One of the reason these clubs are headed in different directions is because of the trade last February as the Celtics have aged and Oklahoma City is getting better. But, the Thunder are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games in Boston. It need of a win the veteran Celtics pull it together tonight. Take BOSTON!

Okay, I admit the Spurs are 7-4 very respectable and on pace to once again host a playoff series. The problem for them comes from their point spread results where they are only 1-6 ATS in their last seven and just 7-19-1 in their last 27 dating back to last season. Portland off yesterday's loss to Orlando are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings between these two. With Russell Westbrook (40) and Kevin Durant (35) scoring 75 points between them on the road the Thunder should be full of confidence heading home but, this Grizzlies team plays tough inside and won't give ground here. VEGAS INSIDERS- Believe it or not I have had all four point spread winners in this series and have posted three of these games as best bets. Miami's 'Big-3' scored 83 points in Game 4 including the last 63 of the game as the Celtics just couldn't stop them from controlling the tempo in Boston. Now, with the series returning to South Beach the overall physical strength and youth of the Heat will endure. The Celtics realize that to beat this Heat team three straight is not a reality. While watching Atlanta win I couldn't help but realize that they are not the 'brightest' team in the NBA. They are raw and can play at times but I believe under pressure they will wilt. Chicago must shoot better from the outside this time around as they were just 3 of 16 in Game 3 while Derek Rose was 12 of 32 from the floor. Memphis has played extremely well at home winning 23 of their last 31 against the points and 12 in-a-row straight-up. No Miami starter shot 50% and as a team they were only 5 of 23 from the 3-point arch. Game 2 is also in Miami and the favorite is 14-6 against the points in the last 20 meetings so the Heat seem to have the advantage. We win here it could be a 'great' day otherwise...well it's my 'Money Game' and the money is on Portland, everybody's got them...if 'they' win we lose. Dallas has a reputation of leaving the playoffs early as they were bumped out of the playoffs in the first round for the third time in the last four years. The Mavericks had the same number of wins (57) as the Lakers as these two split the series series each winning at home...I like that trend. DALLAS!

NBA VEGAS INSIDER- The No.5 Atlanta Hawks come into the playoffs having lost their last six games both straight-up and against the points and are probably facing the team no one really considers a champion, but the Orlando Magic have Dwight Howard. Howard can prove to be the most powerful force in the NBA and he is rested and ready to go and add the Magic lead the league in 3-pointers (9.4). Hawks won three of four meetings and that only makes me like Orlando even more. Take the MAGIC!

NBA MEGABUCKS- I knew I would end up doing this and I really hate for it to happen but I think the Heat are the side in this one. Miami ended up as the 2 Seed in the East with the leagues 3rd best record with 58 wins. Philadelphia has been a mild surprise, but still ended as a .500 ball club winning 41 games after starting 3-11, they were with a great points spread season going 11 games over .500. So, I think Vegas has posted a game that attracts 'action' on the dog. Miami really stepped up their play the last six weeks or so and the win over the Celtics has given them the confidence needed. Take HEAT!

NBA MEGABUCKS- Okay, enough is enough! Are the Lakers just laying down until the playoffs get underway or are they having more serious problems? I believe that tonight's contest against the San Antonio Spurs will give us some answers. The Spurs have guaranteed themselves the top spot in the West while the Lakers may still be dropping with their seeded spot. Los Angeles needs to right the ship if for nothing else their state on mind. Take the LAKERS!

NBA VEGAS INSIDERS- Now, is this right? I use Miami as my Game of the Month winner yesterday and now I have a chance to bet against them on the road tonight. I seems to good to be true! I mean, isn't Miami supposed to sleep-walk through this one after beating the Celtics by 23 points, handing the their worse loss of the year on National Television. Here's hoping Eric Spoelstra rests some veterans. ALANTA!

NBA MEGABUCKS- It is kind of hard to believe that these two clubs are only two games apart at this point of the season as Oklahoma City is becoming a force in the West and the champion Lakers have come back to the pack (at least during the regular season). Los Angeles has now dropped their last four both straight-up and against the points while the Thunder are off three straight wins and 17 of their last 21. It is because of how well Oklahoma City is playing that the Lakers will be ready to give their maximum effort. Thunder struggle on Sunday's going 6-22 ATS in their last 28. Take LAKERS!

NBA VEGAS INSIDERS- The Boston Celtics have had their way against the Miami Heat not only this season (3-0) but in their last 35 meetings as Boston has covered the number 25 times. This game sets up differently from the rest as their has been a major change in Boston not only on the court but in their heads as well. Trading Kendrick Perkins has had a negative effect on the Celtics and left them weaker mentality and on the floor. Miami will be ready for this encounter as the 'Big-3' James, Wade and Bosh are beginning to mesh. Take MIAMI!

NBA VEGAS INSIDERS- The defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers were on a 17-1 run after the All-star break and have since dropped three straight including a loss to the lowly Jazz. With their playoff slot assured it looks like Phil Jackson will just try and get his troops through the next week without any mishaps. Portland had 'covered' nine straight at home against the Lakers until their final meeting last year and first meeting this year. Look for that trend to reappear as Portland gets the outright win. NBA VEGAS INSIDERS- The Utah Jazz have to win out in their final four games to kept from having their second losing season in 29 seasons. The Jazz who have traditionally possessed one of the strongest home court advantages in all of sports are only 20-19 straight-up at home. One team that the Jazz have dominated until this season is the Trailblazers who they had defeated five times in-a-row until a December loss. Look Utah show some of the 'old stuff' and pull out the win. JAZZ!

NBA MEGABUCKS- The Boston Celtics are looking to re-establish their swagger and a win over the Chicago Bulls would be perfect for their mindset. The Bulls have won the last two meetings but have dropped three straight to the points at home. Two injured Celtics have returned to the line-up are Jermaine O'Neal got jis first start on Sunday and Donte West the game before that. Add the fact that Garnett was out in the last meeting leads me to Boston. Take the CELTICS!

NBA MEGABUCKS- Since 'The Trade' where the Knicks acquired Chauncey Billups and Camelo Anthony they have gone in the opposite direction especially against the point spread as they are just 3-10 ATS in their last 13 and the Denver Nuggets are 16 of their last 18 ATS. New York has had the advantage against the 76ers covering five of the last six meetings but Philadelphia is 8-2 ATS against the Atlanta Division. Coming off a game on Tuesday against the Raptors the Knicks have dropped three straight in the second of back-to-back contests. Philly is eager to stop a three games losing streak to the New Yorkers. NBA VEGAS INSIDERS- The 'number' on this game appears to me to be inflated as the Trailblazers have struggled against Golden State dropping two of three and winning by only one points as a 5-point favorite. NBA DOUBLE PLAY- Much to LeBron's pleasure it doesn't appear that the Cavaliers are going to make the playoffs but then again neither are the Charlotte Bobcats as they trail the Pacers by two games with six to play. Indiana holds the tie-breaker so Charlotte is actually three games behind that spot. Cleveland meanwhile is the first team in NBA history to go from 60 wins to 60 losses in consecutive seasons. The pressure is on the Bobcats and they have dropped their last two games and this will be number three. Take CAVALIERS!
