Gonzaga has walked through their last two WCC opponents winning by 40+ while allowing just 84 points. San Francisco is 14-2 with its two losses by just six points but .... the Dons have lost 14 straight in the series and haven't seen anything close to what they face here. The Zags have won seven straight on this floor, six by double-digits, and getting healthier by the day. Expect the Zags to restore order in the conference and send a message here.

The Suns haven't been much defending their home floor going 1-5-1 in their L7 games. Don't expect much defense to be played here (series 7-2 to the over L9) and with the total a modest 217, a look at the over might also be in play. Denver 125-106.

The Coogs have two true road wins, at BYU and Oklahoma State but this is their first roadie in a month and that is reflective in the line. Temple will be a solid test but the Owls are just 2-3 against the KP Top 100 and with their best win coming vs. Missouri Houston owns the second best FG% against defense in the country and will wear the home team down late and win by double-digits.

DMack's Vandy/Baylor Texas Bowl Super Play is on the Vanderbilt Commodores
Baylor is a nice story going from the Art Briles fiasco and one win last year to 6-6 and a bowl game this year BUT ... this game means so much more to a Vandy program looking for it's first winning season and bowl win since 2013. The Dores had to win three of their final four to get bowl eligible and that was against SEC competition as opposed to Baylor who was a bottom half team in a down year for the Big 12. No doubt that Baylor is a team to watch in the future but today belongs to Vandy who don't get many chances to shine like this with four-year starter Kyle Shurmer (yes, those Shurmers) the key.

Mack Attack Independence Bowl Super Play is on the Temple Owls It seems to be a reoccurring theme for Temple over the past decade to see their football program get good and watch their coach bolt for a better job. This year's defection went to Georgia Tech who perhaps was bit by bad karma while getting blown out last night. Temple is a few defensive players away from being VERY VERY good. This team should have beaten UCF handily and the Owl Offense should do all kinds of business (like 40+ points worth) against a very suspect Duke stop unit. Not the least bit concerned about the hook here ... Temple 45-23.

Mack Attack Quick Lane Bowl Super Play is on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Long time option coach Paul Johnson steps away after this game and none of his staff was retained by the new regime. That said, expect a big big effort from current Jackets who won four of their last five with the loss to Georgia. Minnesota is is 5-0 when they allow 15 or less points, 1-6 when they allow more. The Gophers allowed 300+ rushing yards in three games and face an option attack here of the same quality as Army and Navy. PJ Flech is making progress but this is a case of better team that has faced better, with better scheme, and plenty of motivation. G Tech by two touchdowns.

DMack's Monday Night Magic is on the Oakland Raiders This is VERY VERY likely the Raiders final game in Oakland. The city has filed suit against the team for leaving and the Raiders could be playing anywhere in 2019 until they move into their new digs in Las Vegas in 2020. The 3-11 Raiders and Arizona are battling for the top draft pick but Oakland has multiple No.1's and a final win at home in their final game against a division opponent they hate would probably be far more meaningful to the franchise than a laydown loss to a (again) division opponent, with a lame duck coach, and team that has nothing to play for. The Broncos have scored just 14 and 16 points their last two games and lost their last two visits here. Thinking that the Raiders will do all they can to win here for whatever it will mean to their legacy. Raiders 23-17.

DMack's Week 16 Upset Shocker is on the San Francisco 49ers The Bears are a strange animal and with the division locked up and little chance of an opening bye, it will be interesting to see their effort on the road in this spot. The 49ers are breaking hearts in December just like they did last year with Jimmy G. Mullens has shown to be a capable backup QB and the 49ers issue all of this year has been the INABILITY of creating turnovers. Thinking the home offense is going to be able to do some damage here and keep this within a kick or win straight up. Take the very live home dog here.

DMack's Week 16 NFL Road Warrior is on the Atlanta Falcons Carolina has lost six straight (1-5 ATS) and has pretty much thrown in the towel by shutting down Cam Newton. Heinecke (Old Dominion) gets the start here against a Falcon defense off it's best performance of the year albeit against Arizona. The Falcons won 31-24 at home in Week Two. Both teams so decimated at this point the home and away is pretty much a non-factor. Atlanta has won five of the last six series games and with Matty Ice at the controls, the visitor is the better option. Take Atlanta.

The Vikes have lost three straight road games coring just two TDs in 21 drives in their last two. New offensive coordinator ran the ball down Miami's throat last week in his debut and expect to see repeat here with Vike ground attack 40-180 and Cousins picking his spots. The Lions are 2-6 L8 and have not scored more than 17 points in four straight games. Toast. Vikings 31-10.

I don't think so. The Spurs are 5-1 in their L6 with an inexplicable loss to the Chicago Bulls. The five wins are all by 25+ points, an NBA record and that includes wins over the 76ers, Clippers, and T-Wolves. Houston is 0-5 straight in games CP3 has not played in this year and 0-9 dating back to last year including the playoffs. Gonna make Houston show me. Spurs straight up.

DMack's Armed Forces Bowl Super Play is on the Army Cadets Can't see much motivation here for a Houston team that lost three of it' final four games (all key) and will be without QB King (injury) and stud DL Oliver who will be prepping for the NFL. Army is having a monster season thanks to its power ground game and stingy defense. The Cadets haven't lost since September (Oklahoma in OT) and batter people with the option and relentless time of possession. Houston was shredded for 344 when they played Navy so this doesn't appear to be a great matchup for for the Coogs. Army 26-10.

Neutral court here at United Center in Chicago but love me some Buckeye beat down here against a VERY young Bruin outfit.

Wake is 11-4-1 L16 as a dog and fits a 42-22 ATS system involving 5-6 and 4-6 teams that win their last games to get bowl eligible or get invite. Oklahoma has won six straight against the No.26 schedule in the country and is 10-1. The Sooners are 5-1 against Top 100, top five in FG% defense, beat Northwestern by 26 last year, and are coached by one of the top five in the game in Lon Kruger. Oklahoma by 10.

Weather also figures to be a factor in this game which is why the total is plummeting. At the end of the day, the Panthers need to run the ball and play defense. Toledo was blanked 34-0 by App State last year in a bowl and the Rockets have a history of not always showing up for every game. Catching the hook and a FG more than we should be ... grab the points.

Undoubtedly the class of the MAC, the Bulls can play and will not be intimidated here having bounced Arizona out of the Big Dance last year and already having won at West Virginia this year. Syracuse is 7-3 after home loss to Old Dom in last. This is not a vintage Boeheim edition and Buff wins this straight up.
