01-05-20 | Vikings +9 v. Saints | 26-20 | Win | 100 | 14 h 25 m | Show
Minnesota at New Orleans 1:05 ET Vikings (+) over Saints- Isn't there some kind of trend that has one team winning their last three into the Playoffs and their opponent having lost their last two. I'm sure one of my buddies can come up with one for me but besides isn't Kirk Cousins 0-12 against anybody that can walk. Long story here as the season is 17 weeks and the Vikings did what was expected no more or less with Devin Cook leading the way and keeping the pressure off of Cousins meanwhile the Saints won five straight without Drew Brees and no one in the NFC won more games with 13. Cook returns to action here as does a healthy Alvin Kamara of the Saints. I do have a few trends that are interesting to note as New Orleans is 23-9 ATS after a win but just 2-5 ATS in their last seven at home but 0-4 as favorites in their last four playoff games. The Vikings bounce back after poor performances and are 38-14 ATS in their Last 52 games after a SU loss. What the heck, shit happens 'in' New Orleans! Take MINNESOTA! |
01-04-20 | San Diego State v. Utah State -2.5 | 77-68 | Loss | -116 | 11 h 33 m | Show
San Diego State at Utah State 10:00 ET Aggies (+) over Aztecs- One of the two remaining undefeated teams No. 12 San Diego State travels to Logan to play Utah State who is undefeated 8-0 at home. The Aggies may have gotten caught in a look-ahead situation last time out as they fell at UNLV 70-53 and never really get it a shot. Last season's Mountain West Conference Player of the Year Sam Merrill was held to 10 points in Las Vegas and I expect a huge rebound game from him here. SDS is 5-0 ATS in their five road games as favorites but the home team is 5-0-1 ATS in the last six meetings between these two. Utah State is 5-2 ATS as home dogs and get the money here. Take UTAH STATE! |
01-04-20 | Pistons -3 v. Warriors | 111-104 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
Detroit at Golden State 8:30 ET Pistons (-) over Warriors- The Pistons are a group of walking wounded as Blake Griffin, Marcus Morris and Luke Kennard are battling injury bugs. Talking about injuries there is no other team in the NBA that has had the hardship that the Warriors have had to endure this season. As thin as Golden State's roster has already been this season there are more trouble ahead as D'Angelo Russell, Kevon Looney and Willie Cauley-Stein are questionable. Detroits Andre Drummond who has 28 triple-doubles is o the trading block and should have another great performance just to get away from the Motor City. Take DETROIT! |
01-04-20 | Titans v. Patriots -4.5 | 20-13 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 28 m | Show
Tennessee at New England 8:15 ET Patriots (-) over Titans- The word is that Tom Brady is done and New England's reign is over. I think that I have heard that before. After blowing their chance for a first round bye the Patriots fell to the Dolphins at home last week as they just were not able to turn it on when they wanted too. They had had 10 straight season where they won the AFC East and received a bye and this is just the fourth time in 17 playoff appearances that they must play a Wild Card game. Tennessee routed Houston last week who laid down to preserve key players. The Pats are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five...take NEW ENGLAND! |
01-04-20 | Bills v. Texans -2.5 | 19-22 | Win | 100 | 21 h 36 m | Show
Buffalo at Houston 4:35 ET Texans (-) over Bills- These two AFC Wild Card combatants don't have the best of playoff records as the Bills are 0-5 SU in their last five playoff games with their last win coming in 1995 when led by Jim Kelly. Houston won their first NFL playoff game in 2011 when J.J. Watt was a rookie and lost last season to Indianapolis 21-7 with Deshaun Watson played as a rookie. The last time Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen faced the Texans as a rookie he was limited to 84 yards passing in a 21-13 loss at Houston. Take the TEXANS! |
01-04-20 | Iowa +3 v. Penn State | Top | 86-89 | Push | 0 | 3 h 45 m | Show |
Iowa vs Penn State 2:00 ET Hawkeyes (+) over Nittany Lions- Two more Top-25 ranked teams in the Big Ten hook-up at the Palestra in Philadelphia a place where neither of these two teams have much experience. Both clubs are on 4-game winning streaks with Penn State's biggest win over Maryland at home and Iowa has wins over Cincinnati and Minnesota. After that win State vaulted into the Top-25 the first time that they have been ranked since 1996. Iowa is 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games on neutral sites while the Lions are 16-6-2 ATS in their last 24 games overall. The Hawkeyes are led by Big Ten leading scorer Luka Garza who is averaging 21.6 points and 10 rebounds per game. More big game experience for the Hawkeyes. Take IOWA! |
01-04-20 | Missouri +8.5 v. Kentucky | 59-71 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 41 m | Show
Missouri at Kentucky 2:00 ET Tigers (+) over Wildcats- Kentucky is coming off of a 78-70 overtime win at home Saturday their tenth straight home game and they have a victory over then No. 1 Michigan State as well. Missouri who opened the season 4-4 with losses to Xavier, Butler and Illinois have now won four straight and are 6-1 ATS following a ATS win. The Wildcats are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and are 1-4 ATS against a team with a winning record. The bad news for Missouri is that the home team is 7-0 ATS in the past seven meetings. Still, the Tigers are now playing with confidence and will take this one down the the final buzzer. Take MISSOURI! |
01-03-20 | Heat v. Magic +2.5 | Top | 85-105 | Win | 100 | 6 h 13 m | Show |
Miami at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Heat- Sometimes in sports one team may seem to have another club's 'number' despite the rival being an inferior squad. The Miami Heat have won three NBA titles while Orlando has yet to even appear in an NBA Final and yet the in-state rival has won eight of the last 11 meeting including 3-1 last season. The Heat are 16-1 SU at home but just 9-8 SU on the road and are 1-4-2 ATS in their last seven in Back-to-back contests. Orlando is just 2-5-1 ATS as a home underdog but are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Take ORLANDO! |
01-03-20 | Hawks +11 v. Celtics | 106-109 | Win | 100 | 6 h 12 m | Show
Atlanta at Boston 7:05 ET Hawks (+) over Celtics- Boston is getting healthy and have won xis of their last seven while the Hawks remain grounded despite breaking a 10-game losing streak on Monday with a win at Orlando. The win came as ball hog and 'gunner' Trae Young is sidelined with an ankle injury and the rest of the squad understands the 'team' concept. The Celtics have won seven of the last eight meetings and are 5-2 ATS at home against Atlanta. Five men that play as a team can surprise even the best of NBA clubs. Take ATLANTA! |
01-03-20 | Blazers -6.5 v. Wizards | 122-103 | Win | 100 | 6 h 12 m | Show
Portland at Washington 7:00 ET Trailblazers (-) over Wizards- Carmelo Anthony's 'return' to New York was a disaster as the Trailblazers were blown out by the lowly New York Knicks (Megabucks winner) and admit that they just got 'outplayed' despite Anthony's season high 26 points. Today, we have Portland 0-5-1 ATS in their last six on the road and is 6-12 SU on the road overall a road favored at Washington. The Wizards are 1-4 ATS at home in their last five and 2-8 ATS against teams with losing records. Take PORTLAND! |
01-02-20 | St. Mary's v. San Francisco +3 | Top | 69-58 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 21 m | Show |
St. Mary's at San Francisco 11:00 ET Dons (+) over Gaels- Oh gone are the glory days of Bill Russell and K.C. Jones (some need to look that up) when the Dons ruled the college basketball world. Still, at 11-4 San Francisco has become more respectable and are looking to compete in the West Coast conference against the likes of Gonzaga, Brigham Young and tonight St. Mary's. The Gaels have won four straight and 9-of-10 with the lone loss to No. 20 Dayton and are undefeated since. San Francisco is off of an overtime loss to a tough Harvard team but are 3-0 ATS in the last three meetings at home and the home team is 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
01-02-20 | Thunder +2 v. Spurs | 109-103 | Win | 100 | 9 h 51 m | Show
Oklahoma City at San Antonio 8:30 ET Thunder (+) over Spurs- OKC has put together three straight wins and eight wins in the last nine games and are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. The Spurs seem to have come to life winning 3-of-4 both SU and ATS. The Thunder have surprised many of the pundits with their winning ways are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as an underdog but are 0-6 ATS in their last six trips to San Antonio. But, this is a different Spurs team that is just 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games at home and 5-16 ATS as favorites. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
01-02-20 | Oregon State +2.5 v. Utah | 69-81 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 3 m | Show
Oregon State at Utah 8:30 ET Beavers (+) over Utes- Opening Pac-12 game for both these clubs and they enter with impressive records. Oregon State at 10-2 brings in the conferences second leading scorer in senior forward Tres Tinkle averaging 20.4 points per contest and making 49.1% of his 3-point attempts. Utah has a 18-13 series advantage and are 13-2 at home against the Beavers but Oregon State won last year and they do it again tonight. Take OREGON STATE! |
01-02-20 | Jazz v. Bulls +4 | Top | 102-98 | Push | 0 | 9 h 35 m | Show |
Utah at Chicago 8:05 ET Bulls (+) over Jazz- The Jazz who have won three straight and 8-of-9 going 7-2 ATS are off of their best defensive effort of the season holding the Pistons to just 81 points on Monday. Utah is 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall but are just 105 ATS after a win by 10-points or more. Chicago is off of a beating by Milwaukee but are 8-0 ATS in their last eight games after a straight-up loss. The Bulls are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings including a 114-83 loss in their last meeting. This time take the BULLS! |
01-02-20 | Nuggets +1.5 v. Pacers | 124-116 | Win | 100 | 7 h 2 m | Show
Denver at Indiana 7:05 ET Nuggets (+) over Pacers- Both of these clubs are in mists of winning ball as the Pacers are 7-3 SU and ATS in their last 10 while Denver is 8-2 SU but a disappointing 2-7-1 ATS in those 10 games. After a pair of road losses the Pacers returned home on Tuesday and destroyed Philadelphia 115-97 while the Nuggets were getting pounded at Houston 130-104. Although the Nuggets are 0-4 ATS in their last four visits to Indiana the Pacers are 3-7-1 ATS after a SU win of 10 points or more. Take DENVER! |
01-02-20 | Tennessee v. Indiana +3 | 23-22 | Win | 100 | 7 h 33 m | Show
Tennessee vs Indiana 7:00 ET Hoosiers (+) over Volunteers- Tennessee started the season slowly losing their opener to Georgia State and won just one of their first five games. The Vols closed the season winning six of seven including their last five in-a-row. Indiana has ben under-valued the entire season as they are 6-2 ATS against teams with winning records and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS loss. Although Tennessee is 6-1 ATS in their last seven they are just 4-10 ATS when favorites. Take INDIANA! |
01-01-20 | Baylor v. Georgia -4 | 14-26 | Win | 100 | 26 h 5 m | Show
Baylor vs Georgia 5:45 ET Bulldogs (-) over Bears- These two clubs are so similar in style and play this season it is only fitting that they meet here. Baylor lost to only one team this season but they did lose twice to Oklahoma while Georgia who played for the SEC championship and were completely out-classed by LSU (who hasn't been) has had a tougher overall schedule. I can give you plenty of trends that will enhance your viewpoint of the Baylor Bears, for example they are 24-9 ATS in their last 33 as an underdog and that they re 5-0 in their last five games overall, but. When teams meet in bowl games the conference strength goes a long way and the Bears sadly are just 2-7-1 in their last 10 non-conference games. Georgia is 8-2 ATS on neutral sites, 8-1 ATS as favorites and 5-1 ATS in their last six bowl games. Take the BULLDOGS! |
01-01-20 | Wolves v. Bucks -17.5 | 104-106 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 17 m | Show
Minnesota at Milwaukee 8:00 ET Bucks (-) over Timberwolves- Minnesota was a nice win for 'us' over Brooklyn last time out especially because they were without their two top scorers in Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Tonight they will feel the impact of their absence and even if they do play (Not) the Bucks are on a destroy mission and have already taken down the T'wolves in November 134-106...same story here! Take MILWAUKEE! |
01-01-20 | Blazers v. Knicks +4 | Top | 93-117 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show |
Portland at New York 7:30 ET Knicks (+) over Trailblazers- Things can change pretty quickly in the NBA and the fall of the Trailblazers didn't take long. Portland who made to the Western Conference Finals last season are 14-20 on the years having lost their last four and don't have much hope of making the playoffs at all this season. New York hasn't had aspirations of getting to the post season and they fired their coach David Fizdale when they were 4-19 and they have gone 5-6 since under Mike Miller. The Blazers have won six straight in the series but that ends tonight! Take the KNICKS! |
01-01-20 | Magic -4 v. Wizards | 122-101 | Win | 100 | 6 h 2 m | Show
Orlando at Washington 6:00 ET Magic (+) over Wizards- Washington rose up despite injuries to defeat Miami 123-105 but have won just two of their last 10 overall while the Magic have been pulling their own disappearing act losing their last two the Milwaukee and lowly Atlanta. Fortunately for Orlando the Wizards as 2-7 ATS when facing a team with a losing record and they are 0-4 ATS after a straight-up win and 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games. Take the MAGIC! |
01-01-20 | Wisconsin -2.5 v. Oregon | Top | 27-28 | Loss | -119 | 23 h 16 m | Show |
Wisconsin vs Oregon 5:00 ET Badgers (-) over Ducks- My oh my...The Ducks win the Pac-12 crushing favored Utah and now they show up in the Rose Bowl ands underdog to the Big Ten loser Wisconsin. What I am thinking here is that the Big Ten is that much stronger both physically and probably mentally than their west coast opponents. The Badgers had Ohio State by the short hairs in the Championship game but let it slip away as a 14-point underdog that covered in the loss. I don't know if you get what I'm driving at but I will have the Badgers and so should you. Take WISCONSIN! |
01-01-20 | Michigan +8 v. Alabama | Top | 16-35 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 54 m | Show |
Michigan vs Alabama 1:00 ET Wolverines (+) over Crimson Tide- I am really looking forward to watching this contest as there is much to be learned about the Crimson Tide as to who they play this game. Michigan after the way they closed the season getting absolutely destroyed by Ohio State will be ready to erase the memory of that embarrassment. The Tide has been exposed of late failing 0-5 ATS in their last five against Top-10 teams. I believe that Michigan will show more heart here and we will get o see Nick Saban bitch to officials about his own mistakes. Harbaugh wants this one personally! Take MICHIGAN! |
01-01-20 | Minnesota +7.5 v. Auburn | 31-24 | Win | 100 | 19 h 35 m | Show
Minnesota vs Auburn 1:00 ET Golden Gophers (+) over Tigers- I think the under-laying thoughts about this game will be that Minnesota had their chances and just could meet the test that makes them worthy. Auburn had their shortcoming yes but they defeated Alabama and that carries a lot of weight...too much. Tigers quarterback Nike Coe is sitting out this one to prepare for the NFL draft (let me tell you kid, you are NOT ready now and can use all the playing time you can get). The 'cats have had a great season and are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games overall while the Golden Gophers will be looking to show people why they are 7-2 ATS as an underdog in last nine and 17-6 ATS after a loss. Take MINNESOTA! |
12-31-19 | Mavs v. Thunder +2 | Top | 101-106 | Win | 100 | 9 h 11 m | Show |
Dallas at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET Thunder (+) over Mavericks- All eyes will on Luca Doncic tonight to see how he is faring after going into concussion protocol as he averages 28.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 9.0 assists (really impressive numbers to say the least). Dallas the most improved team in the NBA this season is 10-3 ATS as a favorite and are 15-5-2 ATS after a SU loss and are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. OKC is 7-2 ATS as a home underdog and are 46-22-3 ATS at home against teams with winning records. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
12-31-19 | Nuggets +2.5 v. Rockets | 104-130 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 8 m | Show
Denver at Houston 7:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Rockets- James Harden is questionable because of a sprained toe and the Rockets may need him against the surging Nuggets who have won nine of ten and get Houston while they are hurting. The Rockets may also be without center Clint Capela who is nursing a sore knee. Denver has struggled in Houston where they have lost their last six encounters but this 'number' tell us something else. Take the NUGGETS! |
12-31-19 | Clippers v. Kings +8 | 105-87 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 3 m | Show
L.A. Clippers at Sacramento 5:00 ET Kings (+) over Clippers- The Clippers have won nine straight meetings overall against the Kings including 13 straight at Sacramento. The Kings have lost seven straight and have only one 'cover' to show and that was in their last contest against the Nuggets. LA is off of a loss to Utah but are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite and are actually 7-0 ATS in the last seven meetings. Sacramento is actually 13-4 ATS in their last 17 as an underdog and get the money today. Take the KINGS! |
12-31-19 | Georgia State +7.5 v. Wyoming | 17-38 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 46 m | Show
Georgia State vs Wyoming 4:30 ET Panthers (+) over Cowboys- Wyoming was cruising along at 6-2 before losing quarterback Sean Chambers for the season and dropped three of the final four. Georgia State like Wyoming is 7-5 and opened the season with an outright win at Tennessee defeating the Volunteers 38-30. The Cowboys opened the season with an upset win at Missouri defeating the Tigers outright 37-31 as a 15-point underdog. But, without Chambers they just haven't gotten it done. The Panthers will rely on the Sun Belt's leading rusher Tra Barnett for had 242 yards against Troy.Take GEORGIA STATE! |
12-31-19 | Kansas State +3 v. Navy | Top | 17-20 | Push | 0 | 6 h 1 m | Show |
Navy vs Kansas State 3:45 ET Wildcats (+) over Midshipman- If there is a one-man gang in college football this year it is Navy dual threat quarterback Malcolm Perry who scored 21 touchdowns and ran for over 300 yards against Army. But, I know one thing about Kansas State, they will punish you as witnessed in their dominating win over Oklahoma. The Wildcats QB Skyler Thompson provided 22 TD's with 12 passing and 10 rushing and led a more balanced attack. Trends for the Navy are strong as they are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 over and 5-0 ATS in their last five bowl games but they are 4-9-1 ATS against teams with winning records and they are 1-3-1 ATS on neutral sights. Kansas State can provide you with some ammo as they are 39-19-1 ATS in their last 59 games as an underdog and they are 4-0 ATS in non-conference games. Take KANSAS STATE! |
12-31-19 | Florida State +4.5 v. Arizona State | Top | 14-20 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 23 m | Show |
Florida State vs Arizona State 2:00 ET Seminoles (+) over Sun Devils- Sometimes certain matchups make you do things that you never though you would. For example, here I am backing the Seminoles after having seen them play a putrid season that saw them cover just four of 12 games and ending the year getting blown out 40-17 in their final game against state rival Florida. Arizona State is off of a pair of great wins defeating Oregon and rival Arizona to close the season after four straight losses. So how about this stuff...ASU is 0-8 ATS in their last eight games as a favorite, they are 1-6 ATS on neutral sites, they are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 bowl games and they are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games overall. FSU having a terrible time with Taggart are 3-9-1 ATS as a dog bowl shine in bowl games going 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 and 5-1-1 ATS as a bowl underdog. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
12-30-19 | Suns +4.5 v. Blazers | 122-116 | Win | 100 | 11 h 43 m | Show
Phoenix at Portland 10:00 ERT Suns (+) over Trailblazers- Phoenix who just ended an eight-game losing streak with a win over Sacramento and hope their fortunes continue against the struggling Trailblazers who have lost their last three. After dropping a 128-120 decision to the Lakers Saturday coach Terry Stotts was happy with the loss and that just doesn't bode well for Portland. The Suns are 5-2 ATS in their last seven meetings in Portland and get the cash here. Take PHOENIX! |
12-30-19 | Harvard v. San Francisco -5 | Top | 84-81 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 12 m | Show |
Harvard at San Francisco 9:00 ET Dons (-) over Crimson- Sunday I thought it odd that Harvard was favored on the road against a Pac-12 team in California and they delivered with a 71-63 win over the Golden Bears. Now, Harvard going to San Francisco where the Dons have struggled as a home favorite 3-8 ATS and the Crimson are 21-5-1 ATS as road underdogs. But, what gets me here is that the Crimson are favored and defeat a Pac-12 club and yet come up and underdog against a West Coast Conference team. Take SAN FRANCISCO |
12-30-19 | Seton Hall +2 v. DePaul | 74-66 | Win | 100 | 8 h 13 m | Show
Seton Hall at DePaul 8:30 ET Pirates (+) over Blue Demons- This is a comeback in epic proportions as DePaul has pulled themselves up from the depths and are 12-1 on the season. The Blue Demons who went three years winning only four Big East conference games are hosting Seton Hall who has the Big East's preseason player of the year in Myles Powell. Powell has missed the last two games (both wins) because of concession protocol and status is still questionable. This is the Big East opener for both and the Pirates are 7-2 ATS in conference openers under coach Kevin Willard. The Demons have made a leap this season but fall short here. Take SETON HALL! |
12-30-19 | Virginia +15 v. Florida | Top | 28-36 | Win | 100 | 10 h 38 m | Show |
Virginia vs Florida 8:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Gators- The moment this matchup was established I knew I liked my side and I haven't wavered since. I understand that there are a number of factors that should deter my side such as Florida is 3-0 in the Orange Bowl winning by an average margin of 15 points. I should also add that Virginia hasn't won a bowl games since 1995. For the most part I am not making the selection based on talent but on these teams previous outings. Florida closed the season with three huge wins including their final over arc rival Florida State 40-17 while Virginia was embarrassed and annihilated in the ACC Championship game by Clemson 62-17. Big effort out of the Cavaliers tonight. Take VIRGINIA! |
12-30-19 | Bucks v. Bulls +6.5 | Top | 123-102 | Loss | -101 | 9 h 46 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Chicago 8:00 ET Bulls (+) over Bucks- The day-in-and-day-out riggers NBA play has hit the Bucks as some are ailing including Giannis Antetokounmpo who is nursing a sore back. Milwaukee who wants it known that they believe that the are the leagues best are 21-9-1 ATS on the road against sub-500 teams. But, Chicago has found a groove and have won five of their last six including a 116-81 win as a 9.5-point favorite over Atlanta last time out. The Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last five and get another win here. Take CHICAGO! |
12-30-19 | Nets v. Wolves +3 | 115-122 | Win | 100 | 9 h 38 m | Show
Brooklyn at Minnesota 8:00 ET Timberwolves (+) over Nets- It just doesn't look like the expectations in Minnesota are just not being met. The Timberwolves just broke an 11-game losing streak with a 2OT win at Sacramento and then promptly lost to the Cavaliers their next time out. The disappointing Nets have lost three of their last four with their lone win coming over lowly Atlanta but are 9-2 ATS following an ATS loss. Brooklyn is still without a pair of guards as Kyrie 'World is Flat' Irving is still out and Caris LeVert is expected back in January. Take MINNESOTA! |
12-30-19 | Illinois v. California -6 | 20-35 | Win | 100 | 6 h 36 m | Show
Illinois vs California 4:00 ET Golden Bears (-) over Illini- California should have a distinct crowd advantage as their Berkeley campus is less than an hour away from the game site in Santa Clara. Illinois posted their sixth win in their tenth game and dropped their last two to Iowa and Northwestern to finish 6-6. The Illini haven't finished above .500 since 2010 and they will fall short here. The Golden Bears started 4-0 before an injury to QB Chase Garbers and then lost their next four., but their strong point is their defense that held four opponents to under 20 points. Tale CALIFORNIA! |
12-29-19 | 49ers v. Seahawks +3.5 | Top | 26-21 | Loss | -120 | 14 h 58 m | Show |
San Francisco at Seattle 8:20 ET Seahawks (+) over 49ers- Oh boy...who's next Steve Largent? The thing that I fear here is the oddsmakers over-reaction to Seattle injured running back situation. The Seahawks now have a pair of running backs that last played with the team in 2015 (Lynch) and 2014 (Turbin) and will still be running the same playbook. Jimmy Garoppolo has led the Niners to this point but I am having trouble with the way he wilted in the first meeting on a Monday Night. San Francisco has lost eight straight in Seattle and now they are installed the favorite...not with me! Take SEATTLE! |
12-29-19 | Rockets v. Pelicans +4 | Top | 112-127 | Win | 100 | 8 h 6 m | Show |
Houston at New Orleans 8:00 ET Pelicans (+) over Rockets- 'Breakup the Pelicans' is the new word around the NBA as New Orleans has put together a three-game winning streak and wins in four of their last five games. Houston who defeated the Nets at home last night is 4-1 ATS in their last five but are 3-7 ATS against teams with a losing record and 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings with the Pelicans. Add that Rockets center Clint Capela sat out last night's win and is day-to-day. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
12-29-19 | Hornets +3.5 v. Grizzlies | 104-117 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 0 m | Show
Charlotte at Memphis 8:00 ET Hornets (+) over Grizzlies- A pair of also rans match-up in Memphis where the Grizzlies will host Charlotte who has lost four straight for the first time this season. Memphis played last night and lost in Denver and are just 6-16 ATS in the second of back-to-back games and are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games as favorites. Charlotte is 7-1 ATS on the road against teams with losing home records and they are 5-0 ATS in their last five meetings at Memphis. Take the HORNETS! |
12-29-19 | Thunder +4 v. Raptors | Top | 98-97 | Win | 100 | 6 h 9 m | Show |
Oklahoma City at Toronto 6:00 ET Thunder (+) over Raptors- Oklahoma City has made it over the 500 mark with an overtime win at Charlotte Friday and have won five of their last seven and 10 of their last 15 while the Raptors get revenge from a Christmas Day loss to the Celtics. Toronto who is 15-7-1 ATS in their last 23 home games have had problems with the Thunder when hosting. The Thunder are 4-0 ATS in their last four stops in Toronto and and 5-1 ATS in their last six as a road underdog. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
12-29-19 | Harvard -3 v. California | Top | 71-63 | Win | 100 | 5 h 17 m | Show |
Harvard at California 6:00 ET Crimson (-) over Golden Bears- Really now...it seems a bit 'off' that in this meeting of the 'minds' has Harvard an Ivy League school favored on the road 3,000 miles from home against a major conference the Pac-12. This even becomes more interesting when 'we' see that the Bears are 6-1 SU at home and the Crimson are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games. This one smells worst than Boston's and Berkley's politics. Take HARVARD! |
12-29-19 | Arkansas +6 v. Indiana | 71-64 | Win | 100 | 5 h 16 m | Show
Arkansas at Indiana 6:00 ET Razorbacks (+) over Hoosiers- A pair of unranked teams with each with a single loss meet for the third time in the past year with Arkansas winning the regular season match last November and Indiana getting the best of the Razorbacks in the NIT. Not only are their records similar but both teams received the lone losses on December 7 and neither has played since winning on December 21. For Arkansas the trends are not very pretty as they are 1-5 ATS in their last six overall and they are 0-5 ATS after a straight-up win while the Hoosiers are 5-1 ATS at home. The tide turns here...take ARKANSAS! |
12-29-19 | Eagles v. Giants +4 | Top | 34-17 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 58 m | Show |
Philadelphia at New York Giants 4:25 ET Giants (+) over Eagles- This was my first love when I saw the board as the Eagles are coming off of a huge win over Dallas and need just ti win here to win the division crown. The Giants have David Jones back under center and he just had five TD passes against the Redskins and is brimming with confidence. Although Philadelphia is 9-3 ATS their last 12 meetings in New York they are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall. The pressure isn't all good for the eagles as a loss here and a Cowboys win would end their season. Guess what, it might happen...take NEW YORK! |
12-29-19 | Raiders v. Broncos -3 | 15-16 | Loss | -125 | 10 h 52 m | Show
Oakland at Denver 4:25 ET Broncos (-) over Raiders- John Gruden and the Raiders are still alive but need four different teams to lose and of course they would have to win here. A win would put Oakland at 8-8 and even if they don't make the post-season they will have shown vast improvement. Josh Jacobs the Raiders outstanding rookie running back is down for the season and his running game has opened lanes for Derek Carr. Drew Lock gets his fifth start and fourth win here. The fact of the matter is that the Raiders are 6-15-1 ATS in their last 22 road games and the home team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Take DENVER! |
12-29-19 | Jets +1.5 v. Bills | Top | 13-6 | Win | 100 | 7 h 51 m | Show |
New York Jets at Buffalo 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Bills- With zero motivation this week Buffalo is locked into their playoff fifth seed win or lose. After losing at New England last week where they had so much vested in that game that the odds makers believe the Bills will be taking this week 'off.' The Buffs are already thinking about Houston their most likely opponent in the Wild Card round. Look for Bell to have a big meaningless day and for the Jets to fly high here. Take NEW YORK JETS! |
12-29-19 | Browns v. Bengals +3 | 23-33 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show
Cleveland at Cincinnati 1:00 ET Bengals (+) over Browns- This is our final opportunity to fade the 'Dogs' of Cleveland who have had the most disappointing of seasons. The Browns have not made it to the playoffs since 2002 and last had a winner in the post season in 1994 when Bill Belichick was at the helm. Well, he's not here and the Browns will drop their third straight here as their intra-state rivals get their second win. Take CINCINNATI! |
12-28-19 | Lakers v. Blazers +5 | 128-120 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 27 m | Show
L.A. Lakers at Portland 10:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Lakers- Do you remember last year? Do you remember what the Lakers were like without a healthy LeBron James in the line-up. Well, LA has hit a rough patch and have lost four straight and now will be without James. Portland has dropped their last two after a mini 4-game win streak but are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five home games. LA is just 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games as road favorites and they are 21-45 ATS in the last 66 meetings. Take PORTLAND! |
12-28-19 | Clemson v. Ohio State +2.5 | 29-23 | Loss | -103 | 17 h 37 m | Show
Clemson at Ohio State 8:00 ET Buckeyes (+) over Tigers- This match-up has had me twisted since the opening line was posted. Granted Clemson is the defending National Champions and are undefeated but they were seeded No. 3 by the FBS and yet instituted as a favorite over the No. 2 seed Ohio State. My, first instinct was that Clemson was the side as that have not received the respect due them as Dabo has stated and now they are favorites. There are questions about Buckeyes QB Justin Fields mobility as he was bogged down against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship game but he will be ready here. Clemson is 17-5 ATS as a favorite but have been playing a weak schedule all year while Ohio State is 10-2 ATS against teams with winning records and are 5-1 ATS in their last six bowl games and are 5-1 ATS as bowl underdogs. Take OHIO STATE! |
12-28-19 | Hawks v. Bulls -9.5 | 81-116 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
Atlanta at Chicago 8:05 ET Bulls (-) over Hawks- Things for the NBA's worst team took another mis-step yesterday as Atlanta's Trae Young turned his ankle and will be out of sorts for awhile. Chicago has already won the first two meetings against the Hawks by a total of 54 points and the Bulls are the largest favorite of the season. The Bulls force a league high 17.7 turnovers a game and although Young would be susceptible to turning the ball over the rest of the club still won't be able to pick-up the slack. The Bulls who are 7-0 ATS following a SU loss are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings with the Hawks. Take CHICAGO! |
12-28-19 | Pacers v. Pelicans +1 | Top | 98-120 | Win | 100 | 7 h 30 m | Show |
Indiana at New Orleans 7:00 ET Pelicans (+) over Pacers- The surging Pelicans have won two in-a-row and neither of those wins came at home where they are 0-6 ATS in their last six as hosts. Indiana is off of a heartbreaking loss at Miami last night and are 2-5 ATS in the second of back-to-back contests. For whatever reason the Pacers seem to struggle against New Orleans going 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings. The improving Pels are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games and are 15-7 ATS after a win of 10-points or more. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
12-28-19 | Oklahoma +14 v. LSU | 28-63 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 40 m | Show
Oklahoma vs L.S. U. 4:00 ET Sooners (+) over Tigers- Okay, here it is...the FBS game that everyone thinks is a walk-over victory for LSU. Yes, the Tigers may be the best in the country as they have certainly played like it all season long meeting every challenge and then some. But, what we have here is a team that has virtually been discarded before the game has even been played and then we have the same team have their top running back a defensive players suspended from the Sooners lineup. Oklahoma who is led by QB Jalen Hurts are 7-2 ATS as an underdog while LSU is 7-2 ATS against teams with winning records. I know this seems weird but I won't be surprised if the Sooners win the game on the field. Take OKLAHOMA! |
12-28-19 | Iowa State +4 v. Notre Dame | Top | 9-33 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 25 m | Show |
Iowa State vs Notre Dame 12:00 ET Cyclones (+) over Fighting Irish- Let me start by saying that if this match-up was being played during Prime-time it might well be my highest-rated game of the day. No, need to explain other than this game 'must' be bogus. What I see is a club (Notre Dame) that had national aspirations being displayed as a warm-up for the FBS Championship Series and their disappointment has to be huge as they don't even get to play on New Year's Day. Iowa State meets the Fighting Irish for the first time and consider this game the biggest test in school history. Somehow, be it through emotion or officials bad calls the Cyclones storm the Irish. Take IOWA STATE! |
12-28-19 | Memphis +7.5 v. Penn State | 39-53 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 22 m | Show
Memphis vs Penn State 12:00 ET Tigers (+) over Nittany Lions- Speed versus power that will be the classic match-up Saturday at the Cotton Bowl where the upstart Memphis Tigers will challenge perennial power Penn State. Notre Dame enters with five straight impressive wins since their defeat by Michigan in October and are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. The Tigers are off of two straight non-cover wins over Cincinnati...this time thy get it done. Take the MEMPHIS! |
12-27-19 | Washington State +3 v. Air Force | 21-31 | Loss | -130 | 24 h 48 m | Show
Cheez-it Bowl- Phoenix, AZ 10:15 ET Washington State vs Air Force Cougars (+) over Falcons- Air Force is on a seven-game win streak going 5-2 ATS closing the season in 2nd place in the MTW North. The Cougars ended the regular season 6-6 losing to rival Washington 31-13 in their final game to finish 5th in the six-team Pac-12 North. State has their season derailed when they blew a 32-point lead to UCLA and suffered three straight conference losses in mid-season. Once again take-it with the un-ranked WASHINGTON STATE! |
12-27-19 | Pacers +4 v. Heat | 112-113 | Win | 100 | 8 h 52 m | Show
Indiana at Miami 8:00 ET Pacers (+) over Heat- A pair of well coached teams face off in Miami where the Heat who are an NBA best 13-1 at home. Indiana one of the more under-rated clubs in the NBA swept (3-0) all three meetings last season and are 7-3-1 ATS as a road underdog in their last 11 and 5-2 ATS overall as well as 4-0 ATS in their last four visits to the Magic City. The Heat are 12-3 ATS at home but this is a spot they come up short. Take the PACERS! |
12-27-19 | Bucks v. Hawks +12 | 112-86 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 25 m | Show
Milwaukee at Atlanta 7:30 ET Hawks (+) over Bucks- The team with the NBA's best record (27-5) and will be paired against the team with the leagues worst record Atlanta (6-25). The Bucks have won nine of the past 10 meetings over the Hawks but are off of a loss where they trailed the 76ers by 29-points at one time and their weak outside shooting was exposed. There is outside exposure for Atlanta as they rarely even try shots that are inside the arc. But, with the return of John Collins Atlanta has some inside presence. Take ATLANTA! |
12-27-19 | 76ers v. Magic +3.5 | Top | 97-98 | Win | 100 | 7 h 57 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over 76ers- The last time Orlando defeated a team with a winning record was in November and that was a home win over the 76ers. Philadelphia is just pounded Milwaukee 121-109 Christmas Day (Megabucks winner) and have won their last three. In that victory the 76ers set a franchise record with 21 3-pointers made and even coach Brett Brown said 'it was just one of those nights.' The Magic just defeated the Bulls at home after having lost their previous three on the road. Philly is 1-4 ATS as road favorites and are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings. Good spot for Sixers letdown. Take ORLANDO! |
12-27-19 | Oklahoma State v. Texas A&M -5.5 | Top | 21-24 | Loss | -100 | 20 h 26 m | Show |
Texas Bowl- Houston, TX Oklahoma State vs. Texas A&M 3:45 ET Aggies (-) over Cowboys- I guess this is where the SEC shows its depth and overall strength as the former Big-12 member Texas A&M favored and un-ranked over former rival Oklahoma State. The Cowboys and Aggies meet for the first time in eight years with State having won the past four meetings. A&M wants to atone for the embarrassing way they closed the season with a 50-7 loss to LSU and they are 5-1 ATS after allowing 40 or more points. Now in the SEC, Texas A&M is 11-1 ATS in their last 12 non-conference games. Take the AGGIES! |
12-27-19 | Michigan State -3.5 v. Wake Forest | 27-21 | Win | 100 | 17 h 52 m | Show
Pinstripe Bowl- Yankee Stadium NYC Michigan State vs Wake Forest 3:30 ET Spartans (-) over Demon Deacons- Without question this is the game I absolutely am sick about. This Michigan State team at 3-9 ATS has failed 'us' on every opportunity going 0-7 ATS against winning teams and are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games overall. . After setting the schools all-time win record coach Mark Dantonio's job may hang in the balance of this outcome. Wake Forest at 8-4 SU was no prize ATS covering just five of their 12 games and are just 2-5 ATS when on natural grass. Spartans rise once again in the bowl season going 5-1 ATS in their last six appearances. Take MICHIGAN STATE! |
12-26-19 | Grizzlies +6.5 v. Thunder | Top | 110-97 | Win | 100 | 8 h 1 m | Show |
Memphis at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET Grizzlies (+) over Thunder- Eight days ago the Grizzlies blew a 24-point led at OKC and have now dropped three of four starting with that 126-122 loss and they followed that by allowing the Spurs to shoot 67% in a 145-115 beating. The Thunder meanwhile have won three more games including comebacks that 24-point comeback and an 18-point comeback win over Chicago. Although Memphis is 3-8 ATS in the last eight meetings in Oklahoma City they are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games as an underdog and 6-2 ATS after an ATS loss. Take MEMPHIS! |
12-26-19 | Spurs +7 v. Mavs | 98-102 | Win | 100 | 8 h 54 m | Show
San Antonio at Dallas 8:00 ET Spurs (+) over Mavericks- Dallas who is the biggest surprise this season in NBA action not only winning at a 2-1 pace but 'covering' the number at a 65% rate. The Mavericks have been without Luca Doncic the past four games and he may well return tonight against the Spurs who are a putrid 9-19-1 ATS this season and 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games as an underdog. Dallas is 9-2 in their last 11 games as a favorite but are just 5-11-1 ATS at home in their last 17 against a team with losing record. Take SAN ANTONIO! |
12-26-19 | Knicks +8 v. Nets | 94-82 | Win | 100 | 7 h 28 m | Show
New York at Brooklyn 7:30 ET Knicks (+) over Nets- After the Knicks made a coaching change dismissing David Fizdale and replaced him with interim coach Mike Miller they were 3-3 until their current three-game losing streak. Brooklyn who has defeated the Knicks twice this season by a total of six points have won four straight and five of the last six meetings. Yet, New York is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Brooklyn and 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Take the KNICKS! |
12-26-19 | Miami-FL -6 v. Louisiana Tech | 0-14 | Loss | -105 | 29 h 53 m | Show
Miami-Fl and Louisiana Tech 4:00 ET Hurricanes (-) over Bulldogs- Upon first glimpse of this match-up my original thoughts were what is Miami doing favored here. After all they are just 6-6 and enter this fray off of losses to Florida International while Louisiana Tech is 9-3 and looking for their first 10-win season under Skip Holtz who is in his seventh year at Tech. Although the Bulldogs are 1-9 SU in their last 10 Bowl appearances they are 6-1 ATS as bowl dogs and Miami is 1-6 ATS as bowl favorites. Yet the Canes area strong favorite. The difference in program's class will show here. Take MIAMI! |
12-25-19 | Rockets v. Warriors +11 | 104-116 | Win | 100 | 21 h 35 m | Show
Houston at Golden State 5:00 ET Warriors (+) over Rockets- This is going to be the NBA's 'gift' to the Warriors for all the greatness they have bestowed upon us in recent season. This year of course they are being taken to the would shed night in and night out as they have won just seven of 31 games to date. But, Christmas is here and the NBA is very giving. Harden can score as many as he wants and Westbrook can shoot from anywhere but...Take GOLDEN STATE! |
12-25-19 | Bucks v. 76ers +3.5 | Top | 109-121 | Win | 100 | 18 h 9 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Philadelphia 2:30 ET 76ers (+) over Bucks- Milwaukee enters Christmas Day the NBA's premier contest as the league's best and are a road favorite against what many consider their toughest road test. The Bucks have won 21 of 22 and have been blowing-out the opposition while the Sixers are stumbling at 1-3-1 ATS in their last five overall. But, Philadelphia raises to the level of their competition as they are 26-9 ATS at home against teams with winning records over 60%. Add that they are 5-1 in their last six as a home dog...take 76ERS! |
12-25-19 | Celtics v. Raptors +3.5 | 118-102 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 47 m | Show
Boston at Toronto 12:00 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- The Boston Celtics are bringing fundamental basketball to the forefront every night as they are the best balanced and deepest team when healthy in the NBA and they are very well coached. They are expecting Gordon Hayward to return soon The Celtics certainly have the odds makers respect as they are forced on the road against the reigning NBA Champions. We all thought that the loss of Kawhi Leonard would have a defeating impact of the Raptors season...well, not so fast. Toronto is 21-9 and 5-1 ATS in their last six and 5-1-2 ATS in their last eight as a home dog! Raptors would love to even the season series having lost at Boston 112-106 in October. Take TORONTO! |
12-24-19 | BYU v. Hawaii +1.5 | Top | 34-38 | Win | 100 | 26 h 54 m | Show |
Hawaii vs B.Y.U. Rainbow Warriors (+) over Cougars- I wouldn't be all that surprised if the Rainbow Warriors end up the favorite after all they are playing in the Hawaii Bowl for the ninth time in 18 years. But, actually their success has been limited, going 1-4 in the last five. I have a few trends that I believe surround this game as the dog has been good in the Hawaii Bowl 9-3 ATS in the last 12 and teams that repeat a bowl appearance two consecutive years are 6-0 SU in the second game. Take HAWAII! |
12-23-19 | Washington v. Hawaii +7 | 72-61 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 42 m | Show
Washington at Hawaii 11:00 ET Rainbow Warriors (+) over Huskies- The Diamond head Classic will pit Washington against host Hawaii and like football when team get to the 'Islands' they juts seem to lose focus on why they are there. To start with here the Huskies are 2-6 ATS in their last eight road games while Hawaii are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games. Washington has won their last two following a hard fought loss against Gonzaga and may actually lose this game on the floor (take the points). Take HAWAII! |
12-23-19 | Rockets v. Kings +6 | 113-104 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 16 m | Show
Houston at Sacramento 10:00 ET Kings (+) over Rockets- The Sacramento Kings are still look to get to the NBA playoffs and with the return of Marvin Bagley III their chances are increasing. The Kings had a chance to get to .500 but dropped four of five on the road and now return home to host the inconsistent Rockets. Houston who has won their last two on the road and are 4-1 ATS in their last five away from home but are still just 3-5 ATS in their last eight games. The Kings are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 as an underdog and 9-3 ATS following a straight-up loss. Take SACRAMENTO! |
12-23-19 | Packers v. Vikings -4.5 | Top | 23-10 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 56 m | Show |
Green Bay at Minnesota 8:15 ET Vikings (-) over Packers- There is only one way for Minnesota to win the Division and that is for them to defeat the Packers here and win again next week against beat Chicago at home while Green Bay then must lose at Detroit. The mystery here is how the Packers got into this position with Aaron Rogers not having his best of years and the Packers defense and offense both rank in the bottom half of the league. The Viking are 6-0 SU at home and the home team is 7-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Take MINNESOTA! |
12-23-19 | Jazz +4.5 v. Heat | Top | 104-107 | Win | 100 | 7 h 50 m | Show |
Utah at Miami 7:00 ET Jazz (+) over Heat- Utah is on a five-game win streak including their last two on the road and look to sweep this 3-game road trip. The Jazz have come alive behind center Rudy Gobert who has had 12 straight double-doubles and is averaging 17.4 points per games and 14.3 rebounds. Miami has had their way with the league to date this season going 13-4 ATS as a favorite and 12-3-1 ATS at home while the Jazz are just 2-7 ATS in their last seven as a road underdog. But, Utah is hot and are 4-1 ATS in the last five visits to Miami. Take the JAZZ! |
12-23-19 | Raptors v. Pacers -7 | 115-120 | Loss | -101 | 6 h 17 m | Show
Toronto at Indiana 7:00 ET Pacers (-) over Raptors- 'There is something rotten in Denmark.' Toronto is coming off of their biggest comeback win in Franchise history as they roared back from a 30-point deficit against Dallas Sunday scoring 47 points (yep 47 points) in the fourth quarter. Now, the Raptors take to the road where they are 8-5 SU and just 2-5 ATS as a road underdog. This is the second of back-to-back games and Indiana is 9-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games as home favorites. Take INDIANA! |
12-22-19 | Chiefs v. Bears +6.5 | Top | 26-3 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 54 m | Show |
Kansas City at Chicago 8:20 ET Bears (+) over Chiefs- Here we go with the Bears again as the 'public' has played against them week after week with great success as Chicago is just 4-10 ATS on the season. Kansas City is pretty much locked into the third seed in the AFC with a chance to move into the second spot if those above them fail, but for the most part they know that they won't pass either the Ravens or the Patriots. After winning the Division last season the Bears are out of the playoff picture and can approach this game 'pressure' free. Look for the Bears to claw the Chiefs here. Take CHICAGO! |
12-22-19 | Clippers v. Thunder +2.5 | Top | 112-118 | Win | 100 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Oklahoma City 7:05 ET Thunder (+) over Clippers- Oklahoma City opened the season 5-10 but have turned things around since going 9-4 SU and a win here will lift them over .500. Los Angeles is coming off of a 134-109 win at San Antonio last night and there is always a question as to whether Kawhi Leonard will play or not in the second of back-to-backs. The Clippers are 7-2 in their last nine games as favorites but they are just 1-5 ATS in their last six games at OKC and the Thunder are 8-3 in their last 11 as an underdog. Take the THUNDER! |
12-22-19 | Cowboys v. Eagles +2.5 | 9-17 | Win | 100 | 15 h 6 m | Show
Dallas at Philadelphia 4:25 ET Eagles (+) over Cowboys- Thank you Dallas for providing 'us' with our Game of the Year win 44-21 over the Rams last week! But, this week in a game that can mean the division they are hampered by an injured quarterback and team that is ready to ambush the Cowboys. Dak Prescott is second in the NFL in passing yards but has had little practice time this week. Carson Wentz has been outstanding in the second half of the Eagles of late and is looking to atone for his three lost fumbles and an interception from the first meetings a 37-10 loss. Revenge is sweet...take PHILADELPHIA! |
12-22-19 | Cardinals v. Seahawks -8 | 27-13 | Loss | -104 | 14 h 5 m | Show
Arizona at Seattle 4:05 Seattle (-) over Cardinals- 'We' had the winner on and against both these teams last week as Arizona posted an outright win over the Browns and the Seahawks got 'backed-doored' by the Panthers. Seattle currently are the top seed in the NFC and they look to keep it. Playing against the lowly Cardinals who are off of a win of their own will keep the Seahawks sharp. Take SEATTLE! |
12-22-19 | Yale +5 v. Clemson | Top | 54-45 | Win | 100 | 3 h 28 m | Show |
Yale at Clemson 4:00 ET Bulldogs (+) over Tigers- The first thing that drew me to this contest is that an ACC club is such a meager favorite over an Ivy League school. I mean Yale is 9-3 and has won six straight but hasn't played since December 11 when they defeated U Mass. The Bulldogs have three losses two of which came against major conferences as they lost to Oklahoma State and Penn State before starting their current win streak. Clemson had lost four straight before upending mighty Jacksonville. Tigers have no bite and the claws don't exist. Tae YALE! |
12-22-19 | Saints v. Titans +3 | Top | 38-28 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 43 m | Show |
New Orleans at Tennessee 1:00 ET Titans (+) over Saints- Congratulations to Drew Brees who is now the most prolific touchdown passer in NFL history as he is off of an in creditable 29-of-30 completions performance against the Colts. New Orleans who is still trying to improve their playoff seed with have difficulty maintaining the euphoria they experienced last Monday and can get caught by a needy Titans team that mets Houston next week but must win here. Tennessee has won five of the past six meetings and they get the money here. Take the TITANS! |
12-21-19 | Rockets v. Suns +6.5 | 139-125 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 5 m | Show
Houston at Phoenix 9:00 ET Suns (+) over Rockets- Last I looked Houston was getting pummeled by the Clippers and then the second half started and the Rockets blasted off outscoring LA by 18 points in the third quarter. Knowing the Rockets as I believe I do I fully expect them to rest on their laurels and take this game against the Suns for granted. But, Phoenix is an explosive team that can match points with the high scoring Rockets. The Suns average 118.6 points and get the cash here. Take PHOENIX! |
12-21-19 | UAB +17 v. Appalachian State | 17-31 | Win | 100 | 28 h 11 m | Show
Appalachian State us UAB 9:00 ET Blazers (+) over Mountaineers- So here we go...Appalachian State would be screaming for a FBS spot (like Central Florida last season) if they only managed to defeat Georgia Southern, but alas they didn't. So, now the Mountaineers who have never faced UAB is a huge favorite at the Super Dome in New Orleans and it will be the Blazers that will have the most fan support. UAB who's football program was terminated in 2015 is back in bowl action in their third season since and have shown that they have great ability to rebound as they are 10-2-1 ATS after a SU loss. Take the BLAZERS! |

12-21-19 | Clippers v. Spurs +6 | Top | 134-109 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 45 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at San Antonio 8:30 ET Spurs (+) over Clippers- What happened the other night? When I tuned in the Clippers had a huge double-digit 15-point halftime lead over the Rockets and then completely fell apart in the 3rd quarter getting out-scored by 18 points and committing number technicals down the stretch. San Antonio climbs back to .500 and has won five of their last eight and are doing it with defense which they play much better at home where they are 73-14 lifetime over the Clippers. Take the SPURS! |
12-21-19 | Northwestern +5.5 v. DePaul | 78-83 | Win | 100 | 9 h 32 m | Show
Northwestern at DePaul 8:30 ET Wildcats (+) over Blue Demons- This is a battle of Chicago schools and right now it appears that DePaul has the edge sporting an 11-1 SU record while Northwestern is struggling at 5-5. The home team is 7-3-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings but the Wildcats have been favored in the last six meetings. That will be the difference here as their roles have been reversed. This time the dog once again gets the money. Take NORTHWESTERN! |
12-21-19 | Creighton v. Arizona State -3 | 67-60 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 26 m | Show
Creighton at Arizona State 8:30 ET Sun Devils (+) over Bluejays- Creighton enters this fray on a four-game winning streak while the Sun Devils are off of an embarrassing 40-point loss to St. Mary's. The Bluejays are a bit under-sized and are averaging 79 points per game but are 1-2 SU on the road while the Sun Devils are 29-6 in regular non-conference games in the past three seasons including 18-1 at home. Take ARIZONA STATE! |
12-21-19 | Rams +7 v. 49ers | Top | 31-34 | Win | 100 | 28 h 33 m | Show |
L.A. Rams at San Francisco 8:15 ET Rams (+) over 49ers- The Rams did their thing last Sunday falling to Dallas 44-21 in 'our' NFC Game of the Year and now go the San Francisco to play the 49ers for their playoff lives. They must win and and again next week against Arizona who defeated them 34-7 in their first meeting. Although the Rams are just 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings that was before they took the Niners seriously. LA is 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games and 13-6 ATS overall in their last 19 games. San Francisco in the home favorites role is 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 and 2-71- ATS within their conference. Take the RAMS! |
12-21-19 | Washington -3 v. Boise State | Top | 38-7 | Win | 100 | 27 h 42 m | Show |
Washington vs Boise State 7:30 ET Huskies (-) over Broncos- I am looking forward to being in attendance for this game and I'm sure that Boise State will have huge fan support as after all this is the Mountain West Conference Bowl game. The Broncos are 12-1 on the year and yet come up an underdog against a pedestrian 7-5 Washington squad that is truly disappointed in their season. This is an unranked team (the Huskies) that is favored over a No. 21 ranked team with what can be considered a home field advantage. This is Chris Peterson's final game for Washington and it is fitting that he is going up against the school he coached for eight seasons and had an incredible 92-12 SU record. Take WASHINGTON! |
12-21-19 | San Diego State -5.5 v. Utah | Top | 80-52 | Win | 100 | 7 h 37 m | Show |
San Diego State vs Utah 6:30 ET Aztecs (-) over Utes- Undefeated and No. 20 ranked San Diego State (11-0) gets a shot at Utah who is fresh off of an upset win Wednesday night over Kentucky. The Utes shot 55% for that game including 60% with 3-pointers and I don't expect them to have that kind of success against State's defense which ranks 13th nationally surrendering just 56/6 points per contest while holding opponents to 36.7% field goal rate and just 25.8% froM behind the arc. Take SAN DIEGO STATE! |
12-21-19 | Hawks +7.5 v. Nets | 112-122 | Loss | -108 | 5 h 5 m | Show
Atlanta at Brooklyn 6:00 ET Hawks (+) over Nets- The Hawks fly high without playing defense and are just 6-23 SU but a decent 13-16 ATS. Brooklyn has won the last six meetings but are still without Kyrie Irving and his absence is beginning to show as the Nets weak links are becoming more visible although they are 11-6 without the 'World is Flat' genius. Atlanta is 1-10 SU in their last 11 road games but catch the Nets here. Take ATLANTA! |
12-21-19 | Bills v. Patriots -6.5 | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 24 h 48 m | Show
Buffalo at New England 4:30 ET Patriots (-) over Bills- This might be the toughest wager to make in Saturday's NFL action. New England has not been playing their best ball as the season wears on and Tom Brady is beginning to show kinks in his armor. Buffalo has become the public and media darlings of late especially after they defeated the Cowboys on national TV on Thanksgiving. The Patriots have been here before and knows what it take to win these pressure games as the winner take over the lead in the AFC East something Belichick has done 10-straight years. Believe this the Pats defense will make adjustments and it will be a long day for Josh Allen. Take NEW ENGLAND! |
12-21-19 | SMU v. Florida Atlantic +3.5 | 28-52 | Win | 100 | 23 h 48 m | Show
S.M.U. at Florida Atlantic 3:30 ET Owls (+) over Mustangs- SMU has had a tremendous season going 10-2 SU and was 8-0 at one point before losing to Memphis and then Navy before closing out the season with a home win over Tulane. Florida Atlantic just captured the Conference USA title by routing UAB 49-6 and have won their last six and are 5-1 ATS in that span. The Owls are 4-0 ATS against a team with a winning record as they led the USA in scoring offense (35.2 pts) behind Chris Robinson who led the league in passing yards and had 26 touchdown passes. Take FLORIDA ATLANTIC! |
12-21-19 | Purdue +2.5 v. Butler | Top | 61-70 | Loss | -115 | 3 h 45 m | Show |
Purdue vs Butler 2:30 ET Boilermakers (+) over Bulldogs- No. 1y Butler has just one blemish on their record as they dropped a 53-52 decision at No. 10 Baylor and have shown grit in that loss. Purdue at 7-4 has player the tougher schedule and have defeated then undefeated and No. 7 ranked Virginia. The Boilermakers rely on their defense that allows opponents just 59 points per game and they hold opponents to 24 percent shooting from behind the arc. Take PURDUE! |
12-21-19 | Texans v. Bucs +3.5 | Top | 23-20 | Win | 100 | 20 h 19 m | Show |
Houston at Tampa Bay 1:00 ET Buccaneers (+) over Texans- I this spot for the Buccaneers as they have won their last four and Jamis Winton is the NFL yardage passing leader although her leads the league with 24 interceptions. Houston can clinch the AFC South with a win here four the fourth time in five years. The poorly coach Texans are just 1-6 ATS as a favorite and 1-7 ATS after an ATS win. When big games are on the line you can expect the Texans to fall as they are 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 games in December while Tampa Bay is 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 December games. Take TAMPA BAY! |
12-21-19 | Kansas v. Villanova +2.5 | 55-56 | Win | 100 | 1 h 18 m | Show
Kansas at Villanova 12:00 ET Wildcats (+) over Jayhawks- No. 1 Kansas is riding a nine game winning streak and haven't lost since opening night to Duke while Villanova has won four straight after a rough start but are 0-5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. The Jayhawks are 5-0 ATS in their last five games and the visitor is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings but the underdog is 5-2 in the last seven meetings. This is a game that the Wildcats have had circled on their schedule and they will be ready today. Take VILLANOVA! |
12-20-19 | Magic +4.5 v. Blazers | 103-118 | Loss | -111 | 10 h 16 m | Show
Orlando at Portland 10:00 ET Magic (+) over Trailblazers- Both Orlando and Portland are 12-16 and both (especially the Blazers) have been a disappointment so far this season. The Magic just haven't been able to close out games blowing leads in each of their last two contests losing to Denver and Utah in the final minutes. The Trailblazers who make it to the Conference Finals last season are just not the same this year and they have in reality given up on the season after the signing of Carmelo Anthony who can only help his individual stats but rarely helps a team win. Take the MAGIC! |
12-20-19 | Mavs v. 76ers -8 | Top | 117-98 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 19 m | Show |
Dallas at Philadelphia 8:00 ET 76ers (-) over Mavericks- Philadelphia was handed their first home loss to Miami Wednesday and it was their second consecutive after getting blown out at Brooklyn 109-89. Critics were on Joel Embiid's case a week ago and he responded with a dominating performance at Boston in a 115-109 victory. Since then Embiid has become pedestrian once agin. Dallas who has been outstanding on the road going 10-1 ATS in their last 11 and is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings. The Mavericks once again will be without Super-Star Luca Doncic and his absence will be felt here. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
12-20-19 | Grizzlies v. Cavs +2.5 | 107-114 | Win | 100 | 7 h 14 m | Show
Memphis at Cleveland 7:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Grizzlies- How can I do it? How can I possibly come back with the Cavaliers after they blow a 24-point third quarter lead in their non-cover win over Charlotte on Wednesday. Memphis like the Cavs blew their own 24-point lead Wednesday and ended up losing the game to Oklahoma City 126-122. But, with Kevin Love back in the lineup Cleveland has a strong inside game paired with Tristen Thompson that can control the game inside the paint. The Cavaliers won both meetings at home last season and can get it done here. Take CLEVELAND! |
12-19-19 | Lakers v. Bucks -4 | Top | 104-111 | Win | 100 | 4 h 26 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers at Milwaukee Bucks (-) over Lakers- This is like an old fashion shoot-out between the fastest 'guns' in the West. Both the Lakers and Bucks share the NBA's best record at 24-4 and have been denominate doing it. He funny thing about this matchup is that with all that winning both clubs are coming off of a loss. Milwaukee had an 18-game win streak ended by Dallas 120-110 and look to rebound here against LA. The Lakers got ambushed at Indiana 106-102 (Megabucks winner) and will be without Anthony Davis to night and Kyle Kuzma and Rondo are still out. Love LeBron but I am part Greek so go with the 'Freak.' Take MILWAUKEE! |
12-19-19 | Jazz v. Hawks +7 | 111-106 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show
Utah at Atlanta 7:30 ET Hawks (+) over Jazz- Atlanta now has the worse record in the East after getting pounded by the Knicks of all clubs and have won only six of 28 games overall and are on a five-game losing streak. Utah has recovered from a dismal road trip and have won four of five SU but are 0-4 ATS in their last four games following an ATS win. The Hawks on the other hand are 6-2 after an ATS loss. Take ATLANTA! |
12-19-19 | Maryland v. Seton Hall +6.5 | 48-52 | Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show
Maryland at Seton Hall 7:00 ET Pirates (+) over Terrapins- I was so looking forward to this match-up as Seton Hall is one of my 'dark horse' clubs that could surprise opponents all season. But, an issue has come up with the Concession suffered by their leading scorer and best all-around player Myles Powell who is averaging 21.2 points per game. Maryland is off of their first loss of the season to Penn State (Megabucks winner) while the Pirates are off of a loss to Rutgers (Money Game winner). With or without Powell the Big East Player of the Year the Pirates are the side as they are 7-1 ATS at home as an underdog and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games overall. Take SETON HALL! |
12-18-19 | St. Mary's +1 v. Arizona State | 96-56 | Win | 100 | 8 h 32 m | Show
St Mary's vs. Arizona State 9:00 ET Gaels over Sun Devils- Arizona State behind coach Bobby Hurley has one of the top duals in the country with forward Romello White and one of the nation's top point-guards in Remy Martin who is averaging 20.3 points while shooting 46% from the field. St. Mary's has one of the top guards as well in Jordan Ford who is averaging 20.4 points while shooting 50.3% from the field. The fact that the Gaels are favored in Arizona raises my eyebrows. Take ST. MARY'S! |
12-18-19 | North Carolina +13 v. Gonzaga | 81-94 | Push | 0 | 8 h 31 m | Show
North Carolina at Gonzaga 9:00 ET Tar Heels (+) over Bulldogs- These national powers are moving in opposite directions as North Carolina has dropped their last three and No. 2 Gonzaga has won three straight after getting blown out by Michigan 82-64. The Tar Heels are beset with injuries and cold shooting but have defeated the Bulldogs in their last three meetings. Bad news for the Tar Heels is that are 6-17-1 ATS in their last 24 games as a road underdog but coaching and pride will keep this one close. Take NORTH CAROLINA! |
