We like the Indiana Hoosiers to defeat the Illinois Fighting Illini on Tuesday at 7:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Illinois lost by double digits at home against USC in its last game. Its now 12-4 this season.

The Fighting Illini are now just 3-6 versus the spread over their L9 games this year.

They are also 0-3 against the spread their L3 games at home against Indiana.

The Hoosiers are also off a loss, but it was on the road to Iowa. They are also now 12-4.

We think that they could definitely have some trouble scoring again against the Rams who will be rested up for this game. Minnesota's defense is also strong though. With its "show blitz" looks, it could confuse the Rams offense a bit. Before last weekend, Los Angeles saw the total stay UNDER in three games in a row. The Rams have also seen the total go UNDER in five straight games played on a Monday (Prime-time.)
