The Cardinals and Pirates meet and we’re on St. Louis. The Cards send out Matthew Liberatore, who continues to battle in this rotation. He’s given this Cardinals team at least 5.0 innings in all but one start so far this season. Mitch Keller counters and he was roughed up for 6 runs in his latest outing. He’s struggling as a whole and he’s putting a lot of traffic on the bases, which is resulting in him allowing a lot of crooked numbers. This is a great spot on St. Louis. Back the Cardinals.

The Knicks and Cavs open up the ECF and we’re on New York. The Knicks have been able to get some rest and it’s allowed them to get healthy after their dominant performance last round. Meanwhile, Cleveland needed 7 games to beat the Pistons and now have a quick turnaround against the Knicks just 2 days later. Cleveland has just never seemed to matchup well with the Knicks, especially inside this building. New York is rolling on both ends of the floor and they’re going to overwhelm a very tired Cavs side right from the beginning. Back the Knicks.

Toronto and New York continue their series and we’re on the under. Toronto goes with Dylan Cease, who has been solid this season. He sits with 75 strikeouts, which leads the AL and has gone 2-0 over his last 3 starts with an ERA of just 2.14. Will Warren counters and he has allowed two earned runs or fewer in 8 of 9 starts. He’s been a huge piece to this rotation and isn’t giving up many baserunners as a whole. This is a game where neither side will produce big innings and they’re going to struggle to manufacture runs.
