuse | Top | 20-22 | Win | 100 | 8 h 50 m | Show |
Virginia at Syracuse 7:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Orange- Syracuse (3-0, 1-0 ACC) and Virginia (2-1, 0-0) are both coming off last second victories as the Orange shocked Purdue with a 26 yard TD pass on the final play while the Cavaliers kicked a game winning field goal as time expired to defeat Old Dominion. Friday will mark the sixth all-time matchup between the teams, with Virginia leading 3-2. The last meeting, in 2015, was a triple-overtime thriller in which the Cavaliers emerged with a 44-38 home victory. Cavs are 6-1 ATS after scoring less than 20 points the previous games and are 5-1 ATS in their last six ACC games. Take VIRGINIA! |
|||||||
09-22-22 | Steelers v. Browns -4 | Top | 17-29 | Win | 100 | 19 h 16 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Cleveland 8:15 ET Browns (-) over Steelers- Pittsburgh pretty much trailed most of the game in their loss to the Patriots (A-Play ML winner) and will stay will Mitch Trubisky at QB, he will be making just his third start and there are already 'rumblings' about replacing him with Kenny Pickett. Trubisky is averaging just 5.1 yards per completion which ranks 32nd among 33 qualifying quarterbacks while passing for 362 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Both clubs coming off losses but the way the Browns lost last week has got to have some lingering effect. The Browns (1-1) blew a 13-point lead with 1:55 left to play in Sunday's 31-30 home loss to the New York Jets. I'm looking for the Browns to suck-it-up and run the ball at the Steelers and not surrender the lead. Take CLEVELAND! |
|||||||
09-22-22 | Guardians v. White Sox +128 | 4-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 0 m | Show
Cleveland at Chicago White Sox 8:10 ET White Sox over Guardians- the White Sox (76-73) are fading out of contention while the red-hot Guardians (82-67) have won 12 of their past 14 games to reduce their magic number to seven for clinching the American League Central title. First-place Cleveland resides six games ahead of second-place Chicago in the division with 13 games to play. Right-hander Shane Bieber (11-8, 2.83 ERA) is 7-2 record with a 1.68 ERA over his past 10 starts. Bieber is 7-4 with a 2.66 ERA in 16 career starts against the White Sox, including 2-2 with a 2.96 ERA in four outings this season. Right-hander Johnny Cueto (7-8, 3.09) boasts a 5-0 record with a 2.14 ERA in nine career encounters against Cleveland. Take WHITE SOX |
|||||||
09-21-22 | Cardinals v. Padres -130 | Top | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 11 h 43 m | Show |
St. Louis at San Diego 9:40 ET Padres over Cardinals- Both of these clubs are fighting for playoff position and will be sending veteran pitchers to the mound. St. Louis will send Miles Mikolas (11-12, 3.46 ERA) out to start and his counterpart for San Diego will be lefty Blake Snell (7-9, 3.85). The Padres are on a 4-game winning streak having outscored the D'backs and Cardinals by a 25-4 margin. Snell who is the last SD starter to surrendered a run and has a 2.77 ERA in 13 innings against the Cards. Padres are 6-0 in the last six meetings in San Diego. Take the PADRES! |
|||||||
09-20-22 | Mets v. Brewers +106 | Top | 7-5 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
N.Y. Mets at Milwaukee 7:40 ET Brewers over Mets- Granted 'we' had the Brew Crew yesterday in the Mets post season clinching victory but that was yesterday. Today, after a night of celebrating for making the playoffs for the first time since 2016 New York's intensity may be down a notch and Milwaukee is getting desperate as they are 46-50 since June 1. The Monday loss makes it harder for the Brewers (78-69) to join the Mets in the playoffs. Milwaukee is now 2 1/2 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the race for the third and final NL wild-card spot. Brewers left-hander Aaron Ashby (2-10, 4.58 ERA) will get the start against Mets right-hander Carlos Carrasco (15-6, 3.70 ERA). Mets are just 5-16 in the last 21 meetings in Milwaukee. Take BREWERS! |
|||||||
09-19-22 | Mets v. Brewers -112 | Top | 7-2 | Loss | -112 | 9 h 26 m | Show |
N.Y. Mets at Milwaukee 7:40 ET Brewers over Mets- The New York Mets are expected to start Max Scherzer off the injured list and Milwaukee will start another Cy Young Award winner Corbin Burnes. Burnes (10-7, 2.97) is 2-2 with a 4.60 ERA over his last seven starts and is 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA in four career games against the Mets, including three starts. Scherzer is 3-2 with a 2.56 ERA in his last seven major league starts and Scherzer is 2-3 with a 2.37 ERA in 10 career appearances against Milwaukee, including nine starts. Brewers are 13-5 in the last 18 meetings and are 19-7 in the last 26 meetings in Milwaukee. Take BREWERS! |
|||||||
09-19-22 | Titans +10 v. Bills | 7-41 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 20 m | Show
Tennessee at Buffalo 7:15 ET Titans (+) over Bills- The Buffalo Bills opened the season by sending a message to the rest of the NFL that they are the team to beat not only in the AFC but in the NFL as well by dominating the Super Champion Rams. Buffalo (1-0) committed three first half turnovers and then scored 21 unanswered second-half points while notching a 31-10 road. The Titans let a 13-point halftime lead slip away en route to a 21-20 loss to the New York Giants. Tennessee who was the No. 1 seed in the AFC last season whipped the Bills 42-16 in Week 5 of the 2020 season and rallied for a 34-31 victory in Week 6 on the Monday last season as Henry took over in the fourth quarter. Both those games were in Nashville but I'm still take back a bit by this double-digit price especially because the underdog is 10-1 ATS in their series and the Titans are 8-2 ATS in Monday Nights and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games when underdogs. Take TENNESSEE! |
|||||||
09-18-22 | Bengals v. Cowboys +8 | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 21 h 13 m | Show
Cincinnati at Dallas 4:25 ET Cowgirls (+) over Bengals- Oh, I absolutely love my side here and will be surprised if Dallas (0-1) doesn't actually win the game on the field (no points needed, but, I always take them). The visiting Cincinnati Bengals aim to recover from disastrous season-opening loss when they meet the Pokes on Sunday while the 'Boys defeat was compounded by the loss of Dak Prescott to a thumb injury on his throwing hand that will sideline him multiple weeks during their 19-3 setback to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cincy's Joe Burrow spent time in a doctor's office this week could he endure another seven-sack performance. As Burrow looks to rebound from a difficult start, Cooper Rush will be making his first start for the Cowboys since stepping in for Prescott last season. Cowboys are 6-1 ATS after a straight up loss. Take DALLAS! |
|||||||
09-18-22 | Mariners v. Angels -105 | Top | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show |
Seattle at L.A. Angels 4:10 ET Angels over Mariners- L.A. got the pitching performance they needed from Shohei Ohtani who went seven innings allowing no runs and striking out eight in Saturday's 2-1 victory. Today, I'm expecting more of the same from Reid (No-Hit) Detmers (5-5, 3.82 ERA) who is making his second season memorable. He has allowed only 94 hits in 113 innings and defeated Seattle 7-1 on August 6 going seven innings giving up one run to post the win. The Mariners will send Marco Gonzalez (10-13, 3.89) to the hill and he has been hittable allowing more hits than innings pitched. The Angles of won 4-of-5 at home against left-handed starters. Take LA ANGELS! |
|||||||
09-18-22 | Seahawks v. 49ers -9 | 7-27 | Win | 100 | 21 h 51 m | Show
Seattle at San Francisco 4:25 ET 49ers (-) over Seahawks- Geno for MVP as Megabucks win outright Monday night and now it's back out to sea for the 'Hawks and they will face a defensive storm in San Francisco. I really don't expect Seattle to win more than one or two more games this season and the slide starts here. Seattle's defense made two goal-line stands in the second half and limited Denver to a pair of field goals on four trips to the red zone and three Broncos fumbled twice entering the end zone. The Seahawks are 4-12 ATS after a SU win while the 49ers are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games. Look for 'keep it n your pants' Lance to have a better outing. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
|||||||
09-18-22 | Patriots -135 v. Steelers | Top | 17-14 | Win | 100 | 25 h 50 m | Show |
New England at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET Patriots over Steelers- This one really turned my head as the Patriots opened the favorite and the piece has on gotten higher as the week progressed and the 'action' appears to be on the Steelers. What does that tell ya/ I know what it says to me and it is difficult to understand why Pittsburgh isn't the favorite. 'We' (me) need for this game to be BOGUS to win. Remember what my friend by the dearly departed Larry Ness would say 'Officials are there to see that the players have nothing to do with the outcome of the game.' I sure hope so here. Take NEW ENGLAND! |
|||||||
09-18-22 | Jets +7 v. Browns | 31-30 | Win | 100 | 18 h 49 m | Show
New York Jets at Cleveland 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Browns- I know, I NO! I should not be anywhere near this team but the tide is right and I'm hanging on. As the Jets are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Having used the Browns a a winner last week over the Panthers I have not problem going against a team that is 0-5 ATS as home favorites and 8-20 ATS in the AFC. New York actually out-gained Baltimore by 106 yards last week but 81 yards in penalties alone with a pair of fumbles and an interception. Browns won last week despite passing for only 138 yards...that won't cut it Sunday. Take the J-E-T-S! |
|||||||
09-18-22 | Panthers +2 v. Giants | 16-19 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 45 m | Show
Carolina at N.Y. Giants 1:00 ET Panthers (+) over Giants- Are you as excited as Giants fans are...don't sweat it with a home crowd of 77,000 in jersey the Jints will disappoint them all. Carolina had the second-worst rush defense in the opening week (217 rush yards allowed), ahead of only Tennessee because of what the Giants did. New York cranked out 238 rushing yards, with 164 from running back Saquon Barkley. The Panthers unveiled a new look with Baker Mayfield at quarterback. It took time to get traction, particularly as running back Christian McCaffrey, who's expected to have an impact similar to Barkley's, was held to 57 yards of total offense. This week the numbers will be reversed. The Panthers have won seven of 12 regular-season matchups against the Giants, including the playoffs. Panthers have lost eight straight regular season games but are 5-2 ATS on the road against winning teams. NYG are 9-22-1 ATS in their last 32 home games. Take CAROLINA! |
|||||||
09-18-22 | Bucs v. Saints +3 | 20-10 | Loss | -115 | 18 h 43 m | Show
Tampa Bay at New Orleans 1:00 ET Saints (+) over Buccaneers- Both teams won their season openers. Tampa Bay had one of the more impressive performances last weekend as they beat the Cowboys 19-3 in Dallas and were the only team in the NFL to not allow a touchdown. The New Orleans Saints have had a lot of success against Tampa Bay since Tom Brady joined the Buccaneers in 2020. They are 4-0 in the regular season, though the Buccaneers won a Divisional playoff game after the 2020 season. The Saints have won seven straight in the regular season going into the matchup between the NFC South rivals Sunday in New Orleans. Injuries hit the Bucs as they had six players did not participate in Wednesday's practice. Bucks are 2-7 ATS in last nine after a win of 14 points or more. Saints are 8-2 ATS after a ATS loss and 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
|||||||
09-17-22 | Fresno State +11.5 v. USC | 17-45 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 26 m | Show
Fresno State at U.S.C. 10:30 ET Bulldogs (+) over Trojans- USC (2-0) is 7th-ranked and continued to dazzle offensively early into first-year head coach Lincoln Riley's crushed last week at Stanford. Fresno State (1-1) is 1-4 all-time against USC, but last season beat then-No. 13 UCLA (40-37), lost to then-No. 11 Oregon by a touchdown (31-24), and have won four of their past five games against ranked opponents. This is Fresno State's first visit to USC since 2019 when the Bulldogs lost the season opener to the Trojans, 31-23. State lost to Oregon State last week and are 20-8-1 ATS in their last 29 games following a straight up loss and 22-8-1 ATS in their last 31 road games. Trojans are 2-5 ATS in last seven home games. Take FRESNO STATE! |
|||||||
09-17-22 | Mariners +103 v. Angels | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 54 m | Show
Seattle at L.A. Angels 9:05 ET Mariners over Angels- Seattle's George Kirby the pitcher not the comic is 7-3 with a 2.98 ERA and has surrendered just two runs in his last four starts and the last time that he was actually was touched up it was against the Angels in an 11-7 win on August 17. His mound opponent will be the hard throwing, power hitting and base stealing Shohei Ohtani (12-8, 2.55) who has 188 K's in just 141 innings and has given up more than two runs only once in his last nine starts. With Mike Trout streaking LA can be dangerous especially when the games mean nothing that's when Trouts at his best but the Mariners are just a better and deeper club. Mariners are 6-2 in last eight at LA and 28-10 in their last 38 road games while the Angles are 16-41 in their last 57 games against teams with winning records. Take SEATTLE! |
|||||||
09-17-22 | Miami-FL v. Texas A&M -6 | 9-17 | Win | 100 | 21 h 59 m | Show
Texas Tech at N. C. State 7:00 ET Wolfpack (-) over Red Raiders- The Red Raiders (2-0) beat then-No. 25 Houston 33-30 in double overtime. He is 1-3 with a 4.80 ERA in five career starts against Miami. The Marlins have lost nine in-a-row and will be sending Sandy Alcantara (12-7, 2.36) to the hill and he also had a poor outing in his last appearance as he gave up seven hits and six runs in five innings. He is 6-6 with a 3.10 ERA in 14 starts against the Phillies. Take PHILADELPHIA! |

09-07-22 | Guardians -135 v. Royals | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -135 | 9 h 49 m | Show |
Cleveland at Kansas City 8:10 ET Guardians over Royals- The Guardians will send Cody Morris (0-1, 9.00 ERA) to the mound. Zack Greinke (4-8, 4.14 ERA) will make his return from the injured list for the Royals. Greinke's been on the IL since Aug. 24 with right forearm tightness and Royals' manager Mike Matheny says he's ready to go, but he wasn't all that ready at anytime this season as he's pitched at least six innings just five times. Morris will be making his second major league start after allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits in two innings against the Seattle Mariners in his debut on Friday. Take CLEVELAND! |
|||||||
09-06-22 | Blue Jays -104 v. Orioles | Top | 6-9 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 27 m | Show |
Toronto at Baltimore 7:10 ET Blue Jays over Orioles- The Blue Jays have five straight games overall and their last eight rod games and will be sending right-hander Mitch White (1-5, 4.67 ERA) to the mound. He hasn't won a game since May 17, losing his last five decisions. He has been roughed up for a total of 13 runs across his last two starts spanning 9 2/3 innings. The Orioles should have the ideal pitcher slated to start with right-hander Kyle Bradish (3-5, 5.17), who hasn't allowed a run across his last two starts covering 15 innings. He gave up a total of four hits in those two games. Like Jeremy Irons look fo a reversal of fortunes today. Take TORONTO! |

09-05-22 | Clemson v. Georgia Tech +23.5 | Top | 41-10 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 54 m | Show |
Clemson at Georgia Tech 8:00 ET Yellow Jackets (+) over Tigers- Clemson opens the season Monday as a 22-point favorite against Georgia Tech in Atlanta as part of the annual college football Labor Day showcase. Tiger's QB junior quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is back after a poor 2021 showing as he had a completion rate of 55.6 percent and he threw for 2,246 yards, he averaged under 11 yards per completion. He finished with more interceptions (10) than touchdowns (nine). The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 3-9 season, including 2-6 in the ACC. Somehow, the Tigers cover. Take GEORGIA TECH! |

Chicago right-hander Lance Lynn (4-5, 4.70) is scheduled to start and he allowed one run on four hits in seven innings and struck out eight in a 4-2 victory against Kansas City on Wednesday in his most recent outing. Lynn is 3-1 with a 2.31 ERA in six career starts against Seattle. Take the WHITE SOX! |
|||||||
09-04-22 | Florida State +3.5 v. LSU | Top | 24-23 | Win | 100 | 17 h 52 m | Show |
Florida State at L.S.U. 7:30 ET Seminoles (+) over Tigers- Sunday night's game in New Orleans has Florida State (1-0) playing LSU in the Allstate Louisiana Kickoff in the Caesars Superdome. The Tigers went just 6-7 last season as Ed Orgeron was fired as head coach and Brian Kelly left Notre Dame to speak cajun. I just don't see Notre Dame's winningest coach going over on Bourbon Street. The Seminoles have a new look and attitude and boy do they need it. Tigers will begin this season without John Emery, who was projected to be the top running back. FSU 5-2 ATS last seven games while LSU is 1-4 ATS in last five non-conference encounters. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
|||||||
09-04-22 | Phillies v. Giants UNDER 7.5 | 3-5 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 10 m | Show
Philadelphia at San Francisco 4:10 ET Phillies/Giants (UNDER)- This is a 'number' game and with these two pitchers scoring should be at a minimum. The Under is 7-2 in Phillies last 9 road games vs. a left-handed starter and the Giants are Under i3-0-1 in Giants last 4 home games vs. a left-handed starter. Under is 37-18-3 in Giants last 58 after scoring 5 runs or more in their previous game. Play UNDER! |

Minnesota at Chicago White Sox 2:10 ET Twins over White Sox- Lucas Giolito (10-8, 5.27 ERA) won four of six starts in August despite pitching to a 5.68 ERA during the month will aim to pitch the White Sox to a sweep of their American League Central rival. Minnesota will give the ball to righty Dylan Bundy (7-6, 4.53) who is coming off a no-decision against Boston on Monday, when he scattered two runs and nine hits in 4 2/3 innings. He is 2-0 with a 2.35 ERA in three starts against the White Sox this season and 6-0 with a 3.47 ERA in nine games (eight starts) versus Chicago in his career. Giolito in 17 career starts versus Minnesota, he is 7-7 with a 4.33 ERA. Take MINNESOTA! |

Kansas City at Detroit 2:30 ET Royals over Tigers- The host Tigers will send out second-year right-hander Matt Manning (1-2, 3.79 ERA) allowed eight earned runs in 30 innings of work before his most recent start on Tuesday against Seattle allowing seven runs and seven hits before being removed after just 2 1/3 innings. Kansas City will counter Manning with right-hander Max Castillo (0-1, 2.81) has made 10 appearances this year and Kansas City has won seven of the 12 games between the two teams this season. Tigers are 5-21 in the last 26 versus the A.L. Central. Take KANSAS CITY! |
|||||||
09-03-22 | Boise State v. Oregon State -2 | Top | 17-34 | Win | 100 | 28 h 55 m | Show |
Boise State at Oregon State 10:30 ET Beavers (-) over Broncos- To start with the changes in Idaho have started to play out as Boise State is just not the dominating club that it has been the past two decades (7-5) their fewest wins since since 1998. Oregon State hasn't put together back-to-back winning seasons since 2012-13 and the Beavers were 6-0 on their home turf in 2021 while going 7-5 overall and playing in their first bowl game since 2013. Oregon State holds a 5-4 lead in the series and is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Take OREGON STATE! |
|||||||
09-03-22 | Astros v. Angels -125 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 14 m | Show |
Houston at L.A. Angels 9:07 ET Angels over Astros- In 22 starts as a pitcher, Ohtani is 11-8 with a 2.67 ERA and has 176 strikeouts in 128 innings and In eight career starts against the Astros, he is 2-3 with a 4.21 ERA. This season, Ohtani is 2-1 with a 1.08 ERA against Houston. He will face right-hander Luis Garcia (11-8, 4.14 ERA). Garcia is 2-2 with a 3.61 ERA in nine career outings (seven starts) against the Angels. He is 1-0 with a 3.09 ERA, in two starts against them this season. The one thing that drew my attention to this games is that Houston is 28-games above .500 and the Angels are28-games below the breakeven mark and yet L.A. is favored and they have won five of their last six. Take the ANGELS! |
|||||||
09-03-22 | Notre Dame +16 v. Ohio State | 10-21 | Win | 100 | 25 h 54 m | Show
Notre Dame at Ohio State 7:30 ET Buckeyes (-) over Fighting Irish- This one should be fun...as the storyline is this encounter is for dominance of the midwest media. The loser will not automatically be eliminated for one of the four spots in the College Football Playoff as no two loss club has ever been selected for the playoffs. The Fighting Irish (11-2 last year) are well regarded even with a novice in charge. Defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Marcus Freeman was promoted to head coach and a 'newbie' at QB as well. C. Stroud had 4,435 yards and 43 TD's...Take OHIO STATE! |
|||||||
09-03-22 | Utah v. Florida +2.5 | Top | 26-29 | Win | 100 | 25 h 40 m | Show |
Utah at Florida 7:00 ET Gators (+) over Utes- I've already penciled the Utes into the Championship Series...haven't you! Yeah, like last year's North Carolina, the pundits and so-call experts are all over Utah to dominate the PAC-12 and west. When that much attention is bestowed on one team things usually don't go so well. Florida head coach Billy Napier is in his Gators debut and he went 40-12 the last four years at Louisiana. The Gators will be aided with the atmosphere at the Swamp and Utah needs to show it can win on the road last year when its losses came at BYU, at San Diego State, at Oregon State and in the Rose Bowl against Ohio State. Early season results have not been good for the Utes as they are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games in September. Take FLORIDA! |
|||||||
09-03-22 | Cincinnati +7 v. Arkansas | Top | 24-31 | Push | 0 | 21 h 59 m | Show |
Cincinnati at Arkansas 3:30 ET Bearcats (+) over Razorbacks- This is the first meeting between these two schools don't have any history but they are both ranked side-by-side in the Top-25. Arkansa ranked No. 19 had a 9-4 record last year their best season in a decade and defeated Penn State 24-10 the Outback Bowl. Cincinnati of course made it to the Championships but were spanked by Alabama and the lost QB Desmond Ridder a 4-year starter with 43 wins. But, the Bearcats program is on the rise and most expect a huge drop-off from last season but, I don't. They are on the up swing and not getting the respect deserved. Take CINCINNATI! |
|||||||
09-03-22 | Houston v. UTSA +4 | 37-35 | Win | 100 | 21 h 58 m | Show
Houston at TX-San Antonio 3:30 ET Roadrunners (+) over Cougars- Both programs on the rise and battling for respectability as No. 24 Houston travels in-state to San Antonio to play the upstart UT Roadrunners. Houston went 12-2 in 2021, played for the American Athletic Conference championship and beat Auburn 17-13 in the Birmingham Bowl. UTSA also went 12-2 last season and climbed to No. 22 in the polls while going undefeated over its first 11 games. The Roadrunners won the Conference USA championship game and then lost to No. 24 San Diego State in the Frisco Bowl. San Antonio is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games. Take the ROADRUNNERS! |

Philadelphia at San Francisco 10:15 ET Giants over Phillies- San Francisco starter right-hander Alex Cobb (4-6, 3.81) has faced the Phillies just twice in his career, both starts, going 0-1 with a 3.75 ERA. The Phillies will go with a 34-year-old righty of their own, Kyle Gibson (9-5, 4.08), who has never beaten the Giants in four career starts, going 0-1 with a 3.91 ERA. The Giants who led the majors in wins last season have lost seven straight scoring just 18 runs during their slide and are just 61-68 in 2022. Milwaukee at Arizona 9:40 ET D'backs over Brewers- Arizona won the series opener 5-0 on Thursday, its seventh victory in the past nine games while Milwaukee, which went just 12-15 last month is three games behind the San Diego Padres in the race for the National League's third and final wild-card spot. The Brewers are 6 1/2 games behind the first-place St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central. The Diamondbacks are playing solid baseball and are 22-16 since the All-Star break. Former Milwaukee right-hander Zach Davies (2-4, 3.82 ERA) will start for the Diamondbacks on Friday night. Left-hander Eric Lauer (10-5, 3.58) will take the ball for the Brewers. Davies, who pitched for Milwaukee from 2015-19, is 0-1 with a 6.48 ERA in two previous starts against the Brewers. Lauer is 2-3 with a 2.77 ERA in seven career starts against Arizona. Take the DIAMONDBACKS! |

09-02-22 | Illinois v. Indiana -115 | 20-23 | Win | 100 | 8 h 36 m | Show
Illinois at Indiana 8:00 ET Hoosiers over Fighting Illini- I thank the 'Powers-that-be' for taking former Hoosier QB Michael Penix Jr. out of the equation as Indiana was 2-10 last season. Illinois coach Bret Bielema broke in a new quarterback and crashed into the win column with former Syracuse QB Tommy DeVito and the Fighting Illini are 1-0. Fifth-year senior Jack Tuttle started two games in 2021 and said "I'm motivated." Indiana has won three consecutive games in the series, which is led by Illinois 45-24-2. Take the HOOSIERS! |

09-02-22 | Yankees v. Rays -125 | Top | 0-9 | Win | 100 | 8 h 40 m | Show |
N.Y. Yankees at Tampa Bay 7:10 ET Rays over Yankees- The Yankees began last month with a 14 1/2-game lead over the third-place Rays. Now the lead is down to six games and second-place Tampa Bay has 33 games remaining while the Yankees have 31. New York held a 15 1/2-game lead following its 12-5 win in Boston on July 8, but since then it is 18-29. The Yankees completed a 10-18 August by producing underwhelming results with a 3-4 record against the Oakland A's and Los Angeles Angels. Domingo German (2-2, 3.19 ERA) will open the series for the Yankees. After allowing two runs, one earned, in 6 1/3 innings on Aug. 22 against the Mets, German gave up three hits in 7 2/3 innings on Saturday in Oakland and he is 3-1 with a 6.32 ERA in nine career appearances (seven starts) against the Rays. His only two starts vs. New York came this year, and he went 1-1 with a 2.45 ERA. Take TAMPA BAY! |

Virginia Tech at Old Dominion 7:00 ET Monarchs (+) over Hokies- Last year after a 1-5 start Old Dominion rallied to finish the regular season with five wins in six games to capture a berth in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. They have 17 starters back, including 10 on offense, and transfers from Power 5 schools the Monarchs will be under-rated' out of the Sun Belt. 09-01-22 | Penn State v. Purdue +3.5 | Top | 35-31 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 53 m | Show |
Penn State at Purdue 8:00 ET Boilermakers (+) over Nittany- Boilermakers quarterback Aidan O'Connell had a prolific 2021 season throwing for 3,712 yards and 28 touchdowns while completing 71.6 percent of his passes as he paced Purdue to a 9-4 finish last fall and a Liberty Bowl win over Tennessee. Penn State started 2021 with a five-game winning streak that included two victories against ranked foes and a No. 4 national ranking of its own. But the Nittany Lions faltered after that, sputtering to a 7-6 finish that included a 24-10 loss to Arkansas in the Outback Bowl. The Nittany Lions have dominated the Boilermakers in the schools' history, going 15-3-1, including winning the past eight, But, O'Connell will be the difference here. Take PURDUE! |

09-01-22 | Rangers v. Red Sox -1.5 | Top | 8-9 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 49 m | Show |
Texas at Boston 7:10 ET Red Sox over Rangers- Boston's Rich Hill (6-5, 4.32 ERA) is starting for his fifth different team in the last four years and 11th clubs in his 17-year career. After a slow start he has won four of his last five decisions surrendering just a pair of walks with 17 K's in hid last three starts. Texas will start 2nd year man Glenn Otto (6-8,4.79) and his weakness is his lack of control walking over five per nine innings worked. Red Sox are 4-1 versus Rangers in last five meets at Fenway and 21-10 overall in the last 31 meetings. Texas also just 8-26 on the AL East road. Take BOSTON! |

08-27-22 | Vikings +1.5 v. Broncos | 13-23 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 10 m | Show
Minnesota at Denver 9:00 ET Vikings over Broncos- Everybody is trying to play possum during the preseason and some actually need the playing time and that would be the 0-2 Vikings. Denver is keeping Russell Wilson under wraps and they are expecting a huge seasonal turn around this year but Minnesota may be as bad as the pundits say. Even so I'm looking for a win out of the Vikes during the preseason and this is it! Take MINNESOTA! |

08-27-22 | Washington Commanders +6 v. Ravens | Top | 15-17 | Win | 100 | 9 h 12 m | Show |
Washington at Baltimore 7:05 ET Commanders (+) over Ravens- All I have say about this game is of Lamar Jackson plays he is not the 'brightest' bulb on the tree. Baltimore has now won 3,321 straight preseason games (Okay I embellished a little) and it's getting to where the 'public' is riding them every week during the preseason. So, playing the part of the spoiler the 0-2 Commanders will tip the cart over against the 2-0 Ravens. I don't expect Baltimore to show anything or play any starters at all. Take WASHINGTON! |
|||||||
08-27-22 | Bears v. Browns -5 | 21-20 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 11 m | Show
Chicago at Cleveland 7:00 ET Browns (-) over Bears- Here are a pair of clubs that are not expected to make the playoffs this season. Cleveland's situation seems to be in turmoil but things are not as bad as they seem. The Browns still have the No. 2 ground game and their rushing defense is among the top in the NFL. Teams that face the kind of adversity that the Browns are enduring get stronger and bond together. Bears have already won their two games and that's enough for them. Take CLEVELAND! |
|||||||
08-26-22 | Guardians v. Mariners +103 | Top | 2-3 | Win | 103 | 11 h 43 m | Show |

Over his past five starts, the 2020 AL Cy Young Award winner has a 1.62 ERA. Bieber is 1-2 with a 3.75 ERA in four career starts against Seattle. Gilbert will seek his first victory since July 5 at San Diego. He's 0-2 with a 5.61 ERA over his past eight starts, though half of those have come against the division-leading New York Yankees and Houston Astros. Gilbert is 1-1 with a 4.22 ERA in two starts against Cleveland. Take SEATTLE! |

08-26-22 | Bills v. Panthers -6.5 | Top | 0-21 | Win | 100 | 9 h 53 m | Show |
Buffalo at Carolina 7:05 ET Panthers (-) over Bills- Now, isn't this silly! Only three other teams won less games than Carolina last season while Buffalo is the definitive AFC favorite to get to the Super Bowl. The Bills are 2-0 in the preseason and are ready for their opener in LA right now coming off their 42-15 beatdown over Denver. Mayfield earned the starting nod and the team is settled and more confident with the choice as Darnold everybody realizes is the pits. Watch for the Bills to avoid playing anyone of significance while looking for Sam Darnold to lead the second half win and cover. Take CAROLINA! |

Chargois returned this week after he was on the injured list since April 9 due to left oblique tightness. He appeared in relief twice in the just-concluded Angels series, yielding one run, which was unearned, in two innings. The Boston rotation turns to Michael Wacha (8-1, 2.28 ERA) who leads the Boston staff in ERA, has walked just 10 batters over his last nine starts covering 52 1/3 innings. Taker BOSTON! |

08-26-22 | Reds v. Nationals -140 | 7-3 | Loss | -140 | 8 h 40 m | Show
Cincinnati at Washington 7:05 ET Nationals over Reds- The Nationals hope that Friday's starter Cade Cavalli is part of their rebuild. The right-hander will make his major league debut against a depleted Cincinnati lineup. Washington manager Dave Martinez announced Wednesday that Cavalli, one of the organization's top prospects, would be called up from Triple-A Rochester to start the series opener against Cincinnati.
