DMack's Friday Night MAC Attack is on the Buffalo Bulls Toledo has won five straight games and is 8-3 in the MAC but the Rockets are just don't match up with tonight' visitor. Buffalo has won the last three games in the series, all by double-digits, including a 110-80 beat down in early January that saw the Bulls shoot 15-30 from downtown and score 65 points in the second half. Remember that Buff is a veteran outfit that beat Arizona in the Dance last year and has been sleepwalking through conference play. This is the perfect spot for the Bulls to get their Mojo going heading into the post season. Buffalo 83-67.

DMack's Friday Night Ivy League Gold is on the Harvard Crimson I saw able to see quite a bit of both Princeton games last weekend, losses to Yale and Brown. The Tigers are defensively clueless and turned a 24-11 lead over Brown into a 15 point deficit in about eight minutes after Bear after Bear drove the lane for layups with complete impunity. Harvard and Yale are the conference heavies to catch the Crimson getting points is a gift. Harvard straight up.

The home side has won six straight in the series and the Razors have lost six straight on this floor but can get a huge monkey off it's back here with a win against a Mizzou outfit that looks to have quit (2-8 L10) and SEC home teams in games with spreads of three or less are just 7-14. Montreal has been the surprise in the East and this figures to be a good home spot versus a team that defensively is a sieve. DMack's ACC Game of the Week is on the Virginia Cavaliers In retrospect, losing to UMBC in the first round of the Big Dance might have been the best thing to happen to the Cavaliers who have taken no prisoners this year. Since losing to Duke, UVa has won two games by 25 and 27 points. The Cavs have covered 10 of their L11 as an ACC road favorite, have won the last six in the series, and have won five straight here in Raleigh ... three of these by 15+. Lay it.

TCU is 0-3 on the Big 12 road with two of the losses by 9+ points. Tech is just 1-3 L4 despite some of the best defensive metrics in he country. Going Red Raiders here as they are 11-2 L13 in the series and 6-0 on this floor. Texas Tech is not the most dependable home favorite but this number is very manageable and they are playing a team that allows opponents better than 53% shooting inside the arc which should help wake up the Raider offense.

DMack's Mountain West Game of the Month is on the Air Force Falcons In preparing for this year's college basketball, the general consensus among the talking heads was that that Air Force would be a bottom feeder in a very week Mountain West. The Falcons are good by any means but they are well coached, long, athletic, and play extremely hard as most service academies do. They also have some talent are are especially dangerous at home. San Jose State is the MWC punching bag are horrendous, looking mainly like a decent intramural team. The Spartans have little to no talent and will have to look to next year to be competitive EVEN in a VERY BAD Mountain West.

DMack's Warriors/Celtics Saturday Super Play is on the Golden State Warriors We'll go ahead and say use the cliche that this is a possible NBA Final preview because it really is. Both teams are getting healthy and both teams are starting to find their form. Golden State has won nine straight going 7-2 ATS in the process. Boston has won five straight and the Celtics are 8-2 ATS in their home games. In the end, just don't see Boston committed enough on defense to hold off the Warriors from the perimeter and the Celtics just don't have the consistent scoring needed to deal with a Golden State team seemingly hitting on all cylinders while working Boogie cousins back into the lineup. Any type of Golden State shooting night gets it done. Golden State 118-107.

The Bulls come off their first conference loss at Northern Illinois and hopefully that will be the slap in the face that breaks the lethargy. Kent has win three straight but is just 3-9 L12 in the series and just don't have the firepower to play with the Bulls if the visitors are having any type of a shooting night. They do play decent pressure defense in creating opponent turnovers 23.4% of the time but the reality is that this is a 50-50 team in a young/not-very-good Pac 12. Washington has won seven straight and playing very solid basketball. The Huskies are making 43% of their treys in conference play. The Clippers on the other hand, got out to a fast start in October/November but have lost five of six and cannot afford to lose games like these if they are to compete for one of the final 2-3 spots in the ultra-competitive West. Great spot to take the points and sprinkle in some money line as well. Clippers straight up.

New England has lost their last three championship games on the road and has not claimed an AFC title outside of Foxboro in 14 years. This year, the Pats have lost five times and the road and have been unable to run the football in those games. The Chiefs are the first team in NFL history to score at least 26 points in every game and regardless of the weather, have plenty of weapons to solve the Pats. The Kansas City defense was brilliant for the first time all year in bottling up Andrew Luck last week and have no excuse to not pressure Brady here. This is the first time in 70 games that the "Goat" enters a game as an underdog and their is not much that he'll be able to do about it. Kansas City 33-24.

They've lost five straight visits to Carbondale ... all by 11+ points. That said, these teams met a couple of weeks ago with Iona winning a 103-84 free-for-all, connecting on 17-31 treys. Leopards generally don't change their spots and don't see the Hawks playing better defense here vs. a team that is 15-9 L24 as a MAAC road favorite. Iona comfortably.

Sad that St Joe's has fallen to this level for The Hawk, Phil Martelli. St Joe's is already 0-4 in conference with three losses by 14+ points and the Hawks are just 1-7 L8 as a home dog. The Blue Jays are always tough, supremely coached, but struggling since losing their big man to injury. Creighton struggles on perimeter defense allowing better than 40% from behind the arc.
